Fandom Camp Half-Blood: Rise of the Titans

Noah

Avid Musician
The Gods stir, the Titans plot and Oracle of Camp Half-Blood has prophesied what is to pass should the Titans not be stopped.

(Please do not post yet.)

A meeting has been called in the Big House for all campers. It is evening during the campers free time, and the sudden gathering got some worried. Demigods walk into the buildings large atmosphere and sit at tables designated by godly parent. With everyone seated, Chiron cleared his throat to speak. "Hello all campers..." The centaur boomed. "I bring grave news. The Oracle has prophesied that four titans shall rise again. The gods are preparing for war and Mr. D has been called to Olympus. " Chiron looked around the room as he spoke with a serious and worried face. "We are here to discuss what can be done, for if war breaks out, Earth becomes the battleground. Are there any ideas?" Chiron asked as he panned across the room. Particularly at the Athena table.

Noah sluggishly sat down at the Hypnos table. Grumbling about time spent potentially sleeping, he listened to Chiron. The issue was extremely concerning. What could be done? He chattered amongst other semi-awake Hypnos demigods.

(You all may post. You can talk about how your hear after feels, talk with others etc. I'll move it along as others post.)

The words unscrambled themselves on the Big House. She smiled, it was still weird to watch Greek words unscramble themselves. It wasn't her first time, she had been helping her father decipher Greek writing during their excavation in the Delphi and Olympia. She shook her head thinking about how weird it is that her mother is the Greek Goddess of Mist, Magic and Necromancy, Hecate. Isara walked into the building and looked around "hmm impressive, I wonder how many demigods there are in this world." She smiled as she looked at Chiron, it was so weird to see a centaur in real life.

Really that's the question you ask? Wow you are a weird girl.
A dead girl stands next to Isara and smirks at her. Isara glares "I don't have time for rude girls, go haunt someone else." She turned around and ignored her, looking at the other campers. They glanced at her when she spoke to the dead girl. She smiled and rolled her eyes "dead people, they never just move on." She knew that they didn't understand what she meant, there were not a lot of Hecate kids around. She was the youngest of the six, she looked around and thought to herself Gods I wish something cool would happen. This is almost as boring as walking the Sahara desert. She sighed and glanced over at another table.

Jason unconsciously drew his finger across his chest from his left shoulder to the right side of his hip, it had become something of a habit whenever he was nervous or even deep in thought as he was now. The Long Island scenery was beautiful even as his mother zoomed along in their Audi. "Jason, I'm so sorry this is happening right as you get out of the hospital, but you have to understand now that they've caught your scent more will come, many more and I can't protect you and HE can't always protect you and...." Her words stopped as her throat tightend and tears welled in her eyes. "Mom....pull over." He looked over to her and saw her nod as they slowed down and drifted to the side of the road. "Mom..I don't blame you, I couldn't and wouldn't, but you know that...do me a favor and please don't blame yourself, theirs nothing you could have done." His mother faced him the tears in her eyes beginning to roll down her cheeks to her chin. "I just, I just can't come home again to see my baby in a pool of blood, I can't.....I can't.......I can't tell you how horrified and worried I was for you. At one point your heart stopped, you had died on the stretcher and they barely brought you back. I can't put you through that again...never again."

Jason sighed oddly enough he remembered his death, well not really the act of dying, no one remembers that, but he remembered a vision of a black angel with wings the color of the deepest shadows and eyes that somehow shined....but now wasn't the time to tell his mother that. All he could say was, "Let me drive, you're in no condition to." Adriana shook her head at her sons request but not for the reason he thought. "You don't need to we're already here." Jason looked around and saw nothing but woods, not even a sign or a back road. "Uhm...ma? There's nothing here." She had taken the opportunity to compose herself wiping the tears away though her eyes were still quite red. "We have to get out of the car baby, grab your things."

A few short moments later they were trudging up the hill Jason shouldering a duffel bag with a book bag on his back. He heard his mothers footsteps stop and looked up from his feet to see a large valley below, filled with many od buildings, some very greek in deigns and others....well, not so much. His mother laced her fingers through those of his free hand gaining his attention, they looked each other in the eye as she spoke. Jason, this will be your home now, you will make new friends and have many experiences both terrible and awesome and always remember I will love you until the end of time...and then some." They both chuckled a bit at their little joke before continuing. "I know mom I love you too, more than I ever really took the time to tell you." Jason's mother playfully punched him in the arm but still put some bite in it. "Don't say stuff like that for one you make it sound like I'll never see you again, two and honestly the better reason, you'll make me cry again." Jason smiled though his arm throbbed a bit and released his mothers hand taking another few steps before she called out, "Oh wait I almost forgot these." She ran up to him and handed him three small blue felt boxes, the kind that new jewelry comes in. Jason was baffled not just by the random gift of bling but by the insignia on them it was a trident rising out of the sea a brand he had never really seen before. "European?" Adriana smiled "a bit south of Europe but I guess you could say that. They are a gift from your father, I found them on your bed a couple nights ago a gift from your father. He say that you should always keep them on, even in water and that when the time comes you'll know what to do with them." Jason was thoroughly confused...his dad knew where lived, a hundred questions popped into his mind but he just nodded and opened the boxes puttin on the earrings and twin bracelets on either ear, and wrist. He turned and kissed his mothers cheek, "if you can, tell him I said thank you." Adriana nodded and patted Jason' shoulder. "Now get down there, you big lug, looks like your missing something." Jason whipped around and saw a crowd of kids near or around his age going toward a large, red, ...barn? "Ok then, party in the barn." His mom kicked him form that and he started his run calling back as he went, "Love you ma!!" With that he increased his speed and blazed towards the barn slowing as he joined the mob. His breath was a bit heavy as he looked around. Somehow he had gotten near the front of the group, who was sitting down at multiple different tables. He didn't know where to sit, so he stood and looked around for an authority figure only to see what he believed to be a centaur. "No way that's real." He muttered but was proven wrong when he spoke. "Okay...wow real, uh I got a lot to get used to around here."

Kikya worried his bottom lip thinking about this new threat as he leant forward crossing his arms on the table. This is bad very very bad. If the titans rise the world will be thrown into darkness. Yet, how can they stop them. The titans are very powerful so they will need others just as powerful.

Felix's eyes popped as wide as they could be. The titans were rising up again? How could it be possible? He looked down at the table, thinking to himself as the chatter at the Athena table rose. If war breaks out... Well, they'd have to fight, right? But how would they win? They'd need help from the gods, right? What if people were killed? "Argh, it's too confusing!" he yelled in frustration. The people at his table stared at him for a moment, then continued to discuss. Why was he not discussing with the others? He looked up. His glasses had fallen off when he was thinking to himself. He quickly put them back on, and looked back down. What was the point of discussing with the others? He sighed as he attempted to clear his mind of all the questions and just think of one: What can they do to win the war?

Dante woke up slightly later than he should have. He remembered that there was to be a meeting in the Big House. He quickly got dressed and ran out of his cabin still putting his shirt on, not caring that a few people saw him. He walked in right when Chiron started to talk. The first thing Dante said was, "We could burn them down. But that's just me." He smiled mischievously at Chiron.

Screams echoed through the young prince of Hades's bedroom. He opened his chocolate brown eyes with a annoyed grunt. "Don't you assholes ever shut up?" he said and sat up in bed. Rubbing his eyes Niwa stood up and did his morning routine, showering, dressing and doing his hair. He wasn't normally up at this hour but he had received a IM from camp telling him of the meeting. He had to listen to his parents bicker about the Titans rising. He sighed and shook his head 'Is there ever peace in this godsforsaken family?' he thought to himself. He clipped his belt to his pants along with his sword. He stepped into the shadows and appeared in the rec room at the big house. He grinned when he stepped out of the shadows "I hope I'm not late Chiron." He said and nodded his head respectfully to the Cenataur. He rolled his eyes at Dante "Oh yeah, like they would be effected by a little pyrotechnics" he said and sat down. "This isn't a joking matter." he scoffed.

Felix looked at Dante. He attempted to reason with him, but failed to. What was he talking about? "You cannot simply "burn" a titan. The same way you cannot simply "destroy" a building." he said out loud on accident. He quickly put his head back down.

"Why don't I just use charmspeak and Amikenesis on them? An hour or two is all I'll need to decimate them." Kikya asked coming out of his thoughts. That was one of the only solutions he could find.

Dante smiled and said, "Well I can destroy a building, you wanna see? And I thought I could lighten the mood, bro." Dante didn't even feel embarrassed. He really was trying to lighten the mood but it didn't work apparently.

Cade slowly walks up the hill to Camp Half-Blood scared at what happened a few days ago. He looks down at his hand and imagined them turning into pincers. The thought made him shiver and become nervous about what would happen if people saw him transform. he began to shiver and his body began to twitch with fear but then he calmed down as he saw Jason walking a bit farther ahead other with his mom and notices his unconscious nervous tick. He silently starts to pick up his pace and trails behind as he doesn't know what to do once he gets up the hill. As he gets to the massive mob of campers he looks at the the whole area and wonders where to go

Isara sighed at the others and decided she might as well add her two cents to the group. "How about using Mist to create false memories and illusions, causing them to be confused and go home. Or just hide the camp. Turn them around and wait for an opening." She smiled, it was what she was best at. The dead girl rolled her eyes Oh please like that would work on titans. Your gonna die girly. Isera growled at the dead girl "Really it seems that I should try to banish them with Necromancy." She raised her hand and a dark violet magic circle appeared in her palm. The dead girl dissipated into nothing. "Or just use magic to kill them" she added.

Chiron raised his voice as some demigods mentioned ideas and some argued. "Thank you Dante. Also, nice to meet you Mr. Miacheals,we have been expecting you. You may sit at the table over there." Chiron said as he motioned to the table where Jason's similar Godly parents children sat. "Titans are only bothered by conventional means of attack. They are so powerful bronze and other means of damage only impede them. They soon heal." Chiron said clearly as a few stragglers walked in. "Plus, one would need a lot of magic to take one down. Remember, even the Gods are threatened by Titans. Especially four of them together."

Isara sighed "well without tapping into the universal flow of magic. We could always repeat history. Join with the Cyclopes and the giants, use the big three's weapons and then banish them back to Tartarus." She rested her head on her hand and looked at Chiron, "But I doubt that the big three would let us borrow them. None the less have us in such danger. Right?" Still being her second day, she doesn't know the danger of being a demigod.

"Why don't we contact the original champions?" Kikya suggested." They beat them before why not again. At the very least they could help us make a plan?"

Niwa stared at Isara spewing such nonsense and he let out a laugh. He covered his mouth and grinned "Sorry. What you said was really funny." he said and leaned back in his chair. "The giants are in Tartarus, after turning on the gods five years ago, and I know for one my father wouldn't allow demigods to get anywhere near his helm." he said and looked at Kiyka "That is actually a good idea. I could probably find my brother Nico and talk to him." he said with a shrug.

"If we can get in contact with all or at least some of them I imagine it would be a big help. We could arrange a meeting to talk about ideas and plans." Kikya said looking around to see everyones reactions.

Jason looked a bit baffled by the centaurs knowing of his name, "uh excuse me but What exactly is this "camp" for and what is this about fighting titans??" Jason sat as he asked the last question looking at the centaur he was agitated not knowing or trusting anyone in his room he just kept his gaze on Chiron since there was no one else at his table. Though the suggestions of the others were somewhat annoying so he piped up again. "Let the dead rest, this is our problem now WE have to solve it and since we can't use the same method as our predecessors we have to be inventive."

"We are not saying that we should use the same methods." Kikya shook his head." But they could give us some ideas. They have experience with them so they could tell us what they learned about them when they were fighting."

Cade just sat silently in the room only slightly puzzled. He understood some of the Greek mythology references but couldn't believe it was real. He began pondering on who was his parent was but found it hard to concentrate as the current discussion was loud and somewhat interesting. " So from what I'm hearing is that there is going to be a war going on. As much as I am worried about this what, about the new people who recently came like me or this kid... " Cade said as he pointed to Jason. " I would prefer that you would catch us up with what's going on and why we were sent here. "

Jason nods noting that the boy did make some sense, "Alright, so it's seems to be a good plan." Jason perked up as he heard another new voice who mentioned being new and as he turned around saw that he was pointing to and including him in his statement. He turned back to the centaur, "That would be wonderful actually, I dislike not knowing why I am suddenly part of a war."

A student at the Athena table was reading through an ancient manuscript and heard a girl talking about history repeating itself. An idea shook through his mind. (For simplicity's sake we will call this Athena kid Bob.) "The first two beings were Gaia and Ouranos. Gaia gave birth to some titans and five of them rebelled against Ouranos. Four held down Ouranas (the sky) when he came down to Gaia and Kronos wielded a weapon that could kill Ouranos." Bob stated. "The Adamantine Sickle could be an artifact that can be used against the titans. It was powerful enough to harm Ouranos."

Chiron stroked his facial hair as Bob explained his theory. "The only issue, Bob, is that the sickle has been lost forever. The only person who knew where it is was Kronos, but he is currently gone from the world." Chiron stated.

The Oracle, who was sitting next to Chiron, rose to her feet. "Not only did I forsee what would happen to the world should the titans attack, but I also foresaw a group of demigods as a beacon of hope." The Oracle proclaimed. "We need a band of demigods to go out and look for the Adamantine Sickle. The path will be dangerous as the titans may be looking for the artifact as well, but our future depends on it."

Chiron looked to Cade and Jason. Two new campers. He felt somewhat bad for them as they came at a bad time and will have to find ways to cope. "For now," Chiron boomed "Everyone return to your free time for the night. Continue your schedules in the morning and we I will discuss the matter further later." Chiron noticed how Noah at the Hypnos cabin had fell asleep. "As for the new demigods, I will appoint Noah of the Hypnos Cabin to be your guide. Everyone may now leave." Chiron gestured for the Oracle to come with him as they both went to his office in the Big House.

Noah woke when he heard his name called by Chiron. 'Darn it! He thought to himself. I gotta help the new kids? I would rather be sleeping...' he thought to himself. He groggily got up and walked over to Jason and Cade. "Hey new guys..." Noah said yawning. "I'm Noah. Welcome to Camp Half-Blood. You guys came at a rather unfortunate time."

Cade looks at their guide Noah and sees how he is tired. "This is our guide? He looks as if he can barely stay awake " he thought to himself. " h-hello I'm Cade. What do you mean we came at a bad time? Isn,t this camp suppose to help us? Are we in danger? "

Isara glared at Niwa and rolled her eyes "Whatever, It was a suggestion." She yawned and looked over at some of the other kids. Watching people bicker over hypotheticals was not something she wanted to do. She perked up at the thought of a quest and her interests were finally peaked. When they were excused Isara stayed at the table watching Noah, introduce himself to the new kids. She was bored and didn't have much to do. Being her second day she really didn't know anyone or was getting accustomed to being surrounded by kids around her age.
