the comedic relief side character
In a world that shuns people born different, where can you belong? When you feel every bit the monster you are labeled as, how can you open yourself up to accepting companionship?
Set in 1980s America, a group of older teenage "eaters", people born with the disturbing need to feed on other humans in order to survive, find companionship with each other where they previously believed to be alone. They embark on a 3,000-mile odyssey through the backroads of America in order to find what's been dubbed by some as "Eaterville", Wyoming. A place where they feel like they can truly belong. However, despite their best efforts, all roads lead back to their terrifying pasts. And just because you have something in common with someone doesn't mean they share the same moral compass...
- Just throwing an idea out there, so any interest/enthusiasm responses are greatly appreciated. : )
- DIVERSITY PLEASEEE. I would love for characters to be complex, flawed, and interesting.
- Though the movie is more centered around a love story, I'd prefer for this rp to be more focused around found family and acceptance. Romance can be a second focus.
- Always lgbtqia+ friendly
- Semi-literate preferred (at least 4 sentences per response).
- *Dark themes involving the morals of cannibalism, being abandoned by biological family, trauma coping strategies, prejudice, and self-acceptance are expected to be a part of this rp.*
