Raven awoke with a shriek, sweat dripping down her back. Her long purple hair was sticking to her neck and back, her nightshirt clinging to her pale skin. It was about four in the morning, Rae saw as she looked at the clock on her bedside, and she wasn't going to be able to go back to sleep any time soon. Not after that horrid dream.

Ever since Rae had been more in touch with her emotions, the empath had been feeling things with greater intensity, and her nightmares has gotten worse. Tonight's nightmare was about when they had defeated her father, Trigon. Except, in her dream, they didn't succeed, and all of her friends died at her own hand. Her father had gained control over her. Again. It was something she had feared more than anything, what with the family like relationships she had with the other Titans.

With a sigh Raven rose from where she sat on her bed, her small feet touching the soft, dark, carpet that coated her floor. Her room was dark-themed, relaxing, and filled with books and other old knick knacks. She glanced around her room before slipping through her door, heading through the hall outside everyone's rooms to reach the kitchen in order to make some tea. She blinked at the harsh light that came from the fluorescent bulbs in the kitchen, but her dark purple eyes soon adjusted, and she grabbed the kettle, filled it with tap water, and placed it atop the stove, waiting for it to boil.

Garfield's face was lit with his signature goofy grin as he saw the sorceress slowly and groggily make her way into the kitchen. It was the first time he was up before her, so in retrospect he should have been more concerned. However, having the "dive-headfirst" mentality that he had, Beast Boy got up and made his way silently towards the unaware empath.

There was a moment of hesitation as the green skinned boy realized that Cyborg wouldn't be there to intervene; in case Raven was about to send his mutilated corpse through multiple different dimensions. In fact, no one was there in the Tower today but the two that currently resided in the kitchen. Cyborg was at the Titan's East Tower, in hopes in spending some "quality time" with a certain black and yellow heroine. Robin was currently at the movies with Starfire, and with the way he was acting... Beast Boy felt the theater wasn't necessarily going to be their last stop. So if anything went south, Garfield Mark Logan was on his own.

Inches away from Raven, Beast Boy spread out his arms as he let his two index fingers point towards the gray girl's sides. Right before he was ready to strike, Beast Boy took a small whiff of the girl's scent; and it made his heart flutter.

Lavander... He thought.

With purpose the skinny elf jabbed Raven's sides with his fingers, in hopes to make her jump.

"Surprise Rae!"

Garfield's hopes were indeed fulfilled, as the pale female let out a small shriek and twirled around, her back to the stove. Garfield stood in front of her, grinning like a mischievous child. Raven gasped when she realized how close he was and took a deep breath, closing her eyes, before opening them again and glaring at Beast Boy with the dark, violet, eyes. She surveyed his appearance, such as the pointy-ness of his ears or the dark green color of his eyes, her cheeks flushed slightly in embarrassment for being snuck up on. "You scared the hell outta me. Happy? Raven muttered darkly, turning back around to grab the now hot kettle of boiling water. She would have normally used her powers to throw him across the room, but she was not in a very happy, mood, thanks to her dreams.

Raven let out a sigh and pushed past Garfield, her lips forming a small frown.
"...Sorry about that, Gar." She spoke softly, placing the kettle on the counter and turning around to reach for a mug on the top shelf. She was shorter than Beast Boy, so it would have been easy for him to grab one, but it was difficult for her to reach the mug. Nonetheless, she was able to wrap her fingers around one of the handles, using the counter for leverage, and placed it on the counter beside the kettle. Raven glanced back at Garfield, her head tilted slightly as she asked him, "Would you like some tea?" Before waiting for an answer, she began to reach for another mug, assuming he'd accept her offer.

Beast Boy's dorky grin faded as he eyes wandered the many curves of Raven's body that were exposed as she reached for a tea mug. He took in the fluidness of her motion and the grace within each movement. His mouth watered slightly as he could still smell the mix of her lavander perfume and her pheromones with his superior sense of smell. Even though she was at least five feet away, he could smell it strong. His body betrayed him as he felt himself become excited, and sheepishly turned his hips to face the opposite way of Raven's vision.

When she asked him if he wanted some tea, Garfield found it difficult to respond. He had too much saliva built up in his throat from goggling, and he certainly didn't feel like speaking with a terrible voice crack. So he simply watched her as she retrieved the second cup, careful not to stare at her in detail; that way he would have some time to recover before he could make his way to the bathroom to take one heck of a cold shower.

Feeling a bit awkward after several minutes of silence, Beast Boy resumed his teasing.
"So Rae, it's just us in the Tower today... So you have the whole day to spend some quality time with yours truly!" He expressed while pointing to himself eagerly. "We could play some video games, or watch a movie, or eat some tofu..."

Or kiss

"or something..."

Raven turned and gave Beast Boy a strange look because of his prolonged silence, which wasn't normally like him. She shrugged, noting to herself to talk to him about it later, and avoided tuning in to his emotions, since it was something she needed to control and she didn't want to be disrespectful towards one of her teammates. She poured the hot water into both mugs and set the small tea bags in them delicately, making sure the water dragged the leaves down to the bottom of the mug, so they could have the most flavor. While she waited for the tea to be ready, she turned and leaned back against the counter, the cabinets cold against her exposed legs. The night shirt went down to her mid-thighs and was a dark color, bringing out the pale skin she always had. Her purple eyes and hair stood out among her pale skin, and she was looking at Gar.

"Are you okay, Gar? And sure, I guess. A movie and something to eat sounds better than what's been on my mind." Rae spoke softly, but loud enough for Gar to hear her and understand her. The nightmare had rattled her, and she needed to get it off of her mind, so some food and a movie sounded just right about now. BB's behavior was a bit stranger than usual...but Rae didn't want to push too hard. She considered seeing what was wrong with his emotions herself, but shook her head and thought against it. She watched him thoughtfully, gazing at him longer than she should have. He was muscular, but still lean, and his green skin looked flawless. His bright green eyes were always shining, and this morning his hair was sticking up in multiple directions, much to Rae's amusement. She chuckled faintly, a smile tugging at her lips as she motioned to Beast Boy's wild hair.

Beast Boy fought back the desire to cringe when she asked him if he was okay. She must have noticed his odd behavior, since he wasn't being as obnoxious as he was in any other circumstance.

It was hard. Hard to act normal around someone who makes your heart pounding like a jackhammer every time you occupy the same space with that said person. He didn't really know how it happened; how he somehow developed these feelings towards her. How he grew this attraction to her was simply astonishing.

He never really took notice to her much. For the longest time she was like a sister to him. A really, sarcastic and depressing sister... But a sister nonetheless. But as time went on they became more close, and soon enough became best friends. They were often inseparable, though that was mainly because the Changeling followed her around everywhere. But that's how their friendship worked. He would follow her around all the time, and she would tolerate it. They had this silent way of communication that defied the laws of science. One day, when they were alone together... for the first time he saw it. He saw the beauty and the depth within her eyes, the way they sparkled and glistened in the moonlight sky. The hidden warmth behind them, and the expression that can only be seen through her eyes. The texture of her silky smooth purple hair, and how each strand always moved with such grace and wonder. Her face, perfectly sculpted and fit for her slender body. The curvature of her body was angelic. He hadn't seen anything more pristine and surreal that he swore she was the definition of perfection herself. He was more than shocked that he never saw that in her before.

Now? Now that he realized his attraction towards her, his feelings began to grow rapidly. The more and more they bonded, the more and more he deeply cared for her. This wasn't just some teenage hormonal crush, he had it for her bad. Lately it had been hard to concentrate on certain tasks when she was in the general vicinity. When they were on missions, he would always find himself distracted.

Beast Boy was about to interject when Raven agreed to watch a movie with him which intensified his frozen state.

Raven actually agreed to something that I suggested?!

This was RAVEN. As in, the anti-social, Queen Killjoy herself Raven. And SHE wanted to watch a movie with HIM. At least he could brush past her first comment without giving away anything.

"Alright! Let's head to the couch and turn on the telly!"

Raven frowned at Gar, her dark eyebrows knitted together as she thought about how Gar was behaving. On a daily basis, Beast Boy usually appears to be excited, and runs his mouth when talking about video games, vegetarian meal ideas, or other things with Cyborg. His little rants are quite amusing, in all honesty, but can become too much for her, overwhelming the empath. He had his overtly obnoxious moments, but as the Teen Titans matured, he became less ridiculous and rambunctious, and became more mature, his attractiveness was more noticeable, and more like a best friend. She narrowed her violet eyes at him, the gears in her mind turning.

As the team matured, the boys shot up in height, although Cy had always been incredibly tall. Gar was now taller than Rae, and he gained some muscle, which was outlined by the suit he wore often. On days off, however, the titans wore modern clothing, much like the dark nightshirt Raven was currently wearing. Gar was dressed in a set of pajamas as well, looking comfortable, muscular, and incredibly attractive...
Wait...what am I thinking? Raven caught herself, blushing slightly at her own thoughts. She glanced away from Gar to hide her blush, but looked back when he answered her. "Alright! Let's head to the couch and turn on the telly!" Rae rolled her eyes at Gar and turned from Gar to remove the tea bags from their mugs before handing one to Gar, her fingertips brushing against his palm as she placed it in his hand.

"Here. Rae murmured quietly before leaving the kitchen area and walking towards the couch in the main room. Her bare, pale, grey, legs were cold due to their exposure, but Raven didn't care and seated herself at the couch, using her powers to pick up the remote and turn on the television. "Is there something you want to watch, Gar?" She asked him without looking behind her, without glancing at the male she had fallen for. Over time, they had grown close to one another, and with each little secret they shared with one another, her pulse quickened just a tad. She was now at the point where skin contact caused her heart to skip a beat, which scared her a little bit. Raven shook her head slightly, her long purple hair draped around her shoulders as she firmly told herself to think about something else today.
