As Jin kept an ear open, listening in on Miyu’s explanation, he went from interested to downright furious. He was just beginning to feel a little empathetic towards her. She was a victim of firebending here tonight just as Jin himself had been in the past. She was an Equalist too, so clearly they shared some ideals. But by the time Miyu had finished speaking, all of those thoughts evaporated like a droplet over a roaring flame. It was replaced by a burning rage fueled by his deep-seated resentment of benders.

Miyu had come face to face with a bender, her house burning down around her, and she offered them a helping hand? Didn’t she realise that was the enemy?! To Jin, the arsonist who treated her home like it was kindling and the woman she had encountered inside the burning apartment complex were of the same ilk. Miyu had helped the only person in that building who deserved to go up in flames with it. Jin figured it was symbolic in some way. She had helped the enemy with the very thing that was meant to signify her opposition to them. She should’ve given her mask to someone worth saving.

Gritting his teeth rigorously, Jin scanned the area. If this bender was wearing traditional waterbending garb with an Equalist mask on, she should be easy enough to find. Or so he thought. It was dark, and smoke from the apartment complex was still heavy in the air. Between the victims of the arson and those who came to contain the fire, there was plenty of commotion to slip away during. Jin tightly grasped the nunchucks hanging from his waist as he continued to look over the crowd, seemingly ready to draw them at any moment.

It was Hati’s response that broke Jin from his trance-like state. He had to do a double-take. Was she serious? She had just received a report of a bender in the area from a fellow Equalist - if Miyu even really was an Equalist at heart - and she wrote it off as a dream. If that wasn’t worth investigating, what was? Jin’s mind was racing, trying to make sense of Hati’s response. Did they both know something he didn’t? He gave a sideways glance towards the rest of Hati’s team hoping for some kind of reaction, but all he was met with was the gleam of the flames in the pitch-black eyes of their Equalist masks.

“... Shouldn’t we at least have a look around for this waterbender? If it’s true, and she has her hand’s on an Equalist mask, shouldn’t we try to get it back?”

Ultimately, Jin decided to speak up. He wasn’t sure how Hati would respond, but he just couldn’t keep his mouth shut. In his mind, he was either about to get his first real assignment as an Equalist, or he was about to learn a harsh lesson on speaking out of turn.

Hati listened to the new recruit speak and could tell he didn't quite get what she was saying and how exactly being an equalist should work. They were not common thugs, they were not benders that lashed out at anyone they could, they enforced the rules and laws of lord Amon and the city and thus they could not simply arrest everyone they suspected but had not evidence even it was just their word. while Jin had spirit he was untempered and untested, not to mention he saw only the now not the latter in things. It seemed she had truly been given someone truly raw.

" Tell me Recruit" She said with emphasis on recruit " What did you see, did you see a bender healing a child, did you see the woman or the child?" She asked but she didn't want an answer " No you did not." She answered for him " All you and I have is a rather fantastical report from someone whose job it is to be creative, and who had just woken up still half asleep when this supposedly happened" She continued showing how if you thought about it the encounter made little sense " All we have is one half asleep person saying they saw someone with their hands over a child in the middle of a fire where visibility is limited where simple CPR could look like magic healing" She explained knowing this was far far more logical than a water bender giving themselves away for no reason to save some random kid. " Now let me set you straight on one thing we do not respond to simple reports, we do not act simply on hunches, we act on proof and what we know. We are not benders who lash out with emotions, we enforce the rules and laws we do not rule over others. If we claimed someone was a bender any time they splashed us or claimed any kid that threw a rocks was an earth bender we would have no one left. " She explained her voice a cold anger that they were even having this talk " So tell me Recruit Jin where did you see this water bender?" She asked pausing to wait for him to answer.

Adrien reached toru's room and walked in. " boys I think we should go over tomorrow and our new addition. Meet mai our new member." Said adrien as she gave a signal to question Mai in order for them to form their own opinion. Ultimately it was her that gave the final say but she had to test Mai. Like she did everyone that join her cell temporary or not. She hope it worked out cause she could use a non bender in her ranks. Mai could prove very useful if Adrien was correct.

Mai looked around Toru's room impressed by the various devices and how well hidden the room was. She had though the Bender Underground relied mostly on their bending and so did not have a technical skill to match the Equalist and Restorationist group. It was also a little troubling as technical help is the best thing she could offer for from her group beyond her martial skill. "Wow, impressive set up here." She said out loud. Toru continued at his work his only reaction was a slight smile at her praised. "Well, I am a member of the Restorationist Group and have trained as a Kyoshi Warrior...." She said feeling she had to justify her presence.

" Kyoshi warrior you say. Only group kyoshi made that didnt go all corrupted. Anyway my group mainly does sneak attacks on the equalist and inspire people to go against them. Unfortunately Amon and his followers are equally good at turning public opinion mainly through fear. " said adrien as she held the bottle by its lip. This bottle was a gift from her master. In his words promoted talking and truth, thought back to her master. Before she became leader of her cell she thought he just love drinking, but now she seeing it as a little of both wisdom and drinking.

"Anyway I think Toru and Getan should blow up the factory. Sorry for the change Toru, but I think I can be better at distracting whatever equalist werent at the rally. Especially with Getan injured. You think you can handle that Getan " said adrien before she drank more from the bottle. Waving the bottle in front of Getan to see if she can tempt him into another drink. Maybe even toru into a drink.

"Mai will be my backup. Toru she need a mask." said Adrien.

As Toru went on, Getan decided to end the conversation there. He was still trying to decide if this would even be considered a discussion by any average person, but for Toru, this was practically a heated debate. This might be the longest they've spoken in weeks. The disheveled thug wouldn't consider himself practiced in sophisticated conversation, but whatever two-word sentences you'd expect from a disfigured mongoloid that Toru decided to grace him with wasn't up to par with his low standards. Getan quickly became agitated with the quirk and knew when to call it quits.

Just as he was about to turn in for the night, he hears a call from up the stairs. "Oh spirits, what is it now? Does she want her booze back?" he groaned while rubbing the brewing sleep headache out through his temples, "If worse comes to worst I'll work to pay it off, but I'm keeping the damn bottle."

Before long, Adrien came down with an unexpected guest. After a lot of information being thrown his way in a brief amount of time, Getan had a lot of questions, but a lot of that time would be spent not sleeping off a dislocated shoulder. Tactically keeping this short was his best move. "Yeah sure, blow up a factory with mumbles Magee while a stranger gets all the fun? Why not? Sounds like a party," he responded, his voice dripping with sarcasm. "I'm assuming blowing up whatever building is so easy a cripple could do it."

"Kyoshi warriors... Trained by Avatar Kyoshi before the hundred year war and helped Avatar Aang during the war. In Isolation recently... Archaic but effective." Toru mattered almost to himself thoughtfuly. He seemed to have notices Getan remark regarding him or his annoyance. "Good at stealth and spying. Equalist frightened of shadows and femme fatale according to radio intercept. Pretty one to."

Mai smiled at Toru. "That is accurate and thank you." She turned to Getan with a frown. "Beggar cant be choosers, it is not like whatever you doing works so far." She pointed out.

"Only worked to burn his house apparently." Toru pointed out. "Though head trauma maybe the cause too." He turned to Tory with a sly smirk."Batted helmet. Build for you to lessen blows to the head. If you like."

It has been a couple of weeks since that anniversary of the founding of the bender underground. Things seemed to have settled down since then, the Equalist high command seemed to believe the main danger has passed and so decreased the presence of their forces on the ground. Amon appeared once more in one of his rallies, publicly debending a group of benders and overseeing the execution of one who was considered a dangerous criminal. There is a rumour among the rebels that a Restorationist attack was planned for the event but the equalist were aware and intervened before the attack could be made. This combined with the recent captures and deaths by Hati had made both groups scared. Both groups fear a spy within their ranks especially as their are public displays of benders willingly letting themselves debending and pledge loyalty to the order.

Attack on the factory has been put on a knife edge as higher ups are keen on lying low. So far scooting has shown that the factory was in the Dragon Flats, near the Amon Dam, nearly build in the years after the fall of the United Republic as a hydroelectric plant. The Amon Dam is the main source of power for the area though most of it seems to be reserved for industry, particularly the factory with rolling blackouts common in the area. The factory itself was one of Sato's Industries' building mechs and other vehicles for its war outside the city. Security is tight, high walls and electric fences surrounded the area and a group of equalist chi blockers and a trio of mechs patrolled the premises. There is an alarm system which is linked to a nearby police forces and local Chi Blocker base. Response when the alarm is triggered would be quick.

Having already gone over adrien's plan for the factory destruction the night before. Adrien and her cell with the assistance of Mia split up when the ralley began on the other side if town. Adrien and mia would draw any of the equalist patrol away from the factory, so toru his group could plant his bombs.

"The ralley has started Mia it time for us to attract the equalist to us and away from the factory." Adrien said as she lowered her blue spirit mask over her face. she destroyed some of the equalist security towers around the factory. Few being empty because they were at the rally. She was hoping to draw the attention of their lieutenant. This scared her a bit as Haiti had almost caught her a few times but this also excites her.

Mia took a deep breath before nodding at Mia. She was dressed quite differently then the day she first introduced herself. She wore a black robe which hugged closely to her body to allow maximum movement, on it wore the breast plate and gauntlets from her Kioshi warrior outfit. She wore her traditional white face paint though she covered most of it with a black bandana across her lower face. Her sword normally worn on her side was now hanging from her back with her fans hanging from her belt on either side of her hips. "I am ready." She reached to her pocked a took out a few pallets and offered it to Adrien. "A gift from the Restorationist. Smoke bombs good if you need a quick get away." She said.

Her eyes only showed a firm serious look, internally she was giddy with excitement. It has been a while she was in a sabotage mission, and she was both keen and worried. She took another deep breath, she was trained and one of the best of her order she could do this. She draw a bag from her belt and moved to the main street nearby and emptied its contents across it. Caltrop for the patrol that would be coming to investigate the towers. Before moving quickly behind cover behind a parked car. "Cars comming!" She called out drawing her sword. "Time for some fun."

Drawing adequate attention away from the north side of the factory. Trying to give toru an opening into the factory. Not wanting the enemy to get to close to them Adrien gets into a position and around her arms light up in extremely hot fire as she takes aim at the cars tires. She didnt want them to get to close to her and mia.
"Leave the cars to me. Start heading into the city." Adrien said fire on the ground in front and around the cars. Cars begin to slow as their tires begin to melt and catch fire. Adrien left in a hurry towards the nearest building and using fire stepping technique she scaled the tall 4 story building to the roof top leaving foot prints as a trail.
Adrien next goal was to head for the giant water tower a couple blocks over in west. Hoping the modify equalist grappling gun would help mia get to the same point but as most of Adrien's group were benders it hasn't been tested in the field. Adrien continue to leave a trail behind her.

Toru moved awkwardly through the dark streets towards the factory, dressed in black and keeping cover in alleyways and cards. The factory was not far away, there was a side road that lead into the factory. The metal gate prevented access to that road and there was a thick wall preventing another access to the factory apart from the gate. The factory was visible over the wall, despite being late in the evening there was still smoke bellowing from the smoke stack and light in the window. War production did not end with the setting of the sun, adding to the difficulty of the operations. They had to evacuate any civilians inside before they detonate the explosives and hope they didn't interfere with their operations.

The gate soon came into view as the took cover in the shade of a dark alley nearby. In the front of the gate had a checkpoint hut with a four equalist chi blocker standing on guard. The gate it self had silvery shine to it which had made Toru suggest it was made from a pure metal. He doubted that he could metal bend it to get the pair of them inside. Luckily the plan did not involve going through the gate, there was a couple of abandoned houses in front of the factory walls they could use to tunnel underneath the wall. Still he and Getan had to watch the gate to see if the plan of the women's would work in drawing away the security inside. "What is the gate made of?" He wondered to Getan as they waited. Toru had managed to keep himself focused for the job but with the wait his mind was starting to wonder. "Equalist known to use platinum... Too expensive... Not enough available.... Pure Metal? Any metal would I suppose. Problem is purifying..."

Mai nodded and moved into the city as asked but not quite to do as Andrien planned. The planned called mostly for some more destruction. This was part of the plan Mai did not like, it would not take several burning cards to draw the equalist guards away in her opinion even if it was done by benders. They needed something more to draw their attention. She needed to do something more for all her sisters and all others who came in with in Republic city and did make it. There was an Chi Blocker facility nearby, where some of them rested and did their administrative work. That was her target, and she had toru build a special explosive just for them. Reaching nearby she saw only two guards standing outside. Not a problem for someone like her, she reached for her back and set the timer for three minutes before drawing her sword and charging. With 30 second she had managed to over power the guards and quickly through the explosive through the window. She ran just making out of reach when the explosion rocked the buidling.
