Karma was made by accident by a powerful mage who became terrified of his creation and cast her out into the unforgiving world. She had a human level of intelligence and the ability to become mostly humanoid, but she was an abomination. Wandering the unforgiving landscapes for years, she finally found a home for herself among the trees in the wilds of the great boreal forest. Over time she became nothing more than a whisper among humans, but she learned of something terribly dark emerging from the depths of evil, bent on destroying them, and now she has taken it upon herself to try to help the humans in any way she can.

Having heard of a great evil stirring, she has set off in search of it.
