Futuristic Adventures through hyper space

This rp takes place in a galaxy over run with crime, when the Union took over control after the great hyperspace war against the Hyperspace Federation the galaxy was in chaos due to the war. Many were homeless or poor and there were too many orphans for orphanages to handle, the economy was a mess and although the majority now supported the Union, there were still many who believed that the federation should still be in control and there were many rebellion. Not sure how to deal with this the Union spent most of its money making sure the planets of the inner rim were as perfect as they could be and leaving the outer planets to rot. You play as a smuggler, thief and occasional bounty hunter aboard the smuggling ship Andromeda. You travel the galaxy always looking for a new job.
