The Hyades
Hyades is a small division consisting of five agents, each tasked with a specific role within a team. Their primary task is extraction of VIPs and information from high risk locations.
Each agent of Hyades bears the callsign of a constellation and is given a specific function on the team.

President Harling to Visit International Space Elevator
Former President Harling recently announced his intention to visit the International Space Elevator, located in Selatapura. This comes following a recent speech calling for closer cooperation with the Erusean government. The President, known for encouraging the construction of the project, has been an avid supporter of space exploration and international cooperation. While at the International Space Elevator, he intends to give a speech and tour the facilities.
“We are very excited about President Harling’s visit.” Chief Scientist Alexander Kovac said on Thursday. “A man who has been encouraging in regards to the space elevator’s construction and one who has left a legacy towards the future.”
Regarding the threat of Erusean Military exercises in the Selatapura region, President Harling could not be reached for comment. However, a Spokesperson stated that they fully trust the efforts of the Space Elevator’s security team and Osean Military to protect him.
Dossier on Operation Needlepoint:
Extract Dr. Liam Vogel [Callsign: Sirius], an Erusean Engineer known for his work designing the International Space Elevator, from Breidablik Tower, a hotel and office complex located in the New Financial District. Vogel claims to have information regarding the Space Elevator and its construction. His daughter will also be on-site. This operation is coordinated by Agent Bloodhound, who is also on-site.
Following extraction, agents are to meet at Rendezvous Site Zeta, where a helicopter will meet them. A van will be provided for infil and exfil with the VIPs.
What is Ace Combat?:
Ace Combat is a video game series by Bandai-Namco about fighter pilots. Most games are set in the Strangereal Universe, a universe that, for all intents and purposes, is Earth with different history and Geography. However, much of the mythology, companies, governmental systems, and other minor details exist within the universe. (Arthurian legend, Norse and Greek mythology, Christianity among other things. I will make reference to various pop culture objects if they fit) You do not need to know about the series to participate, however, This RP will mention and be behind events in the Lighthouse War of 2019, so be warned that this RP contains spoilers for Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown just through its very nature.
Why Spec Ops?
Why not? There’s only so much roleplaying that can be done in fighter planes, as much as I love them. Playing standard Boots on the Ground would have been too depressing. This seemed like a good middle ground, allowing us to do high stakes glory-based action movie-esque missions that the game is known for, as well as moral dilemmas and also because military intelligence is important. There are many stories that can be told in Strangereal, and we only see those performed in the air.
So, what are your requirements?
I like to maintain a nice even pace in terms of roleplay. I post roughly when three participants have. I also require at least a literate paragraph unless solely dialogue is going on in which three sentences is enough for me.
