It's a very well written character sheet! Well balanced and consitant. My only question is: did she stay in Alaska long enough to become an EMT/SAR dog handler? How long did she stay in EMT handling? How far is she willing to go in the apocalypse, what are her morals? Where did she get her supplies? Why does she trust people, despite being shuffled from house to house in the foster system? What about her fiancee, did his death leave any scars on her?

Thanks for reading through it! Very good questions. I will work adding that in. Here are the answers though: She went through SAR handler training in Alaska, and when Koda was retired she quit, moved back to Atlanta, became a paramedic, and later met her fiancé. His death made her doubt the existence of love, romantic or otherwise, because he was also her best friend. She will take care of her own group, but other survivors and outsiders are mostly on their own. She ransacks homes and buildings for supplies later in the apocalypse, but at the beginning she was in a refuge camp. It was overrun and she escaped with some supplies. Her decision to trust people depends on the dogs. If they trust them, she'll be more willing to give them a chance.

So she's more of a, "I'll do what it takes to protect me and my family or friends" character than a, "free space to everyone?" Does she have a hard time naturally trusting people because she has no close bonds other than her dog? How does she handle emergency situations? What's pushing her to continue, even through the apocalypse?

Yes to the first 2 questions. She's learned humans close to her either die, or betray her. She keeps a cool, level head in most emergency situations because she's had so much vast experience with emergencies and disasters. She still wants to find her sisters, and she's been so determined for so long to survive that giving up just isn't an option. She wants to survive to care for the dogs, find her sisters and prove to herself that she can survive in any situation. Thanks for taking the time to read this and ask questions. It's been really helpful.

I really like this character. She's incredibly well thought out. I had similar questions to the ones posed in the previous comments but since you've addressed those I only have one other issue with it.

Being placed in an out-of-state home while in foster care is incredibly difficult. There's so much paperwork involved. (So much more than what would be for her to swap homes in the same city/county.) Not to mention that if she were kicked out of a certain amount of homes, she would have been sent to a group home. There are specific group homes for "unplaceable" children. They are usually filled with other children who have similar pasts.

Ah, spotted a minor mistake.

"Each new place, she looked for her younger sisters, but she never did."

Other than that really nothing I can see to criticise. Good job!

I like her for many different reasons:

1. No offense to anyone, but rarely do we see characters who embrace their ownership of pets as much as real humans do. I like that she has her dogs and loves them enough to mention them.

2. Phoenix seems to have some true human qualities. I love characters that make me hate them though love the true sense of humanity and the same need to look passed flaws as you do in the real world.

Thank you. I've tried to make her realistic.

1. Most people who's characters have pets don't make them as important.

2. I want my characters to be flawed, and get have redeeming qualities. I haven't met any humans who are completely good, or completely bad. It's interesting to see her face her flaws, doubts, insecurities, etc in the roleplays I've used her in.
