• For demigods, minimum age is 16 and maximum is 20
• For gods, minimum age is 23 and maximum is 35.
• Demigods are allowed a maximum of 2 powers - skill level intermediate or lower.
• Demigod powers are allowed to progress higher than intermediate level later on.
• Not a rule, but please make your characters original (I don't won't to come across another 'nyaa~' character)

• Any type of faceclaim is allowed.
• Characters should be detailed and well planned out.
• Unless you have discussed it with me or my secondary GM, you cannot have any significant 'secret plans' for your character.
• Of course, if a role is already taken, do not apply for it. That's just asking for drama.
• Maximum number of characters you can play is four.
• Either Clio, or I will like your post if your character has been accepted.

PERSONALITY​

Though often outspoken, for his natural tendency to listen rather then speak, Hades is quite a strong willed individual. It's not often that he will back down or submit to someone or something. In the cases he does, he is obviously looking at the rationality of such, in the event his life or another's life depends on it. Hades is not nearly as cruel and cold-hearted as some think, he will show compassion and sympathy. However, just because he is not necessarily harsh, he does look at the negatives and positives to determine his opinion on someone. He is not one to overlook wrong doings, and will often confront a person, if he is at all associated with such person. Otherwise, he would much prefer to keep to himself, and keep out of other people's business.
In terms of friendships, Hades is open to such. Though, only a select few will gain the title of 'friends', everyone else are 'acquaintances'.Hades does love having long conversations with someone about something meaningful. He is not so keen on hearing about gossip or rumours. Though Hades is not the greatest at making people happy, he will be there to support a friend if they are feeling down.

APPEARANCE​

Hades stands at a pretty average height of 170cm. He has a slim physique with only toned biceps, otherwise he doesn't have much defined muscles. He has a fair skin tone, not overly light. Narrow jawline, high cheekbones and roundish almond shaped eyes having a deep green colour. His black hair is thin in volume and falls down to his mid-back - a fringe (that he doesn't really bother about) that is cut just at the bridge of his nose. He most often wears it up in a ponytail.
Hades' taste of clothing is usually of a semi-casual code - white button shirt, black jeans/trousers, an overcoat or jack and a loose tie. He will always, always wear enclosed shoes, usually plain black.

ABILITIES​

Hades' abilities consist of: speed, stamina, sword wielding, accuracy and observing.
Because of his slim physique, Hades is probably able to run fast with less effort. He has definitely defined and refined this skill. He is very quick on his feet, and can react in great timing in combat. His stamina assists in his fast movements, making the period of time before he looses breath to be drawn out longer.
Though he is experienced in sword handling, this is only inclusive to light swords. If he was to use a bigger or heavier sword, his control and flow would definitely be hindered. Small blades like daggers and knives are also most suited for Hades, though he definitely prefers swords like katana or firangi.
In addition, Hades has great defence. He is a great observer, and if given enough time, he will be able to almost everytime, counter his opponent's attacks. This proves that he can estimate well and counter with high accuracy. Though, in cases, his opponent has definitely caught onto such and changed movements, confusing Hades.

WEAKNESSES​

Hades' weaknesses consist of: strength, hand-to-hand combat, flexibility and stealth.
Hades is not particularly strong, other than using a sword with ease. He can be easy to overpower, but that won't quite kill off Hades' determination. Because he isn't physically strong, he is great at hand-to-hand combat as his punches and kicks aren't that powerful. Though, he can, and will use his speed as an advantage to his disadvantage.
Though his is quick on his feet and has fast reflexes, depending on the degree of an attack, he won't be able to dodge it. He is not experienced in doing any sort of acrobatic movement.

Oliver is almost the very definition of optimism. He's a glass half-full kind of guy through and through, almost to the point that it's sickening. But without people like Olly in the world, things would be boring, dark, and dreary. Some might describe the guy as a flowerchild, always happy, always out in nature, always bright. His optimism might lead you to think him daft and stupid, but quite the opposite is true. Granted that he isn't a genius when it comes to booksmarts, he knows enough to get him through what he needs to, and his common sense makes up for what he lacks in knowledge. Olly is the kind of guy you might turn to when you need a hug, or when you need advice, or even when you just need somebody to listen to you. He's compassionate and caring, and this is always on display. Oliver can have his moods though, ones when he might not be as cheery, and he might not be as social, but chances are that you'll always catch him in a good mood.

APPEARANCE​

Bright is the first word to come to mind when somebody might look at Oliver. His skin is lightly tanned, his hair a warm, dusty blonde, and his eyes a rich green. Oliver stands at a rather average 5'9, or 175 cm respectively. He isn't necessarily ripped, but nor is he scrawny; he boasts a rather average cut, somewhat toned, but not bulky. He's got rather square facial features, not box-like exactly, but he's certainly no egg-head. On an average day, Oliver can be seen wearing a simple, generally brightly colored, t-shirt or v-neck, with either shorts or blue jeans to go with it. He's seen with few accessories, aside from a bracelet or two on his left wrist.

HISTORY​

Oliver grew up by the water, living with his mother for the longest time. He would always do whatever he could to make sure he kept his mother happy, often cooking her meals (he learned at an early age to cook), buying her flowers, or just hanging out with her. Around the age of eight, he learned that he wasn't exactly normal. He had been on a walk on a nature trail close to his house, the beach on one side of him, and a forest on the other. He had stopped to take a break, taking a seat on the soft grass of the forested side, when all of the sudden he felt flowers creeping around his arms, wrapping around him. They weren't harming him, no, but rather they seemed drawn to him, or so he thought. What actually was happening was his first use of his plant manipulation power, which he learned later on. From that point on he practiced with this ability, which led to his discovery of yet another of his powers. He found that just by transferring his happy feelings, his brightness, to something, he could make it come to life, though not permanently. He is certainly no master of these abilities, but he finds them fun to experiment with, and they make him happy. Something he found rather odd when he was small was his mother's insistence that he knew how to defend himself. Her persistence on the matter led him to take sword-fighting classes, which taught him discipline and some level of mastery with a blade.

ABILITIES​

•Plant Manipulation: He has a beginner's understanding of how to manipulate plant life. He can move them, and grow already alive plants, but he cannot create new ones or use plants offensively.
•Animation: By transferring his happiness into an object, he can make it come to life for short periods of time.

•Sword-fighting: He's no master, but he's got a good understanding of how to fight with a blade. This skill he picked up rather quickly, and he finds that as he practices he gets better and better.

PERSONALITY​

Clarissa is known for her very calming personality. She rarely ever seems perturbed by the events around her, always carrying either a neutral face or one with a light smile. Even when she is upset, she might not ever show it, knowing that showing anger will only exacerbate the problem. Generally, people find their anger tempered, but this sometimes has the opposite effect that she wants as her calm personality makes her seem as though she is acting superior, irritating the other person. She often doesn’t realize how emotional other people can be because of the way that she carries herself. In this way she can act rather egocentric, not thinking about other people’s perspectives.


Despite seeming to have little emotion though, she does have strong feelings. In fact, many of the actions that she takes are made based upon what her emotions dictate. Of course, she carefully thinks through most of the predicaments she finds herself in, but sometimes she can’t help but act impulsively. Even so, she isn’t one to regret her decisions, able to rationalize anything she’s done after it has already happened.

APPEARANCE​

Clarissa stands fairly tall 5’9” with a rather fit body. She has very strong arms, since using the longbow requires a lot of strength, and her muscles show clearly through loose clothing. She has an oval face with dark brown eyes and a simple shaved haircut. Generally, she’ll wear lighter colors for her top and darker colors for her pants. She prefers more formal clothing, wearing a light blue, white, or gray button-up shirt with a less formal blue jeans, as she sacrifices formality with function. The button-up is moderately loose, allowing easy movement, and she usually has the sleeves rolled up to her elbow. She also wears an archery glove on her right hand and a necklace of a ring.

ABILITIES​

Clarissa is very strong, strong enough to rival many men even in her human state. She is also very skilled with the bow. Her aim is almost always on target, and she is able to judge the movement and speed of the target in order to shoot where they will be. She has very good eyesight, able to see farther than most humans. She is also a quick draw, usually able to take down all enemies before they’re able to reach her or her allies. Her aim translates in other areas too, able to throw daggers and spears with accuracy as well.

WEAKNESSES​

Though she is good at ranged attack, she lacks the ability to fight in a close range. She is proficient enough to last in a fight with someone of little close combat experience, but anyone who knows how to fight will easily defeat her, unless she manages to get lucky. She also isn’t the fastest with her reflexes, which only worsens her ability to fight in close combat. Sometimes she also lets her guard down, getting lost in thought, which makes her susceptible to surprise attacks.

PERSONALITY​

With a volatile temper and the personality of a protector, Adrian can sometimes come off as intimidating and/or violent. Most of the time, it’s on accident simply because he’s not great at controlling his emotions. When it comes to friends, Adrian forgets about consequences in order to protect them. Those that don’t know him see him as a loose cannon, going off the rails at someone who hasn’t provoked him personally. He’ll do practically anything for those closest to him. And, while he almost expects others to come to him with any problems, he doesn’t extend the same courtesy. He keeps any issues he’s facing to himself.

When Adrian isn’t riled up, he’s generally a kind person, if not a little headstrong. He doesn’t care for answers like ‘just ‘cause’, or ‘because I said so’, and quickly writes off people who try to use that as an explanation more than once. However, if someone can provide a viable reason for him to listen to them, he will. He loathes people who think they know everything. Adrian is very much his own person, and that can be annoying to some.

Not much can stress Adrian out, mainly because he lets off steam quite frequently in everyday life. He’s calm up until he’s angry and then there’s no stopping him. There isn’t much of an in between with Adrian. He’s smart but that’s often overlooked in lieu of the more prominent facets of his personality. With the majority of problems, he’ll think them through rationally and try to come up with a solution. Again, it’s the chance that one of these problems affects someone close to him where he loses it. It’s one of the least helpful things he could do, and rationally he knows it, but instinctively, he just doesn’t care.

APPEARANCE​

Standing at an even 5’9’’, Adrian’s height isn’t anything special. If anything, it has caused people to underestimate him in the past. His eyes are his most noticeable feature; a piercing brown that can appear black in the right light. The rest of his facial features aren’t overtly defined, and he has a smattering of facial hair that he finds bothersome. His hands are rough and calloused, bearing a number of small scars on the knuckles and palms.

On a typical day, Adrian wears a short sleeved shirt underneath a hooded jacket, possibly two. He wears jeans and tennis shoes almost religiously, many of the pants he has already ripped in some previous scuffle. He sticks to darker colors because he finds them more aesthetically pleasing.

HISTORY​

For a number of years in his early childhood, Adrian was alone. After his first ‘fight’ at the age of 4, if shoving another child could be called a fight, many parents began to steer their children away from him. In what he soon recognized as isolation, Adrian only had one permanent fixture: his mother. A friend he’d had one day would shun him the next. His mother never yelled or criticized him -some called it bad parenting. She’d always believed Adrian when he said he had a reason, and he always did. Every altercation had started because of Adrian trying to protect someone else. That trust and love meant everything to him. It led him to develop his sense of loyalty.

For a few more years, Adrian continued to protect everyone. However, as he got older, Adrian realized his defense wasn’t welcomed by all. He mellowed out for close to three years, as he had no one to protect. During that time, because of the severe ups and downs he went through without a purpose, Adrian discovered one of his powers. Storms began to show up as if in reaction to his mood, the sky booming above him. Eventually, he realized it was because of him. The sky was reacting to him(he began to carry an extra jacket around this point).

Honing his power gave him an outlet, and he began to socialize more. He made some close friends, a couple left after his protectiveness started to reemerge, and Adrian understood that those who were still with him would be there for a long time.

ABILITIES​

Create Storms - The power to create, intensify, and dissolve storms. Adrian can create and dissolve storms on a medium-sized scale and can intensify almost anything, but if it’s too large he doesn’t have the ability to bring it back down.

Destabilization - The movement of the molecules inside a person or object is changed, destabilizing it. Adrian has no understanding of how to control this. It happens when his emotions reach a peak. Sometimes only marginally and sometimes on a larger scale. 90% of the time, Adrian won’t even realize he’s doing anything.

Endurance - With all the fights Adrian has gotten into over the years, he’s developed quite a bit of stamina.

WEAKNESSES​

Adrian has a few major weaknesses. First and foremost, his loyalty. If a friend were to ask him to do anything, anything, short of killing someone, and maybe even then, Adrian would do it. There’s no question. This means that the right person can easily take advantage of him. He’d also do anything to protect them if his friends were in trouble. This can lead to many stupid or careless decisions on his part. He’d walk into any situation if it would help them.

Another of Adrian’s failings is his inability to fight at a distance. Though he’s proficient with close-quarters-combat, Adrian has never fought ranged. He hasn’t ever had a reason to. He’s clueless with most ranged weapons, and whatever aim he has at a distance gets worse the farther he goes. Finally, when Ardian gets too aggravated, he can lose his concentration on his powers. This means they might just randomly start working without conscious thought.

Anderious stands at about six feet five inches, to say he was a small child would be a very big mistake. HIs hair is as brown as the gods great earth and his skin has a tanish hue to it that makes it undinalable that he spent a lot of his time out as a youth outside. due to his short time in the military, he has small scars and cuts all along his arms and chest and back. HISTORY​

There are tales of heroes and villains and this is one of them. The best tales all begin with pain and suffering. Andreous's life had never been easy. He grew up without a father. It had never been easy to deal with, especially a young boy. Someone to look up to and dreamed of becoming one day. He watched in torment as the other little boys got to play and work with their father's, while little Andreous sat alone. He didn't let anyone see that it tortured him. He had always done that, hide his feelings.

He grew up from little Andreous to be a rather strapping young lad. Even without a father, his outlook on life never changed. He didn't show the emotion that he truly felt. He would watch the soldiers growing up. He always thought it was just his prideful nature that made him yearn to be a soldier, but it was something rather different. He joined the nation's standing army. That was where he, a son of Ares, could grow into the best that he could be.

Having been raised by her father in a cabin in the mountains, Lexi had a rough start when it came to integrating socially. Sure, her father was diligent about taking his daughter to the school at the bottom of the mountain, at least when the snow did not prevent safe travel, but it was difficult to integrate socially when one lived so far removed from everyone else. So rather than keep trying and failing, Lexi began to become even more introverted and broody. She became especially tight-lipped about things that troubled her, making her true feelings about things a complete mystery to even the man who raised her.

PERSONALITY​

Ari loves happiness, and happiness loves her back. With a wide smile eternally present on her face, she's become known for her optimistic and playful personality, which shines through her actions. Always going out of her way to help those who may need her, she's selfless and tries to never, at least actively, put herself first. Ari has a big heart and a vivid imagination, which always comes in handy. Although she has a temper, it's quite difficult to get her angry, causing people to walk all over her until she has enough. Her desire to see the best in people is probably what stops her from saying something at first, but there's only so much she can handle, too. She protects those she loves fiercely, and never holds back to aid someone in danger.

However, Ari has a real problem with motivation. Due to her fast mind, her ideas work quicker than her actions, and she's left exhausted and a bit irritated. She enjoys lazy summer afternoons more than anything, and often finds it troublesome to even get out of bed. Her curiosity gets the best of her, often leading her into trouble. Arie does not talk about herself with anyone, and avoids it as best as she can. Some say she's a very good listener. She's only really affectionate with those she deems to be really, really close to her, but can always give an amicable hug to whoever needs it. Every once in a while, she isolates herself for a couple of days, taking the time to rest and meditate. Clumsiness, sadly, seems to be her main characteristic, having broken so many things in her life she just avoids touching them altogether.

APPEARANCE​

When asked about it, Ari considers herself to be average, at best. Standing at the standard height of 5'5 [1.68 cm], she also is what most consider skinny, weighing only 103 pounds [47 kg]. The first noticeable thing about her is her porcelain skin, white as snow, and free of any kind of blemish. Her long legs have also gained a lot of attention lately, specially whenever she uses dresses. Ari's doe eyes are painted a dark shade of shiny brown, and often give her an aura of innocence she's not aware about. Her button nose is small and almost unnoticeable, thought the tip tends to fade to a vivid red color whenever she's cold. Her luscious lips are, more often than not, painted red, pink, or coral.

Ari's face is round and lights up whenever she smilles, which is, to be honest, quite regularly. Her light brown hair falls all the way to her shoulders in soft waves. Ari does not care to style it in any way. As far as style goes, dresses are certainly her favority, although, ironically, she hates summer. However, she knows they are not exactly the comfiest clothing item to fight in, so she may also use skinny jeans, paired with a cute t-shirt and her usual white converse. One can know everything she's feeing just by looking at her face and the way she carries herself through every situation. Her voice is soft and can often go without hearing, which is why most people think she's weak or has no opinion on her own, but that couldn't be further from the truth. Ari just wishes for them to realize that being soft does not mean she's not empowered.

ABILITIES​

Being small and light, Ari mostly excels in defense and surveillance. She can make her presence invisible no matter where she's at, and more often than not ends up being the spy that walks straight into the lion's den to get whatever enemy information she can come across. She has great sense of smell, being able to distinguish different people by their scent. Her sight is also great, specially at night, when her eyes adjust to the darkness, leaving her to lead her comrades out in a safety manner. She does not use any special weapon, but can be proficient at hand-to-hand combat if the situation seems dire. Not liking to see people get hurt, she prefers to take a defensive stand instead of hitting the enemy, that way she can take all the damage until they either get tired or something else happens. She's never killed.

As far as defense goes, her loyal Aegis is always with her, giving her a sense of protection and stability. Having never failed her before, the Aegis can protect her against almost anything, proving she's quick enough to cover herself or another with it before the attack hits. Arie always cares to scan her surroundings whenever she's in a dangerous situation, defining escape plans before the fight has even started. Although her pain tolerance isn't really high, her stamina is, so she can resist injuries for a long time if she puts her mind on it, or if her body is being pumped with adrenaline. She's not one to leave her comrades behind. Lately, she's been using her innocent face to her advantage, claiming to be uninvolved with any kind of trouble, so she can collect information to be used by her own team.

WEAKNESSES​

Ari's level of concentration during fights has caused her some trouble before, being distracted by every little thing happening around her, letting her guard down more than once. Her big heart often seems like a liability, too, trying to see the best in people even if it means doubting her own comrades. Arie does not believe people are inherently bad, nor inherently good, either. For that, she's been manipulated a good number of times, which has forced her to harden her heart and try not to doubt what's said to her before a fight. On the other hand, one could not really describe her as strong, which is why she'll probably be overpowered if she's fighting closely with anyone much bigger than her.

She almost never thinks twice about the things she's going to do, resulting in a lot of consequences she isn't always ready to face. That, coupled with her seasonal depression, sometimes make her abandon everything and go into hiding, taking an obvious selfish decision. However, whenever she does something like that, she's not actually thinking about herself, more about those whom she's suppossed to be helping, being completely sure her presence isn't gonna matter anyway.
