Atom Bomb Apocalypse
It's been one-hundred years since the atom bombs fell. You've been locked away in an IsoChamber for the past ninety-eight years. IsoChamber is a term coined by the Tribunals Group™, a private research company for suspended animation. Now usually, when people think of suspended animation, they think of cryostasis and long, interstellar journeys. But instead, the Tribunals Group™ undergoes a process that drains the human body of blood and replaces it with a low-temperature solution called Substance KR-39, also known as "Karry". After a prolonged suspension, the IsoChamber drains the KR-39 from your veins and reintroduces your blood into your circulatory system. Then with a shock from defibrillators, the body is awakened.

The world is shit, as you could've probably guessed. You were awakened from your IsoChamber with not much instruction, other than a few manuals on how to handle sidearms and an old survival guide. As you began to roam around your IsoChamber in the IsoPod¹. Other people are beginning to wake up so you know that whatever loot is left, you're going to have to locate fast before someone beats you to it.

You rush into the warehouse room, which isn't much of a warehouse, more like a 10x10ft shed. You swing open the sliding aluminium door and feast your eyes upon three muscle racks with storage trunks, canned food, bottled water, and other items of spoils on it.

You grab a burgundy Jansport backpack and start filling it up with supplies. You grab two walkie talkies with a pack of batteries, binoculars, a crank flashlight, aspirin, ibuprofen, matchsticks, canned apricots, bottled waters, and a box of .45 ACP. You begin to desperately search for a pistol and stumble across an M1911 with two empty magazines. You fiddle around loading the .45 ACP you just found into the magazines and load one into the pistol.

There's still plenty of loot left but you can begin to hear people stir in the IsoPod. What do you do?

A. Continue looting
B. Try to find an exit
C. Look around the compound a bit more
D. Barricade yourself in the warehouse and wait for everyone to disperse

1- An IsoPod is a collection of 20 IsoChambers, usually located underground. IsoChambers were monitored by a staff consisting of a psychologist, multiple physicians, and an administrator appointed by the Tribunals Group.

You walk around the compound, sneaking past the group of people. You find a medicine chest full of antibiotics, bandages, first aid kits, and splints. What do you do?

A. Take it all.
B. Take 3/4ths of it.
C. Take half of it.
D. Leave all of it.

You go ahead and take half of the medicinal supplies. The sound of people stirring is getting louder and closer. What do you do?

A. gtfo lamo
B. Continue looking for more supplies
C. Hide somewhere
D. Try to talk to the others in your IsoPod

B. There might be useful stuff around and knowing there will be psychopaths hunting other people down out there, I really don't think we should go anywhere without something that can help with wounds. For now, we have a gun, so "persuading" unarmed greedies away shouldn't be a problem.

You begin to sleuth around the underground compound further. You stumble upon a utility closet with the door slightly cracked open. You ready your M1911 as you swing open the door to reveal a young man standing in the middle of the closet, grabbing turpentine, duct tape, and he was moving his hand towards a wrench when he whips around and stares at you. Time seems to slow as you make your next choice.

A. Shoot him
B. Holster your gun and talk to him
C. Talk to him at gunpoint
D. Close the door and move on

The boy's voice is shaky, "L-listen to me. Before you do anything rash, I can help you. I was uh... I was a doctor before the bombs dropped! Yeah, a doctor!" he's visibly shaking. "Take me with you and I can patch up your wounds and shit real nice!" The boy is wearing a hoodie, slacks, and some sneakers. He barely has stubble on his face. He can't be any older than sixteen, surely not old enough to be a doctor.

What do you do?
A. Shoot him
B. Question him
C. Bring him with you
D. Walk away

A.

Here's my reasoning:
He's clearly lying, but he's also a total pussy. Granted, he is being held at gunpoint. Despite that, his clothing and tone suggest he isn't exactly the nicest type, so he might try to attack us if we turn around. In addition, the stuff he took looks nice and the fact that he's reaching for a wrench, again, suggests he'll attack. I'd shoot him, take his stuff, and then run away since people will clearly be attracted to the noise made by the gunshot.

Time slows. You stare into his eyes as your finger squeezes on the trigger. As the bullet propels itself toward your victim, his eyes widen. Then life speeds back to normal pace. He falls where he stands and slumps against the shelves. You hastily look through his pockets.

You've found:
  • $10
  • a package of gum
  • a half-depleted roll of duct tape
  • a comb
  • a laser pointer
Although, there's still the turpentine, extension cords, tape, wrenches, glue, etc. on the shelves. But you were right. The sound is attracting people. Your ears are still ringing. You try to move towards the exit but three men are standing there, trying to open the door. They see you and see a gun in your hands. What do you do?

A. Shoot the one closest to you
B. Shoot the one furthest to you
C. Try to knock them aside and run away
D. Try to talk to them

A. Shoot a shot to graze the person nearest to me while shouting at them to back up and let me pass.

They ignore your warning and instead charge at you wielding a pipe, wrench, and a club. Whaddya do?

A. Sprint in the other direction
B. Start spraying at them
C. Try to juke around them and get out
D. Find somewhere to lock yourself up at

You run in the other direction. You find an empty hallway. You hear feet stomping after you. What do you do?

A. Take your life
B. Sit and wait and try to talk shit out
C. Ruin all of your gear so they can't get anything
D. Get ready for a fight

You reload your gun and start aiming in the direction of the thundering footsteps. The three men bolt around the corner. You shoot one of them in the leg and they fall to the ground, tripping one other. Your next shot is an ace. The bullet flies through the oncoming man's head. With one man incapacitated, and the other one temporarily disabled, what do you do?

A. Run towards the exit again
B. Finish off the other two
C. Try to loot the dead one
D. Start to sleuth around the compound again

B. They will definitely try to catch my leg if I run out and it's too risky to leave them alive as they might try to get revenge later. Finish them off, quickly search for any goodies, and leave before it's too late.

As you begin to walk towards them to execute them, the other one that tripped springs up at you. He heaves his tire iron over his head and whacks you on the shoulder. Intense pain surges throughout your left body. In retaliation, pushed by a wave of adrenaline, you shoot the man dead. Three shots to the chest, one to the throat. Infuriated by this man's actions, you walk over to the other one, who's weeping and grasping onto his leg. Mucus is pouring out from his nose and his face is red. He begs you not to kill him. That he said he never saw you and he'll tell the others some bandit tried to raid them.

What do you do?
A. Kill him, he knows too much.
B. Knock him out cold to ensure your escape
C. Give him some medical supplies and make your way out
D. Apologize and ask for his forgiveness

You leave him with a syringe of morphine, a roll of gauze, and a handful of alcohol wipes. He thanks you. You begin to make your way to the exit, and you do so peacefully. You walk out of the door and the light blinds you. The sun is shining brightly today. In front of you is rubble. Then, a bullet flies past you. You duck into cover behind a piece of debris. What do you do?

A. Shout at them and try to extend an offer of peace
B. Wait them out
C. Try to confront them
D. Attempt to run away

B. It's too dangerous to confront them or run away without knowing the number and positions of attackers. A peace offering might not work considering that they attacked us out of the blue and giving away supplies is a rather meh option.

As you sit and wait, gun in hand, you hear glass crunching from beyond your position. What do you do?

A. Spring up and shoot the thing coming towards you
B. Wait a little bit longer
C. Try to talk to whatever's coming up on you
D. Sprint back inside the bunker
