Oh, there you go. You stand up, looking Sievert over again. Yes, he's familiar, but... you don't know. 


Nova: sorry about that


Nova: i'm okay now.
 
Sievert: Oh, okay, good! Now, I've heard you're playing Sburb.


Sievert pulls out his phone (it's like that old cellphone. 10/10 flip-phone technology) and looks around Pesterchum.
 
You nod, turning to make your way back to your room, and thus back to the game. 


Nova: make yourself at home, i guess
 
Sievert: Alright!


Sievert looks around the house. It feels as if he's back home again. Sievert sees a chessboard and starts playing against himself. For some reason, he's playing with only two kings, the black king and white king.


It results in a stalemate. Who knew.
 
Sievert shuffles a deck of cards. He then places them face-down.


Sievert then reveals the top five cards to reveal 5 aces of spades.
 
You're astounded! That's impossible! You stare at the cards, trying to understand how he did that. Eventually you give up trying.
 
Sievert then lays down the 5 top cards and pulls them up again.


A 5 of hearts, a 3 of hearts, a jack of spades, a king of clubs, and a 7 of clubs.
 
You begin to wonder if this has any relevance.
 
A gust of wind seems to blow in the house. It carries a voice.


Oh, How memories follow themselves down a dangerous path, and reshape what they already know. What a pity.

You disengage from this tom foolery. You have a pal to save! Hopping back on your computer, you disconnect from RP as his server player and connect to green IA as a server player. Doing the same thing you did for RP, you start setting down machines.

Guide book? What guide boo- oh, that guide book.You pick it up and start to flip through it silently. A lot of this stuff in here, you oddly already know. God tiers, echeladders, entering the Medium, denizens... It feels weird. You shouldn't know these things. They weren't in your mind at all prior to this session staring up and the appearance of Sievert and Exxy. You wonder just how much you know that your consciousness is keeping pushed down. 


In the distance, you hear a rumbling sound. You suppose that's your meteor. Time to play the game.

You turn back around to focus on your computer. 
 
Sievert looks outside.


??: Right on time.


He asks Nova if she's ready for what would probably be the most exciting time of her life.
 
AA: uh, sure?


AA: what do you mean by that?
