One x One All Aboard The Wayfarer

Florence Harlow

Age: 23

Gender: Female, she/her pronouns; (agender as crew member, he/his or they/them pronouns)

Sexuality: Heterosexual

Height: 5’1

Weight: 99 pounds

Appearance:
Her hair is most often seen done up in different bunches, in order to prevent it from obstructing her work, but usually collected in twin horned buns. Her eyes are a forest green around the edges, but turn a nomad hazel and yellow towards the center. She has a dusky pink in tone, but it isn’t rare to see it smeared with grimy smudges, courtesy to her handy work. Her only scar from crafting that hasn’t faded lines down near the outward edge of her right eyebrow.

Clothing: (this is near impossible, I apologize: SORRY )

Occupation: By age 17, Florence had learned everything Professor Avis MagRaith had to teach her about weaponry, steampower, clockwork and aircraft engineering, and has run her own humble workshop ever since. Although she isn’t all that renowned for her work, she has crafted quite many inventions that have earned success, but she has cared not for any credit. The Queen herself has approved of many of Florence’s gadgets, and holds the engineer in a high esteem.

Personality: The genuine dedication she puts into her work keeps her grounded as a very simpleminded person, with an uncomplicated spectrum of emotions and perceptions. She isn’t one to stick closely to extreme norms of social conduct, and is not at all disturbed to remain an unsophisticated lady.

Other: She will frequently carry a tool pouch fastened to her belt, in case she is prompted to assist in fixing any device.

Aaron Constantine

Age: 26

Gender: Agender, they/them pronouns

Sexuality: Pansexual

Height: 6'

Weight: 165 pounds

Appearance: Their skin is somewhat tanner than most, though this depends on whether or not they have had the opportunity to clean themselves up on a given day. They do not have many visible scars, save for one that juts from their right cheekbone down to about an inch before the corner of their mouth. They have several other scars on their chest from fights, including a rather deep cut on their right shoulder from a particularly nasty scuffle with another orphan when they were younger.

Clothing: Aaron usually wears whatever they can salvage at the time, though they have a strong preference for dark colored clothing that is rather thick, like leather. They do not wear outright rags as they want to have some semblance of dignity about them and to give the people they sell their stolen wares to the illusion that they are at least somewhat trustworthy.

Occupation: A lowly thief, Aaron usually darts around homes and through the streets, taking what they can from vendors and unsuspecting civilians before selling them once again to other merchants.

Personality: A survivor at heart, Aaron will do whatever it takes to keep their neck away from the line and their heart still beating in their chest. This can stretch to fighting their way out of situations, though this is generally a poor decision on their part given that they are not the most muscular person on the street. They tend to exercise some caution and are very untrusting of everyone, as they know that there are many people like them wandering the streets, trying to make their own way through life as well.

Other: Carries a slim knife with themselves at all times that is hidden in the folds of their clothing.

Sawyer Tate Jackman

Age: 29

Gender: Male, he/him pronouns

Sexuality: Heterosexual

Height: 5’7

Weight: 146,7 pounds

Appearance: Sawyer’s smooth ebony tresses falling over his forehead are thin and neatly trimmed most of the time, reaching down to the middle of his neck and behind his ears; his gray eyes are often seen dimmed a darker shade due to the blanket of coal-clad clouds mantling the city. His skin is almost pasty pale, and he keeps his fair face clean shaven more often than not.

Clothing: He can often be seen wearing a white button-up shirt with folded sleeves under a four-button, U-neck, spruce blue vest, and plain umber slacks with suspenders. In his belt, sometimes, is fastened a small pouch of tools and basic writing/drawing supplies, as well as occasional rolled-up plans, drafts or sketches. His iconic taupe ivy cap is seldom missing atop his head.

Occupation: Sawyer Jackman makes a fine living as a high-caliber reckoner, working for the maritime industry, developing instructions for engines and other systems in watercrafts (involving passenger transport, sea freight, exploration and primarily sealift) but his firm grasp on mathematical knowledge has enabled him to delve into other devices, namely aircraft, weaponry analytical engines, clockwork and steampower. He is also privately hired by several engineers to deliver manuals to new machinery, tools and gadgets, and frequently explain these instructions.

Personality: It’s not uncommon for Jackman to come off as a presumptuous individual, and his intellect, which he believes to be superior to that of others most of the time, brings him to sneak subtle verbal remarks undermining the capabilities of those he considers lesser. In spite of this, Sawyer hides under a patronizing and somewhat stern layer a susceptible core, which leads him to easily grow to care for his acquaintances, and fret over their reckless procedures.
