Adventure Time - OCs

Ooo

As the fog settled in the shallow bog, Shungila trudged through the rather gloomy swamp with much haste. She didn't quite remember what this place was called, nor did she really care. All she cared about was leaving this place, feeling creeped out by the surrounding area. She was afraid that she would eventually see something ominous in the fog. As she waded through the muck, she prayed silently to herself. She felt a sweet moment of relief as she finally found wet, yet stable ground to climb up on. For that moment, she observed what little area she could see. Thankfully, the day was still young, so she didn't have to worry about It for a while yet. She noted the trees and the debris that littered the bog ahead of her, looking for a possible path to take. She had no such luck.

Groaning internally while letting out a deep sigh, she hopped back into it, feeling a chill run down her spine as she landed on something hard, snapping it like a stick. Still keeping an eye on her surroundings, she moved forward, still feeling a sense of unease eat away at her. It wasn't long before she found a rotten, wooden raft of sorts floating alone in the water. It was big enough for her to rest on, so she took that chance and hoisted herself up. Afraid that this raft may still belong to someone, or something, she kept an eye out as she settled down for a few moments. If anyone indeed still owned this, they would be pretty surprised to see The Fox sitting on their raft. She wanted to avoid that, if possible. After all, she wasn't portrayed as the friendliest person in Ooo...

In the late hours of the night, Shunkaha found himself in the strangest city of them all. At least, in his opinion. The residents called this place the Candy Kingdom, where absolutely everything here was made of candy. Even the people. He had been here a few times, on more than one occasion. As he stopped by this place to rest, like he has several times, Banana Guards had arrested him on the spot. Apparently, something had happened in the kingdom that night, and he was falsely accused of attempted murder on a candy citizen. He thought that was bulldung, because it was probably an excuse to arrest The Wolf. Don't get him wrong, he had been arrested for real crimes here that he didn't intend to commit, but many kingdoms still fought for his head.

To them, a who knows how old being with a long history of criminal activity, minor offenses or worse, was nothing more than a status symbol at this point. Beside himself, Shunkaha sighed from extreme boredom as he sat in an interrogation room. Handcuffed, of course. Staring with a blank expression on his face, Shunkaha watched the angry officer in front of him rant on and on for what seemed like an hour. "...how long are you going to terrorize the people?! How could you do the terrible things you do without a second thought..." That was one of the few things that Shunkaha had pulled away from his rant, to which he couldn't respond. "Answer me, Glob it!" The officer shouted, slamming his pale yellow fist down on the empty desk. Shunkaha didn't even flinch. Just another day in Aaa...

Land of Ooo

"There you go little fella." Fier cooed at the little swamp troll as he put it down on the mud. Apparently the little guy was trailing on top of a dark swamp tree's branch and that's seriously dangerous. If somebody saw him doing this, they'd probably thought it's weird or if not, he's abducting the little child. As if on cue, he heard a female's shrieking voice, "Monster! He's abducting my precious baby!" it seems like she's the mother of the swamp troll and obviously she mistook him for a kidnapper- much to his dismay.

The fire goblin felt his eyes twitch as he stomped his foot on the ground, "I am not a monster!!" he screamed loudly in frustration which made the little bundle of joy who he just saved cry, which only added fuel to the fire which is the mother's assumptions. "Heeellppp my baby is being kidnapped by an evil fire goblin!!" the woman screamed for help in desperation and Fier gasped when he heard a horn-like sound. Then heavy footsteps followed as mobs of angry swamp trolls appeared out of nowhere and he knew that he's in deep trouble. Their large forks were threatening enough and add that to their wrinkly faces, it was enough to make Fier gulp and turn to his heel to prepare to dash. All he wanted was to help and this is what he gets in return. As he turned around he realized that the trolls have already sorrounded him, they started to close the distance between them and Fier and he felt himself get lifted up in the air and tossed towards the water.

"AHH!!" he cried as he felt his fire got extinguished, for a fire person like him it seriously hurts to be in the water. So it made him really glad when he felt something touch his back, it was a raft. He quickly lifted himself up on the raft, his foggy vision didn't even notice Shungila's presence. "YOU WILL REGRET THIS SWAMP TROLLS!!" he yelled after them as he glared at their retreating figures.

Mel couldn't hold her laughter in anymore as she caused havoc on the adorable Candy Kingdom. The yellow banana guards were going nuts looking for her. For now, Mel was enjoying her time on top of a candy-made roof and from time to time she grab a piece of it and eats it. Well, the reason she was being hunted by these candy people was because she tried to eat one of them. And apparently they call that attempted murder.

Although she raised an eyebrow when the guards mistook somebody for her. As the bananas lead him to the interrogation room, Mel was intrigued enough to follow them. But as they entered the pink building, there was no way for her to get inside. So she just decided to leave the guy alone and let him deal with it. And as she was about to walk off, she felt a hand on her shoulder, "Is this the witch that tried to eat you ma'am?" a banana guard asked a candy woman who nodded her head and shook in fear in front of Mel. "Aw man." she puffed her cheeks as she was handcuffed and lead inside the interrogation room where the man who was took in custody for her crime is.

"I found the real criminal!" the walking fruit shoved her inside the ropm forcefully. Mel simply grinned toothily and waved at the other guard, "Hi nice to meet you." she joked before glancing towards Shunkaha, she sent him a wink just as she kicked the banana guard in the shin which caused him to trip over and fall, "Hey!" the banana who was interrogating Shunkaha earlier put his spear out and dashed to towards the witch, but she was fast enough to dock down and use her handcuffed hands to hit him in the gut. As the second banana man fell down the floor hugging his stomach, Mel huffed proudly, "Sorry but I can't stay." she bluntly stated.

After taking a minute of rest, which almost seemed like meditation, Shungila felt ready to jump back into the dirty water. Of course, she wasn't actually meditating. She thought about food, bacon in particular. She thought about how nice it would be if she could have some of that greasy goodness in her mouth. She almost drooled at the thought, but she contained herself. Despite her worries, she can have pretty simple thoughts at times. Just before she could jump in, however, she heard a commotion going on behind her. She ended up turning to face the noise while crouching down, hoping the fog would give her at least some cover. She decided to wait it out, seeing if the situation would die down or come closer. To her dismay, the commotion seemed to be coming closer. Letting out a small, almost noiseless sigh, she began to look around at the surrounding area. If they were indeed coming her way, then she needed to have a plan B.

It wasn't long before she saw a bright light not even a few feet away, and it took her a moment to see what it was due to her poor eyesight. But once she realized it, she heard the footfall of many angry swamp trolls. It was obvious that they were chasing the fire goblin. Feeling that she had a grasp on the situation, she didn't hesitate to reveal her presence. Getting a better look at what was happening, the angry trolls had taken the elemental and tossed him into the water. That was when one of them spotted her. Said troll tapped the shoulder of the one next to him, until all their eyes fell on her. As this happened, she felt something bump into the raft, only to learn that it was the fire goblin. She kept her eyes, or eye, on the trolls ahead of her despite this. The elemental had been extinguished, so he couldn't be much of a threat to her at the moment. Now extremely cautious, the trolls backed away from the scene, eventually disappearing behind the fog one by one.

They acted like they were more afraid of her than the man in front of her, which came as no surprise to her. After all, the fire goblin was the one clearly in peril. The elemental shouted at his assailants as they retreated behind the fog, not noticing her presence like they had. This made her feel small, since the girl only stood at 5'4. Having been eighteen when she turned, she was pretty small for her age. On top of that, this man was clearly much taller than her. Feeling the need to be seen by this oblivious character, she lightly tapped his shoulder to gain his attention.

His mind having gone completely blank, Shunkaha sat there with his usual blank expression as the officer in front of him almost flew into a rage. Of course, the ageless teen wasn't even paying attention to him. He waited for a chance to escape from this place, as he needed to leave. If they decided to arrest him again on sheer suspicion, who knows what It could do during that time. As if on cue, banana guards had entered the room with a stranger. Announcing that she was the real criminal, Shunkaha relaxed. Finally, he could leave. The officer that had been talking his ear off seemed to calm down, collecting himself. "Really?" The banana man spoke, looking and sounding slightly frustrated. "...I see." He sent a silent glare to Shunkaha. "You're lucky, Wolf..." As always, no response. Instead, Shunkaha had turned his attention to the girl, who wore a wide grin. The boy was puzzled at first, seeing as she even greeted the frustrated banana man.

What happened next, he hadn't exactly expected. The girl sent him a wink as she kicked a guard in the shin, and when the officer attempted to aid his comrade, he suffered from a nasty kick to the gut. As the banana man fell to the ground, Shunkaha sighed, rising to his full height. He was pretty tall for the age he remained at, standing at 6 feet tall, possibly a little taller. He heard the girl say she would not be able to stay, which was just fine by him. He didn't necessarily want to stick around, either. Shunkaha strode towards the banana guard that had fallen at the door. He looted the man, finding the key to his handcuffs and money on his person. Fiddling with the key in his hands, he eventually unlocked his cuffs with his nimble fingers before pocketing the guard's coinpurse and showing himself out the door. As a gesture of thanks, he left the key for the odd girl. As he entered the hallway, he expected resistance at the entryway, to which there probably would be. But first, he needed to look for his stuff.

On the way in to the prison, the guards had taken his backpack, his satchel, and his weapons. All of which he needed. He knew they must be kept somewhere pretty secure, so he checked the other rooms that dotted the narrow hallway. He crept silently through the small space, keeping close to the wall so he couldn't be seen. He wanted to avoid running into anyone else, so he took precautions. Though banana guards aren't all that threatening, they could still cause a lot of unwanted trouble. Having peered into a third room at this point, Shunkaha had found what he was looking for. Now, he just needed a way in...

Fier gave out a victorious laugh as he continued mocking the swamp trolls even though they're no longer to be seen. He had the nerve to think that he was the reason they've retreated, he thought the trolls got scared of him and his fires so they ran away. Well that was until somebody tapped him in the shoulder. "ACK!!" the teenage boy screamed in surprise as he finally saw and realize that he was not alone in the raft. And what made it worse is that he's with the none other than the notorious Fox! "Fox! I am not scared of you!" his fires burned up again as he stood up and pointed at the girl in hopes that it will threaten her.

Fier have heard a lot about this so-said "Fox" and those rumors are enough to conclude that this Fox isn't safe to be with. This is the first time he actually saw her but she fits the description his fellow fire goblins shared to him- well except for hideous face. His fire comrades back then said she looked really hideous and vain-looking but looking at her now, she's not. They also said she's really big but...right now? Nope. She looks just like a normal person(although a bit thin and have a really weird fashion sense which includes bandages and things.) to him. But still he won't lower his guard around her just because of her appearance. Yes she's a beauty but beautiful things can be not-so beautiful in the inside too. As the saying says, don't judge the banana by it's peel.

"What? You're gonna punch me huh? Bring it on." he continued his attempts to scare her off as the dorky fire guy put his battle stance up. Considering their location right now- which was in the middle of a swamp which is water, he will surely lose but at least he won't lose without a fight.

"Oh you big sneaky thing." Mel snickered mischievously as she watched Shunkaha loot the banana guard for what she assumes valuable items. When he unlocked his handcuff and just left the key over there and started to walk off, Mel felt like he's being rude. "Hey you could have said thanks! And get me out of this cuffs too!" she continued complaining at him although she eventually took the key on the floor by crouching down and getting it. Then she also managed to unlock her own handcuff, "Ungrateful brat." he mumbled to herself. Apparently, the oblivious girl had no idea who the said-brat was.

Although Shunkaha did piqued her interest. Mel found him very weird but also mysterious, he never said anything and kept silent. So this again made her stalk him down the narrow hallway. As he stopped in front of the third room which was the room where the criminals' items must be kept safe. And it looks like he couldn't get inside the room. Mel popping out of nowhere, tapped Shunkaha on the shoulder bluntly before leaning in towards him, "Are you plotting something?" she sent him a bright toothy grin, "I want to tag along." then another wink. Whatever the guy is doing, it looks cool. But analyzing the situation, the stranger in front of her must be looking for his items which the banana guards must have confiscated.

And it also seems like he's struggling to find a way inside the room where the guards keep all the criminals' items safe or completely not safe. But apparently, Mel always gets jailed in this candy kingdom so she have a way inside the room already. "Let me help you." she approached the door before taking a deep breathe and kicking it forcefully on the right spot, "Freeze!" she yelled as she announced their presence. As it opened a surprised banana man greeted them as he started trembling when he saw the two of them, "Oh no...the witch and the wolf are teaming up.." the scared banana muttered to itself with his meek voice before fainting. Mel laughed loudly, "Did you see that? He was totally scared of me, he fainted look!" the witch made a gesture to the poor banana guy as he remained on the ground.
