The datamine back then said there's gonna be a real estate office coming in a future update... I pray it'll give us more room for villagers.

same here, and it's mostly due to my OCD when looking at how when you complain about a villager to Isabelle you can see there's room for two more Villagers and there are three villagers in each row.
