PERSONALITY
Charming, charismatic and aloof - Kaysen has commanded the Black Squad through thick and thin for over four years. Quite an achievement, considering Black Squad's high mortality rate. Kaysen is willfully enigmatic, apparently enjoying his persona of "mysterious agent" to the fullest. Lively and cheerful, Kaysen likes to tell jokes and tease whoever is near, but beneath the cheerful exterior - Kaysen has been known to be incredibly ruthless when the situation calls for it. He tends to be oddly philosophical during quiet moments. Some believe he may actually be an Abnormal, but he has never shown off any unnatural abilities; aside from what can be described as "uncanny luck"

Appearance: Omar stands at 6’2” and is predominantly muscle. His tanned skin is lined with scars that illustrate his history and further his status as a war veteran. In addition, he has one red right eye which he covers with an eyepatch and a normal, brown left eye. He also has two silver earrings on his right ear.

Personality: A man that uses his flirtation as a coping mechanism, Omar likes to make attempts at his Black Squad members in some of the most inappropriate situations. He can be picky-choosy with who he’s gentle with and is overall biased when it comes to women. In the field, completing the objective and helping his comrades are his main priorities and his scars show it.

Backstory: An Australian that spent some time in the Middle East. Later participated in the Iran-Iraqi war.

Ability: [Gate Keeper] Omar has the ability to bring back someone who has died for exactly 30 seconds before they die again. He uses his red eye and essentially “pulls” the soul from the other side, and he has described it as forgetting a dream. He doesn’t remember what actually happens aside from the feeling of darkness and coldness. Gate Keeper doesn’t work on corpses that are severely damaged.

Equipment:
- Omar has an assault rifle with two full clips of 30 rounds each. However, it’s not in great shape and it jams occasionally.
- A standard Black Squad issued knife.
- Med kit with a few bandages, some syringes of morphine and sugar, and a stapler. Supplies are incredibly low.

Status: Omar suffers no external or internal injuries that could lower his performance. He is a bit sleep depraved though.

Serafina is a generally calm and composed personnel of interest. Her intrigues and concerns are usually voiced - especially in combat situations that require her to communicate clearly with her squad-mates. Serafina tends to keep to herself, and tend to distance herself from strangers. Among her Black Squad peers, she is generally described as a sociable, albeit reserved person. Vigilant and observant, Serafina never passes the opportunity to be the first one to step into the fray. Usually perceived as a cold and practical person by strangers, Serafina is known to put up a few smile and laughter here and there among those she knows. Like other members of the Organization, Serafina is an objective-driven soldier, prioritizing the group's objectives over all else.

Recent psych evals have taken notes of Serafina's rising tendencies of solitary activities. Studies indicate a rise in abnormal behaviors, such as thousand-yard stares, lack of sleep, and apparent retreats from social conversation. Serafina is likely to be suffering from battle fatigue and combat stresses. Further studies are underway.

A seemingly humourless and businesslike woman Mileena tends to speak in an almost monotone voice which along with her single minded focus when working with electronics furthers the perception of her robotic demeanour but she possesses a cutting wit that shows up as an unexpected joke or insult delivered with the same deadpan tone. While usually unflappable Mileena responds to flirting with sudden fury and threats of physical violence if pressed.

Once an up and coming trainee member of Denver P.D.'s SWAT division Mileena dropped off the grid shortly after being certified and only reappeared several years later as part of the Organisation

James is short and lean, with kinky black hair and dark brown skin.
Role: Specialist
Personality: A cheerful lad with a dark sense of humour. He’s never really known what a normal adult life was like- and thus he hates having off time. While generally a hard working and obedient teammate, James can come off as a little distant at times.
Backstory: Was recently promoted to specialist.
Equipment:

A fancy shmancy scanner. It can function as a Geiger counter, a satellite navigation thing, an abnormal detector, a magic sniffer... It also has an inbuilt Aetherian translator! James also has an SMG and a handgun. The handgun has a bloodstain on it that refuses to come out. James has 2 full clips of 9 rounds for the handgun, and 3 full clips of 30 rounds for the SMG. He also has a flash grenade.
Status: James has an itchy bite on his neck- that's been treated. He also has painful bruising on his right lower limb. Crouching is painful, but that's about it.
