It's a long shot, but anyone up for some Burning Wheel? First we'll create our setting and do some broad-stroke worldbuilding. Then we'll roll up characters and allow ourselves define the world through emergent play. A story will shape from our play as we let our minds and dice guide us through tough choices and hard bargains.

As stated above, the world has yet to be determined, but the theme is fantasy. Magic, battle, and debate will ensue.

If you'd be willing to help me figure out the system and such? I like this kind of thing, especially with a Fantasy world- and I could use some time on something like this to give me ideas for the DND Setting I've been using for my games.

Of course. New players to Burning Wheel are welcome. I should have put a caution up, though. It's a deep system with lots to learn. But very rewarding. And very story-driven.

Oh, I don't know. I've never played Anima. I wouldn't say it's hard, just lots of moving parts.

Thankfully, until you reach really outlandish base stats, you don't need to use those- as they have it laid out in tables for possible values based on certain numbers.

It's only really messy when you get into the Magic system- which, while /very/ good, and /very/ comprehensive, is also outlandishly complicated.

I may be in - I've never actually played Burning Wheel, but it seems interesting.

Not at all. You'd be welcome. Now we can play for sure. I'd like four, though. So, we'll give it another day or so.

I'm going to give it another day or so on this one. Then we can get this started. I'd like to do a little collaborative worldbuilding when we start.
