Summer vacation!

Normally an unexciting time for this Slytherin……As Grimmauld place wasn’t the most welcoming place. This branch of the Black family wasn’t the best after all, not like any branch was per say. But it had the worse implications for things yup! But that was beside the point for now! This summer will be different! Very different……. He was not going back to that dreadful house for once………An expected surprise but Hey He wasn’t going to complain! Why would you, if you family was very spell happy. Not a very pleasant life at that house. But with his older brother being disowned, for a multitude of reasons, disgracing the family name by becoming a Gryffindor being one of them! But secretly, He admired Sirius’ ability to get out of the family.



Which had thrust the heir title upon him……Now.

Being sarcastic here…...


But Regulus had been invited by James Potter to stay with him as his family for the summer……..And after a long deliberation and careful planning……….He had agreed trying to sound unexcited about the prospect….But was very far from the truth of how He actually felt. But He couldn’t let Potter know that could He? Even if by this point, they were actually dating……. His soft side will stay hidden around others. Just how he was raised after all! He was most certain that most folks were aware of the pair by now……...James was a lot more publicly affectionate than He was after all! While Regulus was a bit more private about it. He was just more worried about his parents finding out about it. He could handle Sirius’ reaction but not his parents. Not wanting to think about them and just enjoy a summer where He wasn’t going to have unfond memories of after all!



By this point it was about two weeks into the summer vacation and Regulus had started getting into the swing of things at the Potter residence. It was very different from back home…. A good kind of different actually! Yeah! He quite liked it! James had planned something coming up and Regulus wasn’t too sure what the Gryffindor possibly had in mind. He could never fully read him somethings Part of his allure too. That morning on a very warm but breezy day, Regulus had woken up a bit earlier than James that morning. Blinking the sleep away from his eyes with a small yawn smiling up at him softly watching the other sleep, yes they were sharing a bed. Just watching him sleep softly as He leaned on his arms watching him sleep softly. Letting out a small content sigh but being sure not to be loud enough to wake up the other. He was enjoying the soft sweet moment……..But he would not quite admit that outloud yet. Even to James……maybe one day though.



Yes let him enjoy the soft sweet moment even as curious as He was too know what James had planned.


Another yawn escaped his lips as He ended up drifting back off to sleep just from listening to the other’s breathing as He ended up burrowing into him in his sleep. Burying his face into chest softly in happy slumber. Heh yes sleepy time here for the boys. A Gryffindor and a Slytherin, Who would have thought! The slumber did not last much longer though, as a woke back up with a small sigh. Well. He was comfortable and did not want to move. Yeah , He was very comfortable. He took a moment to peer up at James’ sleeping face again and slowly reached up a hand to stroke his cheek softly with a light touch. Letting out a small sigh as He leaned down to leave the softest kiss on the other’s forehead softly. “ Il est même mignon quand il dort ( He’s even cute when He slumbers) “ He whispered softly in delight with a happy humm. What can He say? He was a lil bit lovesick. How could He not be though?


James was different…..But only in the best of ways! But that was okay with Regulus! He was already fond of the Potter boy! But He would never admit that outloud to him. Only showing his affection in very soft ways subtle ways but that was okay! Unless they were alone. He glanced over at the clock with a soft humm knowing it was time to wake James’ up! Letting out a soft chuckle before moving to stroke his cheek softly with a happy humm and looked down at him as He smiled fondly. “Time to get up Potter!” He hummed softly leaning down to give a soft peck to the other’s cheek and lips. Hehe! A nice soft way to wake up for the Gryffindor. Only sweet, soft things in his house! It’s adorable! No need to question it! He waited quietly for the other to wake up. Knowing exactly how to make it happen faster if need be.

Ah, summer vacation!

One of the best things ever in the world! And this summer break is different from the other summer breaks James Potter has had in all of his years of living. Mostly because Regulus Black is going to be staying with him! Isn’t that amazing? Most wouldn’t expect Regulus to be hanging out with James Potter. But where they are spending the summer break together! There’s going to be so much to do! So much fun lies ahead! James is over the forest right now!

James had even asked his parents if Regulus could spend all of summer break staying at the Potter residence. Knowing them, they’ll most likely say yes to it!

Euphemia and Fleamont Potter are honestly the best parents James could have! They’re extremely supportive and overall so caring and thoughtful. James came out as trans at the age of thirteen, and his parents were supportive of him! Offering Regulus a place at the Potter residence for the summer break? Supportive Effie and Monty! James dating Regulus Arcturus Black? Supportive parents! The same can’t be said for Regulus.

James knows that 12 Grimmauld Place was, is, an unpleasant place to be staying at. Especially for Regulus. James knows what’s up. Walburga and Orion Black can go eat some nasty earwax flavored jelly beans for all James cares! Listen, that’s all he can come up with right now. Ah Godric, they can get hexed! James would prank them if he could. But, some purebloods are just not groovy. Nope! And being the absolute best boyfriend that he is, James had invited Regulus to stay with him at the Potter residence over summer break. Well, why not? It’s certainly better than staying at 12 Grimmauld Place! The Potter residence is more lively and welcoming.

Regulus had given the invitation some thought, and James was jumping over trees at how happy he is that Regulus decided that yes, he will stay with him and his parents! Hooray! James and Regulus are going to have an amazing summer together! James is going to have lots and lots of things planned out for them!

James and Regulus can have a sleepover every single night! Is it considered a sleepover though? Yeah, totally. A fun sleepover! Unlike Regulus, James was much more affectionate and outgoing, soaking up all the affection he could get. What can he say? He’s an absolutely sappy man. It had been two weeks into summer break and James was already enjoying having Regulus over. How could he not? James has to make the most of the summer!

The night before had been amazing. Just Reggie and James hanging out until it had been time to turn in for the night. Sometimes, James sleeps like a rock, undisturbed and sleeping through the night. He had cuddled up close to Regulus in his sleep as well. Sleepy cuddles! James is such a dorky man. A sappy, dorky, Gryffindor.

James had slept throughout the night like a rock, not being disturbed at all. James needs his beauty sleep after all! But, well, his beauty sleep wasn’t to last. So sad.

James’ sleep was disturbed by something. A pleasant dream. The stag woke up with a start, startled out of sleep.

What!? What’s going on!? Whomst dares wake the stag from his sleep!? Oh, it’s just Regulus. A very blurred out Regulus because he doesn’t have his glasses on and because he literally just woke up. “I’m up, I’m up!” The stag was quick to exclaim, words squished together out of sleepiness. And Reggie waking him up is absolutely okay! The stag let out a tired, groggy hun. “Morning Reggie.” James hummed, moving to stretch out his stiff limbs. An obnoxiously loud and over dramatic yawn left his lips.

Ah, a wonderful brand new morning! The sun is shining, a brand new day of summer vacation. And a brand new day to do something fun and exciting!

“So, how did you sleep?” James inquired as he reached to grab his glasses and slide them on his face. That’s much better. As always, James had that morning ratty bed head hair.

James inched forward a little to give Reggie a small peck on the cheek. Morning kisses for Reggie! There’s no such things as too many morning kisses! James was quick to press another kiss to Reggie’s cheek. More soft kisses! Morning kisses are the best!

It will definitely be a wonderful summer vacation!

Never in a million years would Regulus imagine that he’d be staying with James Potter for the summer. Well, here He was staying with James and his absolutely wonderful family! He couldn’t say the same of his own. His family was very unsupportive and very stuck in the old ways, but He knew since Sirius had been disowned, He’d have to play the part of the heir for now. But He was with James this summer and decided to let his guard down a bit and just enjoy the summer with his boyfriend! Yes! Boyfriend! He wasn’t sure how many of James’s friends were aware of them dating. He was hoping to not see his brother much that summer to avoid any long-convoluted questions that were inevitable from his older brother. Regulus was used to Sirius’ blatant idiotic tendencies though. He didn’t think his brother was actually stupid though…. just had stupid moments. But he would never give the Gryffindor brother of his the satisfaction of knowing that.

But He was forever grateful for the Potters for allowing him to stay with them during the summer with James. James really was the absolute sweetest boyfriend! He’d let him know that in his own way though.


The welcoming environment was so different than the cold environment of his own home! It was! It was honestly lovely to see what an actual loving family was like and even Regulus had grown fond of how supportive and kind both of James parents were! Wow! He knew of his parents disproval of him dating James and well the whole coming out process was way more difficult in how own home. But He was thankful to have the support of James and other people who were more like a family to him than his own parents had been. And that was bloody wonderful! So wonderful! He would never be able to express his gratitude for all these wonderful folks but He had as his found family. Well especially James Potter! He’s been Reggie’s rock throughout this whole process and He was more grateful than words could say! Truly!

He was forever grateful! But He was sure James that knew that!


Honestly with it being two weeks into the summer vacation, Regulus was forever grateful that that He had been had said yes! He was still a bit surprised of his parents had not tried to persuade him otherwise! Walburga and Orion were not very warm people after all! This was truly going to be a fun summer not being back at the dreaded 12 Grimmauld place! He was looking forward to seeing what James had planned for them, albeit not showing his excitement outwardly!

He wasn't as outwardly affectionate as James was.....But in private yes, He could be very affectionate!

They would absolutely be having the most amazing summer! A sleepover every night – sounded a bit cheesy but it was very true! It had been an amazing two weeks thus far! Regulus had been actually enjoying every moment of it!....Would He admit that outloud? Maybe in private to James but not to just anyone! He had enjoyed them just happily hanging out the night before! He had definitely enjoyed every second of the quiet time! Cuddling together at night was also a huge plus! Yeah, Reggie could be super affectionate too when they were alone at it! He could be a sappy Slytherin too! Yeah this was a great summer thus far!


Regulus had slept alright that night. Albeit He did sleep a ton better when He was with James. A very comforting presence. It was really sweet. He let out a delighted humm when such a soft kiss, woke James up from his slumber. He smiled a bit content with that. Moving to stretch a bit less exaggerated than the other animagus but He couldn’t help it. “Morning James” He replied to him softly. Moving to sit up a bit and ran a hand through his own hair to at least settle it for the moment. He always found the way James woke up adorable but nope he wouldn’t say it out loud. Haha nope! Reggie had to keep some things to himself after all! Had to keep up his reputation after all!


He moved to just sit comfortably to watch James get his glasses with a soft humm. He had seen the clock and new it wasn’t too early and yes sleeping in would be nice another day but Reggie liked naps. What can He say? He’s a cat Animagus after all! A black cat to be precise! How fitting! He also never knew what James had in store for the day so He was a bit eager to find out. It was always a joy to see how excited that He got over the plans. James was the best boyfriend after all!- Regulus for sure thinks so!! He would say that to others. That he would. “ I slept better than usual? You mon amour (my love)” He asked quietly slipping in a cute petname in French since it was just the two of them in the room. Although around James’ parents, He had felt safe enough to be affectionate around them too. The whole Potter family was so lovely!

He couldn’t help the small snort of a laugh that left his lips when James left the peck on his cheeks. A big smile moving across his lips. Morning kisses were the best after all! They were! Never too much kisses! He leaned over to return the soft kisses to both of James’ cheeks with a delighted humm. As He reached to help tame James’ hair just a little bit carding his fingers through the other’s hair. “ So James……What is the plan for the day?” He asked curiously.


He was aware that at some point , Reggie would probably have to interact with James' friends....which included his brother. But that would be okay! Regulus was prepared for that. Beside's James was well aware of the tension.

There’s never a dull day in the Potter household. Nope! It’s always warm and lively here, and welcome too. No dull, boring days here. Only warmth and welcome. James wanted to make sure that Regulus is going to enjoy spending the summer in the Potter household. Only the best for Reggie. This is going to be an awesome summer!

James is going to make sure of that. He’s going to make sure this summer vacation is going to be the best and over the top!

And you know, Sirius doesn’t know about James and Reggie.

Sirius is sure to strangle James if he finds out that the stag is dating his younger brother. If Sirius can reach his neck of course. Hehe, funny short animagus Sirius is. But what can James say? Regulus is an absolutely stunning and attractive man. What a lucky stag he is! So lucky. Well, Remus knows. But that’s because James wouldn’t stop talking about Reggie with Remus. Remus has Sirius so let James be a dork and gush about his amazing Slytherin boyfriend! Reggie is so amazing.

He’s still kind of sleepy from just now waking up. James adjusted his glasses on his face until he was satisfied. What time is it anyway? Ah well, that can wait! For now, it’s morning kisses time!

Morning kisses for Reggie! No such thing as too many kisses for the fellow animagus. James is such a dork. He really is. A dorky Gryffindor in love with his Slytherin boyfriend! Oh, and don’t forget about good morning hugs! James is simply head over hooves for Reggie! Haha, get it? Cause he’s a stag animagus? Okay, he’ll stop. Hehe, head over hooves. Funny pun. But man is he good with puns!

Anyways…

James scooted closer to Reggie to envelope the Slytherin in a big, warm hug. Warm hugs for Reggie! James buried his face into Reggie’s shoulder, not saying anything for a moment. Just enjoying hugging his boyfriend after waking up. Wholesome affection! Very cute. “That’s good.” James mumbled sleepily after hearing that Regulus slept better than usual. After a moment, James lifted his head up though let his chin rest on Reggie’s shoulder comfortably. “I slept well last night. Slept like a rock as usual.” He chuckled at the last part. The animagus let out a very happy sigh, “Sleeping next to you is so much better, you know? Much better than sleeping alone.” James pressed a small kiss to Reggie’s cheek. It’s true, you know. James slept better cuddling right up next to Reggie! James usually sleeps good during the night but sleeping next to Reggie is even better.

“Have I ever told you that you give the best cuddles?” James chuckled lightly, keeping his head rested on Reggie’s shoulder. Reggie is the best for cuddles, there’s absolutely no doubt about that. James is all here for it.

There’s so many things James wants to do over summer break and yet it seems like there’s so little time to do everything. Seriously, James needs to make the most of the summer before it’s over. And there’s so much to do! James wants to spoil Regulus. He’s the best boyfriend ever! He really is. A lot of dorkiness and him being dramatic and over the top.

With it being two weeks into the summer, James needed to have as much fun and adventure as possible. There’s no time to waste after all! The two of them need to have the best dates ever! And knowing James Potter, he’s going to be planning out the best dates out there for Reggie!

The stag animagus hummed in delight when Reggie moved to tame his ratty bed hair. So sweet of Reggie! Oh, and the kisses too! James loves it when Regulus is affectionate to him. It’s the best. “We’re going to have the best summer ever!” The stag declared with confidence. “We’re going to have the best dates ever!” They sure are! Just the two of them having fun.

You know, James would really like to stay in bed all morning and cuddle with Regulus but not today. Nope! That can be saved for another day. For today, James must spoil Reggie and be the best animagus boyfriend in the world! Well, James will certainly be spoiling his fellow animagus with affection and his mere presence! James sure does have something wholesome and fun planned for the two of them today! Even if it is a little cheesy and dorky. But hey, what else would you expect from James Potter? Something generic? No no. This is James Fleamont Potter!

Okay, no more stalling!

“Well, today I was thinking that you know, we could go and do some berry picking, you know? Cheesy I know but it’ll be the two of us having fun! It’ll be cute.” James hummed, moving to press a kiss to Reggie’s forehead.

The first two weeks of summer had gone by so smoothly and Regulus actually had been having a wonderful summer thus far all thanks to James and his most wonderful family! He was very thankful and grateful! He was! This was going to be a most wonderful summer for sure! Only the best for these two boys after all! He was sure the rest of the summer would be fantastic as well! He was most sure about it! Yeah! Never a dull day ahead for them at least while He was staying with James and away from the hell of home. Yeah never a welcoming place was his home. He was a little curious to know where His brother was staying for the summer since He was aware in the past, Sirius had stayed with the Potters. But He was staying elsewhere obviously. As they had not made Sirius aware of it yet.


But when He did finally know it was going to be quite a scene! Sirius was a bit of a protective brother at times! Regulus did find it a little amusing but would never admit that out loud. Nope, He would not! But He did not know about them yet so at least they could relax a bit. He knew his brother would react overly dramatic about it! But love was a funny thing and He really did love James and with his brother’s approval or not, He wouldn’t be going anywhere! Nope! Regulus was here to stay. His parents were also unaware of the relationship and that was for the best too! It was! Only a few of his ‘friends’ really knew about him and James and honestly, He wanted to keep it that way out his circle.


Regulus had been awake for awhile before James had woken up but He couldn’t help but yawn a little bit. Stretching a tiny bit like a cat. A cat animagus, He was anyhow! He blinked slowly as He was watching James quietly with a small smile. James was super dorky but Regulus did not mind it one bit! He found it kinda cute……But only really James knew that He didn’t mind it. But He loved the fellow animagus dorkiness and all. Love all around here after all! So much love in this room right now! Wholesome affection here! Only the most wholesome things! He let out a small humm as He happily hugged the other back in the warm hug pressing his face into James’ messy nest of hair with a happy warm sigh. He could let down his guard down here with James after all! “ I am glad you slept well as well mon chéri ( my darling) “ He whispered softly. Looking back up at him with much warmth and love. “ Sleeping besides you is absolutely a treat, I have to agree” He told him softly. Leaning to give a soft kiss on James’ cheek once more. He was smitten, He couldn’t help it! He really did sleep better beside James after all! He did!


James was really the best boyfriend ever to Regulus!


“ Oh do I?” He mused softly with a humm of delightly. “ I would have to say that would be you, mon amour ( my love)” He replied softly in a tone that meant no arguing with him about it. Reggie using his serious tone hehe! Works like a charm on James most of the time. Regulus fully enjoyed how affectionate James always was and was hoping to be able to return all the affection, In his own way of course! But He absolutely loved being spoiled like this by James! He was the sweetest boyfriend after all! Two weeks of the upmost bliss so far and He was sure this wonderful feeling was absolutely here to stay! James was truly the best, Regulus wouldn’t disagree with that. He adored his dorky animagus boyfriend after all! “ I wish things could always be like this….” He whispered to him softly leaning to give one quick peck to James lips. They were alone at the moment after all , so James would get lots of soft affection from Regulus!


Carding his fingers gently though James’ hair to get through the tangles and making sure his hair look presentable! Not like James ever looked unpresentable after all! He always looks amazing to Reggie but It was Regulus’ way of showing affection to his boyfriend after all! He showed his affection in many ways but this was just one of them! Yeah! All the soft affection for these two! A Gryffindor and a Slytherin who would have thought?! But They had made it work. Sneaking in a few more soft kisses when He could! What?! He couldn’t help it! He was absolutely smitten for James! He was! Spoiling James with attention was what Regulus wanted to do at the moment as as much as the two of them could just stay in bed all day and just be affection, Regulus always knew James had something big planned! He always seemed to surprise Regulus with his plans for the day somehow! “ We sure will!” He chimed back with a bit of a laugh. Yes, Reggie can laugh thank you! Both the animagus spoiling each other with affection that morning! Hehe! It was oh so cute!

It was the cutest honestly!


Reggie sat in silence with a soft humm just relishing the other’s presence. Berry picking? Regulus was not expecting that one bit….Yeah it was rather Cheesy! But Regulus didn’t mind Jame’s cheesiess. He didn’t. He blinked slowly before nodding softly finally satisfied with how James’ hair looked and moved his hand to gently cup the other’s face for a moment. “ Well that was unexpected……Yes a little cheesy but it does sound like it could be fun!” He replied softly. Smiling a bit more at the kiss to his forehead. “ If it’s just us two as well sounds even better Potter! Sounds like a grand plan to me!” He mused softly with a nod.

Yeah, The Slytherin wasn’t expecting it. What would they even do with the berries?! But anytime with James would be wonderful and beats anything his parents would have made him do that summer!

There’s plenty of time for James and Reggie to have fun and go on cute dates and adventures. And James is going to make the most of the summer. He’s got so many ideas floating around in that hyperactive brain of his. Yeah. Just classic James Potter things here. What a dorky animagus he is. The first two weeks of the summer have gone by smoothly. And there’s no dull days here. Absolutely not! Only fun, exciting days here.

Lots of cuddles, affection, and dates are in the future. Yep! James is going to be spoiling Reggie with cuddles and taking him out on cheesy dates. Cheesy but fun dates! James being excited is probably the understatement of the year. The whole year. He’s a lucky, hyper, and dorky stag.

Sirius doesn’t need to know about James and Reggie. Not yet at least. Sirius is bound to find out about these two lovebirds eventually but for now, let’s not think about that. Okay? Okay. James and Reggie should simply be enjoying their time together and not worrying about overly dramatic Sirius Black. That’s enough of that!

James buried his face into Reggie’s shoulder, simply enjoying hugging his boyfriend. All the affection for these boys! Yep! James is going to spoil his boyfriend with lots and lots of affection! Morning hugs and kisses for Reggie! Both of them seemed to have slept so well and that’s good. And listen, James loves the little nicknames that Reggie bestows upon them. It’s cute! James has cheesy nicknames for Reggie, but what else would you expect from James Potter? The king of cheesiness! “Yeah?” The stag hummed out, moving a hand to card through Reggie’s hair. He sighed happily, “Sleeping next to you is the best, you know? Very nice and warm.” He laughed, pressing a little kiss to Reggie’s cheek.

Affection is very nice. He happily accepted the kiss to his cheek and was more than happy to return it.

James knows there’s no arguing with Reggie. Absolutely no arguing. No debate. Nope, none of that here. “Hmmmm, I guess you’re right. I’m a great cuddler. I give the best cuddles don’t I?” The stag laughed a little, not letting go of the hug. Nope. Long hugs here! He knows better than to argue with Reggie. Most of the time at least. All the cute cuddles here.

He didn’t want Regulus to ever have to go back to 12 Grimmauld Place. Reggie could spend every summer here! With the Potters! James and Reggie could have a sleepover every night and James wouldn’t have to worry about Reggie being in the horrid place called 12 Grimmauld. James is not going to be allowing that. Never! “Me too.” Was James’ rather simple answer. Reggie doesn’t have to go back to that place. You know, James doesn’t want the happy mood to be dampened and replaced with sadness. This is supposed to be a happy summer break for these two.

It’s time to lighten the mood back up! Reggie had pecked his lips, which made James melt a little bit. Cute and wholesome affection! “I love you so much, my honeypie.” Yeah. Honeypie. Leave it to James to use cheesy nicknames for Reggie. Yep. He returned the peck to Reggie’s lips.

James didn’t want to leave the bed, it’s honestly too early in the morning. But there’s a date planned and James does not want them to miss out on it. Berry picking for the win! And then James and Reggie can have many dates in the future. Many dates await them. And James has a whole bunch of ideas.

What lovebirds they are. A Gryffindor and a Slytherin hopelessly in love with each other. And the two different houses would never stop them! James is happily accepting all of the kisses that Reggie has to offer him. How could he not? He’s such a sap. A cheesy, dorky, and sappy man. And a very lucky man. He’s so lucky to have an amazing boyfriend like Regulus Black. He doesn’t care how Sirius is going to react. Nope! He’s so in love with Reggie. Very much in love.

Is it too early to think about how he wants to marry Reggie? Is it? Because he wants to!

Berry picking is going to be so much fun! It sounds like fun too. Then they can eat the berries, after washing the berries off first of course. See? James comes up with the most terrific ideas for dates! Even if they’re really cheesy. But hey, James wants to spend time with his lovely boyfriend. He’s the best boyfriend in the world! James simply wants to spoil Reggie and spend some quality time with him. Berry picking may be cheesy but it’s gonna be so fun and cute!

“What else would you expect from me? I’m full of unexpected surprises!” James chimed in with a cheesy smile. “It’ll be the two of us!”He promised.

There’s no time to waste! They must get going! The two of them can spend all day together berry picking and then eating the berries together! What a lovely date this is going to be! “Come on Reggie, we should get ready and then we’ll spend the whole day together!” James exclaimed excitedly.

Summer was going to be amazing this year! It already had been for the first two weeks and Regulus may have not be super vocal about how grateful that He was to James and his family. But He did really appreciate them, especially James! He couldn’t stop thinking that and couldn’t ever! Though anything beats his previous summers and spending the entire summer with your boyfriend anyways was the best thing ever! No complaints from Regulus here! None in the slightest! So far the summer had been just full of love and wonderous things for the two of them. And admittedly Reggie enjoyed every moment and second of it.


Regulus absolutely looking forward to seeing what the rest of summer brought them! It would be so perfect and magical for them both! It would be no doubt about that! He even loved all of James’ cheesy date ideas and plans. They always were fun even if he had his doubts from time to time. He absolutely loved the cheesy hyper energy that the fellow animagus brought! It was honestly so refereshing and so sweet. He was absolutely even if Reggie didn’t look it , very excited as well!


No need for his brother and James’ best friend to find out about them dating yet. Of course they would tell or he’d figure it out at some point but now was definitely not the time to think about it. It was just about them two! Such a cute couple they were! No need to worry about others just enjoy each other’s company. And Regulus just planned on doing that, the entire summer! It was going to be absolutely beautiful! They were beautiful together!


He let out a small happy sigh as He leaned his face to press into the other’s hair with a happy delighted hum. Loving every second of hugs. This was what He wanted every day to be like, no worries, just happiness, no expectations just seeing the one whom, He loved. He couldn’t help but sneak in a little extra forehead kiss to James as well. They were still alone after all! He was smiling an usually dorky smile but he couldn’t help that James always caused that. He didn’t exactly mind it though! Sleeping well together was the best and they both honestly had to the cutest nicknames for each other, cheesy or not. Reggie didn’t truly mind the cheesy nicknames though. It was how James was and He honestly loved him for it. It was how James is and Regulus loved James just the way He was of course! He wouldn’t really change a thing about him expect trying to persuade him to take better care of his hair. He closed his own eyes briefly for a moment letting out a happy hum as James carded his fingers through his hair. It felt wonderful. His eyes fluttered opened slowly glancing up at James with a soft blush and smile. “ I could say the same about you Jaime” He teased softly in return. Smiling more at the kiss on the cheek, quickly reciprocating it.

All the kisses for the two of them! They only ever deserved the best kisses after all! Right?! Right! Only the softest smooches for these too. Happily returning all the kisses. Nope Reggie wasn’t someone who was the best to be arguing with! James for sure knew that. No debating here on that. That was common knowledge alright! Yep! For sure it is! Regulus couldn’t but but laugh in return with a nod. “ Mhmm you do give the best cuddles! No guesses, you do love!” He mused softly happily still hugging onto the other. All the long affectionate hugs here for these two! All the cutest cuddles. These two only deserved the best after all! Yeah! They do! No question about that here.

“Perhaps….It can be” He whispered softly in return moving to nuzzle his face into James’ neck for a brief moment before glancing back up at James. He had been having such a nice and peaceful time here with his boyfriend that He wasn’t sure, He could ever go back to the dreadful 12 Grimmauld Place……A cold and harsh home where things were not happy and just pure misery. But that was how He grew up. But the warmth from the Potters was such a welcome change that Regulus was enjoying every moment of it. Admittedly, He didn’t even think He could go back home after being in such a loving supportive environment. But enough of all these sad things. Just happy things from here on out! Just happy things for these two lovebirds!

Only soft affectionate things here now! He smiled softly at James. Brushing aside anything but positive thinking for the moment. Cute wholesome things here only for James and Regulus after all! No separate houses stopping them besides it was summer so your Hogwarts house didn’t exactly matter at the moment. He couldn’t help but flush a little at the overly cheesy nickname and the bold but true statement from James! “ I love you too mon amour!” He whispered softly with a happy humm. He honestly really loved the cheesy nickname. He leaned quickly to give him another soft peck on the lips. What? He was so in love! Let them be!


Neither of them really wanted to leave the warmth of the bed or each other. It was early but it was never too early for affection. Yeah? Berry picking sounded like it was going to be oh so cute! They would absolutely not miss out on the date of course. Always an opportunity to cuddle more later after all! Never a wrong time to cuddle after all! So many dates always to look forward too! Many many dates await them in the future and it was going to be oh so cute and amazing! Regulus was looking forward to seeing all what James had in mind. After all! The stag animagus always had the best date ideas.


Such lovebird these two animagus were! Both of them so hopelessly in love with each other. A Gryffindor and a Slytherin who would have though?! Right! No stopping these two! They were here to stay! Happily leaving as many kisses as He could on James face to use up as much of their private alone time to give him affection as humanly possible hehe! He honestly was so uber lucky! The luckiest Slytherin! He loved how sappy and dorky James was truly! He found it charming! In the best of ways of course! He was so very luck to have the most amazing boyfriend ever: James Potter! Both of them so lucky and very much head over heels for one another! Although! How could they not be right? That would be impossible for them to not love one another! He wasn’t too worried about how his brother may react as He knew, it wouldn’t probably take him long to come around. So in love with the fellow animagus, He was!


Never too early to think about the future after all! Regulus wanted to marry James one day! He knew that He did! One day of course things would fall into place for them!

Cheesy dates were honestly always will be and are the most amazing dates after all! It sound like it was going to be oh so fun! Berry picking was going to be amazing just the two of them. Maybe they could even bake a pie with them after cleaning them of course! He was just looking forward to spending time with James! Though how could He not? James was the best and always the most amazing boyfriend ever! He really was the best boyfriend in the world! This was going to be such an amazing day! He was looking forward to being spoiled in anyways! Quality time was always the best. It was going to be oh so fun and adorable! “ Maybe we could even use the berries for a pie?”

“ You are always full of such surprises!” He chuckled softly with a nod. “ Alright my love” He whispered giving him one more quick peck on the lip before placing his hand on his face with a warm smile. Just enjoying the sweet and soft moment here with James. Before letting out a soft groan. “ Alright alright hun…..I’m getting up” He chuckled gently playfully batting a hand lightly against his shoulder before pushing himself up and stretching a bit. “ Probably should wear something I don’t mind getting messy huh?” He asked softly glancing over at him waiting for James to sit up as He finally pushed himself up off the bed.

An amazing summer. The two of them can always have an amazing time every single summer. Just the two of them spending quality time with one another and going on special dates. Just cute couple things. James has so many ideas for dates that he’ll have to try and cram them all into their summer vacation schedule. Got to make the most of the summer! Let loose and have fun! They can spend all day, every day together and not get bored. Nope, James won’t allow any boredom here!

They’ll have a date tomorrow too! Just making sure the two of them have an absolute blast together. James is a dorky man in love. A very hyper man. What can James Potter say? He’s head over hooves for Regulus. Hehe. Hooves. He’s a stag animagus so obviously he’s gotta say that. Okay, he’ll stop. For now at least. He’ll be back with more funny puns. He’ll be back.

It’s just going to be the two of them! No need to worry about Sirius Black coming after him. Sirius might find out eventually but right now? No talking about Sirius. Nope! Not at all. Remus wouldn’t tell Sirius about them, James knows that. Hopefully.

James was trying his best to get as much affection in as he could before they left for their date.

See, James didn’t want Regulus going back to 12 Grimmauld Place; it’s just not safe for him. Seriously. It’s not. Regulus can stay here at the Potter Residence with James! Effie and Monty are much more welcoming and supportive. Best parents, they are! Reggie can just not go back to Grimmauld Place and stay here! It’s much more welcoming, safe, and warm here. Besides, they’ll be spending all the time together! And James would love that very, very much. Even though he sleeps like a rock, he sleeps better cuddling Reggie. “Mhm,” James mumbled out against Reggie’s shoulder, “it can always be like this.” He wondered if he should bring up the subject of Reggie potentially not going back to 12 Grimmauld Place.

No. Not now. That would dampen the mood so much. And this is supposed to be an absolutely happy summer for these two cute lovebirds! So yeah, James decides he’s not going to bring it up. He may be extremely talkative but he knows when not to say something if it’s going to be such a killer to the happy mood. Yeah. Only happy moments between James and Reggie!

He really doesn’t wanna leave the bed right now but they have to if they wanna spend all day together. And then after they eat berries or bake (whichever they do), they can change into comfy pajamas and hang out and do some cuddling. Just cute things here! Wholesome things. They’re going to have an amazing day, James knows it.

Well, it seems like they’re going to be baking. Berry pie! Sounds absolutely delicious. “Yeah, we should wear something that we wouldn’t mind getting messy.” James agreed with a smile as he had gotten off the bed and was now heading to his closet to see what outfit he would wear for today. Something that he wouldn’t mind getting messy.

Berry picking is an amazing date idea! Yeah! The two of them can spend all day, or most of the day, picking berries and then they can wash the berries off and eat some and use the rest for the pie. It really had been the best two weeks! No question about it! So many special, wonderful dates and so much amazing quality time for these two lovebirds! Just the cutest couple things here. Regulus had been having the most amazing time thus far and was so excited to see what else James had in store! No boredom here , only fun times for the two boys! Time to be less tense and just have an amazing time!

A date every day! What could be more fantastic than that! An absolute fantastic time instore for these two boyfriends! He even adored the hyper activeness of James and how dorky that He could be! So many cute and fantastic dates in store for these two! It was oh so cute and precious! No question about it!

No need to worry about Sirius at the moment. He’d find out some day but not today. Enough about Reggie’s brother. Now onto more happy things yus!

All the affection for these two! Regulus was happily soaking up all the cute sweet affection given to him by James! Always happy to accept these things. Smiling softly. So very sweet and cute! He couldn’t help but smile bigger and wider from the cheek kiss from James. He simply adored his fellow animagus! He did! A content and happy cat animagus, Reggie was. His eyes fluttered closed happily as James carded his finger through his hair. So much sweet affection by these two- it was oh so precious! The cutest couple things from those too. Reggie never thought, He would like someone touching his hair but when James’ did it, He obviously did not mind. They were so absolutely were in love with one another! No doubt here. Wanting to soak up all the affection before the date. “ I love you oh so much too Jaime!”

He would absolutely be showing affection on the date as well: whenever he felt they had privacy that is!

Yeah, 12 Grimmauld Place was not a safe or happy place for anyone. No comparison it was pretty much Azakaban but somehow kinda worse. Regulus had been so happy at the Potter residence the past two weeks, He’d pretty much never wanted to go back home. It was much warmer and safer here. He also didn’t have to pretend to be what he wasn’t due to his parents illogical stuck in the medieval way brains. Ugh unsupportive parents were the worst. He’d be happy to stay! He’d really would! It would be discussed for sure at a later date! Now was time to just enjoy every last moment of the summer of course! This would be after call! A stag and a cat – Who would have thought?! an absolute happy summer for the two lovebirds for sure! Only Happy moments for the happy Animagus boyfriends. That was a given for these two sweethearts.

James was really a mystery with his surprises and honestly Regulus loved that about him. “ Mhm and I absolutely love being spoiled and surprised by you my sunshine!” He hummed softly with a happy sigh. He waited patiently for a little bit and Got up off the bed and ran up behind James wrapping his arms around his stomach and pressing his face into his back. “ Could I pretty please borrow a shirt” He asked in the sweetest tone of voice. Of course, He was going to ask that. He knew James would most likely let him right! Anything for Reggie? That is what James kept saying after all! He knew he could probably persuade the Gryffindor. Besides James’ shirts smelled like him and Regulus wanted that right then, He did! James smelled amazing to him. Leave the Slytherin alone ~ He could be quite sappy too.

Berry Picking is one of the most amazing creative date ideas! Such a way to spend the day! Such a cute way to have some fun! James really knew how to pick super adorable dates for sure! Maybe even feed each other berries! James was absolutely a berry sweet boyfriend for sure! Reggie honestly did not mind the puns. He didn’t! How exciting is it to be spending every single day with Regulus. No boredom here, James won’t allow that. Reggie and James will have fun every day! The stag animagus will make sure that the two of them make the most of the summer, boredom is absolutely not welcome here! This is going to be one of the best summers ever! Just these two dorks having the best dates ever and spending quality time with one another. Yep, just cute and wholesome things for these two absolute dorks.

James is a really lucky animagus. One day they’ll have to worry about Sirius but not today. Not now. Why spend a lot of time worrying about what Sirius Black will think? This summer is going to be full of fun dates that James has planned! Cheesy dates but overall cute and wholesome. James is such a dork; a hyperactive dork.

Really, James didn’t want Regulus to go back to 12 Grimmauld Place. That place is not safe and it’s not as warm and vibrant as the Potter household. Reggie could stay here with James and his parents! Surely Effie and Monty Potter wouldn’t object to that. They’re supportive parents and are literally the absolute best. They wouldn’t object to Regulus staying here at the Potter residence! It’s just that Regulus does not need to go back to 12 Grimmauld Place, that place is not groovy. It’s not cool at all. Reggie can stay here!

It would be pretty nice to sleep in until the afternoon but these two have a date to attend. A cute berry picking date. James is full of surprises. “And I absolutely love you too, Reggie.” The stag animagus grinned as he moved to give the cat animagus a small kiss to the nose. All the affection here! He enjoyed giving his fellow animagus lots of hugs and kisses and he enjoyed having Reggie spend the summer here with him. It’s just the best, you know?

James wanted to stay in bed all morning, soaking up cuddles and hugs and kisses. But there’s no time for that. Berry picking awaits. A whole day of picking berries. Isn’t that fun? It sure is! And then when these two lovebirds get home, they’ll be baking a pie.

Now, James knows basically little to no French. But his heart flutters whenever Regulus speaks French to him. It does! His heart flutters around in his chest. He should really learn some French. “I love you so much, Reggie. So much!” More kisses for the cat animagus! And he eagerly accepted the nuzzling of noses; it’s cute! James was a sap for love.

James may come up with the cheesiest nicknames out there but it’s cute! Honeypie is a cutely cheesy nickname for Regulus. And he’s got other cute nicknames. “I’m just the berry best boyfriend, aren’t I, my love?” There he goes again with the puns. He just won’t stop making cheesy puns. James Potter is a funny guy so it’s fine.

One day, James is going to marry Regulus. Godric willing he’ll do that one day. They’re just so amazing together and the cutest couple ever. But they’ve got plenty of time to think about that.

He was quick to hug Reggie, honestly not wanting to let go for a while. Hugs are the absolute best, you know? So warm and comforting. James has never baked anything before, but how hard could it be? Baking a pie seems relatively easy! “Yeah, baking a pie should be no problem, you know? Seems easy enough.” Yeah, James won’t know what he’s doing when it comes to baking but it’s worth a try! “We’ll have fun picking berries and baking a pie, then we can eat the leftover berries.” Sounds perfect. And cute. James let his head bury into Reggie’s shoulder. The Slytherin smelled absolutely divine.

James is the bestest boyfriend ever! “Only the best for you, for the both of us.” James assured him, giving his fellow animagus a peck to the cheek. “We’ll have the best dates ever over the summer. This is going to be an amazing summer.” He promised with a dopey grin on his lips. “I come up with the best surprises, don’t I?” James hummed, but he knows he does. He has the best, yet surprising, date ideas. Like berry picking. The stag animagus accepted the kiss, and he was very happy to return it back to his fellow animagus boyfriend. He enjoyed spoiling his boyfriend. Very much so.

James is more than happy to share his clothes with Reggie! He’s the bestest boyfriend after all! And a himbo. Like he’s a big himbo. An idiot. But he is Reggie’s himbo. Hehe. He loves Reggie very much! He couldn’t say no to Reggie, he just could not. The stag animagus happily accepted the hug with an amused chuckle, “Of course you can borrow one of my shirts, Reggie.” James moved a hand to ruffle Reggie’s hair. The Gryffindor wasn’t sure which shirt Reggie would want so he opted to rummage through his wardrobe for multiple shirts and let the Slytherin pick. And James did say anything for Reggie.

He sure does know how to come up with some amazing date ideas! James only wants the best for both him and Regulus. Just the two of them being happy boyfriends together. And berry picking will be amazing, it sure will. Baking a pie together and eating some of the leftover berries and then just settling down for the evening. Everything sounds perfect, you know? James only wants the best for them. No sadness here, only cute things. James is a berry sweet and berry awesome boyfriend. Hehe, puns. James will never stop with the puns.

James usually opted for comfortable clothes like sweaters and hoodies and jeans. Nothing really fancy here for James. Just cozy clothes here! Sweater vests too! They look nice. But the two of them will need to wear something that they wouldn’t mind getting messy while picking berries and then baking a pie.

But they should get ready for the day and leave.

Knowing James, he’s going to be spoiling Regulus all summer long. Well, he spoils Reggie a lot but there’s no such thing as spoiling Reggie too much! Only the best for Regulus — the best for both of them. James is going to be making sure of that! And these two lovebirds have plenty of time to go on as many dates as they can before the summer ends. His nose wrinkled at the kiss on the nose but he certainly didn’t mind it! It was nice and cute. He couldn’t wait for the date to begin, he couldn’t wait to pick berries and bake a pie with Reggie. Summer is the best time to go berry picking while Autumn is best for apple picking, you know? Either way it’s going to be absolutely cute and amazing.

“You are absolutely so gorgeous, my sweetie.” James laughed, giving Regulus a big hug. Hehe, Reggie is always gorgeous! And James is head over hooves for his boyfriend. He hummed sweetly as he moved to give Reggie a small peck on the forehead.

A cute date in store for the two of them of course! “ Alright then my dear! Let’s go darlin’” He giggled with a wink. Beaming happily to his boyfriend! Following his boyfriend down the stairs holding is hand with a giggle. Waving towards Mr and Mrs Potter on their way out!
