  Balrir is cruel man that loves fighting and war. He is honorable only because he thinks war is a game, not reality.
  
  
  
• History
  
  Balrir was born and raised in the hold of Whiterun. He was born under the rule Jarl Graymane, his father Jarl Hahrarnessen later became Jarl. Like Jarl Graymane, Hahrarnessen aided and supported the Stormcloaks. Balrir considered Jarl Ulfric his role model along with his father. Balrir was of age and went to battle. He disobeyed his father, and joined the Stormcloaks.
  
  
  After many years of being a Stormcloaks, hostiles raided Windhelm's palace. Balrir was personally guarding Jarl Ulfric at the moment. Balrir saved Jarl Ulfric despite getting nearly killed in the attack. Balrir came back to Whiterun to see that his father, Hahrarnessen had been killed. Balrir returned to his Windhelm, Ulfric believed that Balrir was a good fighter and a capable leader. He was made Jarl of Whiterun. But Balrir doesn't know that Ulfric was the killer of his father, Jarl Hahrarnessen. Ulfric knew that Hahrarnessen knew about him going mad and his whole plan. He knew that Balrir idealized Ulfric and knew that he would take his side in the war, thus Whiterun would once again be on the side of Windhelm.
