If he was able to manipulate his age to return to 20 years old, he'd actually be stronger than Joseph in his prime.

Indeed, some he creates with his magic, others he can manually create... The ones that appear from his magic respectively are meant to boost the power of the magic in use. The ones created manually can be used for a multitude of different things.
There's also a few circles spread out around the mansion itself.
Maybe Jacques will give you a reward if you find them ALL XD
