This is the Character Sheet (and lore dump) for Ace Combat: Beneath Darkened Skies, an RP set in the Ace Combat Universe inspired by Call of Duty: Black Ops and Battlefield 4. Characters engage in special operations missions for Osea behind the scenes during the Lighthouse War, gathering intel, extracting VIPs, and doing other discreet work.

Only few character sheets will be chosen, as I feel like that’s how much I can really handle.​

Psychological Profile: Polaris is an intelligent young woman skilled at linguistics and code breaking. At home around computers and notebooks, She freezes up when dealing with people due to an apparent lack of communication skills. Despite this, she manages to maintain a cool head when communicating with Field Operatives, perhaps due to the physical disconnect between agents and handlers. She is described as kind and patient with those she works with.

Background:

Born in Bana City, Osea, Polaris grew up the second child of immigrants who held high positions in corporations. She was often left in the hands of private tutors or sent off to prep schools. It is believed this had lead to Polaris’s stunted development with handling interpersonal relationships.

Due to her close relationship with her sister and the strict nature of the environments they were raised in, she developed a code with which to communicate and write in diaries. This soon led to a love of languages and computer programming. When alone, she would frequently delve into computer coding and linguistic work. During her senior year of Highschool, she took second place in the computer science division at the Osean International Science and Engineering Fair.

This allowed her to study Applied Linguistics and Computer Science at November City Institute of Technology, where she gained her degree in the standard four years.

Briefly studied abroad in Erusea as part of a Linguistics Student Exchange program.

Following her graduation from NCIT, she took a job with the Office of Naval Intelligence where she worked as a cryptographer, analyzing communications aboard the OFS Vulture.

Following her work at ONI, she now works with the Osean Intelligence Agency as an analyst and a handler for the covert operations done by Hyades team.

Equipment:

Being an analyst at the OIA headquarters at Redmill Air Force Base in Osea, she doesn’t carry any weaponry on her. However, she does utilize computer equipment, including an encrypted cellphone, a secure but powerful laptop, and access to the OIA’s central supercomputer. She can thus access information quickly and easily.
