It's been long since the last faint memories of the real warm sun, the grass beneath our feet and the soft breeze of the summer wind faded into the time frame. Most of us even lost track of what year it was. Earth as we knew it crumbled due to reasons now taught with history hollow tapes. A god damn plague that spread like wildfire. Those who managed to make it in time to the portal chamber managed to survive. Three thousand of us warped to what we now call our home - "The Logs". A virtually created reality that doesn't even begin to touch the universe that was once our residence.
"The Logs", or to put it simply - our new world, is a combination of sixteen different segments: The living quarters, which is a spaceship design resembling dormitory, the educational facility used to educate children from ages 7 to 18 and fourteen simulation chambers, which are basically work places for people who have gone through the educational facility successfully.
These chambers are used for simulating the reality that once was. Each operated by a team of programmers provides a suitable environment for people to enter the simulation for various purposes such as research, education and training. ARA, or "Antiquity Revision Agency" is the twelveth installment in the series. It is occupied by those who have gotten the best evaluation in both physical and mental performance during their time in the educational facility. It trains these young adults the proper ways of fighting, solving problems and lending a helping hand while also studying the possibility of returning to such a world.
This particular simulation chamber puts people into a medieval style world, however, filled with magic, witchcraft and other unexplained phenomena. What's most interesting about it is that things the people learn from there stay for their next simulations. It's like playing a video game and saving your progress. Members of ARA go through various different missions that vary from escorts, to trading, to actual war battles. It's all up to the simulation as the staff have limited control over it.
You are the new recruits who joined ARA right after graduation. Your first assignment in ARA will be given once you go through the preparation procedure, which creates your individual in the virtual medieval fantasy world.
