Ethan Porter
It was 6:30 in the morning, a common wake-up time for Ethan. His alarm rang with a continuous beep. He slammed his fist down on the dismiss button and threw the covers off. He stood up and stretched out in his pajamas. Ethan walked over to the curtains to his room and opened them. He arguably had that best site out of any room. It looked upon the beautiful mountain and forest, it was just a generally amazing view. He finished his stretching and walked to his dresser. Looking through his clothes, he decided to wear the ol' casual gray zip-up and a pair of blue jeans. After getting dressed he looked at his calendar. Putting his finger on today's date, April 26th, he saw something he wrote the night before: "Meet new recruits". He put his hand on his forehead and shook his head. "How could I forget?" he said walking back to his dresser. Grabbing out his formal wear, he put it on over his sweatshirt and buttoned it up. He looked back at the clock, 6:57. "Guess I got time for breakfast" Ethan said before leaving his room.

In the dining hall, he got today's special; eggs and sausage. He sat down at an empty table, well, most of the tables were empty except for a couple early risers. He gave a friendly wave to them and they returned the same. After finishing his breakfast he looked down at his watch, 7:17. "They'll be here soon" he said before handing his tray back in and headed to the main lobby.

There were a few more early risers in the lobby. Most of the mutants at the facility didn't wake up till around 8 or 9, depending on when their training was scheduled. The few there were from Ryan's Team, Ryan was another special agent. Checking his watch once more, it read 7:30. "They'll be showing up any moment now" Ethan said to himself as he stood in the middle of the lobby.

All other characters are being flown in from wherever they originated from and will get in a car going from the airfield to the facility. This is where you start.

Another day, another flight. Tara finished her shift by helping her passengers exit the passenger plane one by one with a plastered smile. When they were gone, she hailed a cab to take her to her destination, an unmarked airfield far from the prying eyes of civilization. At the airfield, she'd transfer to another car waiting to take her to the facility.

"Don't mind me," Tara offered the driver with a smirk, changing from her stewardess dress into her tactical suit along the way. She checked her guns, her taser, and her baton. Miss Remedy was ready for whatever they through at her.

She didn't know a whole lot about the GMDA, save for its mission and that it had a reputation as being the best of the best. That meant she was among them, to be offered the job. Crazy. The Blonde mused, staring out the window at the passing trees. A few years ago she had been just a wide eyed athlete, and now she was supposably a hero.

Arriving at the site, Tara smiled with curiosity, her slender legs finding solid ground as she exited the vehicle in one fluid motion. The surrounding mountains were stunning. They momentarily took her breath away, before the sight of the main entrance brought her back to reality. Here we go...

Petite fingers pushed open the glass doors. She walked inside to be greeted by a man of casual appearance, probably someone important by the way he just checked his watch. ...or just impatient... The short blonde offered him a real smile and a laugh as she approached.

"Good morning big guy, where's the marching band?!"

Ethan Porter : G.M.D.A Facility
Ethan smiled when the first car showed up. He watched it as a woman walked out of the car and entered the building, it was Tara. He had studied all of the new recruits files and memorized everything of importance, names included. Ethan smiled as Tara walked in and joked about his outfit. "Hey, they make me wear this monkey suit. Anyway, good morning Tara. How was you flight?" he asked.

Kyle Drake : Airstrip/Car/Facility
The plane ride was a bore to Kyle. He was honestly to excited to care how far away from civilization he was. As the plane crested over a mountain top he saw it, the G.M.D.A facility. It was beautiful, and the sites from it were probably even better. As the plane touched down Kyle saw a car parked close to the runway. The aircraft's wheels screeched as it came to a halt on the pavement. He hopped out off the cockpit and landed on the ground with an Umph. He waved to the pilot as he crossed the nose of the plane and walked to the car. After being told to get in the back seat, he opened the door and climbed in.

The vehicle approached the facility quickly and came to a stop outside the front door. It looked even better up close he thought as he exited the car. Climbing the few steps in front of the doors, Kyle saw two people inside, a girl in some kind of tac suit and a sharply dressed man. Taking a deep breath, he opened the doors. "Hello. I'm-" he was cut off by the man.

Ethan Porter
"Hey Kyle" Ethan said. He began to wonder how they would react to him already knowing their names.

Daniel leaned up against the glass of the taxi, watching the world go by. It'd been a few days since the government facility he'd been living in had shut down, with him and few other surviving subjects being extracted, and essentially scattered to the wind. As far as he knew, they'd been released out into the world, seeing as they were 'normal' enough to be accepted by society without being constantly monitored. He was different, though. His abilities, as useless as they were in comparison to the others he'd seen, were apparently enough to warrant... well, this.

The taxi pulled up abruptly. Looked like they were here. Wherever 'here' was. To be honest, he didn't know much about what he was doing - he'd been offered a chance to join this organization, and he, of course accepted, without really understanding it. What else could he have done? His home, the one he'd lived in all his life, was gone. All he really wanted right now was some purpose in life. With nothing left to do, he opened the door to the car, and walked out towards the grey block of a building, curling up in his clothes. It definitely wasn't a warm day.
_________________________________________________

Lexa followed the boy in over-sized hoodie, stepping out of the taxi after him. He looked a little ridiculous, really, but she wasn't going to judge. Not out-loud, at least. The two of them had spent the majority of the journey in silence - he seemed to have forgotten she was even there after they'd introduced themselves. She'd normally break the silence, but for once, it was what she needed. The decision to come here wasn't one she'd taken lightly, and she still wasn't totally sure about the whole affair. But anything that could keep her controlled was surely a good thing. Assuming they could control her.

The two of them entered the building. Of course, they weren't the first to arrive. There was three people gathered together, presumably their new associates - a man wearing something resembling a suit, a young, short woman in some kind of combat suit, and a boy who looked even younger than the one she'd arrived with, although perhaps not quite as out of place. She approached them all, Daniel tagging along after a moment of apparent surprise (maybe he really had forgotten she was there).

"Uh, hi."

Despite being due to be transferred that morning, Suzie still woke up extremely early and headed to the gym to train. Everything she did in that place was routine and second nature, so she figured one last bit of normality, for her, wouldn't hurt. Even though the place she'd called home all her life was cold and unfeeling, it had still been home and in a way she would miss it. She managed to shower, dress and eat before it was time to leave the army base. The journey to the airbase in the military helicopter was nothing new to her and she simply sat in silence as she gazed out of the window. She often thought about how she could fly this thing herself - not in the same way as the pilot, but by using her powers to control the giant tin can. But that's as far as any rule-breaking would go: just a quick thought in her head. She'd seen and experienced the punishments for defying her superiors' orders, which was mostly why she was now so controlled and focused on carrying out orders. It was only when they finally landed on the runway and she was about to get out of the helicopter that she spoke. She stepped forward to lean into the cockpit and placed a hand on the pilot's shoulder. "Don't miss me too much, will you, Michael?" she said, with a smirk. He was one of the few people she'd been able to call a friend during their time growing up. Still, despite the bond, Suzie simply gave the young man a handshake rather than a parting hug.

Suzie then got into the car which took her to the new facility. Realising she would have to meet new people, her peers, she felt a little apprehensive. Dangerous missions and harsh training didn't fill her with dread like the thought of being thrown into a social situation did. Telling herself to approach it as any other mission, she got out of the vehicle. She was dressed more casually than usual, in a tank top, combat trousers and boots. When she stepped into the building, she scanned those already there to identify Ethan. She would then outstretch her arm to give him a firm handshake. "Suzanne Shannon, Sir," she formally greeted him.

"My flight was good." Tara replied, not missing a beat. She didn't like being watched, but she would have expected nothing less from a government agency.

Others were arriving, leaving Tara contemplating. Looks like I missed the dress casual memo... It struck her that maybe they didn't have tactical gear. Perhaps, she was ready for the big leagues. She counted four so far, besides herself.

"It's nice to meet you guys. I'm Remedy!" The blonde gave a wave, code names would suffice for now. She stretched her arms and her shoulders with a yawn. "How many cool peeps are we waiting for?"

October was tired. No, that could have been an understatement. October felt... physically and emotionally drained. Having come from London's timezone to Montana's, and seeing as how he hadn't slept in quite a while, the man felt exhausted. He hadn't caught much sleep on the flight over, which had gone straight from London to this tiny town, but at least it had been enough to tide him over.

It was in a daze that October slipped from on vehicle to another, his luggage all around him as a car, presumably from this GMDA, drove him to the facility. Was it in the middle of nowhere for a reason? Was this all just a trap, and all these people wanted to do was experiment on him? The sleep-deprived mind of October began to almost fantasize about what could happen if these people weren't who they said they were. But the man shook off those irrational thoughts and drew himself back to the present. It was more than a few minutes before October gained sight of the facility, which sprawled across the beautiful countryside. America was a majestic country, to be sure. October had never been outside the U.K., so to see such a different landscape was like a whole new world.

The young man pushed his thick-rimmed glasses back up his nose as the car pulled to stop, and it was with a breath of relief that October saw he was not the only newcomer. Several others had just entered the building, leaving him alone as the other cabs began to drive off. October muttered a thanks as he exited the vehicle, pulling along his suitcase and slinging his backpack over his shoulder. The man who had driven him was silent as he started back, so it was likely he had already been paid.

October turned back to the building that sprawled before him. It was daunting, but exciting. He wanted to know more about these mutant genes of his and what could be accomplished with them. The man was a bit unlike many others in this military base, as his small, wiry frame didn't exactly reflect strength. He knew practically nothing about firearms, and could never hold his own in hand-to-hand combat.

The man pushed open the glass doors before him, now seeing six others that had already arrived. Not only were most of the people dwarfing him, but it also seemed as if they knew what they were doing. Did they already know about agent stuff? Did they knew how to handle guns and hold their own? October felt a bit underprepared. His clothes were also much more daily, as the flannel shirt he wore was a bit big and untucked.

"G'morning," he murmured to the man who seemed to be in charge."Or afternoon. Or whatever the bloody hell it is." October didnt usually speak in such a short manner, but he was tired. He had a feeling, however, that he wouldn't be getting any rest any time soon.

Ethan smiled as more people showed up. He gave Suzanne a shake and greeted the others accordingly. "Welcome to the G.M.D.A Facility. It's so nice to see a diverse group. You all are going to be one of my more interesting teams." He told them. He looked around the group to see that he was missing someone. Must be their plane hasn't arrived yet he thought "We are just waiting on a couple more people, then we can get some food and I will give you the grand tour." he said.

Kyle Drake
Kyle raised an eyebrow to Ethan, but didn't say anything. How'd he know my name he thought to himself. Kyle knew next to nothing about the facility and its works. He didn't know how they operated or how they trained. It was going to be an interesting time.

Joe rubbed his weary eyes as he laid on the hard seats. He was currently 36,000 feet above solid ground, but tried not to think about that. The thought of sleep failed him so he simply laid there thinking about anything else. The GMDA seemed like a noble cause in his mind. He couldn't spend his whole life in fear of his power. If anyone could help it was them. Who knows maybe he'll even grow to like them.

The pilot could definitely use some practice, but still he got there in one piece. As the plane slowly came to a halt and he exited into the bright morning sun. Joe took a car to what looked like the main facility. The cool breeze of the mountain air was a nice change than the hot weather he had been living in. There was certainly more people here then he expected, and they were nice. That he hadn't expected. As he walked inside from the car he noticed he was probably one of the last one to get there. To fair it was a long flight. So he took his natural place in the back and waited for the man at the front to continue.

Lexa nodded politely when the blonde woman introduced herself. Remedy, huh? Definitely an interesting name, although her's wasn't much better.

"Nice to meet you too. I'm Lexa," she replied. Remedy's behavior was a lot more casual than her clothes - out of all them, she seemed the most... militant? In contrast, the other woman here was acting a lot more formal than her attire would suggest. Were they all going to be working together? Or would they be assigned to specifics later? It wasn't clear yet, but she supposed it didn't really matter. She wasn't here for them. Other people started slowly filtering in as they talked.

Daniel simply looked around at the small crowd of people that'd gathered. It was certainly an... interesting mix. What was consistent, though, was that they were all relatively young - the woman he'd arrived with seemed to be one of the older people here, and even she wasn't that old. In a way, it was relieving. At the very least, everyone seemed to be in the same boat. Perhaps some of them had come from similar facilities to himself? To be honest, he wasn't sure how common that was. But now wasn't the time to ask.

Ethan tapped his foot on the floor in impatience. He wanted everyone here before the lobby sprung to life, he could already hear doors opening and closing upstairs. "Where is the last one?" he mumbled to himself. Ethan checked his watch once more, 7:43. "Just waiting on one more. The reason why you're all here so early is because this place gets crazy as the day goes on." he told the group.

Kyle Drake
Kyle kept a small smile on his face as they waited for the final person to show up. He heard the echoing sound of doors being shut from the upper floor as more voices could be heard. So the lobby is a social center? he thought to himself. Now he new where to go to meet new people.

Damien Tobiah Lmore

Damien slept in his airship, by his side as a dream played through his brain, Lucid Dream. He had gotten more and more of them, ever since his . . . encounter, with his family. He was playing video games with his now dead twin sister, him laying on the imaginary couch, with his sister leaning on him. Junk food surrounded them, as well as sodas and different candies, littering the ground with so much trash it could make a hoarder puke.

She would always beat him in games, as she did when she was still alive. She'd laugh after every match, and Damien would be just, too stubborn to truly give up. He groaned as he lost another match, throwing his controller into the air. "How the hell are you so good at this?" His sister shook her head, smiling. "I always was better than you Damien. Now . . . Wake up, you're here/

Damien blinked himself awake as the airship landed, sighing as he was pulled to his feet. "I got it, I got it." He groaned, pushing the men away who'd picked him up. He walked out of the airship, looking at the facility. "I guess I'm here then, aren't I?"

As Joe walked into the main facility form the car that dropped him off, he noticed more and more people starting to move around. He wondered if they where like him. Mutants. Guess not, but did that even matter. As he looked around and several unusual people caught his eye. Guess what they said about this place was true after all. There were signs everywhere of this being a large and well funded operation. There was more to here than meets the eye.

Turing around he pushed is way through the front door. In the middle of the room stood a small group of people with and official looking man at the head. "Hello everyone" he gave a small wave as he moved in with the group. Yep, definitely a lot of strange people here.

Ethan looked up from his watch as he heard someone else come through the door. It was the guy who Ethan knew he was going to have fun training, the pyro. Ethan smiled to the man who had entered. "Ah, Joe, you're here." he said. He looked past him to see another plane touch down. The last one is here.

Kyle Drake
Kyle was starting to feel a little uneasy about this guy. How did he know the names of the new arrivals? Was it some kind of telepathic thing? Had they been watching us? Only time will tell.

Alright, so maybe these people weren't agents. They were more like misfits. Well, perhaps not that odd. A lot of them seemed like normal people- mostly normal. October had yet to see any kind of mutations like his own, by it was likely any mutations these people had were not permanently physical. At least, not that he could see. Maybe one of them had a tail. Maybe one had an echidna peni-

No, that was getting off track. Though that would be interesting, to think of it...

"Right, so where are we off to, chief?" October directed his question toward the man in charge. He was getting impatient just standing here in the awkward silence. "I can't imagine we'll be bloody standin' here an' doing nothing all day." Yes, October was getting a bit sassy. He had the plane trip to thank for that. He had never been a fan of flying, and now he just needed to de-stress. He had brought a portable tea kettle with him, and hadnt gotten a chance to try it out. Fuck it, he knew he was a stereotype, but he honestly didn't care at the moment.

Ethan smiled at October's impatience. He couldn't tell if October was anxious to kick things off or he was just in a bad mood after the flight. "Easy October, we'll be heading off once the last guy shows up. Their plane just landed." he said. He looked over his shoulder to see a few more mutants come down the stairs. It was going to get busy soon, and it wouldn't be fun trying to push through a crowd of people trying to get into the dining hall.

Kyle Drake
Kyle smiled and waved to a few people coming down the stairs. One more... he thought. One more person and they could get on with today. He was excited to be part of an organization that encouraged you to use your powers. He knew he was gonna have fun here.

Suzie stood straight with her hands clasped together in front of her. She was a very patient person so whilst others appeared a little restless whilst waiting for everyone to arrive, she was happy enough to stand still and wait for their next instructions. The only thing she did finding daunting was the prospect of figuring out how she was going to to find common ground with her peers and somehow make herself seem interesting enough if asked to talk about herself. Socialising was definitely her weakness.

Lexa was starting to get a little impatient. They'd been standing around for longer than she'd have liked, and more than anything right now, she was most concerned about came next - there was still very little that she understood about this organisation, and figuring what it was all about was her priority right now. All she had to work on for now was the man they'd all been brought to meet. Unfortunately, he wasn't giving much away right now, and as much as she'd like to ask for more information, it wasn't the best idea. She needed to see this all for herself.

October's arms crossed as he set himself to waiting. He supposed there was nothing to be done, but he also supposed that there were things to get to. Would they get to meet the leads of this organization? It would only make sense, seeing how little they knew about this whole thing. They all deserved an explanation of this whole thing. The man cast an eye over the group, settling to look as the woman who has introduced herself as Suzanne. She was well-built, as if she had been in this sort of business before.

"What about you, sweetheart? You a freak too?" October leaned in her direction for a moment, his face remaining still. He wasn't really one for striking up conversation, but it was getting awkward quickly.

Misty Gray Misty Gray

Suzie looked to October when he addressed her and his question made her think for a moment. She considered her mutation to be a gift and a strength; something which could save lives and stop villains. But during her time growing up, she had experienced first hand that not everyone tolerated or trusted people like her. She had heard many soldiers refer to her kind as "freaks", which she figured was brought on by their own fear of how dangerous mutants can be and how much more powerful some were. Suzie smirked in October's direction and nodded her head. "Yes, I'm a freak too," she confirmed. "Proud of it, too. Aren't you?"

boo. boo.

Tara couldn't help but smile from the conversation unfolding in front of her. Crabby pants seemed intent on causing a scene, and she felt she had to interject. "Look," she ribbed. "I don't know about you two, but I'm not a freak. The freaks are the ones I came here to fight."

It was true. Having abnormal abilities didn't make one a freak in her book. People who broke the law and hurt others, they were the real freaks. Of course, it wasn't like her powers were really all that visible. The blonde's eyes scanned around the lobby for any sign of the missing recruit.

This was taking too long, she thought, and her patience was beginning to waver. "Can we just go?" She asked the man, rocking on the balls of her feet. "If the last person is late, it's their own fault."

Airlines don't even wait for people, and yet, this paramilitary organization did? Jeeze. Tara was ready to walk on by herself.

Ethan Porter
Ethan was beginning to feel like the rest of them, impatient. He checked his watch one last time, 8:07. "Damn, agreed. They'll just have to report to the information office once they arrive." he told the group. As more people started coming down the stairs he motioned the group to follow. "Come on, lets get you guys some breakfast. Then we'll get to the good part" he said as he started walking towards the doors to the dining hall. He opened the door and held it open for the rest of them.

Kyle Drake
Kyle was glad it was time to move on. He was about to fall asleep where he was standing. He made haste towards the open doors, almost in sprint. As he went through the doorway he faced the suited man and gave a lazed salute. "Thank you, Sir." he said as he went for the nearest table.

Daniel was startled back into the reality by the sudden movement from the group. Looked like they were finally moving somewhere, although some other people were entering the room as they were leaving. Big organisations weren't exactly unfamiliar to him, so that didn't strike him as odd - if anything, it was more the... casualness. Everyone just moving around everywhere. It was a far cry from his old facility, where you couldn't even go outside without superior approval. He wasn't too sure how he felt about it yet. Regardless, he followed through to the dining hall, quietly thanking the man who was holding the door open. He didn't immediately sit down, though, instead pulling down his hood and slipping a cap over his ever-bald head. It seemed better to wait and see what everyone did - waiting for others to make decisions was a lot easier than making his own.

Lexa had no such reservations. She strolled over to the same table as the boy who'd gone through first, and took a seat, crossing her legs as she slumped down into it. She hadn't really noticed it earlier, but she suddenly felt exhausted. Looked like the long travel times had finally caught up with her. Food definitely still sounded like a good idea regardless, at least just to keep her energy up.

Raku Raku

Well, it looked like they would be moving on without out everyone. He hadn't been waiting to long but I guess the suit dudes got a schedule to keep. The halls were slowly getting busier as the made there way through. In the group certainly had some varied opinions about their... abilities. He sat down at one of the tables with two others in the dining hall. Everyone seemed tried, or hungry, or both.
Joe wasn't so sure about the organization he had signed up with, they seemed way to casually for a government organization. Hmm, maybe it was a good thing. Joe turned to the guy who sat down first. "Hey names Joe" he said warmly as he offered his hand.

Raku Raku & everyone else

Suzie looked to Tara as she addressed her and October. Tensions were high in the World, not just the small group they were standing within. Mutants were frequently being mistreated and judged. When she was a child, Suzie used to become upset when she heard people calling her kind names and not being accepted by others. Those feelings were gradually trained out of her and now, for better or worse, she was taught to ignore fear and sadness. She knew being called a freak should make her angry, but she'd learned to brush it off.

When Ethan led the group to the dining hall, Suzie followed without hesitation. "Thank you, Sir," she said as he held the door open. She walked to the nearest table and took a seat directly opposite Kyle, where she sat up straight and glanced around the room. She'd already eaten breakfast hours ago, but she often burned off enough energy to afford a large appetite.
