  The King's Academy is a highly prestigious school of magic nestled in the heart of Ambition City, the capitol of Juno, and the largest city in the world. Xeria is a new Witch and a freshly enrolled student at this institute, and plans to spend the next five years at the academy, learning all there is to know about magic. She's a relatively young lass, somewhere between 16 and 20 (her exact age is unknown, being an orphan who aged out of an Orphanage inside the city), and has quite the repertoire of spells and knowledge at her disposal.
  
  She is a bit on the "socially inept" side of life, being largely unfamiliar with the finer aspects of high-society that comes with being a student of The King's Academy, but makes up for that with her brilliance and almost haphazard ways of innovating. She constantly gets in her own way with her constant forgetfulness and scatterbrained thoughts however.
  
  She is currently partnered with the enigmatic Kuroi, a mysterious being who claims to have been dead before her timely summoning.

  A girl hailing from another world, returned from death to serve a scatterbrained genius.
  
  When she doesn't have something someone else told her to do, she can often be found idling the time away, staring listlessly into space without a care. She doesn't flinch when hurt, and her self preservation instincts seem to have gone missing alongside much else of what made her a person. It's not like she's fully lost herself, though; little glimmers of her past peek through occasionally, letting those paying attention know that at some point there was a person in that head of hers, one who likely went through a lot.
  
  She does seem to on some level care for Xeria, the person who summoned her, but it can be very difficult to tell with how she carries herself.
  
  Though she is wholly unfamiliar with magic, having come from a place where there was none (that much, she can remember) her physical abilities and talents are quite remarkable. Not anything like superhuman, but in a school of magicians where few would have bothered to polish their bodies her ability to keep moving all day and her near endless list of practical skills likely seem so.
  
  She does end up failing a bit as a servant though... Much like her master, she's unfamiliar with the customs that she is supposed to be abiding here, and her attempts to learn new things have been largely dispassionate.

  A young Beastkin Blacksmith, and one of Xeria's few friends from childhood. Her little shop in Ambition City is struggling to make profits due to her lack of notoriety, but she is an honest worker and unafraid to challenge herself to outperform her competitors. She's constantly exasperated by Xeria's antics, but looks out for her whenever Valenia's not around.

  The wilds of Juno are host to many small, tight-knit traveling communities and caravans. Gypsy folk, exotic traders, and wagon owners make their way across the forests and plains, and young Valenia happens to be one such traveler. As part of a trade caravan that makes common rounds across Juno, she has gained a good grasp of the basics of witchcraft making her life as an Alchemist, traveling all of Ballad for rare materials and reagents for her potioncraft. Her wanderlust is insatiable and her heart bleed with waifish innocence despite being 23 years old; being a bit of a Treasure Hunter on the side isn't the healthiest way of expressing her curiosity whenever she peeks inside some old ruins or two...
  
  Despite only meeting once every half-year at best, Xeria and Valenia love each other like sisters. It isn't quite clear how the two met, but they are attached at the hip whenever they're together.
  
  She is currently wandering the Southern Seas with her caravan in search of new herbs to expand her alchemy.
