Saerina Avrikana was used to getting nervous before missions- but not like this.

The words of the Jedi Council echoed freshly in her mind: "We have agreed to send you as aid to their capital, since they claim these rioters are the ones to be contained to ensure the safety of everyone else. But we suspect that the government officials, not the rioters, are the corrupt ones. Maybe they're both corrupt. We don't know. You must discover the truth for yourself." With that being said, they sent her off to the jungle planet of Akiva in the Outer Rim, with little to no information about the structure of their government or the state of their people.

As Saerina arrived in the capital city, she quickly realized that this planet was overly dramatic. Rain poured relentlessly onto the muddy streets as she wove her way through the city, and thunder boomed about every five seconds. People got into fistfights around every corner and the other passersby didn't even seem to notice. There was already so much chaos going on in the Force- Saerina couldn't imagine what it would feel like once she actually found the government officials.

This place had been on his radar for over a year now. It started as a little in an out mission, but it was so beneficial. It had been about two months since he had gotten his nose stuck into it personally. It was risky, but he'd been waiting too long. This was his first step.

Felion Lankost was mere days away from starting to shape the fate of the galaxy, or so he liked to think.

For two weeks, he's been on the surface. Officially, he's out here tracking potential Jedi movement. Apparently they have nothing better for him to do than trek through the mud looking at absolutely nothing. Off the books, he's exactly where he needs to be. Each step through the rain covered streets was absolutely silent. His blaster was the only visible weapon and hung solidly against his thigh. Each half of his light saber was hidden behind the thick black cloak. It was chaos. More than usual. It was effortless though the way he moved through the crowds of people and stopped off at one of the market stalls

As Saerina approached the capitol building, the tension in the Force increased. She could sense the mob before she saw it- hundreds of presences, tainting the landscape with raw emotion and instability. Her pace slowed to a more cautious rate, and one hand went to her saberstaff hilt. At least this massive disturbance was helping lead her to the government officials....

But when she saw the mob for herself, she froze. A dense mass of people, all blocking every entrance and exit to the capitol building. Local law enforcers huddled together with shields as the people shouted and threw rocks and raised fiery torches. Saerina drew her hood closer around her face and remained in a shadowy corner, wondering with dread what she was possibly supposed to do. This mob was far too big for her to address alone, and how could she get around it?

A rogue member of the mob broke through the police barricade and ran, shouting like a madman, into the capitol, with a primitive knife in his hand. This situation was about to get ugly, fast.
