Name Camille Jacobs
Age: 29
Gender: Female
Nickname: None
Alignment: Lawful Good
Birth Place: Chicago, Illinois
FC: Golshifteh Farahani
Personality: Camille is a painfully devoted optimist. She tries to see the best in every situation she finds herself in and the opportunities that come with them. She trusts people and their promises with her full heart, leaving her a gullible source to be taken advantage of or double crossed. Nevertheless, she persists in believing there is good in everyone. Everyone can be redeemed. Everyone deserves a second chance. She is a dedicated worker, but oddly enough is not a perfectionist. Camille believes nature knows best, and it guides in her work process. If results don’t turn out how she intended, or something goes awry, she takes it as nature’s guidance towards another path and adjusts her methods accordingly. Even through the apocalypse, losing her life and her loved ones, she believes it is an opportunity for her to follow nature’s guidance in restoring the balance of the world.

History:
Camille was in the middle of med school when the apocalypse hit, hundreds of miles away from her family back in Chicago. Before the carnage, her life revolved around the study of plants and how medicine could intersect with that universe. She studies that same philosophy even into her current life. She had her eyes set on a job within the Nexium corporation, who were known for ground breaking new technologies in the field of medicine.

Like anyone experiencing the apocalypse far from home, Camille made the journey from Johns Hopkins medical school in Maryland with the hopes of getting further away from the outbreak site and to hopefully find her family. Upon making it to Chicago, she found nothing but ruins of her old life. The virus had spread too fast for her to salvage anything she once knew. Once in Chicago, the small band of classmates she had traveled with had split off to find their own families and homes, effectively leaving her alone to fend for herself in a changed and dangerous world.

Camille learned by observation, taking small strides into the outdoors in small increments of time until she felt comfortable enough with the habits of the creatures to anticipate how they behaved and how to best navigate her chances of survival. Spending time looting her way through Chicago to build up an inventory she stumbled across a group of survivors who were grouping together to protect and travel to grow their own group. It is through them that she found her way into the resistance, using her knowledge and skills from med school to help in the race to find the anti virus.

Like: Coffee, good food, interesting stories, meeting new people, nature, wildlife, plants, a clear sunny day,
Dislike: Pollution, smoke, snow, hateful/vengeful people, chewing with your mouth open, giving up, pessimists, unnecessary violence, forceful attitudes

3738262e3b59a20bb3afad1d5d1e8111 - Copy (2).jpgTamra Scarlet Lodge

Age
33

Gender
Female

Nickname
By reputation, she's known as “Red Wall”

Alignment
Chaotic neutral to (on occasion) neutral evil.

Birth Place
Edina, Minnesota.

Appearance
Tamra is 5’8”, slender and toned. She has a natural olive complexion, nearly obsidian eyes, and short dark hair. She views long hair as a potential risk since it can be used against her. Tamra sports a more casual light armoured attire that’s conducive for quick physical movements and protection. The black tattoo that runs across the bridge of her nose and cheeks cover a scar that she doesn’t talk about.

Personality
Tamra is determined, intelligent, closed off, and hates the monotony of most human interactions. She thrives in her façade, the one that tells her that she doesn’t care. The lies pass so easily now She’s managed to convince herself that the destruction of humanity doesn’t bother her, as long as she’s getting paid. As long as she’s gaining power. Tamra has always stayed on the winning team because that’s what she is, a winner. Her own desires outweigh the desires of others and she’d rather tell others what to do than follow orders. She’s never been good at following orders.

Tamra doesn’t hide her nature and the only way people know how she feels is when she lets them (by her actions and words). Her confidence in herself could stifle a room, but she backs her ego with her experience. She is not one led by honour, morals, or ethics. Tamra is led by her own version of justice and if it weighs in someone’s favour it isn’t out of the goodness of her heart. If she provides assistance, be sure she will come to collect on her “good deed” because nothing comes free.

Her nickname stems from her history with Nexium. She doesn’t mind being bathed in the blood of her enemies and you’ll never know how she feels by looking at her face, which is akin to a wall – expressionless. She is not led by her patience and can quickly become enraged. Tamra demands success and failings will prove harmful to those who didn’t succeed. Despite her callous front, she does have a heart buried far beneath the walls she’s built, but her loyalties often lie with the power she craves. Occasionally, she’ll favour some over others, which means they’ve been allotted one more chance before being written off.

Tamra isn’t afraid to be seen with the snakes.

History
Born in Edina, Tamra was afforded the best education. She came from a wealthy family known for their excellent firearms. Tamra grew up with guns, shooting them, building them, and learning the family business. Her childhood years were picturesque. The nice and kind family that was obsessed with weapons. Tamra had no intent on taking over the family business, which she neglected to mention to her father. The idea of carving her own path and her own success proved irresistible. Thus, Tamra was off to Florida to pursue a business degree, one her father expected her to return from to take over his company.

In Florida Tamra secured business deals for her father’s company, all for the sake of getting known and keeping up the façade that she would run her father’s company. During her time in college and meeting prominent businessmen, she came across Byron Hastings and he opened a new world of power. Instead of securing a deal for her father with the Hastings, she was approached by Bryon who proposed Nexium to her. Tamra was impressed by his drive, intelligence, and the prospect of power that she couldn’t refuse what he was offering.

After dropping out of college she, Bryon, and a few others worked closely together to make Byron’s vision a reality. When her father discovered her betrayal, he disowned her, and, when they spoke, her father utilized every disparaging word in his vocabulary. Tamra shrugged her father’s disapproval and threw herself into Nexium with more determination. Her father’s company simply couldn’t compare to what Nexium offered and she didn't need to prove it to him.

When the apocalypse hit she tried to find her family, but it proved fruitless. She has deemed them all dead – it was easier than living with the unknown.

3738262e3b59a20bb3afad1d5d1e8111 - Copy.jpg

Like/Dislike
Tamra likes reading, the smell of old books, and the feeling of pages between her fingers. She loves music and an occasional dance. Tamra lives for the moments of action, fighting, shooting, and anything that involves physical exertion. She enjoys speed, when plans go her way, and success. Money is always a perk, but power and winning are her true loves.

Tamra hates insubordination, resistance and The Resistance. She can’t stand when people stare her down, she views that act of defiance worthy of punishment. Sob stories bore her and, above all else, do not put the toilet paper over instead of under.

Name: Alexander Johnson

Age: 36

Gender: Male

Nickname: Mini

Alignment: Lawful Evil

Birth Place: Bangor, Maine

Personality: Alexander is a focused person. He occasionally cracks a joke when appropriate and isn't particularly hard to talk to. However, he takes his role as a soldier very seriously, and is respectful to his superiors. He cares about his fellow troopers and when things get serious he becomes very stoic and resolved. He is straightforward and blunt, and doesn't lets anger overcome him- most of the time.

He is a mentally strong person, with years of combat experience, he rarely panics and fast to react. Alexander doesn't hesitates to kill another person if he needs to, and he's a somewhat pragmatic person as he tries to do things logically, not letting his emotions dictate his actions even if he sometimes slips. He is very loyal and confident in those he trusts. He isn't driven by ethics- he is a soldier and soldiers have to follow orders, even if that means destroying civilizations and killing innocents. He hates the resistance and is intent in eliminating it entirely.

History: Alexander was born in a lower class family. His mother died in childbirth and his father was an alcoholic and chronic smoker. His childhood wasn't the easiest, and at times he had to make do on his own. As soon as he turned 17 his father made him enroll in the military where he served for 10 long years before being decommissioned. By the time he returned to his home his father had died from lung cancer, which left him on his own. After a year of trying to get another job, he enrolled himself in a private military company often employed by Nexium, and it wasn't long before the company was completely absorbed into the corporation.

There, he kept doing his role as a soldier for several years, and when the apocalypse struck he was tasked with several high-risk missions that put him face to face with hordes of the undead and military and paramilitary remnants. It was in one of these missions that his squad was completely wiped out, with him barely escaping with his life from an ambush staged by the survivors backed by the resistance. Since then he swore to avenge his squad mates and has been focused on destroying the resistance.

Likes: He likes to occasionally fiddle with his old Rubik's cube, despite never actually figuring out how to complete it. He also likes guns, and being the tallest guy in the room. He also likes cold, as it reminds him of his home, and dogs- even if his is long gone.

Dislikes: He dislikes alcohol and smoking, seeing them as unnecessary coping mechanisms. He also dislikes people he perceives as lazy or useless. He particularly dislikes people who break the rules or challenge the chain of command, and he is unnerved by anything with more than four legs.

Name: Jia Li Hawkins
Nickname: Lee
Age: 28
Gender: Female
Alignment: Neutral Good
Birth Place: London, England
FC: Jessica Henwick

Personality: Jia Li is a pragmatic and willing individual to do whatever it takes to benefit the greater good even at the cost of her own personal freedoms. Whether that means rebelling against those she considers unjust or those which conflict with the greater good. She’s not someone who views ‘Good’ as the concept which defines her life, rather deems it as an obligation to do so and perhaps, it might just be in her nature. Lee is indifferent with Good vs Evil, she is more concerned with moral goodness yet will not enforce it in others. And in (questionable) some situations, she may accept and become friends with the enemy so long as they’re on the same team.

Despite being a Nurse, Jia Li isn’t a pacifist, she is someone who’s willing to beat the ‘bad’ guys as long as it doesn’t kill them, except in cases of the undead that is. Preferring to go the non-lethal route in all situations, in cases of fighting with good idealism on either side, could be one of her biggest downfalls to do for the greater good. Overall, Lee just wants to do good in the world or whatever remains of the world, even if it could lead to her death.

History: Before joining The Resistance, Jia Li Hawkins was working as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the city of New York. Being an International visitor in the states gave her an opportunity to further her Nursing Degree at the University of Columbia. However, being alone in an entire country not your own can make you feel utterly lonely. With her family and best friend living back in London, the thought of making friends here at first seemed easy, when in reality was far more difficult. With Nexium being everywhere, it was an afterthought how she could land a job when a corporation was leading the Medical Field in the right direction. At first, Jia Li thought of pursuing a career in Nexium, but she couldn’t shake an off feeling about them - call it a gut instinct or a hunch - and she felt...bitterness toward the company when they shuttered help centres on fleeing refugees.

Like the others, Jia Li was just surviving in what writers (and fans of zombie flicks) would call, “Post-Apocalyptic.” Chaos ensued everywhere, and she was doing her best to help as many as she could before being overwhelmed by the mast majority turning faster than she could lead them to a medical centre. Before the government fell and the dead overran tent camps, Jia Li helped those she grouped up with and/or came across. Too busy helping others, she realised it was too late to wonder if her family and best friend were alright before cell communications and the internet was cut off. The thought of them being alive keeps her driving forward every day, despite the odds of that becoming slimmer with reports of the undead increasing around the world.

On the brink of starvation with a group of stragglers, Jia Li helped them even when she could barely help herself. With food rations and supplies all gone, she thought her end would ultimately come in the open when a group of people who called themselves, “The Resistance,” helped them. In return for helping her, Jia Li brought her own expertise of medical knowledge (and scouting, if needed) to The Resistance.

Likes: The quiet, being unbothered, coffee, people she trusts, reading, animals, plants, card games

Dislikes: Loud noises, evil doers, those who only believe in a black and white world, violence/death, the undead

Role: Nurse

Affiliations: Resistance

Relationships: Open

Other: Before the apocalypse, she spent some time learning chinese mixed martial arts; particularly kung fu. And she could play the piano to some extent on the level of a professional before dropping it altogether in favour of nursing school. Although Lee drinks alcohol and smokes, she doesn't have a particular addiction to them; if using, hardly anyone notices it.

Name
Byron Hastings
Age
32
Gender
Male
Nickname
The Baron
Alignment
Lawful Evil
Birth Place
Palm Beach, Florida

Personality
Byron is cold, calculating, and manipulative. He believes that the people around him only exist to serve a purpose unless they prove themselves worthy of being treated as equals. Right and wrong don't exist in Byron's mind, as he believes everyone has their own perspectives on good and evil, and that all actions taken are justified as long as they advance one's goals. Having never had any sort of loving environment, Byron is a closed individual who rarely speaks and hates being asked too many questions, preferring to spend his time alone or in silence. More than anything, Byron is extremely intelligent and he knows it, treating those around him as inferior at every turn. The few people that have managed to prove themselves worthy, however, get to see a side of Byron he never shows anywhere else. With those he considers equals, Byron is more communicative, loyal, and lenient in all aspects; they earned his respect and, in turn, deserve to be treated like people in his eyes. Love is something foreign to Byron, and it's entirely possible that it's an emotion he simply isn't capable of, though he has fallen in love once before (but nobody will ever know). Pride is something anyone with functioning eyes can see in Byron, as he exudes arrogance and has an air of superiority to him. What Byron is most proud of, however, is his mental fortitude and adaptability in times of strife and uncertainty. When it comes to subjects that interest him, Byron is deeply passionate to the point of obsession, which is why he rarely does anything outside of fueling these passions.

History
Byron was born into the powerful Hastings family in their Palm Beach mansion. His father, Royce, was one of the world's most prominent and powerful businessmen and it was often said that he was more akin to a nation than a person because of his power. Royce taught Byron that the world revolved around a constant struggle between the rich and the poor and that he had to defend what was rightfully his at all costs. Unfortunately, Byron's father was a very hard and proud man who expected far too much of his son since he was barely old enough to walk. Byron's entire life was filled with constant pressure and abuse from his father with the goal of making him better than Royce ever was. Since he was very young, Byron developed a sense of pride and a massive chip on his shoulder which stemmed from how inferior he was always made to feel by his old man. Fortunately for the business mogul, abusing his son ended up paying dividends in making Byron a cold, hard, and relentless man who would stop at nothing to prove his father wrong. Having all the money in the world, Byron always dedicated himself to improving his skills, developing a particular love for martial arts and chemistry.

As he grew up, Byron's abilities only seemed to become more refined. Furthermore, Byron's abusive upbringing developed a coldness in him that made him an excellent manipulator and thinker. He'd learned from a young age that in order to get what he wanted he needed people to help him, and oftentimes the best way to get that help was to resort to manipulation. It was terrifying how Byron could always make the people around him do his bidding while somehow convincing them that they were doing what was best for them. After graduating high school, Byron enrolled in a prestigious Ivy League college aided by his father's money. Contrary to popular belief, Byron never excelled at business concepts such as finance and management, but what he did excel at was getting people to do what he wanted and leading them. In college, Byron was an undefeated all-American wrestler and amateur boxer as well as an outstanding biochemist. His passion for diseases and the manipulation of DNA propelled Byron into a position where he met the team of students he would found Nexium with. Each of his compatriots excelled at their own fields, and perfectly covered for Byron's weaknesses.

They all dropped out of college and Nexium quickly began to grow, becoming the hottest startup in recent memory by far. Sometime after the founding of Nexium, Royce died of a mysterious illness. It's widely rumored that Byron engineered the disease that killed his father but nobody truly knows if that's the case. What is known, however, is that Royce's death left all of his money and companies in the sole possession of Byron, who immediately absorbed all of them into Nexium and made good use of the newfound funds. Nexium seemed all but poised to take over the world, but it was clear to Byron that the company needed a little extra push. Luckily for him, the beginning of the apocalypse at the hands of Nexium gave him just the opportunity he needed to begin taking over the world. All that is missing is the anti-virus to solidify Nexium's seat on the throne of this new world they created.

Likes
Byron loves training and learning more, as it makes him feel that he is becoming stronger in every way.
Byron enjoys toying with people and making them do what he wants, even if he doesn't even need whatever it is he made them do.
Byron only truly feels at peace when he is fighting someone, which is why he always takes the time to hone his martial arts.
Byron thinks best when walking alone, even if he has no particular destination or direction.
Byron respects efficiency most and loves seeing people achieving the best results as quickly as possible.
Dislikes
Byron has a strong dislike for poor people which was instilled in him by his father's twisted world-view.
Byron hates loud music and has no issue with attacking for disturbing him with a speaker.
Byron despises weakness most of all, and cannot tolerate people who can't fight their own battles.
Byron is quick to anger whenever anyone mentions his father, especially the circumstances surrounding his death.
Byron has always hated people who talk too much.

Spurius Vidal
(False Life)
Dr. Vidal, Ashen

Nexium Scientist

1612077963285.png1612077968945.png

Age: 33

Gender: Male

Alignment: Neutral Evil

Birth Place: San Jose, Silicon Valley, California

Personality: The first thing anyone would notice about Vidal—aside from his powdered skin—is his arrogance-filled ambition, coupled with an undying god complex. Vidal believes himself to be the smartest person in any room. The singular person meant to carry Nexium—and the world—into the future, and that he himself is proof of that. That he is the future. Vidal considers his experiments to be vital for the world, and cites many historical wars as proof that the end always justifies the means.

Vidal is angered at the slightest mishaps. He doesn't want anybody touching his experiments, technology, or himself. He demands only perfection from his peers and those working under him, expecting the most accurate results so he isn't "misled by saboteurs." Whenever he sees something new or he doesn't understand, he gets an urge to dissect it; to learn of how every piece connects and works to produce the thing's function.

Obsessed with the need for control, Vidal vies for information to exploit. Though he is only one person and far from the highest chain of command, at times it can feel as if his presence is everywhere in the building he's in, and it can be suffocating. Privacy is not a word that exists wherever he is. His drones monitor and spy on anyone he orders them to, which is just about anyone he passes by. He wants to know everything about each of his workers, giving him further control over them and the facility. Complaints have been made of how uncomfortable they feel the longer they're with Vidal. His obsession has even led to an overbearing fascination with the infected: to him, people but not people, as they lack the will and free thinking one normally has.

History:
A gas explosion sent a rod of rebar through Vidal's eye and into his left frontal lobe. This changed his personality into what it currently is: a tech-obsessed man who couldn't give a damn about ethics. He got a job within Nexium, quickly rising through the ranks as the higher ups saw his potential and work ethic. He wants to control the uncontrollable, such as humans and even zombies. With Nexium's resources, Vidal is able to conduct the research and experiments he needs. With them, he was able to biologically connect himself to many of his projects, such as his drones, personal computer, and a facility A.I. Wires run along his veins, and the amount of tech inside his body has stifled his gait and forces him to take precautions, like blanketing himself in powder found in electric cables.

Technology always fascinated Vidal. His dream was to become an engineer; to create prosthetics for people and help everyone he could with his knowledge. From a young age, he'd be found studying in the library to keep up with his grades while learning all about the world's technological advancements in his free time. He was the only child of an upper middle class family, having his parents baby him for most of his 16 years of life. Vidal was heading in a positive direction, having a group of supporting friends and family, excelling in his studies, and already creating simple tech such as RC toys and games.

Dreams change, though, as with people.

The day before his 17th birthday, Vidal was in the passenger seat of his friend's vehicle, parked next to a small restaurant. Then, a blinding flash of orange and the scorching licks of fire. The car window shattered as a steel bolt of rebar flew in, piercing through Vidal's eye and into his left frontal lobe. It was an accidental gas explosion that destroyed the building, killing 17 people and injuring 8 more. His friend who went inside was among the casualties.

Vidal was barely breathing when he was rushed to the hospital. He came teetering closer to death several times, and yet the doctors never gave up. His parents rushed in, staying by their son's side through day and night. Vidal was left in a coma for weeks as doctors repaired his injuries as best they could.

Then, his eyes opened.

Vidal made a miraculous recovery. There was an immediate cheer of relief as the parents embraced him in a tight hug. Vidal, though, did not return their actions. He remained silent, glaring at everyone in the room. When they spoke to him, he repulsed away, sneering at them. It was by this time that his parents remembered the list of injuries he sustained, said out loud by the doctor at their initial arrival at the hospital. Said doctor stepped into the room, escorting the pair out to explain once again. When the rebar flew into his head, it destroyed his left frontal lobe. There was only one similar case that occurred back in the mid-1800s, and there was only a vague idea of what to expect if Vidal pulled through.

The parents decided they and he needed time alone. So, Vidal spent more days laying in the hospital. The surgeons fully repaired his face and implemented a prosthetic eye. After a dozen more routine checkups, letting him know neurologists would monitor him for research, Vidal was released from the hospital. His parents arrived at the front to pick him up in their car. They knew something might have changed in him, but they were willing to put up with it; he was their son, after all.

His friends, though, did not see it in the same light. Vidal became an entirely different person. They called him as "no longer Vidal," and after some time cut ties with him for understandable reasons. It was as if he lost his human side—the kindness that made Vidal who he was. When that part of his brain was destroyed, so was the humanity in him. In its stead, his passion for technology grew exponentially. He became far more engrossed in his studies during class, staving off any social interaction where possible. He became curious about much more than prosthetics and tech that could benefit others; he wanted to know the more harmful technology that existed. He flipped through leaked experiments conducted by secret service officials around the 1900s and WW2, learning all he could about the inhumane experiments of the past.

His parents wanted to console him after his friend group disbanded, but he waved them off without a shred of care. Rather, their actions served to inspire him. What they did was considered something out of anybody's control. What happened the day of the fateful incident—and of the little he could recall—was uncontrollable, too. Ideas flooded into his mind. Instead of making technology to help the physically weak regain control, why shouldn't we create something to help give control?

Come his 18th birthday, Vidal explicitly told his family there was no need to celebrate for him; he wouldn't have showed, anyway. He moved out from their homely little cottage, renting an old, cheap apartment block being eaten by mold and decay. Closer to his college. It would be here that Vidal performed his first experiment on himself. Here that he gave his first augmentation, starting one year later when he was settled in with materials and tools at 19. Cutting into his wrist, palm, and fingers, Vidal carefully connected the vigorously washed wires around the innards of his limb. He wolfed down painkillers and bit down against a leather belt. Soon, he stitched the cuts back up. When most of the numbness faded away, Vidal snapped. The television flicked on. With the wave of his hand, it switched channels. Another snap, and it was off.

After the success with the television, something sparked within Vidal. A lust for more. The television was only the first step. He looked into the future, seeing himself controlling not only technology, but other people using only his hands, not laying a finger on any of them. He wanted to control what was deemed uncontrollable. Even though he had just started, Vidal became certain that his vision was the inevitable future.

However, he needed more resources and materials to continue. For that, a convenient supplier known as Nexium was already present. Vidal knew them as a mass pharmaceutical company which housed hundreds of biological and technological advancements and resources. By joining them, he'd be presented with all he'd need to set the course for the world's future. He dropped out of college, and, within a few days, he applied to work as a scientist at Nexium. With a repertoire specializing in both technology mixed with biology, it didn't come as a shock to him that he was hired. Whether it was because they saw a chance to make a useful tool out of him or because they were genuinely impressed, he does not know—nor does he care.

When he stepped into the lab, the suits took a keen interest in Vidal and what he's done—what he could do—with himself. Using their clear intrigue, Vidal convinced them to go through with his self-experimentation with their aid. He brought several ideas of what they could do with him. He explained his dream of controlling everything with his body, and how it would be profitable and beneficial for society; it was destiny, after all. Why else would the world birth such ideas in his mind? However, the actual process took months to begin. They needed to discuss the plans, leaving Vidal in the dark. As this went on, he used the free time to study the projects of Nexium. And the peers around him. The environment was entirely unfamiliar; he considered his snooping natural and justifiable. He learned about the virus, forming an idea that people infected by it would help in his future of controlling the uncontrollable. Not that he unearthed much detail; he let ambition fill in the blanks.

Eventually, Vidal was brought into the facility's surgery room. One of his ideas for self-experimentation were approved. With Nexium's help, Vidal had his whole body cut open for wheels of wire, circuits, and technology to be implanted. This circuitry was connected to his requested order: sets of spherical drones, able to surveil or attack with gunfire. They opened his mind, replacing his missing left frontal lobe with a large device.

After waking up from the surgery, stiff with pain, Vidal soldiered through and used his thoughts on the drones. In a few seconds, they sparked with life. When he wanted them to shoot, they shot. When he wanted them to fly away, they flew against the ceiling. When he wanted them off, they turned off. The drones were biologically connected to hs mind; he was step closer to controlling the uncontrollable. If he could bend the will of drones with his thoughts, how long would it be until other humans could fall under the same influence?

Throughout his time in Nexium, Vidal swiftly became a prominent scientist and tech developer. Vidal was one of the people who worked on the facility that once contained the virus. His ideas and will for each of his experiments outperformed his peers, and his employers took notice. They approved of more of his ideas to biologically connect himself to more technology. They would cut him open to plant another ball of metal, wiring, and circuits inside.

When the virus broke out, Vidal was peeved and pleasantly surprised at the same time. The facility he helped design was meant to contain the virus, and the people working there somehow screwed up. On the other hand, this was a perfect chance to gather research materials as these reported infected. If the zombies were anything as he expected, they were brainless machines; just like the ones he currently controlled. After begging to his superiors, Vidal was allowed to run a laboratory disguised as a survivor shelter to lure in a supply of test subjects. In another chamber was a confined cage of zombies. Only people in the facilities know exactly what happens to the test subjects, and they're often made sick to the core.

Currently, Vidal is connected to a dozen drones, his facility's A.I. and many of its machines, his personal computer, and more. After an incident concerning humid temperature and the technology stuffed inside Vidal, he concocted a powdery mix of talcum powder, magnesium oxide powder, superabsorbant polymer, and chalk powder; all of which are found in electrical cables and meant to make them flexible, high thermal conductivity, moisture resistant, and fireproof. He had a machine constructed to apply this over his whole body over the course of five minutes. To Vidal, this is only a necessary step closer to the future. And not once has he spared a thought about his past; about his family.

Now that he controls much of his technology, Vidal is set on controlling things more advanced than televisions or phones. He's turned his focus onto people; to make the uncontrollable controllable.

-Vidal is caked in a mixture of talcum powder, magnesium oxide powder, superabsorbant polymer, and chalk powder; all of which are found in electrical cables and meant to make them flexible, high thermal conductivity, moisture resistant, and fireproof. This gives his milky white complexion. He must also constantly change out the powder over his skin two times a day. He has a machine designed to do this process for him within five minutes.

-He is biologically wired to dozens of devices and technology. Wires are built inside his body, running through his arms and legs, connecting to his heart and brain. If something goes wrong with his tech or if it's destroyed, he will know about it immediately. This is also his greatest irritation, though, affecting his daily schedule, gait and overall life to where he's barely tolerating it.

-He needs things like the temperature or the humidity level to be maintained at a constant flow, as he is concerned how it could affect his bodily functions and the implants inside him despite the blanket of powder being there to protect him from such changes.

-He prefers to be called by his surname, Vidal. He won't give his attention if he's called by his moniker, Ashen.

-He is blind in his right eye; in its place is a prosthetic eye.

-He has a facility set up that is disguised as a survivor refugee base. Radio signals are sent from them, claiming to be a spot for survivors. In reality, people who arrive are sedated and delivered like a package to Vidal. They become his test subjects. Survivors leave the base with a far less sane mind than before.
