Persona

Persona: Yesenia is quirky. She is an enigma. She is unpredictable. And independent. she doesn't take kindly to people telling her what to do. But if you need help, she is a true humanitarian who is ready and willing to assist someone who might be short on cash or down on their luck. She'll also dole out sound advice. She cares about her fellow man, woman, child, animal, and environmental cause.


Yesenia tends to mingle with people from all walks of life. She tends to greet and interact with people the same way, no matter what their age or background. While she loves to progress, on a personal level, she doesn’t like change. It has to do with her loyalty, her attachment to the past, and her memories, so even though she has the courage to look ahead, usually with optimism, and see the best things in store, she still likes to know where she has come from and who she is.


While most may very well keep their promises in their relationships, Yesenia can take loyalty to a different, deeper level. She will stay loyal to anyone unless of course they truly prove themselves unworthy. Plus she's a bit of a hopeless romantic.


Well this is what she lets the world perceive her as. Yesenia is what most call...well a bitch. She doesn't have much tolerance for silliness or others ignorance. Some say she wound up so tight it's a wonder she hasn't blown her top yet. To anyone within the castle, she is cold, calculating and silent. She puts up a front so others have nothing to hold against her when its time to be serious. Extremely thorough, responsible, and dependable. Well-developed powers of concentration. Usually, she is interested in supporting and promoting traditions and establishments. Well-organized and hard working, she works steadily towards identified goals. She can usually accomplish any task once they have set their mind to it.


This all came after she came to know she was a death mage. People started turning their backs on her, seeing her as something to fear. So she became the monster they all feared, though she only lets her wall down to a select few.

Digging Deeper

Bio: Yesenia grew up having a privileged life and she knew it. Growing up in a life where there were no mistakes. Then one day there was one mistake and there was no way of fixing it. Her once perfect world came crumbling down around her when her father had announced he had had an affair. Of course this came no shock to her seeing it was bound happen though it still hurt.


Though her fathers infedelity when compared to this was nothing. At a certain age a mage will determine whether they fall to the light or the dark all by the purity of their soul. Yesenia like everyone else believed that she would fall to the light like her mother. She was kind and generous, all together a lovely child. Though when it was revealed that Yesenia would not fall to the light it felt as though her whole world went to hell. No longer was she seen as the princess everyone wanted as their own daughter, she became feared and excluded. Yesenia fearful and heartbroken decided that she would give them the monster they knew she was and will stop at nothing to claim the crown as her own.

Bio:


Salomao is the illegitimate son the the king (another character) and to his mother Sofia Trujillo. Salomao grew up being called a "Bastard Child," by all the other children and adults. Salomao was never close to his half brother and father (sorry) after all he is the illegitimate son to the king, that's enough to put a strain on anyone. In fact, Salomao never grew close to anyone but his mother. Sofia was always there for him and so was her lover Marco. Salomao, Sofia, and Marco lived together as a small and happily married family, although Sofia and Marco never married. Shortly after Salomao turned 15 his mother developed a mysterious illness that killed her after seven months of fighting. Marco became Salomao's guardian claiming that their relationship runs thicker than blood.


Personality:


Salomao is a very timid and shy boy, but when you get close to him he shows you a bit of his true colors. Salomao is slightly self conscious of himself so he tends to looks at anywhere but someone's eyes, it's a bad habit and he knows. Although it might take a while for the boy to speak up, he isn't afraid to say his honest opinion... Unless you're his half brother or the king or the queen. Salomao is a very kind boy with a very large heart. He has quite a few redeeming qualities, but he also has a few flaws.

Bio: Alexander was the first born son the late Duke Alfonso Adolfo of the Duchy of Leon, one of the larger and richer sects of land within the Kingdom. Alexander's father died in a hunting accident when Alexander was 16 years old.


Alexander grew up being raised kindly by his mother, but taught to be strong by his father, causing him to have a near strained relationship with his father. He ended up seeing his instruct that taught him swordsmanship and how to ride a horse as a father figure instead of his own father, whom taught him fiances, the intrigues of court, diplomacy and the tactics of war should the Kingdom ever need his family to lead its army. Alexander has shown to be a very quick witted man going quite well with his attractive appearance.


Personality: Alexander is a very gregarious and charismatic boy, he is great at charming people and making people like him. Alexander is very clever and arrogant he rarely likes to admit he's wrong because he's been taught so much he thinks he's almost always right. Alexander is a very compassionate and kind but normally heads it from people as he sees those parts of himself as weak thanks to his father.

background | Astraea was born to a foreign kingdom far away, where the sun always shinned and the smell of fruit filled the air. She was a happy child, a beloved little princess who didn’t have the pressures of the world on her since she was the fourth daughter. Astraea Lovelace as she was known back then spent her days spoiled and happy as she was the favored of all the daughter. She had dreams of marrying a kind prince and ruling a small kingdom together with him, nothing like the relationship the was between her parents, who didn’t love each other but her mother would choose death before letting another take the crown. This all changed though when Iberia showed up. Of course her’s being such a small kingdom, they wanted no trouble and gave their oldest daughter for marriage with the invading king’s son. Alas, the son’s eyes were drawn to Astraea and her dreams of a loving marriage were gone. She was wed to the man and hated it. She loves her daughter and dotes on her, even though she is a death mage. She dreams of fleeing her husband and marrying a kind prince.

While most of these outfits have capes, he does not wear them. He also keeps a sword on his person and a wand at all times.


Personality: TBR. The only thing I will say is that while when he was a child, and wasn't king yet, he was always charming a kind and careful to hide his real actions. But once he became king, he could do pretty muh anything. When he started having affairs, no one could say anything about it. He also became very paranoid that someone would try to kill him. If he even thought that maybe you meant harm to him, or he heard somehting, he would kill you. There, of course, would be a "trial", but not much of one. And everyone knew how it would end.


History: Agustín was the eldest of his four sisters and brothers, and as his father was a life mage, he was set to inherit the throne from birth. So, he was trained to be a king. He was taught social charms, how to make small talk, he was given dance and fencing lessons. He was also taught the extensive history of Iberia, decision making, and was also taught from a very young age how to master his magic. He was a well traveled child. He made trips to Sahra, France, England, Germany, as well as many, many parts or his country. When it became apparent that his father was going to die, he was crowned King. He was 14 at the time. His father died about 2 months after he was declared sick, and his mother soon after that. He wasn't currently the acting king, his father's regent was. So, he could still go to court. This is where he met his wife. For the first years, until she had their child, he was very in love with her. But then, when Yesenia was born, and turned out to be a death mage. He then slowly drifted away from her. He had had the affair here and there up until Yesenia was born, but after he had them much much more. Honestly, he and the queen were hardly ever seen together. Every seaons he was seen with someone new. Whenever a pretty girl came along, or a handsome boy, he would purse them. He still does it.

History:

Named by her mother after the Elysian Fields of Ancient Greek mythos, Elysia was born as the first and only daughter (and child) to The Marquess of Winchester, Lord Charles Wilkes and his wife (The Marchioness of Winchester), Lady Elaine Wilkes. She grew up learning everything about the court of England, but yearned to explore other countries and found court rather dull most of the time. As she was the only child to the Marquess, she was given nearly anything she wanted, but fortunately she did not turn out spoiled. She was more of a giving person, and was genuinely interested in the common people and their daily lives. At sixteen, she was able to go with her family to France-finally, another country to see! She very much enjoyed her time there, and now she will go with her mother and father to Iberia and attend court there. She plans on doing a bit more exploring than she did in France and hopes to see more than just the castle.

Backround

Maria was born as the only child of the royal family of Germany. Her father had wished for a prince, but tried to hide that fact from his daughter. However, she found that out quickly. She therefore tried to at least be the best princess possible, to make her father proud of her. She learned all rules of attitude and politeness, just as she quickly learned to use her ability. To not disappointed or embarrass her father, she pushed her real personality behind for that. Her father of course was proud of his daughter and gave her all the love he could. Just as her mother did. They both never realized what she did to become what they wished her to be.

Sometimes she falls back into German language, making her mix languages a little. Especially when she is surprised.
