backstory : born to a single mother, miriam's home life wasn't always easy, as her mother was constantly working and leaving her alone, her younger brother always at school. eventually, her mother remarried a much wealthier man to help support herself and miriam. this man already had a son, and wanted a mother to help raise him, leaving miriam and her brother on the side, mostly forgotten. left to her own devices, miriam coped with a lack of parental figures through physical means, food, dating, it never quite filled the void, but it did more than her family did. having just graduated high school, miriam is currently directionless with her life, only doing small babysitting jobs to keep her parents from bothering her.
