Important Info:

All fantasy races are acceptable (e.g. Elves, humans, dwarves, orcs/goblins, etc). Heck, throw a Witcher in there. This being said, humans are the most common of these. Think of this world as Middle Earth's fourth age weird cousin. If you have any questions shoot me a message.

Our story starts the day after Runia is destroyed and many royal families and magic users wiped out in the process. If you want to be an heir or part of a kingdom's royal family, just make sure no one before hasn't already claimed them or dm them/me to make sure that it is okay you are part of that family.

Lore is home to all walks of life. This being said, I recommend being a character with some skin in the game or something to lose. Are you in Runia hoping to learn magic? Do you wish for their downfall and revenge for an old score?

Please no OP characters. I recommend starting with no more than 3 characters, but hey, I ain't your momma. Just know my character will enjoy killing dramatically you if you go MIA for two weeks.

History
Auria was one of four children of the house of Runia. Although she was never in line for the throne, she spends a great deal of her life learning how to be a good ruler one day. She started learning basic magic, a rare skill in her bloodline but was forbade from starting formal training until the 21st celebration. After parents are murdered, Ria takes an oath to find revenge and become more than the princess that couldn't save her family. She will do anything to be able to protect her home in the future.

    Appearance: Like most fauns, she has a goat lower half (navel down), and horns. She has double horns - one pair straight back, one pair curled down towards her cheeks. She has a diamond shaped face, and her eyes are goat's eyes (amber sclera, those horizontal pupils). Her hair is black and very reminiscent of a goat's wool, shoulder length. The hairline is quite high, showing off her sloped forehead. Her nose lacks that slope that most humanoids have. Her ear, the long furred ones of a goat (are you sensing a theme yet), have several piercings. One in the left one has a chain going from it to a piercing in her lip. The right one is missing, and there's several criss-crossing, visible scars where it should be. She's slightly pudgy, not exactly toned. Her skin is a russet, light brown colour.

Tai'iq has the appearance of a panther that carries itself and walks like a man. His eyes are a golden yellow and his body is covered in black fur. He has a nick in his left ear. He is lean of build and can even appear scrawny upon first meeting him. He has a tuft of hair that is almost always sticking up between his ears which almost resembles a normal head of hair. He has a long tail which protrudes from the end of his spine. He normally wears drab brown clothing.

Believe it or not Tai'iq is very loyal to those he considers friends and will not steal from them. No matter how shiny or valuable their possessions.

Most of his cleverness goes out the window whenever something shiny and/or valuable reaches his gaze. He'll do pretty much anything in his power to steal said shiny or valuable thing which can and does land him in very hot water, as the greed can go before his better judgement.

History

Tai'iq was born poor among the docks of Zerona, he was taught from a young age that if one wants to survive they need to get every advantage they possibly can, no matter how deceitful they've got to be. Tai'iq earned a love of the written word in the form of song and poem of a wandering troupe that came to the docks to perform in one of the town's surrounding taverns. As soon as he could the Tabaxi went about wandering as well bringing with him the music and writing he had so liked, he stayed in one place for about as long as he could until he was driven out because he got caught stealing something. That worked out, until he ended up stealing something from a higher ranking Onorian captain making the Tabaxi a target, which forced his peaceful wandering to turn into a bunch or running and hiding so as not to be stabbed multiple times by angry soldiers.

Tai'iq normally goes out of his way not to murder people but when it can't be avoided he doesn't seem to lose sleep over it.
Most of his fighting experience comes from back alley brawling against thugs or other thieves.

Oxin's family were owners of an up and coming shipping business. They had just managed to set up a shop in Runia where Onix was going to run. the ship which would have had gone to Onix who had only helped on the others. Until the day of the great peace where his family went to see if they could get more business. Leaving him behind to watch the shop in Tidan. Upon hearing the news of the great peace meeting Onix didn't know what to do. Almost all of his family died along with most of their employees. The rest left on a count Onix couldn't pay them. All he has is one ship and the stores.

Lorne is an Orgrillon but not a true half-ogre as that was his father. But the blood of the ogre is incredibly potent within his veins, far more then it was in his siblings, and this shows itself in his physique. He is incredibly large in both height and physical mass, his body is a series of thick muscled cords that give him immense strength, greater then what most others could ever hope to achieve. But this size does have some disadvantages, like ogres, his sheer muscle mass does not make him a man with the greatest finesse nor the quickest of wit. Being an Ogrillon does have some other benefits as he is more resistant to sickness and toxins then humans, possesses a mild regeneration and blows that would be lethal to others, laying them low, can be pushed through and endured... But Ogrillons don't tend to live long as Lorne, despite being only 28, already appears to be in his late thirties.

Lorne has no formal fighting style, what he knows he learned from hunting beast and his experience on the field of battle. Lorne does not fight in a 'flashy' manner lacking any real desire for bravado or urge to prove himself like a misguided youth, instead, Lorne prefers simple and efficient blows and movements using his superior size and strength to overpower and overwhelm opponents while keep his movements small and contained. Thanks to his natural toughness and biology, Lorne has little issue 'exchanging' blows with someone who may be too fast, or skilled, for him to hit conventionally, purposely leaving himself open so they can land what would be a 'killing' or 'deadly' blow to another only to strike them down when they find their blade wedged too far into his body to remove in time. Lorne is a diligent man, he is not one to shy away from his duties or task, to balk at the path he must walk or look for an easy way out. Once he decided on a course of action, no force in the world can dislodge him. He works hard and throws every fiber of his being into whatever comes before him and will do so every moment of every day without complaint or reprieve until his body gives out. An naturally honest man, Lorne does not lie and has little time for liars in turn. The truth is what it is, people can deal with it or they can not, but he will never pretend it is anything but what it is... even if the truth holds far more pain then one can imagine. Lorne is not one to muse and ponder his options, dawdle on what to do, try and think steps ahead of his foe, no, Lorne is a hunter. He may observe, he may wait, but the second he decides to act, he acts. He does not hesitate, he does not ponder and second guess himself, once it has been decided, all that is left is action and result... and even if such thoughts ever did cross his mind, no one would ever see them because Lorne is, above all, a stoic. he does not show his pain or his discomfort for such things are his burden and his alone. He was raised to be strong, to be resilient, to be the one his fellow villagers and family could rely on... How could they rely on someone who could not hold themselves up?

Stubborn as a mule is a polite way to describe Lorne for while he will walk his path until he can walk no longer, he is also incredibly stubborn to change or alter his mind or opinion on something. If he has decided he must, he will lower his head and ram into a stone wall over and over again until either he, or the wall, gives in rather then seek another, more efficient, means. He is very slow to change or accept changes to his ways as if they have worked so far, why bother to alter it? If the world, or even the gods, came down and told Lorne to move when he did not want to? He would dig in his heels and whisper, no. For the majority of his life, Lorne has dealt with his fellows in Rolgar, a small village within the Ashlands, and his exposure to great amounts of people is still new to him as such he still takes people at face value. If they say they will do something, he believes they will until proven otherwise. If they swear to him, he expects them to keep their oath as any person of the Grey Hollow would because of this, Lorne has been cheated, lied to, stolen from and a myriad of other such things since his foray into the greater world... But a person can only trick Lorne once. Once he makes a judgement on an action or person, his judgement is final. Should someone lie to him, they will be liar to the end of their days. A coward is a coward even until they draw their last whimper. A bird cannot change its feathers, just as a man cannot change who they are and once Lorne has seen them for what they are... there is no going back and while he can tolerate such people to do what must be done, they will never climb higher in his esteem. Lorne has never been a great conversationalist, even back in his home, he was withdrawn, rough and curt. His brother, Aldire, was the one gifted with wit and charm, Lorne.. Lorne merely with muscle. As such, Lorne tends to speak bluntly and true, he calls the world as he sees it and does not think about how those words or observations may effect others... for better or ill.

Lorne is the oldest of six children, born in village of Rolgar located within the Grey Hollows of the Ashlands. The Grey Hollows is a horrid, wretched place even by Ashland standards located on the junction of the Great Ashen Plains and the Weeping Bog, it is a land that demands much from those that dwell within it and gives very little. The village survived off of rice and grain crops grown along the edge of the bog as well as from hunting the great beast that roam the ashlands, selling their pieces to what merchants survived the journey to the village. While merchants who managed to make it to Rolgar and back to civilization would make a killing selling off the exotic ingredients and pieces to wealthy collectors, craftsmen and nobles, the people of Rolgar saw little coin being the end of a rather large money trail. In fact, the village of Rolgar was rather poor and its people always barely had enough to keep it going. Its numbers kept up only be stragglers and outcast that found themselves in its confines, unable and unwilling to leave, buts its numbers could never quite peak as a single bad day, a single wrong step and their live could be snuffed out as what happened with Lorne's father, Iskander, who was devoured by a great Korva while trying to survey the ashen plains for some professor back in Runia when Lorne was just a boy. With the death of his father, Lorne had to step up and help his family. He helped his mother take care of his siblings, leaving his childhood behind to become the figure they could turn to, he took odd jobs in the village to help his mother keep them fed and clothed, and when he was old enough, he became a hunter.

Few in the village were educated, the art of reading wasn't so important in the Ashlands where everything from the animals, to the plants to the land, itself, wanted to devour them. His family was poor and did not have access to what few safely farmable land was on the strip of land where the plains met the bog, his ungainly size and lack of finesse meant the path of the craftsmen was lost... All that was left was hunting, as Lorne wasn't good for much else besides hitting something hard and repeatedly until it stopped moving. Lorne became a great hunter, the best in the village even as a teenager because he threw himself at it with a single minded determination... but he was not the most liked person. Lorne was.. respected, he was a 'great man', a 'great hunter', but he was always on the outskirts during festivals, was unmarried while everyone his age were quickly settling down.. especially considering people didn't have the luxury of time in the ashlands.. Lorne was.. Lorne. He wasn't good with people, good at talking, he was good at taking care of things, providing for people, hunting, killing, listening... but he wasn't his siblings. His mother used to say he had too much ogre in his blood, and at times, Lorne couldn't help but wonder if he had more in common with the beast he slew then the people around him... Still, Lorne loved his village, his home, his family, he enjoyed taking care of them, watching them grow, butting heads with Aldire as only a 'father' could with his rebellious 'son'. But it all changed on the hunt.

Like most cultures and places, Rolgar had a certain rite of passage the young took to prove to the village they were adults and ready to be recognized as equals.. They hunted. The nearly turned eighteen year olds would accompany a veteran hunter and they would bring back a slain beast proving they could contribute through valor, cunning or preservice. It was risky, but not a great one as they would hunt something small, something weak.. something that they could handle and, worst came to worst, the elder would take care of it and for the last few years, that safety net had been none other then Lorne. This year was somewhat special, Aldire, his rebellious brother, the rake of the town, who had young girl swooning and married women leaving their windows unlatched and Zhenya, the daughter of Sigrid, the town sage, one of the few in the town that could read and a recluse, like her mother. A pact of wargs were prowling the plains, far too close for comfort and making the livestock worried, compared to the other best, wargs were a pest, not a threat, but they were a pest that needed to be exterminated and so were suitable for the task. Little did they know, another denzien of the Ashen Plains had the same prey. The hunt went well, the wargs were being tracked... until they found them. Their bodies torn to shreds, blood and viscera staining the ground and then it came. Barodon, a great predator of the plains, akin to a wingless dragon but with twice the attitude. It didn't see them as prey, not, they were intruders upon its feast and Barodon do not tolerate rivals. It attacked Aldire, its great maw coming to close over his body but before it could clamp down, he was shoved out of the way.. by Zhenya. It happened so fast that Lorne barely registered the flash of white hair, the shout to move and then the horrible cracking of bone.

The Barodon was eventually brought down by Lorne, his brother stunned, covered in the blood of the woman who saved him and Zhenya... She died in Lorne's arms. He tried to stem the bleeding, but the second he saw her, he knew it was too late, but he couldn't help but try.. but no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't stop the blood from flowing around his hands and pooling around him, staining him with his failure, her eyes that looked at him with such fear, the tears that leaked out, how her mouth moved as she tried to speak, tried to say something but the words were unable to slip through the blood that had filled her lungs... Lorne still has nightmares, at times, of what she was trying to say. Help me? Save me? Where had he been? Why hadn't he been there? Why? Lorne carried her body back to the village, she was so small, like she hardly weighed anything at all and she had saved Aldire... She should never had needed to. Aldire tried to speak a few times on the walk back, but his voice stopped each time, save for once when he tried to say something.. Lorne did not agree with but was wise enough to stop when he noticed the glare from his older brother.

Lorne carried her to the small hut her mother, Sigrid, lived at. He never forgot that moment. Of when she opened that door, the emotion that passed over her face.. Something had changed that day, Lorne just didn't know what. Over the next year, people started to disappear as monster attacks on the village increased, everyone assumed they were being carried off into the night and with each passing week, the village grew closer to doom. The attacks were getting bolder, larger, and they weren't able to stop them all as more and more people disappeared... Finally, Sigrid appeared with a plan. She would carve a grand warding sigil into the very earth around the village and with it, the beast of the ashland would be turned away. It was outlandish, no one understood what she meant, but Sigrid had always done right by them even after the loss of her daughter, and with no other options, they agreed. Lorne, Aldrie and three other hunters pushed out to halt the tide of beast until the warding was complete... And once the sun had set and the night rose, it happened. A flash of light, a pillar of blinding energy that pierced the sky and what should have been a moment of glory felt like a stone that had dropped in his stomach. Bile rose to his throat as the air felt electric as even where he was, leagues away, he saw it. A figure within the pillar, a darkness that swallowed the light around it.. it reached down and spoke. The words forever etched in Lorne's soul and then it was over and the world was still.

The hunters returned to their village to find a ghost town. Everything was where it had been left, as if someone had painted the village... and then erased the people. There was no hint or sign of them, it was as if the gods had plucked them right up. His mother, his siblings, gone. Lorne knew Sigrid was the cause, the spell had gone wrong, it had to be.. but that wasn't true as Lorne would later find out in his journeys. The spell, whatever it was, had gone off correctly. No warding spell could cover something so vast, it had been dark magic... A ritual of grand design and scale and the people of Rolgar had been the ingredients. Sigrid, the Dark Sage of Rolgar... His failure had taken everything from the woman, and so she had taken everything from them, but why? Why had she done what she did? What was the purpose of the ritual? What was that thing he saw? He did not know, but Sigrid did. He would find her. He would get his answers, and then, he would throttle the life out of her. To that end, he has traveled the land earning pay for petty work, monster hunting or as a mercenary as he tracked down clues and leads for her. His brother, Aldire, doing the same, sending him messengers when he uncovered something new to help point him in the right direction. Lorne has done... terrible things in his pursuit, he will continue to. There is no place on this or any other realm where he will not find her.

Lorne fought as a mercenary for Onor and aided in the fall of the Runia Palace as he believed Sigrid was working as a professor there.
As an Ogrillon, Lorne has reduced sensitive to magic [trouble using it and a small resistance], coupled with his lack of any formal education means Lorne has no magical ability, whatsoever. And while he has potential to learn the most basic of magic, his natural dislike of magic and mages means he will never learn said basic magic.

History

The proud house of de la Zot is one of the most ancient houses in all of Zerona. It is easily the most influential one, too, with the other houses either paying tribute or being de facto vassals to it. However such a state has not come about through luck or fully legitimate means. The house is infamous amongst the underworld for it's very frequent shady dealings and unscrupulous means that it uses to maintain power. In fact, many a political opponent of the house have suffered horrible "accidents" or were suddenly in possession of incriminating materials or goods. When more underhanded ploys fail, overt brutality is instead the house's weapon, and each and every member is an unparalleled warrior.

Febo himself was born a fourth son. Although the child early on showed incredible promise, it was quite clear that his heart was never really in it. The duplicitous ploys of the De La Zots, and their amoral nature was something the child was not particularly comfortable with. Yet he did his duty as instructed. Even when the Onorians came, still he did his duty, and arranged for the delivery of the extravagant payment.

Unfortunately the ploy was not complete, and now his father has given him another mission. He must track down the heir of Runia, the most prominent of the Kingdoms, and keep a close eye on her and her dealings. In this manner, his father shall have a pawn in place to use in the future...whether to aid the Onorians, or, if the opportunity presents itself...claim the kingdoms himself.

Extra: The face paint he bears is traditional to Zerona. He claims his mother was from there, and she made him promise to always wear it as a reminder of their people. This is...only a half lie. The scars, he claims he got during a fight for a friend's honor. Once again, a half lie.

History

“I was your shield and I failed, now I shall be your blade, I shall not fail, I shall not fall”

Valtek was the primary bodyshield to Prince Erzan for 5 years before the great betrayal. Picked from the already skilled palace guard he was given advanced training and skills to protect the prince but when it came down to it he failed.

He’d protected the Prince with his shield and then his body, taking the crossbow bolt mean for the prince, he’d stayed on his feet for a few more seconds before the mace blow that wrecked his helmet, his face and his consciousness.

He was (so he was later told) dumped on the palace midden with the rest of the corpses, he’d been stripped of his armour and left for dead. Crossbow bolt deep in his chest, face covered with blood and a noticeable dent in his exposed skull it was perhaps not surprising.

That the weeping widow huddled over the dead body of her son even heard his faint rattling breath was unlikely, that she cared or was loyal enough to get his body taken for help was fortunate. That she happened to know an apothecary willing and able to save his life was nothing short of miraculous.

So he is alive, his face is horribly scarred, you can literally see the bones and jaw in the side of his face and there is a noticeable dent in his skull. He has a leather mask which covers half his face

Has no magic himself but part of the training when assigned Royal Bodyguarding duties was regular exposure to a number of spells cast at him by the mages of the palace. This has granted him an awareness of when a spell is cast upon him as well as a very limited resistance to them.

Appearance: There's a reason why people call her a devil child: her skin is a lighter purple mixed with flesh-colored undertones, the skin almost lavender-colored in some places, and her hair a dark shade of brunette that's often tied in a low braid. Her eyes are a solid white with no sclera or pupils, and two features are identifiable when speaking to Kidari or her race; the first is a long prehensile tail that's the same as her skin color that starts at the end of her spine and extends roughly four and a half feet, ending with a tapered point like a harpoon's. The second is large dark-shaded horns on her head that curve downward and come back up, similar to a young gazelle's. Other than these demonic features, Kiki often wears dark, heavily covered clothing (especially around her waist and a mask on her head that covers her mouth)-not just to conceal who she is, but because it's cold up in Drobis!

Weapon of choice: Their trusty handy-dandy dagger (that she calls Celica the III, since she went and/or lost the previous two Celicas. She won't tell why). She can also handle a variety of light weapons to use, from crossbows to spears.
Fighting Style: Hand-to hand combat is Kidari's specialty, as she can easily move her opponent around the field and goat them into doing what she wants. However, she isn't helpless in ranged fighting; hand her a crossbow, and she can hold her own. Her attacks aren't offensive, as Kiki prefers to stay on the defensive, and that's where most of her power in moving her target across the arena comes into play-Kidari used the environment to her advantage, and to do most of her damage. She can also use the limited fire magic at her disposal to do fancy tricks (now innit) and help with her attacks, so that's fun.

Personality strengths: Empathetic, headstrong, honest to her word (when you gain her trust), and generally easygoing. Kidari is someone that can go with the flow of most encounters and often does not speak unless it's necessary...which is also a downfall.
Personality weaknesses: Too curious for her own good, unruly in a fight, distant to most people-and if you lose her interest, she doesn't hesitate to start eyeing your stuff to see if she can snag and sell it for a quick buck. Kidari's unruliness can spill out of fights as well when she's upset and/or stressed.
Fears: Being starving and dying on the streets, possibly being a next target for the Onor because of her limited fire magic...oh, and deep water makes her extremely nervous (she does know the basics of how to swim, but anything that she can't clearly see the bottom of and/or imagine a sea creature in it, she freaks out a little about it).
Interests/Hobbies: Cooking, listening to music, playing dice games, prying into others' lives. because "curiosity killed the cat" isn't enough of a warning for you.

History
Thanks to her mother making a pact with an incubi, Kidari resulted. Having half of the traits from her father of a demon tail and horns (plus the canines and the solid-colored eyes), her mother was frightened and scared of what her daughter was. Mother kept her, of course...just kept her distant, at an arm's length. Right up until she was just past puberty being set in, and that's when Mother pushed her out and into the city by herself. Kiki survived and scraped by for a while, occasionally catching merchant caravans into the other kingdoms as a "acquaintance" or, in no better terms, a servant to these caravan merchants just for somewhere to stay the night. Some merchants were ok with the demon child, some treated her like dirt-it was a roof over her head and food for the day, the tiefling would reason.
As she grew up, she took on longer jobs as something akin to a servant for the bigger families in the kingdoms. It was certainly better conditions that the merchants could give, that was for sure. One night, a young "prince" of sorts in the kingdom of Tidan found her and decided to take the tiefling under the family's wing to stay with for the meanwhile-from what Kidari could gather, this prince often did this act to people that piqued his curiosity. During her stay, she would often listen to the family's conversations, and through this made a "plan" or some such to help keep herself afloat in business; first by offering her services to the prince that took her in.
It wasn't a unanimous decision, but it did come with responsibilities and huge consequences if the tiefling messed up. Rest assured, the young adult did do her job correctly and efficiently, and thus gained the trust of most of the whole family (some still had doubts because of her demonic heritage). Being a sellsword for hire now, it means she kept to the job with other families as well.
Some tieflings would revel in the looks and judgements of being demonkin. Kidari tries her hardest to the people she's in the presence with to make sure they don't see her as a threat to their safety.

The cost is that the Petrification Curse is a two way streak-his body slowly reverts back to stone wherever he strikes, giving him temporary armor but also making him easier to break. The Worst, however, is what comes when it must be cured...

History:

In another time, a priestess who had been wronged fell out of favor with her goddess. As punishment, she was turned into a horrendous monster that could turn mortal men to stone at the mear sight of her. Many Heroes and Warriors across the land tried to slay her, and many were defeated before her time finally came to an end. However, it would seem that a part of her Legend was lost to its own history as a recent finding has reveal a piece of the priestess' Legacy. For amongst the army of men to have tried their luck against her, the priestess found some to be of exceptional character. From their statues, she took the highest quality pieces, grinded them into dust, mixed them with her blood, and started to sculpt that which she believed to be the perfect warrior. Yet, before his completion, she was out witted in battle and finally slain. The statue lay hidden for a long time...and yet, in the mysterious land of the Echo Isles, an anomaly of a man has appeared. Blind but not feeble. Terrifying but not Malicious. With a body like stone he could be hero, but even he is uncertain of his purpose in this world.

    Name: Navara Pathfinder; a name given to her by the pirate captain Caine Blackfoot of The Wicked Serpents.
    Nicknames/Aliases: Navi to her crewmates Calys and Lester.
    Race: Tiefling, though, she wasn't born as one but cursed. How? She has no recollection.
    Appearance: With long, flowy grey-white hair that falls down her back, the female tiefling can not hide her long, pointed ears and two thick, double horns that have silver-painted tips at the base of both sides of her head. Her skin colour ranges from a hint of light-grey to a neutral ash brown colour that shows small veins trailing down her arms and legs that is more visible in the sun. However, compared to other tieflings, she could appear slightly more human if she didn't have a tail attached to her spine that matches her features. Nevertheless, her long, slender nails are usually black and quite sharp to touch.

    Small in size, Navara only stands at five feet even and tends to be light on her feet, even if she can be a little clumsy - tripping over thin air or even her tail. Her deep-set, yellow eyes tend to seem as if they glow due to the lightness of her iris to match her white sclera. However, a noticeable marking on Navara is the scar on her left eye and below. Two slash marks appear to have healed from an incident long ago, though the open-circular shaped mark completes the reminder which reflects the encounter she had with a creature that could have caused her to lose her left eye.
    Main motivation: She needs to find out who she is, where she's from, and what her purpose is in life. From the moment she woke up from a dark, cruel, slumber, Navara feels lost and out-of-place as if she didn't belong among the rest.
    The tiefling wants to not be a burden to her crewmate and feel independent to the point she could take care of herself without feel like a baby doe. A place where she feels happy with herself. And in order to do that, she must seek growth and knowledge outside of their comforts - an adventure towards her path.

History
The meaning of the jade stone is purity or purification it is regarded as a stone that protects and supports loving heart energy, it also symbolizes gentleness and nourishment. These were things Jade's father saw in her. He said she was pure, loving and gentle though that wasn't the original reason why he named her Jade. He named her Jade because she was lucky or so he said. Jade was born dead no signs of life anywhere. But to everyone surprise Jade had suddenly came back life after five mins of being dead. Though confused by it everyone rejoiced and her father named her Jade. As she grew up this seem to be true Jade did seem to be very lucky always at the right place at the right time. Some how avoiding death when she shouldn't have. He soon enough started calling her lucky charm.

Though Jade was seemingly a lucky girl she was also the runt of the family. Where everyone else were big, strong, brutel and ruthless warriors Jade wasn't in fact she didn't seem to have the talent for it. She always had to train harder then everyone else. Jade had a older brother and sister who fit the warrior culture and life style they had a talent for it. While Jade on the other hand more of talent for the arts. Jade trained hard but no matter how much better and stronger she got she just couldn't seem to catch up to everyone else. But there was one thing she had the upper hand on, magic, though she doesn't know much she did learn how to create bearers big or small and she was determined to learn more. She wanted to be just as good prove herself to her father, mother and her siblings, who would always tease her.

History

At the age of 15, Aroshann was apprenticed to train under the Sorcerers of Whispering Tower. Though renowned for his magical prowess, he was shunned by many of his peers for his experiments on stray animals and street urchins. The Guilt argued about whether to continue his training, but a large donation by a benefactor made the Guild hold their tongues. Three years later, Aroshann disappeared from Runia, leaving his master sorcerer dead. For several decades nothing was heard of the boy and the Sorcer's Guild declared him dead. The matter was thought to be over until ten years following the signing of the Great Peace and he appeared at a port in the Echo Isles wearing the pelts of many beasts thought to have been long extinct. Wherever he traveled plagues and death seemed to follow. While some towns succeeded in driving him away, many paid for it in the curses he called down upon them. As time went on, Arosann became more and more twisted, needing more and more lives to support his use of dark magic and sustain his life. The only friend he ever had was Sigrid, the Dark Sage of Rolgar, with whom he would take refuge between his travels. Eventually, the Guild of Runian Sorcerers came for him and he was forced to flee to Onor, where he was made a unique offer by the king.
