The Kingdom of Auria. The humble beginnings of Auria saw them as nothing more then a group of settlers that had settled quietly near the Aurian mountain some 600 years ago. The mountain, unbeknownst to the villagers, housed an assortment of rich minerals. When the village started to find ways to increase their fortune, a group of men slowly mined their way into the Aurian mountain, where they then discovered these minerals. What seemed like a simple trade route to a neighboring town eventually saw the humble town grew into a city and slowly, the colossal white walls and the unending stretch of buildings that we now know as Auria. The wealth and position of Auria attracted many to their kingdom from various races and other kingdoms, creating a diverse culture that worked together in harmony. With their ever expanding fortune, Auria developed a moderately strong military that was able enough to defend their lands but as the necromancer came, the gates of the fortress saw the flocking of refugees everyday as the villages and towns on the countryside were destroyed by the necromancer's army. The Aurian forces were stretched thin to defend whatever fort and border they can hold.
Descending from a long line of kings and queens, King Horath III claimed the throne 30 years ago when his father quietly passed away due to natural causes. His rise was unchallenged as Horath was deemed as one with great leadership qualities and was respected by many. The first 10 years of his rule saw Auria's economy rise and the expansion of the kingdom, allowing for more housing spaces for merchants and travelers to settle in Auria. King Horath III emphasized heavily on the construction of forts and garrisons on the borders of Auria. This proved a great assistance for Auria when the necromancer's minions conducted raids and skirmishes at the countryside, repelling several raids successfully. Despite the efforts of King Horath III, the raids eventually grew in intensity and numbers, forcing the border guards back and destroying several forts in the process. Hearing the secrets of the ancient island of Orok, he ordered his advisor to gather a group of skilled outlaws and mercenaries to venture to the mysterious island and discover whether the legendary relic still exists.
The Aurian Elites are an impressive force. The members are composed, disciplined and skilled fighters and are able to fight in both melee and ranged with ease. While they are not many in numbers, they are a brutal killing machine when packed together. In peacetime, they serve as guards to the King and the royal family, mainly stationed in the palace. But with the necromancer's threats brewing more danger for the nation, many of the elites were sent to the border forts, with half of their numbers already diminished due to relentless undead attack.
Coming from a long line of minor nobility, Lothric was the adviser to King Horath II and now King Horath III. He is a man of diligence and determination, garnering much respect by the royal members and the citizens throughout the years of his service. Even with old age and the undead menace wearing him down, he remains vigilant and commits himself entirely to doing whatever he can to stop the necromancer.

Very little is known about the necromancer only that it surfaced about 6 months ago when his minions began conducting raids, plundering several important trade routes from Auria to the other kingdoms. The necromancer has yet to show itself but the increasing intensity and brutality of the necromancer's minions are clear evidence of the necromancer's powers.
