Character Summary
It isn't uncommon for highly intelligent people to completely throw their lives away, and Arnie Winston is possibly one of the best examples of that. After getting involved with the wrong people in high school, Arnie failed to even graduate. His father - his main source of financial and emotional support - was extremely disappointed, claiming that he would have to earn his manhood back. When the war started and Arnie was forced to enlist in the draft, he thought of it being the perfect was to earn his family's trust and respect back. He is now a Private First Class Paratrooper serving in Japan.

Name Meaning: "Arnie" is derived from the name "Arnold," a name of German origin that means "eagle's power."
Name Origin: "Arnold" comes from German Origins, while "Nikolas" is Greek. The surname "Winston" has unknown origins.
Nicknames: Arnie never had any nicknames growing up. However, once enlisted in the Army, his fellow soldiers took upon the habit of calling him "Pretty Boy" due to his extensive hygiene and care for his appearance.
Preferred Title: Arnie doesn't really care what people call him. He honestly finds it kind of funny (and slightly flattering) when his cohorts call him "Pretty Boy."

Sexual Orientation: Arnie is bisexual and biromantic, although he is a bit in denial about his attraction towards men.
Status: Arnie has a girlfriend back home. However, their relationship is based mainly on physical aspects and has slowly begun to deteriorate since he left.
Siblings: Arnie has an older brother who is extremely intelligent. He played football throughout his high school career, and he is almost finished with medical school. Arnie has always felt as though he was merely a shadow of his brother, never able to live up to the expectation that were set.

Appearance
Height: Arnie stand at an even 6'0". However, his relaxed demeanor often allows for slouching.
Weight: Arnie weighs around 170 pounds.
Build: Arnie is neither thin nor thick. He has an average build, but his body had become very toned since his enlistment.
Hair Color: Dark Brown
Hair Style: While Arnie doesn't allow his hair to grow too long, he refuses to get a buzz cute. At the shaggy length that he usually keeps it, small curls often form. He also has multiple cowlicks that sometimes give his hair a mind of its own.
Hygiene: Arnie cares A LOT about his physical appearance. He tries his best to look what he deems is the most attractive to the opposite gender. Bathing and other typical hygenic activities are a must. However, he often allows for stubble and unkempt hair as it gives him the "bad boy" look that he likes to take on.
Ethnicity: Arnie is 50% German and 50% Greek.
Eye Color: Arnie's eyes are a gorgeous light blue. However, when he is angry or upset, they darken to an intense gray.
Facial Structure: Arnie's facial structure resembles that of his Greek family members. He has a strong square jawline and high cheekbones. While his nose is somewhat small for someone of Greek descent, he still pertains a subtle hook on his nose.
Bodily Structure: Arnie has an average build, almost a completely straight line down his body. His shoulders are somewhat broad, but not so much that it's extremely noticeable. He does have a good bit of lean muscle.
Scars: Arnie has multiple scars from things such as falling off his bike and getting into blade fights back in high school. He, however, has been lucky enough not to earn any major wounds that have left him immensely or noticeably scarred.
Health: Arnie presumes that he's as healthy as a horse. However, heart disease runs in his family. And the stress of the military has been giving him slight chest pains as of late.
Physical Quirks: Arnie is bow-legged.
Voice: Arnie has a harsh New Jersey accent. He is sometimes hard to understand, especially when he is yelling or crying.
Clothing: Arnie is almost always either wearing an olive or tan pressed shirt and matching trousers or a khaki combat uniform with a helmet. When not on duty, he often wears simple clothes. Jeans, a t-shirt, and perhaps a jacket.
Personality
Persona: On the outside, Arnie always appears cool and collected. He gives off an easy-going vibe, always accompanied with a crooked smile and sarcastic comeback. He's a friend of everyone, always ready to make a joke and lighten a dark mood. Things that visibly upset him are mentions of his father and people telling him that he needs to try harder.
Anima: On the inside, Arnie feels like quite the outcast. He attempts to make up for his insecurity through jokes and good looks. However, he never feels like he can truly live up to anyone's expectations. He'll always be a step behind in his mind, and he beats himself up for it. It's possible to say that he may even hate himself a bit.
Strengths: Charismatic, physically strong, intelligent, well-liked, knowledge of vehicles, quick on his feet, witty, physically attractive, good with dogs and children.
Weaknesses: Doesn't apply himself, second guesses himself, insecure, weak swimmer, hot temper, does things without thinking, gets distracted easily.

Dislikes: Being judged, being questioned, his father, himself, his questionable sexuality, swimming, school.
Romanticism: Arnie has never really put much thought into romance. While he whole-hearted believes in love, he doesn't see himself as the type to fall in love. Relationships for him are usually only physical. That doesn't mean that he is incapable of falling in love, however. When he does, though, he will probably not know how to handle his feelings properly.
Habits: Arnie has been smoking since high school and now goes through at least a pack a day.
