Species: Half-Elf(?) or full Elf (it conflicts but I know she's at least an Elf)


Bio (Short/Long, who gives a shit?): she is part of the ragtag group of misfits and scroundrels known as Vox Machina. Based on the TV show (the campaign itself is too long to properly anaylize) she helped kill a dragon, and almost singlehandedly one-shot a powerful vampire by flat out SUMMONING THE SUN on his ass, only to almost die to his grieving wrathful wife an episode later.


Personality: She is actually very low-key, often staying in the background but when she is shown, she is often shown to be kind and compassionate, if a little accedient-prone (her spells tend to go either incrediably right, or horribly wrong - like when she burned a tree trying to communicate with it.). she doesn't seem to have a dark bone in her body, except when her friends are threatened. Otherwise she is pretty sweet.


Skills (Things that a normal human could train to become proficient in): Medicine and herbology (able to heal wounds with herbs in the wild)


Powers/Abilities (Things accredited to genes, unusual circumstances, and otherwise supernatural abilities): being a druid, she can commune with plants and animals, control vines and plants, and even control the earth to some degree, she can also turn into pretty any animal she wishes.


Weaknesses (If anything notable): no notable weaknesses outside the usual human fragility.

To clarify, Keyleth is a Half-Elf. I'd also like to know what specific point in Keyleth's history that you're pulling her from (I am assuming from somewhere within what the first season covers, but I would like an answer on this (and to reflect it in the CS)), as that will heavily influence the extent of her abilities (as well as various story beats that will inform her character in the RP). On that note, I would also like more details on the bio so her pre-continuity is more clear.

Bio:
The daughter of Tsar Nicholas II, who reigned as autocratic ruler of Russia during World War One. Due to a number of factors including Nicholas II's feckless handling of the war and the public's distrust of Grigori Rasputin, her family was overthrown by the Bolshevik faction during Red October and placed under house arrest in the city of Yekaterinberg in Siberia. A year later, the 17-year-old Anastasia was executed in secret along with the rest of her family by Bolshevik troops, and her death was obfuscated, likely to minimise political repercussions. The idea that the innocent and well-liked Anastasia might have escaped the execution captured the imaginations of many, and a few imposters presented themselves over the decades, but DNA testing in 2009 conclusively confirmed her remains and gravesite.

From her universe, the Romanova family were Magi who kept the terrible creature known as Viy as a familiar, primarily to spy and kill on their behalf. Anastasia made a contract with him in the moments before her death, whereupon he took the guise of her doll and eventually cursed her murderers.

Personality:
Fundamentally naive and innocent, but due a misanthropic disposition, she speaks in a dispassionate tone right after being summoned - a stage in which she still does not have faith in the Master. If one were to earn her trust, they will probably see her original lively, mischievous side. She left behind many pleasant episodes, such as taking her own picture by projecting the camera with a mirror... something that modern people would call a "selfie".

Anastasia is shown to have a bitter, cold disposition. She seems to call those who oppose her or her loved ones as Rats, "Powerless living things that could do nothing but gnaw and multiply". Her belief of the world is that it is "cruelly, terribly cold", and that those who consider the mild surroundings as 'cold', should be shown a true hell. Though she has shown to have some sense of small sympathy.

Skills:
Besides having the charisma as a princess and fondness to pull pranks, Anastasia doesn't have any particular skill she is good at since most of her abilities lies in Viy.

While she is summoned as a Servant, a diameter of a few meters around her functions as a Tsar territory. She can keep expanding this territory by combining this Skills with other Skills.

  A contract with Viy, a fairy who lives in Russian lands. Fairies are invisible, but Viy, the fairy contracted to the Romanov Dynasty, is special. He can let third parties see him and even use his powers. Another interpretation is that Viy, being a product of literature, doesn’t actually qualify as fairy.

  Mystic Eyes of Clairvoyance (D)
  Mystic Eyes that descended from Balor, in a different de-evolution line as the Mystic Eyes of Death Perception. Viy’s ability, not Anastasia’s power. It breaks down any Bounded Field and sometimes can even find a weakness in fortresses. Russian Tsars supposedly fought on sieges under extreme advantage due to receiving this ability from Viy.
  
  Charisma of Absolute Freeze (B)
  A special Charisma that circulates only among those of Tsar blood.
  
  Schwipsig (B)
  Anastasia’s past nickname (means “little imp”), while also one of Viy’s abilities. It makes all forms of minor impossibilities possible. It enables small prank-level Marble Phantasms, such as transferring what the opponent is holding to her own hands or opening a crack on the ground and getting the opponent’s foot stuck there. It’s quite the absurd ability, but it’s unable to cause any lethal damage.

  Viy Viy Viy: Dash - Spirit Eyeballs
  Full release of Viy's Mystic Eyes of Clairvoyance. The eyeballs that see through everything distort even the principle of causality to create a weak point.
  
  Sumerki Kremlin: Afterglow, Fortress of Abominable Blood
  A reproduction of the fortresses (kremlin, or kreml) that are scattered all over Russia. Having inherited the blood of emperors (Tsars), Anastasia can summon an extremely solid and magnificent fortress, employing it to defend herself. Furthermore, only those chosen by Anastasia can enter this castle. The entire fortress will swoop down on those not chosen, intruders.
  

Weaknesses:
Aside from the Servants' shared weakness of "no Master, no Mana, disappears" and hitting their Spirit Core, because of her ice related powers, of course anything to do with fire will work against her. Also, firearms due to how she died.​

After deliberating with the mods, I'm deciding not to give Anastasia a Master. Most (if not all) Servant characters in BIC will be self-sustaining so as to avoid complicating stories. So in that case...

A median build, for an adult male. Fit from his years in prison, though not athletic or superhuman. His strange, metal helmet remains on his head at all times.

Biography

The Xorn brothers were miracle children in the People's Republic, hidden away for the collective. Kuan-Yin made his way overseas through affairs unknown to him, until the X-Men liberated him from captivity. He went on to teach at the Xavier School to considerable acclaim, and he became one of its foremost mentors. Kuan-Yin applied his Eastern philosophy to his teachings, both in the classroom and within the greater community of New Salem. Through his efforts, he was able to lead a bridge-building initiative that brought man and mutant closer together in an approximation of harmony unlike anything he had ever known in his former home.

This fate was overly kind, and as such, was not to be. When Kuan-Yin arrived in Battleworld, the X-Men treated him not with warmth, but doubt. He knew nothing of the deception that the Master of Magnetism had set upon them in their past lives, nor of what had become of his self that they had known, limited though it may have been. Much like the rest of Battleworld, Kuan-Yin started life anew here, with new purpose. Mutant struggle here was not as he understood it, nor was it a singular movement. The diversity of superhuman strains humbled the man's sense of urgency, as did the ways in which discrimination persisted. Though Xorn has struggled to find a balance, he has reclaimed a place with the X-Men, and with the Xavier School for Gifted Youngsters. No matter who needs guidance, Xorn is ready to give it, be it the shield of knowledge, or the shelter of his celestial will.




Personality

Naturalistic. Zen. A love for life, and a drive to do anything to defend it... especially mutant life. These are the pillars of Kuan-Yin's persona, and how he interacts with the world around him. In spite of his estranged upbringing, he has maintained a remarkably serene ken, seldom (if ever) lashing out at anyone. When he acts, it is with solemn conviction and relentless impunity. Though Kuan-Yin is a man of community and health, he has no reservations on exercising his abilities to the fullest to suppress any threat to him or those he holds dear. In this respect, Xorn casts a wide net, hoping to encompass as many people as possible - if not all of Battleworld - as his brothers and sisters with whom he has kinship. Likewise, he will not abide charlatons nor bullies nor bigots wherever they may be found.


Powers and Abilities

Galaxy Brain

A miniature star in his skull that emits similar energies. This can manifest as the manipulation of gravity, electromagnetism, and bio-electricity in a wealth of applications, filtered through his helmet. The helmet is an extremely sophisticated apparatus, one built with reinforced rare earth metals and numerous psi-dampeners to keep his power in check and to guard against psychic attack. If used recklessly, or if the helmet becomes compromised, the star within Kuan-Yin's cranium may implode into a black hole. As this star affords Kuan-Yin power over celestial forces, so too does it make him self-sustaining in a vacuum. Borderline Omega-level.

After a series of misadventures, they stole. a ship and then met the famous smuggler Han Solo and then to put a longer story short, she was captured by Sith Acoylate Kylo Ren. Where she somehow disovered innate force powers, using them to set herself free. One thing leds to another, and a third death star is destroyed as well as Han Solo and she finds Luke Skywalker.

After a dismal training session with Luke Skywalker and discovering why Kylo Ren is the way he is, she goes to Kylo Ren to push him to the light side. Only to be trapped and sent to Snoke, who in his hubris, fails to forsee what Kylo Ren has planned and is literally sliced in half by his apprentice. they fight together for the first time, but Rey refuses his offer to join him and pretty much knicks the milenium falcon and books it off-screen. she then rescues the reminents of the resistance from the clutches of the First Order.

I will be taking Rey from the period of time between the Last Jedi and the Rise of Skywalker.


Personality: One would say she doesn't have a personality and one. would be wrong, she is kind, compassionate, everything a Jedi should be. But is ironically prone to bouts of frustration and anger if things go too far south.


Skills (Things that a normal human could train to become proficient in): Scavenging, engineering, lightsaber combat and piloting


Powers/Abilities (Things accredited to genes, unusual circumstances, and otherwise supernatural abilities): All abilities assiocated with the Force, however since the Rise of Skywalker, she has yet to learn Force Heal, and her primary force ability appears to be the ability to learn the history of any object she touches.


Weaknesses (If anything notable): As a Force-sensitive, she doesn't have the luxury of feeling any negative emotions like a normal person can, as that will eventually led to being consumed by the Dark Side.

Name: Ryougi Shiki

Garden of Sinners/Kara no Kyoukai​

Gender: Female


Species: Human


Bio: A young woman who spends her days listlessly wandering the streets at night, living her life aimlessly without any real purpose or goal other than a constant seeping desire from within to kill. She mostly spends her time working as a supernatural investigator and agent for Touko's Garan No Dou, taking on any jobs that require a bit of muscle due to her combat-oriented skills.

Personality:
Stand-off-ish, focused, ambiguous, cynical, and cold. A person who lives and acts on their feelings of the situation.

To say Shiki is odd is a bit of an understatement. Before a certain incident, Shiki possessed two personalities in her body. A male, and female personality. The male personality SHIKI being responsible for Shiki's violent and destructive tendencies, while Shiki herself was more feminine and demure to an extent. However, the death of the male personality ended up leaving a void inside of Shiki, causing her to feel as though she had lost herself. In order to fill this void, Shiki took on more masculine traits, using a coarser, blunt way of speaking, and referring to herself with male pronouns. Despite the disappearance of her male personality, the impulse and desire to kill remained, leaving Shiki uncertain about the way she may live.

Shiki's morality may come across as skewed. To her, murder, and slaughter are two different things. A person can only murder once in their lives. To her, killing a human comes at the cost of your own humanity. After that, you are no longer human. To kill afterward, again and again, is the act of slaughter. A mindless beast, or monster in her eyes. When it comes to people she meets, she separates them into categories of whether she can be with them, or not.


Skills:
Shiki was well trained to fight, spending years under the tutelage of her father. She is quite acrobatic, moving nimbly and quick to close in on her opponent, or to avoid their own attacks as well. Fighting seemingly comes naturally to her, almost like an automatic reflex that just lets her know what to do. With a sword, these senses are heightened to a better degree. Although she's mostly a fighter, Shiki is quite sharp when it comes to investigating, picking up clues just as fast as her significant other.


Powers/Abilities:
Shiki's defining ability is the Mystic Eyes of Death Perception. In concept, the eyes allow her to see the weak threads, or lines, of the world around her. Tracing along the lines with any object, from the sharpest knife to the dullest, to even her fingers, allows her to cut through them. Cutting or stabbing through a point allows her to sever its existence. As long as Shiki understands the existence and the death of the entity before her, she can kill it. For instance, an event set up in the future to happen can be seen by her as existing in a time and place, allowing her to kill that concept of a fixed future. Beings that are resistant to or have a different concept of death, entities without true forms, or phenomenons that are more random in nature are harder, or near impossible to kill. Despite her boastful claim of being capable of killing God, the idea of God is a being neither alive or dead, meaning she can do nothing to such a being. She is also, at the end of it all, a regular human being, if one that is stronger then most.


She also has a magical prosthetic left arm, which is quite durable enough that its creator stated it would take the force of an elephant to destroy it. It has the added trait of grabbing intangible objects like spirits from a distance. For the most part, Shiki uses it to store a second knife in its forearm.


Weaknesses: Despite her superhuman feats and her other-wise seemingly true claim to killing anything that exists, Shiki is still very human at the end. A well-placed gunshot can either incapacitate her or outright kill her. She can still be fatigued, and even if her eyes can see the weak fabric of the world, there are entities out there that either lack a concept of death, or have different levels/layers of death (basically different means of dying, such as having two existences, not being locked down in a certain timeframe, existing on another dimensional plane, yada yada) that she'd have to decipher.

She also likes strawberry ice cream, so that's a method into opening up her seemingly aloof cold front.

His primary suit is the "Mark 2" which he upgraded to be able to use a mode called "Stealth Mode." The black bag in which Tony wears holds his suit inside it. If he pushes the black circle on it the suit comes out and covers his body.


Personality: Tony Stark is extremely smart but he doesn't act like a know it all. He actually tends to be nice to people and talk with anyone who isn't an enemy on friendly terms. However, he doesn't just say anything to anyone what he talks about depends on the level of trust he has for the person.


Skills (Things that a normal human could train to become proficient in): Tony doesn't have a number of skills. His hand to hand combat is merely average and he tends to rely more on his suits power than his own skills. Tony is also capable of weapon making from trash such as turning a pipe into a sword of sorts.


Powers/Abilities (Things accredited to genes, unusual circumstances, and otherwise supernatural abilities): Tony's "abilities" can only be used when wearing the suit. He has "Repulsor Beam, Unibeam, and Stealth Mode."


Weaknesses (If anything notable): Though smart Tony also relies on his suits power to much which means once the suit is rendered useless so is he for the most part.

Bio: Jaden Yubel is a dueliest from Season 4 of Yu-gi-oh GX where in the Dark Relm in season 3 he fused his soul with Yubel. Jaden uses an Elemental Hero Deck.

Personality: Jaden is serious but friendly. He has a "Mission First" but rather than talk later he has a "Talk during mission" type of thing. Though he comes off distant Jaden is actually very happy to make new friends.

Skills: Not nessicarily a skill but Jaden does have major good luck. He seems to always draw the card needed. When needed most.

Powers:

• Supreme King: Jaden's eyes turn yellow and his "Energy" along with "Dueling Prowess" goes off the charts.

Bio: Natsuki Subaru is an ordinary young boy, a delinquent and High School dropout with almost no motivation for life. Through circumstances that seem to nod and lead him into certain directions, he has become involved in matters surrounding a certain Half-Elf and her candidacy for the throne of Lugnica.


Personality: While Subaru tends to not read the situations he encounters, ultimately leading him to make irrational decisions, he is loyal to those he holds dear, willing to help them, even if that means taking the thorny path. He has his resolve confirmed through the many situations and circumstances he faces in the fantasy world, originally having been one to always take the 'easy' route. As a shut-in NEET, he is hopeful of the possibilities that being sucked into a new realm brings, but later realizes the realities of the predicament he is in. Eventually, he resolves himself to be faithful and protective of the ones that he cares most about.


Beneath his eccentric demeanor, however, Subaru is actually a very insecure person suffering from a severe inferiority complex due to growing up in his father's shadow. This also caused him to develop a fundamental misunderstanding of relationships where he believed he would be abandoned if he wasn't the center-of-attention. Even his otaku-tendencies were really just another method he used to stand out. Ironically, though, these desperate attempts to connect to others only caused him to make a fool of himself and push others away. It wasn't until he was transported to Lugnica that Subaru finally met people who accept him for who he is and he began learning how to build genuine relations.


Skills: For a shut-in Otaku Neet, Subaru is quite athletic and fit to an extent, thanks to his own Father's efforts no less. Despite his questionable decision-making which can end disastrously, there are moments where Subaru can have a flash of genius, either from working with what he has or just going by on instinct.


Powers/Abilities : Subaru's main ability (or curse more of) is the ability to Return By Death. Normally, this would set a point in time that he'd rewind back to upon dying, resetting time all the way back along with all the memories of a future that he had lived and died in. However, due to tampering, this ability has been modified to rather bring and resurrect him back to life. Along with this, he has the Authority of Sloth, which gives in a single invisible hand to use and manipulate. Usage of this hand though can backfire on him, damaging his internals, burning his soul, and even causing him to cough blood, with repeated usage increasing the backlash.


Weaknesses: Subaru is a normal young man. Despite the front he puts up, he can cave in mentally and break down hard, taking some time to motivate or recover even. He's also prone to making rash decisions, and despite the damage done to his psyche and mentality, forces himself to die again and again if it means saving everyone.

Name: Ryougi Shiki

Garden of Sinners/Kara no Kyoukai​

Bio: A young woman who spends her days listlessly wandering the streets at night, living her life aimlessly without any real purpose or goal other than a constant seeping desire from within to kill. She mostly spends her time working as a supernatural investigator and agent for Touko's Garan No Dou, taking on any jobs that require a bit of muscle due to her combat-oriented skills.

Personality:
Stand-off-ish, focused, ambiguous, cynical, and cold. A person who lives and acts on their feelings of the situation.

To say Shiki is odd is a bit of an understatement. Before a certain incident, Shiki possessed two personalities in her body. A male, and female personality. The male personality SHIKI being responsible for Shiki's violent and destructive tendencies, while Shiki herself was more feminine and demure to an extent. However, the death of the male personality ended up leaving a void inside of Shiki, causing her to feel as though she had lost herself. In order to fill this void, Shiki took on more masculine traits, using a coarser, blunt way of speaking, and referring to herself with male pronouns. Despite the disappearance of her male personality, the impulse and desire to kill remained, leaving Shiki uncertain about the way she may live.

Shiki's morality may come across as skewed. To her, murder, and slaughter are two different things. A person can only murder once in their lives. To her, killing a human comes at the cost of your own humanity. After that, you are no longer human. To kill afterward, again and again, is the act of slaughter. A mindless beast, or monster in her eyes. When it comes to people she meets, she separates them into categories of whether she can be with them, or not.


Skills:
Shiki was well trained to fight, spending years under the tutelage of her father. She is quite acrobatic, moving nimbly and quick to close in on her opponent, or to avoid their own attacks as well. Fighting seemingly comes naturally to her, almost like an automatic reflex that just lets her know what to do. With a sword, these senses are heightened to a better degree. Although she's mostly a fighter, Shiki is quite sharp when it comes to investigating, picking up clues just as fast as her significant other.


Powers/Abilities:
Shiki's defining ability is the Mystic Eyes of Death Perception. In concept, the eyes allow her to see the weak threads, or lines, of the world around her. Tracing along the lines with any object, from the sharpest knife to the dullest, to even her fingers, allows her to cut through them. Cutting or stabbing through a point allows her to sever its existence. As long as Shiki understands the existence and the death of the entity before her, she can kill it. For instance, an event set up in the future to happen can be seen by her as existing in a time and place, allowing her to kill that concept of a fixed future. Beings that are resistant to or have a different concept of death, entities without true forms, or phenomenons that are more random in nature are harder, or near impossible to kill. Despite her boastful claim of being capable of killing God, the idea of God is a being neither alive or dead, meaning she can do nothing to such a being. She is also, at the end of it all, a regular human being, if one that is stronger then most.


She also has a magical prosthetic left arm, which is quite durable enough that its creator stated it would take the force of an elephant to destroy it. It has the added trait of grabbing intangible objects like spirits from a distance. For the most part, Shiki uses it to store a second knife in its forearm.


Weaknesses: Despite her superhuman feats and her other-wise seemingly true claim to killing anything that exists, Shiki is still very human at the end. A well-placed gunshot can either incapacitate her or outright kill her. She can still be fatigued, and even if her eyes can see the weak fabric of the world, there are entities out there that either lack a concept of death, or have different levels/layers of death (basically different means of dying, such as having two existences, not being locked down in a certain timeframe, existing on another dimensional plane, yada yada) that she'd have to decipher.

She also likes strawberry ice cream, so that's a method into opening up her seemingly aloof cold front.

  The Kiramman household shares a long history with Piltover, long before it had fallen under the Canopy during the merging of the worlds. This ranged from their generations of service to the nation in several departments to holding one of the first seats on the Piltover Council. Caitlyn took to this environment, to a point. She was earnest, insightful, and most importantly for her parents, proper. She did all that was asked of her, without asking questions herself. Caitlyn understood that this new world outside of hers was dangerous. Worse, that it was unpredictable. Such things had no place in a lady’s mind, and certainly not a Kiramman’s. And yet, she frequently ventured outside of those barriers, unable to completely suppress that part of herself. Caitlyn’s curiosity was easily her greatest virtue, though also her greatest weakness. She was wholly unafraid to learn whatever she could, as much as she could, away from the prying eyes of her anxious parents. This academic rigor only made it easier for Caitlyn to apply for formal learning at an early age, far ahead of what a girl her age ought to be ready for.
  
  Caitlyn attended the Academy of Progress throughout her adolescence, to surprisingly little fanfare or extracurricular on her part. Even though it was far from her interests, Caitlyn knew how to rub elbows and even make friends, much to the appreciation of her mother, Cassandra Kiramman. It would not do for the daughter of a Councillor to neglect such duties, even as a student. Her class was a rather fateful collection of nobles and rising stars not only from Piltover, but throughout the Canopy Kingdom: There was of course Parasoul Renoir, heiress-to-be of the Canopy Kingdom, and the VIP of the Academy during her time there; Jayce Talis, a boyish scholar obsessed with the arcane taboo, and who would one day become a trailblazing member of the Council; Asami Sato, heiress of Sato Industries, arguably the definitive industrial power in the upper city and in the Canopy Kingdom abroad; Monet St Croix, esteemed mutant prodigy and bearing noble status rivaling that of House Kiramman; and, last but not least, there were the assorted nobles of Faerghus. The esteemed realm of the Blue Lions had recently become besieged by the Canopy Kingdom over matters beyond Caitlyn’s reckoning, and the progeny of the noble houses of Faerghus that submitted to Renoir rule - House Fraldarius, House Gautier, House Dominic, and House Galatea - rather than join Dimitri’s rebellion were relegated to the Academy of Progress, where they might find their place within their new home. The matters within which her peers were involved, especially those of Faerghus, weighed on Caitlyn. How could she worry about what was going on within Piltover when there was so much more happening outside of its borders, and so much injustice at that?
  
  Fortunately for Caitlyn, this anxiety went hand-in-hand with the relationships that she built with these people during her time at the Academy. Up to this point, Caitlyn was not a social sort, often eschewing parties and outings in favor of her personal mission. Parasoul and Asami, among others, quickly saw to correcting that. Caitlyn opened up a great deal through her time with them, and the three of them became fast friends. She spent time with the rest of her class to an extent, though many of these interactions weren’t exactly on friendly terms. Among the Faerghus nobles, Sylvain was by far the worst. She was frequently the target of his skirt-chasing, some of which nearly ended in Caitlyn blowing the boy’s stupid head clean off during marksman practice. Jayce’s habits mirrored Caitlyn’s, as he stubbornly dodged other people to pursue his research in solitude. In a way, Jayce’s standoffishness posed a useful reminder of why Caitlyn was here in the first place. Monet was the worst of it, though. They constantly competed with one another, and to this day, Caitlyn can’t recall what it was that had set Monet against her. Perhaps it was simply in the girl’s nature to be competitive, or perhaps even her genes. Caitlyn never quite understood mutants, and given her brief time around Monet, she did not care to learn. These experiences tempered Caitlyn’s expectations, of herself and of the world that lay beyond Piltover’s walls. Though Battleworld’s affairs were daunting, Caitlyn knew, now more than ever, that she was needed here, in the City of Progress. No less would let her sleep at night.
  
  Moreover, attending the Academy of Progress allowed Caitlyn to pursue her ambitions to lengths that she never could from the confines of her family estate. Those ambitions were creating everlasting change for Piltover, for the better. Not unlike Jayce, Caitlyn had taken note of the dismal state of affairs, particularly when it came to Piltover’s sorry excuse for a justice system. The then-leader of the Black Egrets was brutal, cruel, and worst of all, associating themselves with Silco and the chem barons who would see the upper city burned to the ground. Over the course of her time at the Academy, Caitlyn primarily devoted her time to untangling the grand conspiracy that was unfolding before her very eyes. Her parents did not find out, at first. Caitlyn was careful, making sure to limit herself to the family library, where her snooping on the taboo could not be so easily rooted out. Over time, however, particularly as the social tensions between the city above and the slums below became more severe, Caitlyn’s fascinations became much more than that, and her caution respectively withdrew. When her mother discovered some of Caitlyn’s notes that she had mistakenly left in her room during a visit back home, she denounced her daughter’s action with impunity, and withdrew her from the Academy, depriving her of the institution’s vast resources. Caitlyn had always kept her parents at an arms’ length before, but this crossed a line that would only further the divide between them. Whether thankfully or not, it would not be the last time that Caitlyn would see her former classmates. Their fates were intrinsically tied to that of the city.
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  From that point onward, Caitlyn was to be homeschooled by her mother. Having married into the matrilineal Kirammans, her father did not have much influence or standing, and where he did, he typically sided with her mother. Caitlyn stifled under this new environment, though she was no less determined to continue going down the path that she had chosen. No matter how many times her mother tried to destroy her research or talk her out of it, Caitlyn remained dead-set on getting to the bottom of things. Worse, she began to wonder if the reason that her mother was trying so desperately to stop her was because she was complicit in Silco’s schemes. Though her mother insisted that her only concern was her daughter’s safety in such a dangerous time, Caitlyn struggled to see the sincerity in her words. The familial tension eventually reached a tipping point. Though she had called the estate home all her life, Caitlyn could not stay cooped up under that roof for the rest of her days. No doubt motivated in large part by spite, Caitlyn joined the Black Egrets, the martial authority of Piltover and security detail for the royal family. For Cassandra, this was the ultimate betrayal, humiliating the family reputation as well as spitting in the face of her authority as the head of the house. For Caitlyn, it was the next logical step. Getting closer to the heart of Piltover’s corruption would bring her closer to the secrets she needed to bring it crumbling down; embarrassing her mother was just a bonus.
  
  It didn’t take long for Caitlyn to run up against the system that she expected to find. It was no secret that the Black Egrets were full of limp-wristed pushovers, Medici men, war criminals, and worse, to say nothing of its leader. To add insult to injury, little was done to conceal these facts. It made it all the more infuriating that these people acted so brazenly against their so-called principles as officers of the law. Growing up in her sheltered estate, Caitlyn was raised to believe that joining the Egrets was one of the highest honors in the Canopy Kingdom. At one time, that might have been the case, though such a day was long behind them. She tolerated this environment only so that she could continue to work within this system to expose these people. They did not make it easy for her; Caitlyn was only ever assigned lowly duties, routine watches that would keep her well away from the affairs of their benefactors… according to the system, anyway. Much like her time at the Academy as well as under her mother’s nose, Caitlyn went outside the bounds of the law when she could afford to pursue leads on her own terms. It never gave her comfort, having to exploit the system she was trying to uphold, even if at the time it was something that she wanted to overthrow. The last thing she wanted was to become more like the undercity. As much as she detested the state of Piltover’s system of justice, she knew that the chem barons and the rest of Piltover’s criminal underworld was just as much of a threat to the city’s way of life.
  
  That threat reared its ugly head on one of those nothing duties. A massive explosion down at the skyport demanded Caitlyn’s attention, even though her assignment was on the opposite end of the district. She knew that this was no ordinary incident, with the Egrets or the undercity. It proved to be the latter, and exceptionally so at that. There had been a vicious firefight aboard one of the docked airships, and clearly with material that had no right being there. Strangely, the Egrets didn’t seem to be involved at all. Judging from the remains, it was a skirmish between Silco’s thugs and some other group (a gang that she would later learn to be the anarchist Firelights), though the untimely arrival of her superiors prevented her from investigating it further. Though Caitlyn didn’t have much time at the scene of the crime, her instincts told her that this was only the beginning of something more. The tensions between above and below had only intensified in the years since Piltover had joined Battleworld, though this was the first sign of true escalation. That escalation intensified a couple nights later, when, on yet another bottom-barrel watch duty, she glimpsed a fire at the academic research building that her unit was watching over. While the rest of the snobbish officers with her told her to stay put, that hesitation saved her life. Moments later, several high-intensity explosions rocked the building, bringing it crumbling down on everyone inside. Whether they were good or bad people, it didn’t matter now. They were dead, and Caitlyn was more alone in the world for it.
  
  Surprisingly, Caitlyn was left alone in the aftermath of the incident, possibly because Sheriff Walker had much bigger problems to worry about in the face of this terrorist attack. From how he reacted to the news, he hadn’t expected it at all. This freedom allowed her to pursue these new leads with renewed optimism for the truth. Likewise, Jayce, who was a councilor of the city now, was up to his neck in bureaucracy. In the wake of the attack, the capstone of the past several years of his and Viktor’s work, the Hex Stone, had gone missing. No doubt whomever from the undercity that had staged the attack now had it in their possession, and was doing who knows what with it. Despite the political fallout of the situation, he was able to grant Caitlyn a favor in exchange for all the times she had bailed him out during their schoolyard years. Caitlyn had beaten out gotten a report from one of Walker’s subordinates, detailing the tragic Shimmer incident that had taken place at the undercity docks several years prior: one of the few survivors had been apprehended by Captain Walker shortly afterward and detained at Stillwater Prison. Whoever that prisoner was had an idea of what was going on; after all, the weapons from that same incident was highly similar to the burn marks evident at the airship shootout, and even the academy bombing, and other attacks that had been made, all in so short a time. The two were inexplicably connected. This was the closest Caitlyn had ever come to a breakthrough.
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  Using Jayce’s authority, Caitlyn bought an audience with the prisoner, who was ostensibly responsible for cutting off a few of the leads that she had gotten earlier, by way of pummeling them into the infirmary. Caitlyn knew that she was getting in way over her head, but she couldn’t turn back now. The prisoner was a woman who only called herself Vi. The two could not be more different from each other; Vi was an orphan of the undercity, someone who had had to fight for everything she needed to survive, who had lost everyone she loved dear. She had suffered on both sides, from the tyranny of the Black Egrets to the ruthlessness of Silco and the criminal elite. Caitlyn… hadn’t. She still had a massive chip on her shoulder, not only from how her mother had coddled her, but also for the great privileges she had enjoyed as the best and brightest of the academy. Even though Caitlyn had been working tirelessly to cure Piltover of its ills, she had remained just as ignorant to the perspectives of others, who had suffered far more than she could even imagine. It was a humbling experience working with Vi to say the least, in a variety of ways. She was rather easy on the eyes, and Vi was quick to recognize how Caitlyn stared at her, and took many opportunities to embarrass her “cupcake” while they were out on the town. There was a push and pull with their partnership, with Vi needing to allow herself to trust others, and Caitlyn in turn needing to broaden her horizons.
  
  As they explored the undercity, to Caitlyn’s horror and Vi’s vindication, the reality of the undercity was laid bare for the former. The chem barons were far from the only force bearing down on its people, nor the Black Egrets. There were many other groups, some of whom Caitlyn recognized among her peers at the academy. While exploring one of Silco’s primary Shimmer production facilities for a lead on a girl Vi called “Powder”, they stumbled onto a meeting between Silco and Hiroshi Sato of all people. Sato Industries had made a devil’s bargain with Silco’s empire: Asami’s father was supplying him with cutting-edge industry in exchange for targeted attacks against Sato’s rivals in the overcity to accelerate his monopoly. Whomever had been making attacks on Piltover was just the tip of the iceberg. It was clear that this two-pronged operation was responsible for the tension coming to a head. Vi elaborated that these dealings were not recent, either; as far back as five years ago, Hiroshi Sato had been doing whatever he could to make waves in the undercity, though this was mostly ineffective while Magnus* (Vi’s foster father) was presiding as a mediator among the various gangs. After his passing, Silco gladly welcomed Sato into the fold. These developments (along with whatever else was going on) explained why Sheriff Walker had been so distracted, if he wasn’t somehow involved with this entire racket himself. However, this revelation was not nearly as shocking for Caitlyn as it was for Asami, who had snuck away to try to learn what her father was really up to with the family business. Vi nearly killed Asami then and there purely out of association to her father, though the untimely arrival of (Silco’s enforcer) nearly brought Vi to her knees. If not for Caitlyn arriving with her marksmanship, that moment of revenge might have had a gruesome ending. The two of them barely escaped from that scene. Caitlyn just hoped that if she ever saw Asami again, they could forgive each other.
  
  Caitlyn’s straightforward conspiracy only became more tangled as they got closer to what they were looking for., Each time they needed to move on after discovering yet another atrocity, and barely escaping with their lives after a fashion, Caitlyn’s heart sank. She did not know if she knew her city at all, if so many terrible things went on in Piltover as if nothing was wrong. It was enough for her to keep on fighting through the undercity to somehow bring an end to this. This “Powder”, who seemed to be Vi’s sister, was also at the heart of many of the things that they were investigating. Most of the information that they got ran contrary to what Vi insisted was the case. Powder was one of the other survivors of the dock incident, though it seemed that she had changed far more than Vi had, and for the worse at that. Caitlyn didn’t have the heart to tell Vi that she shared the opinion of the people who knew this “Jinx”, who was almost certainly the one who had bombed the building that had killed so many of Caitlyn’s fellow Egrets. That also meant that Jinx was the one who had stolen the Hex Stone, and was no doubt making some kind of doomsday weapon to destroy the upper city. Vi didn’t care about any of that. She was more interested in saving the sister that he still thought existed. The confrontation went even worse than Caitlyn expected. Not only did Jinx attack them after believing that Vi had betrayed her by being in the company of a Black Egret, the Firelighters arrived, making off not only with the Hex Stone, but also kidnapping Vi and Caitlyn too.
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  Much of what happened afterward was scarce in Caitlyn’s memory. She knew that the Firelighters had kidnapped them, and was likely using the Hex Stone for themselves. Neither of these things were entirely the case, though what was true was that she and Vi were returning to the upper city to report to the Council with their findings, including a young boy Ekko, the leader of the Firelighters, with the Hex Stone. If they could bring genuine voices from the undercity before the Council, and with the Hex Stone at that, Caitlyn was certain that they would be able to find a path to peace. Those hopes were dashed at the Great Bridge. Sheriff Walker had finished marshaling the Black Egrets, and was marching on the undercity to purge them of any and all dissidents to his order. Ekko’s Firelights had other ideas. Hundreds of the signature insects descended upon the Egrets, resulting in a cascade of high-grade demolitions that tore everything apart. Nothing was left of the Egrets. Walker was nowhere to be found, if he wasn’t among the shrapnel. Jinx used this opportunity to jump the three of them while they were still recovering, including shooting Caitlyn in the gut. Ekko told Vi and Caitlyn to run, and they did. It wasn’t until much later that Caitlyn learned that Ekko nor the Hex Stone ever made it across the bridge. Whether he survived the fight with Jinx is unclear, but given what eventually followed, he clearly didn’t win.
  
  After everything that had happened in the undercity, Caitlyn and Vi had a brief reprieve to simply be with each other. After sneaking into her bedroom, they were able to rest for a little while. During that time, Vi was impressed with how sophisticated Caitlyn’s research was, especially considering that she did all of this herself, with no help from anyone. Though the two of them were like oil and water, they couldn’t deny that there was a spark between them. They would do anything to protect the city that they loved. Cassandra, on the other hand, had other ideas. Caitlyn managed to convince her to allow her and Vi an audience with the council as one final favor to her. The very least she owed to Cassandra and the rest of Piltover’s leadership was an explanation.
  
  Had Caitlyn known what they were going to walk into, she would have skipped the meeting altogether. It was clear from the beginning that the Council had already made up its mind. To make matters worse, the Royal Family of Canopy was attending personally. The streak of chaos and mayhem within the crown jewel of their kingdom had finally drawn the eye of the Royal Family, who was there, including Parasoul and the Black Egrets who had not been lost at the bridge. Jayce would not hear their pleas, either; he had made up his mind about Silco and his people. There could only be war between them. Caitlyn’s pleas for peace fell on deaf ears. Heimerdinger’s vacant seat only filled her with further dread. What had happened while she was gone? Only one thing from that meeting mattered to Vi: Jayce, along with the Royal Family, were finally deciding to take action against Silco. The councilors that didn’t side with them were summarily dismissed by the Royal Family. They, save for Parasoul, remarked that it had clearly been a mistake to afford democracy to the City of Progress. As Caitlyn stormed out after Vi, she couldn’t look her mother in the eye. The feeling wasn’t mutual.
  
  
  
  Caitlyn begged Vi not to go with Jayce on his suicide mission into the Undercity, though she would hear none of it. That part of her had not changed since they met, and it was not likely to ever change. It was like they said: “We’re oil and water.” Those were the last words Vi said to Caitlyn before she left, and Caitlyn couldn’t find it in her to follow after her this time. Dejected, Caitlyn returned to her estate to wash away her grief. With her guard down, it was a matter of course for Jinx to kidnap her. Jinx tormented Caitlyn in her hideout, intent on breaking - in Jinx’s mind - her greatest enemy to being together with her sister again. She nearly succeeded, if not for the fact that Jinx caught up with Vi earlier than anticipated. Caitlyn’s recollection of that night is a traumatic blur, though there are three things that she remembers vividly: Jinx murdering Silco with her minigun, Vi saving Caitlyn from that place… and Jinx attacking the Council building with her Hextech Missile.
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  Scarcely anyone among the Council survived the attack. Caitlyn’s mother was not among them, nor her father. Newly orphaned, Caitlyn only had Vi and Jayce to turn to as friends… speaking candidly, she only had Vi. Jayce had doubled down on his hardline stance against the undercity, going so far as to dissolve what remained of the Piltover Council at the behest of the Royal Family. Furthermore, as the newly appointed mayor of the city he promptly placed Caitlyn, Vi, and everyone else that was involved in this string of events under arrest. Caitlyn almost surrendered herself out of exhaustion for one trauma after the other, though Vi convinced her to take a stand. This act of defiance moved her friend Parasoul, however. She granted amnesty to Caitlyn and Vi, going so far as to invite them to join the new Black Egrets and help her build a better future for this troubled kingdom. Caitlyn agreed immediately. This was exactly what she had been hoping for all this time, and exactly what she needed. Vi, on the other hand, was… reluctant, to say the least. Though the bond that Caitlyn had developed with Vi over the past few weeks was not something that would be broken so easily, she couldn’t bring herself to join Caitlyn in serving the very people responsible for allowing this to happen in the first place. In spite of their differences, the two promised to keep in touch with each other.
  
  Life did not necessarily become easier for Caitlyn. As the new Sheriff of Piltover, Caitlyn had a great deal of responsibility on her hands. Though she was obligated to report to Jayce, loathe as he had become, Caitlyn had become one of the most powerful figures in the city overnight. The chokehold of Walker’s regime was still very much in place, and thus it was up to Caitlyn to perform numerous duties beyond the herculean task of reforming the city’s justice system. Heimerdinger was nowhere to be found. Viktor was missing, presumed dead. Madarda had secluded herself, no longer holding the prestige of Councillor. Caitlyn was the person people went to with their woes, ill-equipped as she was to address them. Whether she liked it or not, Caitlyn was the unofficial face of Piltover during this period of rebuilding. Jayce, of course, was the official poster child. He towed the line with the Renoir dynasty, careful in presenting himself as the man who carried Piltover on his shoulders through the crisis. Though Caitlyn never cared for politics, it was yet another sign that he was no longer the bright-eyed engineer that she had known in school. He was completely taken in with power, not the least of which was his reinstitution of the Talis Forge, now with the full sponsorship of the Royal Family. The lowly hammer makers had come a long way from their humble beginnings, now acting as the fully industrialized arm of the Renoir war machine. Piltover deserved better, and though Caitlyn knew that she was not the person they needed, she did what she could to help. As far as many people in Piltover were concerned, she was the leader people went to to solve problems. After all, her town halls were the ones that people bothered to attend rather than that of the so-called “Hammer of Progress”. She took a small degree of pride in that.
  
  The City of Progress had more than its share of problems. Even after the threat of Silco was gone, his legacy had only become stronger than ever. Prior to his demise, Silco’s negotiations with Jayce amounted to the Council (and now, the Royal Family) recognizing the undercity as its own nation: the nation of Zaun. Caitlyn learned enough about it through her work in cleaning up Piltover, particularly in how she and her Egrets were forbidden from entering Zaun, even if it was in the name of the law that Jayce seemed so intent on upholding. Although Caitlyn had come into the job that she had dreamed of since she was a child, she was utterly miserable. She wasn’t alone in that feeling. Asami Sato was in a situation much like Caitlyn, struggling to reform her father’s vile company and the reputation of her family name after everything he had done. Yet again, Vi seemed to have the right of things. The ironclad rule of authority remained indifferent to change. Thankfully, Parasoul eventually took notice of her distress, and opted to bring her along as her personal bodyguard while traveling abroad as the representative of the Canopy Kingdom. Parasoul kept interesting company, and yet more interesting business that Caitlyn became involved in. Chief among this business was her dealings with a security company known as Maverick. In spite of their involvement in the dirty business of mercenaries, they seemed a good sort to Caitlyn, especially when she learned that little Annette was their latest employee. It was a relief to reminisce with her, and more importantly, to see that at least one of her friends had found a better life after the Academy. Ingrid, too, was a part of Parasoul’s new Black Egrets, and Felix had entered into a special military training program, though Annette had heard from him a couple times. Sylvain… well, it was Sylvain. Caitlyn could only imagine.
  
  
  
  
  
  Parasoul’s work with Maverick was a silver lining amid Caitlyn’s doubts. There were still people who cared, and they were working towards a better future, in spite of it all. Her Black Egrets and Maverick frequently worked side by side to help ease tensions between the Canopy Kingdom and other nations, acting as ambassadors on the behalf of her less than savory family. It was often difficult, weathering that line, but Caitlyn knew that she was doing this for the right things, and she knew that the rest of this team was too. The presence of Umbrella, Parasoul’s precocious baby sister, helped ease things too, a reminder of that childlike wonder that they needed to protect. The most pleasant surprise of them all, however, was a mechanized dog that Annette had given to Caitlyn as a parting gift. He was an IF Prototype LQ-84i model, apparently, one originally designed for the brutality of war. Annette recovered him during one of their missions, and reprogrammed him to be a kinder, gentler sort… though no less deadly. Vi took to him immediately when Caitlyn showed him to her during one of her visits, going completely past Caitlyn’s carefully selected name to instead call him Blade Wolf. The name stuck.
  
  With that, Caitlyn gladly left her life in Piltover behind her. She did not envy whoever would take the stained honor of Sheriff in her place. Though it pained her to leave, she knew that it was the right thing to do: for her, and for that city with which she had developed a complex relationship. One day she longed to return to see what all her hard work has wrought… and hopefully for the better. Caitlyn has been ever close at Parasoul’s side, always ready to “take the shot” as the eponymous Black Egret.

  In a word, Caitlyn Kiramman is determined. She is a rare sort in Piltover, a woman who genuinely believes in the system of justice that she works to uphold. Her high-minded background fostered a faith in authority and the status quo that borders on naivety, tempered only by her experiences in the Silco Crisis. In spite of those hardships, Caitlyn remains resolute in her beliefs of equality and prosperity, and is unafraid to let her voice be heard, least of all now. She is rather personable with others, having conquered her nerves under her mother’s watchful eye. Caitlyn is direct in her approach, getting straight to the point with people, albeit rather formally. Caitlyn speaks with a posh British accent, and still struggles understanding what she indelicately calls “lower dialects”.
  
  When it comes to her work, Caitlyn is deadly serious. All of her mother’s years of coddling the girl against the world did little to sway her stomach from the difficult work that she was determined to confront. This is not to say that Caitlyn didn’t have rosy expectations, then or even now. She continues to hope for a better world, and constantly works towards making that hope a reality. She is both iron-willed and woefully unprepared for difficult realities beyond her ivory upbringing. Corruption and cruelty is something that Caitlyn has recognized from an early age, and she won’t shy away from such things.
  
  In spite of her dreams for a better Piltover, Caitlyn’s time with Vi was the first window she had into the grisly underbelly of her home. More to the point, Caitlyn has retained much of her ingrained privilege as a highborn daughter. She will often get trapped in her upper-class background, having great difficulty understanding many things that people poorer than her family have to go through, such as affording food or not having any time outside of their livelihood. Unlearning the hostile behavior of her upbringing will be an ongoing process for Caitlyn for years to come, and may not even get that far. By this point in her life, Caitlyn finds herself more and more set in her ways, and while she is actively aware that she remains distant from Vi in this regard, she finds herself increasingly despondent with her inability to, as she often puts it, “fix herself”. Such is the human condition.

  Leadership
  Caitlyn is a leader not by training, but by demand. During the Silco Crisis, Caitlyn was among the few in Piltover who took matters into her own hands. This initiative carried over in the following years, to Caitlyn’s satisfaction and the city’s relief. Caitlyn is a reliable quantity, even to those who are unfamiliar with her. Her leadership skills are multifaceted as well, and may be applied broadly, from police management to military tactics to deftly maneuvering social spaces.
  
  Athleticism
  Needless to say, Cathlete is a skilled athlete. She can traverse the complex urban landscapes of Piltover and Zaun with ease, and has outran and outmaneuvered opponents much older and stronger than her. Caitlyn’s training under the Black Egrets has only improved her physical acumen, including an affinity for several martial arts to help give her an edge against opponents that manage to get in close.
  
  Detective
  While Caitlyn’s forensic skills during the Silco Crisis were largely without experience, she proved herself to be an uncanny detectie from an early age; if not from her sprawling conspiracy web that she organized in her room, then from her ability to root out the corruption within the Enforcers. She has a sharp eye outside of her scope, and it is hard to put anything past her, physically or socially.
  
  Marksmanship
  Caitlyn’s signature skill is her affinity with firearms. When she was a student at the Academy of Progress, Caitlyn had already shattered records among the Canopy military. By the time she was blossoming into adulthood, she could shoot a Zaunite between the eyes from five hundred yards. Now that she is the Black Egret, with the best training and equipment that Renoir money can buy, she is (barring superhuman acumen) one of the best marksmen in Battleworld.
  
  Mortality
  Caitlyn is an ordinary human. She shares the limits and vulnerabilities that all humans share, from age to standard fatigue to susceptibility to disease and decay and everything else that eventually brings them low.
  
  Morality
  Chief among Caitlyn’s human faults are her emotions, particularly her moral system. She is a highly principled person, and a rather altruistic one at that. She is willing to do everything in her power to protect others, to a dangerously naive extent. While she has learned from some of her mistakes in the past, Caitlyn is rather easy to manipulate in accordance with her righteous idealism. While Caitlyn may be aware of how her hand is being forced, that is often insufficient to keep her from acting recklessly, so long as it means that she is living by her principles, lofty as they are.

  Caitlyn maintains many outfits, from her academy days to her time as an Enforcer to when she set off on her own with Vi during the Silco Crisis. Nowadays, she primarily wears the pristine black-and-gold uniform of the Black Egrets, sporting some of the finest protection that the Renoir family can offer. As Caitlyn is the leader of the unit, her uniform is slightly different, particularly in how she sports a beret rather than the eerie visage of their helmets, as well as her armor design allowing for more maneuverability than the rest of the Enforcers.
  
  Rifle
  The rifle that Caitlyn had used ever since she was a child was a casualty of the Silco Crisis, when she was forced to surrender it as collateral in the undercity in exchange for Shimmer that would save Vi’s life. Caitlyn has since been refitted by the Black Egrets’ armory. Her new rifle is a state-of-the-art modular sniping rifle, with dozens of adaptable components to grant her the best possible armament to suit the situation. High-Frequency rounds, Dust slugs, electromagnetic tracers, and Hextech modules are but a few of the resources at Caitlyn’s disposal, all accessible on her person while out in the field. Caitlyn has been shown to singlehandedly cripple an enemy armored company, to say nothing of her exploits during the Silco Crisis.
  
  Royal Accessory
  In addition to her new cutting-edge equipment as the Black Egret, Caitlyn has (with Parasoul’s permission) access to the royal armory, which goes far beyond anything that she would have access to as the Sheriff of Piltover. This includes funds to account for any expenses that may come up during her work, such as transportation, false identities, advanced medical supplies, in addition to advanced weaponry that Caitlyn does not normally carry on her person.

Born in Portland, Oregon, Alex was raised by an emotionally distant father and a mother who died when she was ten. Following her mother's death, her father left her and her brother Gabe in foster care, where they drifted for several years until they were separated when she was 14. She then drifted between various group homes and foster parents, getting into fights and learning to fend for herself on the way.

Upon making contact with Gabe once again, she found herself in Haven Springs, Colorado where she reunited with Gabe for a day until tragedy struck and he was killed in a mining accident. She spent the rest of her time in the town uncovering its mysteries and solving its various problems. As she did this, she eventually came to terms with her father's abandonment and the loss of her brother.

Personality:

To most people, at first, Alex appears shy and sensitive. However, those that make the effort to communicate will find her friendly, kind, and approachable with a tendency to put others in front of herself. Once she begins to open up, people find a sharp, witty, and observant young woman who pushes her own emotions to the back to help serve others, even getting into fights for those she cares about. She is also open and honest about her abilities.

She often gets overpowered by negative emotions such as sadness, fear, or anger.

Powers/Abilities (Things accredited to genes, unusual circumstances, and otherwise supernatural abilities):

Alex is an empath in the most literal sense, as she can literally see and feel the emotions of the people around her. They manifest as "auras" of different colors depending on the emotion. These colors are purple representing fear, red representing anger, blue representing sadness, and yellow representing joy. When she analyzes an aura, she can hear thoughts connected to the feeling.

This also extends to objects. If an object has a strong enough emotion attached to it, she can relive a memory attached to that specific object. With both people and objects, she can enter a state called "Nova" where she experiences a person's thoughts and memories as fragments and parts of their psyche.

She can also remove an emotion from someone if needed, absorbing it into herself and removing it from them.


Weaknesses (If anything notable):

Ordinary human in terms of strength, speed, and durability.

A consequence of her powers is that she can be easily influenced by emotions to the point of causing her to act on said emotion (such as when she started wailing on Mac when he started beating up her brother despite trying to hold herself back.) She is also overcome with an emotion temporarily when she takes it from someone.
