Captain America and Bucky Story w/OCs

Hello there, friends!


I absolutely love Marvel and more specifically anything with Captain America and Bucky Barnes (not in a relationship but their actual story).


I'm looking for near-literate, detailed role players to do a onexone that includes at least those two heroes and our own created characters that get deeply involved.


I'd love to make this a thread so that we can create a wide spread world as in add to what's already created. The plot would of course be different not include all the rest of the Avengers.


I'd prefer someone willing to rp long term and multiple characters at once, preferably just two at a time but more is possible if you like. I'd rather not be Bucky and be Cap.

I'd be interested in joining you, I know a little bit of captain America and even less of bucky. But id like to RP with you, but I can't really play either of those characters well.


I have this idea for a OC, he's a simbiote similar to venom, but he's not a bad guy, he's just misunderstood. He can take on a form similar to anybody he sees, but doesn't have their powers unless absorbs them.


An example, this is what he'd look like trying to imitate wolverine.

As for playing a canon character I'd most likely be better off playing somebody like Spiderman or Thor.

Plot for Canon’s:

We will base the plot recently after Civil War but fist a little back-story juice:


Cap and Buck will mainly stay the same, exact pasts tragic and adventurous as they are…I don’t want to shred up the beauty that creates them and makes them such unique and powerful Avengers. However, since the other Avengers won’t really be played in this story (they can be mentioned as NPC type scenes), we will focus on missions and character development with Cap and Buck, and around our own OCs. Cap and Buck are still learning about each other, again, and their capabilities – especially Bucky who still has his memory shot. However, now I will skip to the where/setting.


It has been six months passed Civil War; Bucky has been awakened and tested immune to the grueling phrases that make him a deadly assassin, though it can still be questionable if the enemy can manipulate him still (alien enemies, I mean). They are living a pleasant life within the Wakandan jungle and have access to much of Wakanda thanks to T’Challa, though due to Cap’s warning, they try to avoid too much exposure, in the case that Stark and Ross try to attack Bucky.


Along the same continent area, our characters come into play. Quick Note: I wouldn’t mind romance and it being part of the entirety of this role play – my character will indeed be female.


Plot for our OP OC’s:

This is very important and totally up for editing/changing/adding to:


First, I want to add one of the Infinity Stones to this plot: The Soul Gem/Stone. It has several properties that allow it to create immense power within the user but I want to put a spin on it. I would love to have our characters share/possess several of the following properties/powers of this gem/stone. We can pick and choose but again, I’d like our characters to share most of these abilities:


 The Soul Gem is sentient; it has a desire to collect souls


 The gem can attack another's soul in various ways


 The gem can reveal information by peering into another's soul or using the 'Cold Light of Truth'


 The gem can trap souls inside itself in an idyllic world.


 The gem's wielder can access the memories and skills of those imprisoned within Soul World


 The gem can revert beings to their natural state (like mind restoration or physical ways).


 The gem protects its wielder from soul-based attacks.


 The gem can disrupt the anima of a soul with a karmic blast rendering the target temporarily unconscious. Certain beings are immune to this attack.


It is one of the most powerful gems/stones regarding attacking souls in various ways. I would like our characters to definitely each share this power but we make our characters unique in specific skill sets so that the gem powers up these specific abilities. The Gem’s story will be that it was split in two but did not lose most of its power when separated (which is how our characters share most of the above properties), rather it seeks to come back as one and become even more powerful. Our characters will host half of the gem inside their bodies, unbeknownst to them. They simply believe they are super, without something inside them but later on Cap, Buck, and our characters will discover it lives inside their heart. If it is removed (Thanos or any enemy stresses it and removes it brutally), then they can potentially die but that’s where we can say that the gems were inside them most their life, creating a strong bond that powers their bodies even if the gem is taken away – allowing them to live on but far weaker and maybe even lose memory or “die.”


The plot will center around the discovery of our characters who are extremely powerful thanks to the Soul Gem, and are being attacked constantly by aliens and Hydra soldiers (still they don’t understand why but have hunches). They are constantly on the run and probably have lost most of their family members and friends to the evil forces. They feel isolated but hide and move all the time to avoid publicity. They still manage to feel obligations to protect the weak and stop the evil – so they will often fight back forces, but usually nothing large scale. No matter what they do, they are hunted. Eventually, Cap and Buck are sent out to intercept our characters (who do not know each other, never met), and bring them back to T’Challa’s lair for inspection and understanding conversation.


I was thinking our characters currently live in Europe and/or Asia (you choose one, and me the other), and ours are each found by Cap/Buck. The story develops from then on as they learn to discover who they are; they can even learn more about Cap and Bucky than the two knew about each other. Let’s also remove the love story between Sharon Carter and Cap. the story really has so much possibility especially since they will continue to be hunted and bring more catastrophe to the world due to them both hosting the Soul Gem. Thanos and some made up enemies can be the ultimate bad guys (of course) for this story.

OMG I wish I would've found you earlier lol. I was JUST about to post a Bucky x OC RP set in the marvel cinematic universe going through all the storylines following Winter Soldier and Agents of Shield. Sounds good though! If you ever need someone to do this with in the future (I'm assuming you found someone) let me know!

Your idea sounds much better than mine. I was just going to post a Bucky x OC story set in the MCU with the two characters developing a quasi-romance/uneasy companionship. Reading your post again you seem Cap oriented and altering the MCU. I Don't want to steer you from your original thoughts, unless you'd be willing to?

Pm me your ideas. I love changing things up and working through other people's views Trust me though, I LOVE Bucky
