Abilities:
-Duelist: Extensive training with her rapier allows her to cut down most opponents in single combat.
-Demonic resilience: the strength of her kind toughens her skin, making it act like a form of light armor.
-Demonic strength: Akita is naturally physically stronger than your average human.
-Darkvision: Akita can see normally in areas of low light, and can see up to 60 feet in complete darkness.
-Like a cornered animal: When Akita is brought down to her lowest, wounded, trapped, outnumbered or just stricken with fear or rage, demonic instincts begin to take over. Akita ceases to feel pain or fatigue and lashes out with an unnatural strength and speed! This frenzied retaliation comes at a heavy price taking a great toll on her stamina, in some cases she's been known to pass out from pure exhaustion. Multiple uses of this ability without at least 8 hours of continuous rest can lead to more extreme exhaustion and even death.
Personality: Akita is a cold and malicious person towards most, only showing respect towards either those that command a great deal of power or her own kin, towards the rest of the world she sees them as little more than stepping stones in her path. She loves to stay busy, and dislikes not having something to do, though when she does have free time she'll often be found reading or sleeping. Towards people who can stand her enough to become friendly, Akita begins to open up a bit more, she even becomes somewhat playful, displaying a side of her that's rarely been seen since the loss of her father.
History/Bio: Akita was born in Tenebris to a noble family, her mother Giliean served as a soldier in the war while her father Jarek was a trader from the Principality of Oceanius who used his funds and knowledge of the ocean to smuggle goods into Tenebris past the other kingdoms blockades. Together the two were able to afford themselves a comfortable living with the wealth and renown they had earned for their aid in the war efforts, that was when they got the news that they would be having a child, the two were obviously elated and made preparations immediately. Months later Akita was born a healthy human/demon half breed to two loving parents. Unfortunately due to known complications in the nature of demon births Giliean passed away only minutes after, just enough time to say goodbye to her baby girl.
The loss of his wife was difficult on Jarek, the two of them had been fully aware of the risks, but that did little to quell the feeling of loss. Jarek did his best to care for his daughter and overcome his grief for many years, he made sure Akita was literate and taught her to trade, hoping that one day she would join the merchants guild and follow in his footsteps. For years the two lived like this, Jarek maintained his business and tutored his daughter in almost everything, from mercantilism to swordsmanship, and Akita had a relatively care free childhood, she took to her lessons fairly easily and made a few friends around the kingdom. But though the two of them lived a sound life Jarek couldn't help but notice during his travels that demon kind was still shunned in many parts of the world. Jarek himself even got caught up in many arguments due to his position as a sympathizer and aid during the war.
In order to combat this thinking, Jarek came up with an idea, he would show the world that demons were not something to fear and in order to do this the other kingdoms needed to be exposed to pleasant, kind, hard working demons. And so, against all warnings he set out on a plan to integrate demons into The Glade. The Earth Kingdom seemed like a reasonable choice at the time, they were a peaceful nation, very little crime, it seemed like a perfect spot to settle. The initial group of demons found suitable homes and work, but problems quickly arose. As was expected, within the first few weeks tensions grew between the citizens of the earth kingdom and the demons, what wasn't expected was how quickly things escalated, flaring up out of control before peaceful negotiations could be made. The pique of the conflict arose when Jarek Wyndael was found dead in his home, killed in his sleep by an unknown assailant. This sent the demon citizens into a frenzy, accusations were thrown around, fights broke out, it was clear to all that this little experiment was a complete failure. The demons returned to their home in Tenebris the following morning.
After the demons return many people were willing to let the whole situation just fall into obscurity without investigation. Jarek had not gone without warning, he knew the risks of his little experiment, and to investigate into the murder would only further tensions with The Glade, which was not something anyone wanted to do especially after the great war. The investigation dropped, and people went on with their lives. This decision infuriated the young Akita, who was still grieving over the loss of her father when she heard that nothing was to be done about his death. While it was well known that the two had.. different thoughts regarding demons and humans, he was still her father.
Her mothers rapier in hand, blinded by anger at the world the young demon marched up to the castle and called out towards Deshwitat, she called him a coward and challenged him to a duel for his rule over the kingdom, a duel that he was quick to accept. The duel did not last long, not at all, it was very clear for all to see that the young demon, no older than 17 didn't have a shred of hope fighting against the current ruler. To add to her frustration, the king of dark hardly seemed to be taking the fight seriously! He was clearly holding back, even offering helpful remarks on each of her parried blows. Rage welled within the young demon and she began to lash out in a more feral manner, finally forcing Deshwitat to end the fight with a quick blow to the head, knocking her unconscious before she could hurt someone.
When she finally regained consciousness it was clear that she had lost, badly. The young demon left the kingdom that day, packing up her things and taking for the winding road towards Igninuim. There was nothing left for her in Tenebris, so she was determined to start her life somewhere new. Akita took up Mercenary work in her new home, her racial traits making her quite effective at the tougher jobs. Soon after she met up with Naria Alejandro and took up work as a personal guard for her business.

Teeth and claws: Due to her heritage Akita bears vicious fangs and retractable claws, as well as a barbed tail, she doesn't use these as weapons normally but when instincts take over these natural weapons can cause a great amount of damage.

A finely balanced rapier with a thin but sharp edge, a family heirloom handed down from her mother.
Other:
Her right horn is shorter than the left, it's a real sore spot for her that's better left unmentioned.
