Working with @JustYourImagination
Plot: Jake is known around the two to be a good man but he also knows how to get things done even if it means for him to break a few rules. He is a former cop that started working for himself. Jake lives on the outside of the town in the forest along with his horse and dog which his friend Andrew feels is strange for his best friend. So, he checks on him from time to time to make sure he didn’t get killed or anything. One night Jake was home and he heard a crash outside of his place. He ran out and helped the person in the car and realized it was a young Asian woman. This is where things might become interesting?
Echo was a good mother. She was a good employee. But was she a good person? The Asian did not think so. She was abandoned right from birth, put in the foster care system which was corrupt where she was. Taught not to trust and that to survive she would- could, depend on only herself. Adopted at three to a man who was far from fatherly material and taught to kill. A child assassin is what he molded her into. She eventually escaped that life at thirteen when her father was caught and taken away. An Asian couple took her in soon thereafter and life was good. She was able to put those skills behind her and found a middle-school through high-school lover. Then she got pregnant at twenty and her controlling husband began to abuse her more... So she packed her things, divorced him, and left. Now six years later she lives with just her precious daughter and her in a small town. Echo wasn't a good person but she was a good mother and so her driving was safe. Until the crash. Then a good man entered her life but, how long can good things last with her sort of luck?
