    Human

    ⚒ Appearance ⚒
Damn look at this beefcake right here. Holy Jesus. Grieves is pretty much ripped as shit. He's 6'4", so he's quite a bit shorter than his fellow bodyguard Al. He has dark dreadlocks, dull orange eyes, and a neatly kept, thin goatee. The above image is more akin to what he'll look like when he becomes a Blacksmith because manly men work around searing hot metal without shirts. Duh. Everyone knows that. When in his Butler uniform, his brutish looks prevent him from looking as classy and dignified as he really is. An image of his Butler uniform can be seen here. When in uniform, he wears a solid white headband in place of the pattern one in his face picture.

    ⚒ Faction ⚒
    Assembly of Neth:
Grieves serves a multitude of roles in the Assembly. He is, first and foremost, Diana's Butler. Anything Diana needs, Grieves is on it. Whether it's food or protection. That's what he gets paid to do, and so that's what he places before all other responsibilities. Aside from that he's sort of like the stay at home Dad of the team. With Rose around there's less responsibility for him to cook, but he can make pretty much anything edible if necessary. If someone is sick, he becomes Dr. Grieves and treats them immediately. And of course, being the huge man he is, he does a lot of the heavy lifting when it comes to loading up the carriage before departure. Whenever Diana doesn't have him occupied, Grieves attempts to provide the same treatment for Zakai, Lamont, and Vyn.

    ⚒ Personality ⚒
Grieves is a self-described renaissance man. He doesn't allow his appearance or job description to define him as a brutish body merely meant to serve whoever has the gold to afford him. No, there's a lot more to him than that. Grieves enjoys fine arts, and is secretly a well-known anonymous painter. He thinks of everything as a work of art. Food, his body, bashing in someone's skull, healing a friend, making tea, to him, it's all art and he takes pride in the work he does. Despite his bandit-like looks, Grieves is well spoken and eloquent. He prefers his last name over his first because he thinks it sounds more professional to be referred to by his surname.

Grieves is unbearably stable. No one's ever heard him raise his voice, not even in battle. He is obedient and rarely offers a contrary opinion or refuses an order unless he really, really thinks shit’s gonna get real if he doesn't. Grieves thinks of himself as a problem solver, and believes that the solution to any issue is apparent if you just allow yourself to see it and then find a way to actually solve it. He's more sensitive than he looks and behaves though. It's easy to hurt his feelings, especially when it comes to his work. He takes critique very hard, and will remember every slightly negative thing anyone’s ever had to say about his service. This pushes him to do better not just in work but in all aspects of his life.

    ⚒ Backstory ⚒
Grieves was born to bandits. His mother was a kidnapped Herranese noble who, during her time being held for ransom, fell in love with her captor. When the two of them married and had their son, Grieves' father had the inclination to abandon his life of crime and get an honest job. But escaping his mother's political ties and his father's ties to his gang proved difficult in Herranow. So when Grieves was an infant, his parents moved to Fuccino.

Living under different names, Grieves' father worked in construction. It was the best job a man with his physique and lack of education could manage. His mother worked as a maid for various politicians. When Grieves grew into a child, he would assist his mother at work and help her clean. When he hit puberty and became a teen, he'd also join his father at construction sites. He inherited his father's epic body and got buff as fuck at a young age. His father taught him to be hard working, and his mother taught him how to be classy as fuck. Grieves took an early interest in reading and developed his eloquent manner of speech from his mama. She even taught him how to play violin.

As a young adult, Grieves began to feel unfulfilled in both construction and servitude. But that's what brought the money in, so he kept working. He realized while watching a street performer what was missing in his life. He needed to express himself artistically. Sure, he was a decent violinist, but it wasn't enough. Grieves experimented with various art forms, including ballet, until he finally decided to try painting. He'd always enjoyed drawing, but painting was quite different. Grieves fell in love with the feel of a brush running across a clean white canvas.

But even then, that wasn't enough for him. Grieves now needed a way to release all of his pent up anger physically. Working for some politicians can really wear on you after a while and really make you want to punch someone. So he joined an underground boxing club. It was rough at first, but ultimately he got the hang of it and started winning most of his matches. One of the politicians he and his mother worked for at the time began to bet big bucks on his fights. Pleased with his work, the politician recommended to the President that Grieves serve as Diana's right hand man in addition to her top notch bodyguard Al. Grieves aced the interview and got the job. In preparation for the journey to the new world, he's been training with healing staves to expand his utility. After all, this is the biggest job he's ever had, and he wants to be prepared for anything.

    Class

    ⚒ Butler ⟶ Blacksmith ⚒
    Gauntlets: D Staves: E

As a Butler, Grieves offers very little in offensive capabilities. However, this can be altered with Attack Rations. Where he truly shines is as a mage tank and mage slayer. If a healer is needed in an area populated heavily by magic users, then Grieves is the guy to send. He can simultaneously play a supporting role and a tank's role to fend off incoming magical attacks. This makes him more of a niche character, and one that should definitely spend time near those that's he's closest to.

  • Diana DusetteFuccinian Senator
    Diana_W.jpg
    Race: Human

    Age: 25 years / June 6th

    Sex: Female

    Country of Origin: Fuccino

    Appearance
Standing 5'4'' tall, Diana is a tad shorter than the average woman her age. She sports a beautiful, angular and proud face with fine features, sharp sky-blue eyes, and naturally red lips. Her long hair is a rather pale ceder hue, and is often worn in a braided knot. She prefers the hairstyle both because it is stylish and also (mostly) in order to keep her hair out of her face. Oft times she's got a determined kind of look in her eyes, something which goes well together with her proud posture and fancy clothing.
    Diana_Clothes.jpg

    Faction
Diana was sent to the west along with the Assembly of Neth. She is there as a representative Lord of Fuccino. Officially she is there to provide financial support to the assembly and as a diplomat. She herself never really wanted to go, but it was a necessity if her father is to run for presidency a second time. You know, having a daughter on a diplomatic mission in the new land to the west sure looks good and will earn you voter support when you're running for official office.

    Personality
Diana is a calm person that prefers to listen while others talk rather than being in the centre of attention herself. At first she often come off as shy. That being said, she is in no way a reserved or introvert person. When asked (or when needed) she gladly shares stories in great detail, give her honest opinions or express personal feelings to strangers. She is observant and always want to learn new things about the people around her. Even though she prefers being an observer in social situations she loves to ask people questions (many and personal ones), and once she starts talking and feel secure in a social situation there is no telling when she'll ever stop.

Diana sure seems to have an open mind. She is far from judgmental nor does she show much prejudice toward people. She just loves new experiences and trying new things out, and she firmly believes that everyone has potential to do great things if they're put to use in the right way. She is certainly of a very curious nature, but she is not naïve! In fact, she is more calculating than one would think. Her rational logical side almost always trumps her emotions and intuition.

Diana sees potential in almost anything, and is rather quick to trust other people (with a few exceptions of course). See, she is quite unreliable herself, and even if she do her best to appear to be honest, caring, friendly and understanding she always puts herself first no matter what. The only thing she is truly loyal to is her family.

    Backstory
Born in a family with a long history in banking and with a current role in the political arena of Fuccino (well yeah, her father is currently president), Diana was set to be a powerful individual from birth. Since her father's banking business was doing well one could assume that she had all that she needed and got all that she wanted as a child. But that was not the case. See, most little ladies in noble families got spoiled and cared for, things were different for Diana. She wasn't groomed to be a lady, no, she was prepared to take responsibility for the family business. She was taught early that she needed to think before she acted and that she had to work hard if she was going to make it in life.

While still being a child she had to work with simple tasks in one of her father's bank offices. She also had to act with proper manners around important people with which her father meet in both business and politics. She had to study many subjects maintain a proper etiquette and practice swordplay from a young age, she was going to become the perfect daughter for her father, something he could show up and brag about. And being the motivated young woman that she was, Diana always tried her best did what was asked from her, be it in social situations, academic studies or in swordplay practice.

However, demands were high as she grew older, and it was not always easy (or possible) for her measure up to her father's expectations. Being thoroughly scolded by her father for every mistake she ever made, Diana soon learned how to make mistake look like success and how to present things in a way that appeased her father even if she hadn't carried things out correctly. And even if she didn't always need it, she sure knew how to cheat her way to success before it was all over.

As a banker's daughter Diana was taught how locking mechanisms work early on. That along with her tendency to cheat and her being overly curious made her learn how to pick almost any lock. She always carries a lockpick hidden in her hair (It also helps keeping her hair in place!).

When she came of age, many suitors were lining up for the beautiful, smart, and perhaps most importantly, rich, young woman that Diana had become. The lucky man who finally won her hand a rich nobleman - Augustus Dusette. Sadly, their marriage was not made out of love, it was arranged by their parents who wanted more power for their houses. And even if Diana really tried to feign interest in Augustus it was all too obvious that he did not fancy her much at all. For he had a sweetheart already - Leanne, one of the maids.

Diana was obviously disappointed at first, but she quickly came to terms with it and actually let it slip without making much fuzz about it. They both are on good terms and still live as man and wife, they just live different love lives. In fact, Diana is quite happy with the situation; August doesn't care what she does, she's got plenty of time and money, and really is free do whatever she likes. For a few years now she's been enjoying her new life. It is easier, even though she works hard for her father's company. For she still have more free time than ever, has plenty of coin to do whatever she feels like, and can keep any company she likes.

he only time prior to current events that Diana faced any real danger was when she was the target of an assassination attempt. It started with someone poisoning her food and poor Diana was bedridden for over a week before she miraculously got better and survived the horrible poison. After these events sir Alexander Grous was tasked to be her bodyguard.

Diana is not really a fighter, she is a diplomat, businesswoman and politician. Naturally, a person with such titles primary abilities are being slithery, evasive, getting out of trouble, and making others take the hits for her. Now, this is reflected in her stats: she boasts with high EVA, LUCK and Movement speed. She isn't really impressive in terms of defense, resistance or HP and as such she might get floored by almost any hit that get's passed her nimble dodges. Other than that, she delivers steady blows with her extra ACC and high Attack. One thing worth noting is that Diana relies heavily on being partnered up with someone to really utilize her abilities.

  • Lord Zakai Hadwin

    629f0e8bda0f07469ef457ef68c7d94e.jpg

    Race Human

    5'11

The Picture Says it all! Zakai inherited the dark red hair from his mother, he has a fairly lean build; not falling to the cushy build that a lot of lords can find themselves falling into. He's also young, so that might have something to say about that. He rather likes wearing highly detailed clothing, though when attempting to hide his lord status he may not be as.. 'fancy'. The headband though, he doesn't tend to leave anywhere. On top of that the shoulder and wrist guards tend to hang around, as well as the quiver... and his D rank weapon is the bow in the image, Zephyr.

    Age 22
    Dec. 19th

    Sex Male

    Country of Origin Herranow

    Role/Faction
Zakai is the Lord from Herranow sent from Neth in a show of a peace treaty. One of three Lords, Zakai is by no means the leader of the leaders. He tends to defer to the other two, watching the decisions they make. His reckless tendencies, which he's well aware of, makes him weary of making choices that concern anyone but himself; though his recklessness shows completely on the battlefield.

    Personality
On the average day, Zakai can be seen with his head held high and a confidence that's obvious with every stride he takes. Cheerful and outgoing, Zakai enjoys being able to share the bright world he sees with everyone else. He tends to constantly be talking, having a dislike for quiet and an enjoyment in hearing his own voice, so is either rambling about whatever is on his mind or he's asking questions of someone else to better know them. Unfortunately, this tends to annoy a lot of people and though everyone agrees Zakai to be a friendly, likable enough guy, most people can't tolerate being around him for too long.

When it comes to battle, Zakai almost has a dual personality. One moment he's that ridiculous, energetic guy who never seems to not be smiling- the next he's a focused killer. Killer is putting it a bit harshly because Zakai has never seen war and has never killed besides animals he has hunted, but the point is he becomes very quiet and very serious. During a hunt or a battle is one of the only times that Zakai isn't smiling, but is actually quite joyless, and exceptionally fearless.

    History
The notion that life is easy when you grow up a noble's son is fairly on point where Zakai is concerned. Sure he had a lot of lessons about proper etiquette, how to be a proper lord, and how to play political mind games but he didn't have to break his back doing a lot of hard physical labor like most his age. There was a lot of pressure on him to do well, though, thanks to his mother's inability to have any more kids. It was a great disappointment for everyone when Zakai's mother almost died having him; enough that for awhile there was a scandal with Zakai's father and other women. Zakai and his mother were actually in danger of being ditched for quite awhile and though they had his mother's parents to live with who were nobles themselves, it would have been disgraceful on the family name.

After having a short fling with another woman and creating Zakai's half brother, Zakai proved in some way to be worthy of his father's attention (though Zakai has no idea what it was he did right. Or wrong). Not that Zakai's father took any real part in the boys life, but he started making sure he had all the accessibility to knowledge and lessons the boy could dream of. Besides the required lessons that his father and mother prescribed, Zakai was allowed to learn weaponry which was his real joy. He would often go and spar with the knights and show off his superior abilities (that don't exist. The knight's would let Zakai win because the boy was a sore loser. Not violent, just sulky).

Okay, there was one knight who didn't let Zakai get away with his superior attitude and lack of skills. If Zakai has any ability in fighting, it's thanks to this man. Unsurprisingly they started off as rivals but now Zakai would go so far as to call them good friends; oh the joy of frenemies.

Eventually, Zakai found himself eager to put his skills to real use. Of course his parents weren't going to just let him go off to a war, but when the opportunity and obligation arose to go to the new world Zakai was all for it. Even if this was a peace treaty, perhaps he could find himself in a war in this new world that would really test what he could do! Needless to say, the life of a hero is not all it's cracked up to be. Especially not when you're so used to getting what you want, when you want it.

For obvious reasons Zakai wasn't alone in his mission to the new world. For one, his body guard would be accompanying him. A recent addition to the Herranow staff, Vilma was in some ways more skilled then Zakai and in other ways less skilled. She did her job well enough. Unfortunately rumors started up on why Zakai chose, for one a female bodyguard, and for two one that wasn't only younger then him but seen as 'less skilled' (because she was a girl). Of course explanations popped up on why he would rather quickly. She was, afterall, a very attractive young woman and Zakai hadn't really been wooing many ladies... so the prospect of a secret love that was blocked thanks to Zakai's status and his unwillingness to leave being a lord behind. Needless to say, Zakai didn't really much care what the others thought... he trusted Vilma with his life and that's all that really mattered to him.

  • Aaryn Edurne
    Lone Silver Warrior
    d5411261f6c1f5817f3efbb540f80af1_480.jpg
    Race:
    Human

    Appearance:
Aaryn is about 5'7 with silver hair and blue eyes that contrast with her mocha coloured skin. To many people, she looks feral and has a dangerous look to her. Like a bear, she has a proud, yet strong aura to those around her. Aaryn wears hella furs and riding shoes able to resist cold water and grapple onto a wyvern. Brass knee pads provide even more protection than before. Even though the girl doesn't have too much fat on her, it's all muscle boys and girls~ it's not much of a statement however because of how modest and undefined they seem to be. Her hair is normally worn up in a high ponytail with two braids tied with multiple strands of red ribbons, showing her golden piercings on multiple areas of her ear. Casually carries around her hand painted polearm axe and rides on a pure white wyvern. Her dragon even has similar colourings to her with her silver hair and blue eyes. Her axe is better depicted here:

    maplestory_aran.png
Her wyvern is pretty badass too:

    Age:

    19
    Born December 17

    Sex:

    Female

    Country of Origin:
    Wynda

    Role/Faction:
The Resistance. Though she lives in the mountains of Wynda, Aaryn likes to defend from the air since it's pretty hard to defeat someone flying so quickly with pretty high defense. She has saved countless rebels from execution by flying with her snow white wyvern "Winnie", short for Bronwyn (the wyvern is a dude, by the way) and has earned herself a pretty good position in the resistance. Wynda has a pretty rainy and snowy climate, so it was rather easy for her to blend in with her pure white wyvern. She can also provide wind power for travelling to places much quicker. As someone tanky, she's good for killing people and covering a lot of ground doing so.

    Personality:
Aaryn has lived alone for most of her life. Sure she had a tribe and everything, but it's not really the same as having siblings of your own. Due to not really knowing much about her past, the girl has had to depend on herself and become self reliant at a younger age. Aaryn has lived a rather sheltered childhood up in the mountains with all them Ice Manaketes. Aaryn has adapted to the cold weather and considers the harsh cold to be her home. She has come to find that she's never liked the warm weather of Satrella, but since she's kinda here anyways, who really cares what she wants? Aaryn is brave and adventurous. She didn't hesitate to befriend a fucking wyvern. She didn't hesitate to train with an axe made of rocks and wood and hunt for her own food that way. The girl was taught at a young age to become strong and to "carve your own destiny out of ice and snow".

Being sheltered to the world below, Aaryn was instilled with traditional Ordinist beliefs. Not the one to make the weak serve the strong, but for the strong to protect the weak and is willing to do almost anything it takes to save her friends, even for her own safety if she is close enough to the person. Don't get me wrong, Aaryn takes a long time to befriend anyone that doesn't have much in common. Considering her childhood, it's not a lot of people. She takes longer than most people to put her trust into someone. Aaryn has a tough skin and values her freedom above all else. Once you do get on her good side, you won't regret it. Aaryn is secretly very moral and thinks in a way that a traditional knight is, except with a bit more sass and suspicion. The only person (or animal) that Aaryn has the closest bond to is her wyvern, affectionately named Bronwyn. Described as wild and feral, Aaryn has a bit of trouble adjusting to social norms and formalities.

Aaryn has some identity issues. There are many times where she ponders her life and thinks about where she belongs, never coming to a clear and definite answer. She's not a manakete, there aren't many people that are able to bond with fearsome wyverns, Aaryn wasn't raised with anybody else to give her a second opinion on her views. This leaves her lost as well as confused as to who she really is. Aaryn does feel like a outcast and feels that there isn't really any world worth liing in if you don't really know who you are. With this, she feels that Bronwyn is the one creature that is able to understand her and would do just about anything for him. And I mean anything.

    History:
So Aaryn is going to be my first amnesiac character I've ever made. Yay for me, I guess. But even though she might not remember, I certainly do! And I'm going to tell you. So Aaryn was born to two normal human parents. Her mother had died in the middle of childbirth while her father was nowhere to be seen. This left Aaryn, as a little baby girl, in the snowy valley of Wynda wrapped in nothing but furs around her body to keep her warm. Luckily, before she got hypothermia and died, the famously rumoured Ice Manakete tribe found her in the freezing cold. What was strange about this particular baby was that in the midst of all that seemed dire, she smiled against the ice.

Her silver hair and calming blue eyes made the Manakete tribe trust her and raise her on her own. All Aaryn really remembered was being raised in the mountains for the rest of her life. If she had even bothered to ask, Aaryn was found on the side of a snowy valley smiling. There were specific manaketes that did treat her like traditional parents, but they were more like mentors. The Manaketes treated her as equals, learning their traditions and about Ordinism. Whenever she felt sad or lonely about being the only human amongst people that weren't like her, her elders would comfort her by telling her that Aaryn didn't need to transform like the others did to be powerful or feel accepted.

Aaryn, being human, was also tasked to bring back certain things from neighbouring human villages by traversing through the forest. She also occasionally left the mountain to hunt with an axe made of stone and wood. Aaryn took the hunted meat for food as well as fur for herself (since Ice Manaketes are immune to the cold). Some Aaryn even sold to the market. Basically, Aaryn was living a childhood as a winter hunter. When Aaryn was 16, she saved up enough gold to buy her very first real axe. Eventually, the new weapon of her's made her strikes much more powerful and deadly. This way, Aaryn was able to keep up with her Manakete hunting partners and even gather more money for the sheltered tribe.

Even though for years she was unaware of Wynda's political issues, Aaryn found herself to be able to make more money when trading with the Rebels as well as other members of the Resistance. In the more crowded cities, Aaryn found that authorities would treat her differently and found that she was rather strange. Aaryn wouldn't really reveal where her tribal clothing came from. It was really, the first time she had ever felt unsafe. Luckily, a Resistance member was able to help get her out of that situation in exchange for goods from the countryside. Eventually, she became a loyal ally, even if she wasn't an active part of the fighting. Except when she got to ride on her first ever wyvern.

So, Aaryn was in your typical snowy forest/valley hunting for game as she saw a majestic snow white creature fly from the sky. Aaryn couldn't believe her eyes. They looked like dragons... but at the same time they looked much different. Aaryn was scared at first, but somehow, in her gut, she knew that this white wyvern was her calling. Whistling towards the wyvern, it had been wounded on its leg. The creature seemed to act rather tamely towards her, maybe she had been around dragons for so long that the creature seemed so calm around her? Still, the woman offered her the leftovers from her last hunt and spent the night with the wyvern, offering it shelter as well as a fire and food for the night. It was like having something to take care of without the full on hassle. While Bronwyn was tame, he had acted rather distant until she had started to spent time with him.

The white wyvern was beckoned the silver haired girl to ride on its back. From practice with her adopted family, Aaryn became a bit of a natural. They would later become formidable hunting partners as her hunts became more and more successful by the days. Soon, bigger animals like deer and larger caribou could be caught without ease. Instead of wildly swinging her axe about, Bronwyn could quietly swoop down and sink his fangs into the poor prey. From then on, Bronwyn the Wyvern and Aaryn the Wyvern knight was born. To top it all off, her Manakete family couldn't be any more proud. That was once she started having a more active role in the Resistance. Finding out that it's own government was turning against it's own nation, the misfit Wyvern Knight decided to fight.

Aaryn learned how to rescue other rebels from being executed by simply flying away on her mount, though of course she couldn't save all of them. In fact, she learned how to fight actual sentient beings through the war and through fighting guards that sided with Taros. Even though Aaryn doesn't really know the whole story between Satrella and Neth, all she is really fighting for is her freedom and for the freedom of her Wyndian friends in the Resistance. Her unique skill set and upbringing was what made the higher ups of the Resistance bring her along on their journey. Despite her first time being away from Wynda, her family told her everything would be alright. With their permission and approval, her and Bronwyn are officially travelling outside of Wynda with the resistance and the Assembly of Neth. Maybe finally, she could prove that Aaryn truly does belong somewhere.

    Wyvern Knight ⟶ Revenant Knight
    Axe Rank: D
    DRAGON, AIR

Tanky af, best with melee fights. Can't really dodge hits all too well, so she's best to stay away from archers and anyone that knows how to use magic. Dragon hunters are also out of the question. She's speedy, and deals a lot of damage at once. Her health is also pretty good. However, all of this is exempt when you're wielding ice. A snowball means nothing when you've been left on a snowy valley to die as a child. Really good when paired next to a mage or any support. Lots of potential to be a boss-killer. Also good for rescue, once you're on Winnie's back, you're practically safe. Covers a lot of ground, good for killing sprees.

  • "I am Lamont Angelo Cristiano Basile the seventh, a pleasure to meet your acquaintance."

    Race
"Oh? What a odd thing to ask, I am a human, just one of the many who enjoy our holy goddess's love."

    Appearance
"Hmm? Ah, a description of myself you say? Why I would be honored. Starting with my over all body, I am roughly 5' 11". I have a thin frame, due to my years of study as a mage and as prince, I haven't had much time to grow much muscle in my training, par for the course. My skin is...peachy? Is that the right word? Or perhaps one could call me white as a ghost Ohohohoh~!

Ah, I am willing to admit I do have abit of... fat... though I endeavor to keep it down... and my dear maid seems to want to thwart my effort to not become... like my father... I haven't the heart to turn her down when she brings something sweet, not to mention her cooking is absolutely extraordinary!

Ah yes my clothing, i wear the typical attire of a Palenian prince, but I have a fondness for the cloak my late teacher gifted to me; she was quite the talented Dualist you know, and I have learned from her greatly while she was still with us, may she is in our goddess's arms now.

Ah yes, I have blue eyes and a peachy color in my hair, natural, I assure you. mother says that it comes from my great grandmother, though my eyes came from my father, which i hope is the only thing I inherit from him body wise... at least he is happy."

*Note* due to his soft demeanor and features the man can be mistaken for a woman, those who don't quite know of the prince might assume wrongly should they guess.

Sex"Ohohohohoh~ Are you certain your eyes are working sir? I am a man, I can assure you of this."

Country of Origin"I am the crowned prince of Palenia, I was born here, raised here, taught here. It is a wonderful place, though i do like to occasionally see the other Nations should we have a cause to visit. Truly I shall never tire of our grand game of politics, a marriage here, a trade agreement there, it is all great fun."

    Role/FactionVicar of Palenia, the assembly.

Being the representative of the Palenia is was his job to be in an assembly to meet the new western friends, to represent Plaenia's good graces and possibly negotiate trade bargains and a possible alliance, hopefully before his counterparts did.

Sadly, that went sour from day one... thankfully these Tarosians certainly lack subtly, Lamont was fully prepared for such a betrayal, for when you are in the grand game, you must always look two steps ahead of your opponent, and expect them to look three.

Before they disembarked, he made it certain their their equipment and gear was equipped and ready to go, each coin saved for the journey on safely away on his person, his teddy safely stashed in his travel pack. he was ready for them, and they expected them to be travelling under the pretenses of a jolly vacation.

PersonalityA calm, kind man with an ever present smile, to be around the man is to be covered in a aura of grace and serenity. the type of man who will ask you how your day was over dinner and eagerly listen and show interest in everything you say, someone who would make you feel important even with a single word.

To summarize this, it would be charisma, the ability to make others feel good, trusting in your very words and comfort with only a simple smile. While he thoroughly enjoys doing this, he is fully aware of what he is doing, now you might ask, what does that change?

Oh but it changes everything. A farm hand that has great strength, can swing a sword with great force, but he does not know how to do it most effectively, this is the same case for this man. he knows his charisma and appearance warrants people to drop their guards, lets him speak to them and get whatever he wishes out of them, be it within reason.

Not only because it comes naturally, but because he was trained that way, his words are as keen as any blademaster, a trueblade of the written word. As such, he is informed with virtually all affairs(literal and in terms of things going on) within all kingdoms of Neth, with a simple letter a daughter of a Fuccinan noble might simply up and lose favor with a son of another family, forcing the son to perhaps choose another, swaying the family's company in a different direction or perhaps forcing one to search for another means of keeping it'self afloat in the working world...

    And all with one letter.

Politics aside, he is a good man, who simply wants the best for his friends, family and kingdom, he dedicates his very being to the cause, more often then not over looking his own feelings in a matter to solve a situation at best.

A final note, he has mixed feelings on the fact of the beast-folk, branded and elves, from what he has been taught, they are vile creatures, deserving of scorn... but he cannot shake the slight feeling of jealousy when he sees a heron's wings, or a fox laguz's tail... They look so soft...

HistoryA history filled with politics and religious ceremony, the young man lives and breaths the grand game, from his birth to the present day he devotes himself to his craft, makings friends, deals, allies, rivals(these can prove more helpful then a friend in certain situations, some men will defend their gaming friends until the end), all have helped him gain a comfortable seat atop many a social ladder.

Of course, it was his 20th year when he met Rosalia, the woman who is the bane of his tailor, it was from day one of meeting her that his stomache fell in love, the rest of him was more hesitant to be so committed. Indeed, he swears to this day she was sent to sabotage his waist-line with her cooking, it also doesn't help that he cannot help but utterly lose himself whenever her cooking comes on the table.

"I pity the man who marries her one day, the poor fellow wont be able to move after a year... I've had her as a maid for three and I feel fat already... Excuse me, its time for my run."

*Will fill in more as more past is revealed, and when i get my bodyguard. history of time with teacher is locked away just so you know.

Hailing from the Country known as Palenia the Vicar is a fine showing of the people's finest arts. His strength being the act of casting devastating magics. His magical prowess is useful for taking down hefty armored foes as well as fellow mages as he covers the magical trio on two places, and soon to be all three.

he however lacks in the same way most mages do, he has little strength and defence. Though he can bolster allies resistances against enemy magic and in the future cure debuffs, becauses hes just that swell ain't he?
