Looking to do a Dark Souls roleplay!
You do not need to know Dark Souls to be apart of this roleplay.
This is the plot and the information I have for this roleplay. If any are interested in it or have questions, feel free to post below!!
I have chosen the specific place because it is "new" (I believe it appeared once before in DS1 or DS2 as a DLC as well) and not a well explored place. We can add on and change things as we go along.
When the link of fire is threatened, the bell tolls,
Unearthing the old Lords of Cinder from their graves.
The Unkindled will rise
Nameless accursed undead,
Unfit even to be cinder.
And so it is,
That ash seeketh embers.
The Link of Fire is threatened once more.
Upon hearing the bell toll, you rise from the grave to link the flame.
But the place you wake, is not the place you remember. It is not the Cemetery of Ash.
No, this place is cold. And snow falls softly, covering the ground in an ever eternal white blanket. You soon realize that the place you awakened to, is called Ariandel.
And you are not alone.
Other Unkindled Undead have awoken with you.
Together you must face the new Lords of this powdered white land and link the flame so that the dark may be once again, held at bay.
World Of Ariandel
A cold, frigid waste-land of a world, where the creatures that live here have adapted to such harsh conditions.
Snow and ice cover the ground and a cast of grey clouds are always above, sprinkling the sky with delicate snow.
But beware those that hide in the shadows, for the dark lurks ever closer and enemies are sure to follow.

Bonfires
Bonfires are your place of refuge, a safe zone. You will find them scattered about the world of Ariandel. To light one, you must crush an Ember and sprinkle it on the ash of the bonfire. The bonfire will then light to life, giving a warm, healing flame.
Death
Death in this Rp is going to happen. I will ensure that it happens at least once to each character. But Death in this Rp is not permanent. When you die in this Rp, you will find yourself sitting at the last Bonfire you and your comrades have rested at. This means that you might find yourself separated from your group. If you get separated from your comrades, don't worry. I'll have some random NPC drop in and help you through.
But beware the death count. If your deaths start to pile up, you'll end up going Hollow.

Hollowing
To many deaths will result in you going Hollow. Those that are Hollow may still have attractions to things they valued as living, but they have lost any will of their own. With each death that happens, your appearance visually degrades and you slowly lose your will to go on. When you go completely Hollow, your skin appears slightly decomposed and the body thoroughly dehydrated, prominent veins can be seen surrounding the heart. Your mind gives up. You come at a standstill, you don't even know what you're doing anymore, attacking anything you see out of rage or spite.
