  Personality: Riku is a quiet guy. He pushes people away so he doesn't hurt them. He's nice at his core but doesn't allow himself to show it so people aren't attracted to him. He does everything he can alone due to his split personality.
  Backstory: Riku was born and lives in Japan. Sadly there isn't anything positive or too interesting to say about Riku. He lived in an shitty house in an shitty neighborhood. His parent's constantly fought. They saved it for when Riku wasn't in the room with them, but he heard it all. Riku wanted nothing but for his parents to be happy and his family to go to better places. He was born with rich white hair, and he was consistently made fun of for it. He even heard his parent's mention it sometimes in there arguments. One night, it was especially bad. Riku hid in his small room as he laid on his mattress that didn't have a bed frame. No sheets and a small ripped blanket. He curled himself into his torn blanket, it was dark, it was always dark. Riku shivered, the night breeze creeping through the broken window. All Riku could think, see, and feel, was darkness. He stood up, he was going to go to the bathroom so maybe his parents would stop fighting when they saw him. But when Riku stood up he felt a pat on his ankles. His blanket was gone, and he was covered in a pitch black material. It wrapped itself around his left arm, his fingers gained a sharp tip. He curiously scratched his right palm, red gooey liquid spilling from his hand. Riku's brain clicked, he knew that this was his opportunity to end the anger. Riku made the biggest mistake of his life that night, creating a second Riku, an insane Riku. A Riku that only came out from the sight of that familiar rust water. Riku never heard his parents argue again, in fact he never heard his parents again at all. Riku and his house wasn't full of anger anymore, only sadness. He later realized his cloak was magic, and that the best way to deal with the sadness, and maybe one day redeem himself, was to pursue in magic.

  Tends to come off a bit bubbly, which in its entirety basically means shes highly excitable and a little bit dumb in the common sense department. She aspires to be apart of a guild when she graduates, she hasn't been interested in the government side of things and tends to lean a little bit more to helping the public and taking on public requests to make life better for everyone. She enjoys eating fatty foods, but is self conscious about her weight and diet. She tends to be a bit book smart in a sense, knowing about various types of magic outside of her own particular field of study. She enjoys training outside of just magical training, such as working on her sword play or just some body building in general.
  Backstory:
  Katsumi grew up in Tokyo, one of the largest magic Hubs in Japan. Katsumi was always surrounded by magic and used magic in her day to day life. Her mother worked hard for a guild while her father ran a magical items store. Kat was always interested in magical items so when she took up practicing magic she decided to learn item magic. Her father using rune magic and her mother using caster magic couldn't help her much in the whole learning process. The hired some tutors to help teach her, her mother even bringing her to her guild to let her learn off mages who had real fighting experience. She took up Katana wielding after she had seen a mage at her mothers guild use them, which she thought was super cool.
  
  She decided she wanted to go to Tsukaikari academia when she was just 15, saying that it was the best magic school in the country and she stuck with those Ideals. Her mother and father both supported her in her exploits and she worked hard to upgrade her magic so the she could get into the magic school. She took up studying every kind of magic that there was so that she could so that she could learn more about each types weaknesses and become knowledgeable in different magical abilities as a way to impress her professors and raise her chances of entering the magic college. Eventually when she was 18 she got a letter back from the college saying that she was accepted.

  Enhanced Physical Attributes: Charlotte is inhumanly strong and durable, and is capable of leaping large distances, sprinting for long periods of time, lifting surprisingly heavy objects, and other related physical feats.
  
  Gluttonous Hunger: As a human bound with a Glutton demon, Charlotte can eat just about anything, even things that are not particularly edible. However, the only things that can truly sate the hunger of Gluttons for any noteworthy amount of time are magic, and to a far greater and more important extent, souls. The more souls a Glutton consumes, the more powerful they become; they quite literally are what they eat. However, they do not absorb the powers of those that they consume; instead, their own innate abilities become strengthened as a result.
  
  Of course, there's a catch. If a Glutton does not eat on a regular basis, their hunger will drive them to greater and greater desperation, eventually resulting in madness. When kept in such a state for too long, even reasonably intelligent Gluttons will eventually lose their minds and resort to a irreversible feral state. If kept from their food for much longer, they will eventually wither and die. Consuming enough souls, ranging anywhere from hundreds of minor ones, to a handful of powerful ones, will eventually sate a Glutton enough for them to last several days without having to feast. Even so, hunger is a constant source of mental stress on a Glutton, making them more than likely to feast if the opportunity presents itself.
  
  Soul Smelling: In line with their desire to consume, Gluttons are also able to smell sources of magic, as well as souls themselves. Their sense of smell is nigh infallible in this regard; if a Glutton is to survive as a hunter, it has to be. The more powerful the soul, the more potent (and, of course, the more mouth-watering) the aroma.

  For better or worse, Charlotte is known as having a less-than-agreeable personality. Being bound to a Glutton demon has brought with it the perhaps expected bouts of irritability, rudeness, and crudeness, along with constant hunger; Charlotte is almost always seen eating or snacking, even when she doesn't need to, or shouldn't be.
  
  The drastic shift in the course of her life has also resulted in Charlotte taking on a rather nihilistic and apathetic outlook, which forms the source of the lazier side of her "grumpy slacker" personality. She believes that the actions of the masses ultimately do not matter, and that there's no point in attempting to judge people's actions. That does not mean that she believes that doing things is pointless, merely that pondering the morality of one's actions is a meaningless endeavor.
  
  Not to mention that there's a solid chance of the mortal plane going up in hellfire at the end of existence anyway. Oh well.

  Gluttons are some of the most dangerous demons in hell. But, they don't start out that way.
  
  True to their name, Gluttons are rampant eaters, regularly consuming the souls and bodies of others as well as their own kind. Within Hell's chain of power, so to speak, they tend to be kept under tight control; when they aren't fighting amongst themselves and consuming the most powerful among them before they can become too powerful, they are hunted by other demons and culled back to reasonable levels numbers before being left alone. However, they are never wiped out entirely; due to their ability to consume just about anything, they can be very helpful methods of disposing of important problems.
  
  Gluttons that have only consumed minor souls, or a handful of more powerful ones, are generally known as Lesser Gluttons, and contain little to no intelligence whatsoever, remaining little more than mindless beasts that bark and spit at so much as the slightest annoyance. The more souls a Glutton consumes, the more powerful and intelligent it becomes; though many Greater Gluttons are still little better than lumbering idiots (though frighteningly strong lumbering idiots all the same), a small few throughout time have managed to reach the intelligence that one would expect from a demon in their own right.

  Charlotte Wise grew up in a reasonably nice portion of a reasonably nice city, never asking for more than what she needed, and never needing more than what she had. Few records exist on her and her family, though from what can be gathered, it seems that her brother had more than a passing interest in some of the deeper aspects of the occult, while she herself was a straight-shooting A-grade student, with a promising--arguably prodigious--career in concert violin ahead of her.
  
  Indeed, whereas Charlotte aspired to play with the local philharmonic, her brother aspired to be a summoner, of all things. Pursuing power, he summoned from plane after plane, pulling forth creatures of varying power in order to do his bidding. One particular summoning session in particular, the calling of a Lesser Glutton, was to be no different. A mistake in the spell, however, resulted in the unthinkable. Rather than being bound to his will, the Glutton was instead bound to the body of his little sister.
  
  Though initially horrified, frightened, and overcome by the sudden hunger of the Glutton within her, Charlotte had no choice but to accept her new, mutated form. Initially, she attempted to continue on with her life as she used to, yet her new hunger made this impossible. Finally capitulating, she began nightly excursions out into her home city, killing the unfortunate loners that she came across in order to consume their souls. Her brother, understandably appalled, began to research various ways to return her to her former state.
  
  After two years with no progress, Charlotte, still consuming the unfortunate, had become rather comfortable with her new state, at least outwardly. In the name of rehabilitation, however, she nonetheless found herself enrolled in the Academy against her will.
  
  Even within this sanctuary for mages and misfits (which her brother, much to Charlotte's chagrin, does not attend), Charlotte has an absolutely terrible reputation, with some going so far as to blame various disappearances on her. Between her near-psychotic bouts of hunger, habit of skipping classes, nabbing food from the vending machines without paying for it, and frequent shattering of the school's code of conduct, Charlotte is very much on track to become the school's primary problem child. There's even talk that she'll be held back at the end of the year. Of course, she can't be kicked out. Not until she's under control, that is.
  
  Hopefully she doesn't take advantage of that.

  Kage tends to seem quite silent and brooding at first, but that is simply because he can be quite shy - which is fair enough, really. His shyness mainly comes from his past, though his personality is partially to blame there. He likes to read and study - actions, of course, best suited to doing by oneself, so he doesn't have much experience in the way of group activities. He is relatively lonely, but only because he is the sort of person who would rather have one really good friend than hundreds of mediocre friends. This makes him a good friend, in return. Other than reading, he likes to play card or puzzle games, preferring to keep his mind active, but also makes sure to exercise and eat healthily. A strong mind needs a strong body to support it, after all.
  
  Backstory:
  There is not really much to say about Kage. He is used to solitude as from a young age he always was the quiet one in class and rarely ever played with the other children. This make him briefly the focus of bullies, but even they gave up when they realised they couldn't get a reaction out of the kid. He knuckled down with his work, wanting to learn more about the magic he had been born with. His father quickly took not of the magic Kage possessed, and soon enough trained him in the art of swordplay, to best give him a chance when in combat. An invisible swordfighter was a force to be reckoned with, after all.
  
  After a while, he became able to efficiently make himself invisible - just as his personality would suggest - and to hone his magic came to Tsukaikari Academia.

  Kage is proficient in the casting art of invisibility. As such, he can cast many different spells to cloak him in invisibility to baffle and elude his enemies.
  - Indespectus: His usual invisibility spell. This 'cloaks' him in invisibility, granting him and his gear complete coverage from the sight of others.
  - Adspicio: Kage can also render another invisibility user useless, as he can detect any invisible person near him. This spell allows him to discern those using Magi to hide themselves, create illusions and perform other actions that would otherwise trick him.

  - Stealth: Kage is proficient in stealth, and can move quickly and quietly without real struggle. He is an expert in working in a person's blind spots, so can avoid detection if need be.
  - Katana Mastery: He can also wield a single katana with great ease.

  The kind of guy that thinks hes better than every one, with a "I dont give a fuck" attitude. Renji tends to be antisocial with a touch of a god complex, he believes that no one is worth his time and plans to rise quickly through the ranks of the magical council. He has no regard for others whether they do well and is in no way a team player. Hes the type of person who really doesn't give any regard to his enemies, doesn't acknowledge their power or fighting ability because in his mind they are all weaker then he is, whether its based on will power or strength. His greatest weakness is his pride in his abilities, and if someone were able to crush that pride he would be mentally destroyed.
  
  Background:
  Renji Had a rough child hood. He grew up in a underclass neighborhood and was treated poorly by his peers. His father worked as a low ranking magic council officer and didn't make enough money to move them into better neighborhoods. He was always kind of a black sheep, never getting along with anyone or wanting help from anyone, including his parents. His mother worked as a baker in a small bakery near where they lived. She was a kind woman, much nicer than Renji ever grew up to be and more helpful around the house than his over worked father.
  
  His father was always a bit lazy as a mage, he needed to support the family but he never really tried to get any better at using his magic. His mother supported him in all of his endeavors though, Renji never really understood why his father was so lazy and why his mother bothered to stay with him. That being said His father was scared of rising to high in the ranks and getting sent on a dangerous mission, one he wouldn't return from, leaving his child and wife alone, and because Renji couldn't see this he grew apart from his father, to the point where Renji wouldn't even welcome him home from work as he had in the past.
  
  Renji could never understand a lot of things, why children thought they were better than him at school, why his mother stayed with his father, why his father wouldn't become a more powerful mage, and why he couldn't do anything about it. But he did understand one thing better than anything else, and that was death. In the year 2165 when Renji was just 10 he was at school when he heard kids talking about how they had saw reports online of a robbery in his part of town. Renji ran home as fast as he could.
  
  Renji arrived at his house to find his father sat on the couch with a look of dread in his eyes, like he had made a huge mistake. That was the day that a common thug decided they wanted to make a bit of extra cash robbing a pretty much run down bakery. When the owner could only give him a small amount of cash the thug decided to use his magic to kill everyone inside and escape. His mother was working in the bakery on that day.
  
  Renji despised his father for a while as Renji believed that he could have done something to stop this and the man responsible was eventually arrested and given a death sentence for mass murder. It didn't take him too long to realize that it wasn't his fathers fault for his mother dying because they lived in a crappy neighborhood but his own, for not becoming stronger, not standing up to his father and telling him to be a man and get a better job.
  
  Renji Trained hard to further his abilities with magic further than anyone he knew, He began studying Mutant magic believing it to be the fastest path to becoming a powerful mage and expanded his capacity for magic even at a younger age. He also trained his body and mind to become sharper and more durable. He began to take great pride in all of his abilities, and he believed that he didn't need help from any one else because he had gotten this far on his own power. He didn't realize it but he had become like one of those kids that use to berate him when he was young, they had thought they were better than him and now he thinks that he is better than everyone else.
  
  Renji decided that he wanted to become a part of the magic council. This for him meant that he could quickly rise to the top, show his father that he was not afraid to do the things his father was afraid to do, and not be weak like him. Renji applied for the most prestigious magic academy near him when he graduated high school and was accepted almost immediately because of his fathers job on the magic council. His goal in all of this is to show that he will become the number one mage in his age and nothing can stop his rise to the top of the food chain.

Backstory: Once she was born, her family knew she was different. Most kids would sleep all day but not Skyler. She would stay up, crawl outside and enjoy what nature had to bring. As she got older and kids started getting into technology, she would go out into the woods and be one with nature, enjoying the flowers and climbing trees to their very tip. At school, she would get teased for being "different" but she didn't care. She kept living her life, out in nature, enjoying what earth made. One day, she saw a wolf cross her pat. It didn't seem to notice her though. She chased after it, silently, wondering what it was doing. When it stopped, it turned and looked at her. She felt her breath escape her for a moment but then she was able to breathe as if nothing happened. It ran off but Skyler just watched as it left. She was light headed but headed back home. The next morning, she decided to stay inside. She thought about the wolf again and wanted to draw it out. She drew out the part when the wolf looked at her. She had the image in her eyes, closing them and following her hand by what she saw. After a while, she added some detail and when she was about done, she drew a circle with weird lines in it. She suddenly felt lighter but then normal. She opened her eyes and went to get some water. As she was heading over to the water dispenser, she passed by a mirror. She looked and was shocked by the reflection. She was almost like the wolf she saw. She went back to her drawing and got another piece of paper. She saw the weird circle and started thinking of being human. She drew the circle and once again, she felt light. When it was done, she ran back to the mirror and saw she was herself again. After that, she never went out again and stayed in her room, only coming out for food, school, and bathroom. She did this for 6 years. At the age of 17, she finally had the urge to tell her parents. They told her that things like these were happening know and decided that next year, she would go to the school in Japan. She studied Japan the whole summer and when school started, it seemed she had spoken Japan fluently. She was scared but ready.

  A soft-spoken girl that comes from a life of luxury, Tessa is definitely one of the less eccentric characters in any given room. She's the sort of person to think before she acts and speaks, a distinct carefulness riddling her words and actions. To many, she's quick to be called slow and in more ways than one. Despite her life of opulence in both general life and education, she's no genius straight A student. While definitely a good-natured young girl, she's essentially a trust-fund kid who's coasting by on her parents' fortune. She is however, quite aware of this, and her decision to attend magical college is at once a bid to seperate herself from her parents' loving, but suffocating babying, and gain enough independence to where she can be proud of her own accomplishments.
  
  Backstory:
  The only daughter of a pair of doting mega-corporation executives, Tessa hasn't exactly led a difficult life up until now. Neither of the two are mages, nor have they shown any real inclination to invest themselves into the magical arts. Instead, they head one of the world's largest hotel chains, spanning 1102 four to five-star locations across 82 different countries. Each of them has a yearly income steep enough to put a small country to shame, and, well, that's enough of that. Tessa is definitely not a girl that is used to being left wanting, to put a long story short.
  
  Yet, in spite of how easy it would be for her to live out her life cruising off of her parents' limitless funds and her eventual inheritance, the entrepreneurial spirit that got her parents where they are today is not lost in her. At the beginning of her final year of high-school, the exact impotence of the life she had lined up for her began to dawn on her. She'd live comfortably without having to do a thing, eventually either find a boy influential enough to marry, or have one found for her and then spend the rest of her life accomplishing nothing.   Over the course of her final year of study, Tessa used her parents' influence and wealth to cobble herself together the best crash course in the magical arts that she could. Her grades in her mundane studies dropped, but that was hardly concerning to her. Slowly but surely she managed to break her way into the world of magic, eventually hoisting herself up to a point where she was able to enroll in a magical college and continue her education professionally.

  Personality: Thanks to excellent raising, he isn't quite as easy to piss off as most of his brethren. However, just because he has a long fuse does not make his temper any less explosive when it detonates. Playful, charismatic, and even a bit of a prankster, he seems to wear a smile a good percentage of the time he's around. However, once his Wrath has been triggered, he can become almost single-mindedly obsessed with destroying whatever set him off.
  
  Backstory: No one really knows anything about who his birth parents were. He was found as a toddler by two members of the Phantom Legion Guild. The Phantom Legion, although not a 'Dark Guild' persay, still has plenty of unsavory rumors surrounding it due to the way it operates. Run much like a military, the Legion gets the job done. Period. Their methods, however, sometimes don't sit well with others, who think they go overboard on occasion. If you want to know more about the Legion, look them up on your own time, this section isn't about them.
  
  The two that adopted him were Mary "Bloody Mary" Bludstone and Valerie "Valkyrie" Hawthorne. They had found him after a mission with no parents to speak of, and after an exhaustive search for any family turned up nothing, Valkyrie convinced Mary that the two of them could raise him.
  
  Now, raising a demon, or even a half-demon, for that matter, is not for the faint of heart. Especially if that toddler's temper tantrums quite nearly destroy the house. Even still, with Valkyrie's patient motherly talent and Mary's ability to administer some 'tough love', they were able to get through the difficult toddler stage. With Valkyrie being a caster mage and Mary being an item mage, they were a bit surprised to find he didn't gravitate towards either of their fields of magic. Confused, they brought the boy to Raiki, the leader of the Phantom Legion, to see what to do.
  
  Raiki, a man many suspect of being half-giant due to his stature, discovered that the boy had a knack for Summoning magic, particularly Contract Summoning. Noticing the lack of a Father-figure in the lad's female-centered lifestyle, Raiki began to stand in to fill that roll, serving as a mentor to the young mage, and even encouraged him to attend Tsukaikari Academy to improve himself.
  
  So, although he never knew his birth parents, he has never in his life felt a lacking of parental attention. Perhaps that's why he turned out so well.....

  Magic Type: Contract Summoner
  Not to be mistaken with a Familiar summoner, a Contract Summoner forms special contracts with various magical creatures. These contracts manifest themselves much like tattoos on the body, which allow the user to summon his Contract at will from the tattoo. This contract can either invoke the creature itself, or it can invoke its WeaponBeast form. These forms allow the summoner to access the Contracted familiar's abilities.
  Contracts:
  Basilisk - A full grown basilisk is capable of reaching easily 30+ feet in length, but the one he's contracted to measures about 17 feet in length, still very much an adolescent. He is rather prideful, and very much aware of a Basilisk's title as King of Serpents, and usually uses it as an excuse to be lazy. His WeaponBeast form is a Kusarigama that is capable of coating its blade in either a deadly or paralyzing poison.
  
  Nekomata - A two tailed cat, this summon is notorious for its ability to shape shift, command fire, and fly. Although not all nekomata fit the definition of a Therianthrope, this one does. She can assume a human form, though her intelligence is only comparable to that of a child, and she will always refer to herself in the third person. She is terribly immature, and often portrays her contract such that she is the Master instead of the Contracted Summon. Her WeaponBeast form is Cat's Claws.
  
  Salamander(Lightning) - Overgrown lizards filled with magic, Salamanders can be particularly fearsome. This particular one is in tune with Lightning magic. Its WeaponBeast form is a gem that appears in the user's palm to channel lightning-based attacks. A rather calm summon, he is a welcome balance to the more.. expressive personalities of the Basilisk and Nekomata.
  
  
  Demon Abilities:
  Enhanced Physical Attributes - To be expected of a half demon, his physical abilities tend to easily surpass those of a normal human.
  
  Wrath Incarnate - His power grows with his rage. The more angered he is, the more powerful and uncontrollable he becomes, triggering a Berserker mode. When this rage breaks, either because he's destroyed the cause of it or he's otherwise been placated, he tends to get sleepy, and can even pass out on the spot if his rage lasted long enough. Like all demons of wrath, he grows stronger when fueled by hatred, even the hatred of others.

  A foreigner in a place thats strange to him Hannibal thinks himself a kind and generous person. He grew up learning good morals and how to control himself in the face of anger and has wonderful anger management skills. When it comes to his abilities as a mage he tends not to boast, but he sees himself as fairly skilled.   Backstory:
  Born as the son of a God and a mortal woman Hannibal grew up not knowing his true nature. He grew up as a simple farm hand in Ireland never concerning himself with the world of magic, nor knowing who his father was as he had left him when he was a young boy. Hannibal helped his mother in anyway that he could, never saying no to her requests, as in this world he was all alone and so was she. He never really had any friends, he went to school but missed most days due to the fact that he had work to do on the farm.
  
  It was around when he turned 12 that he learned his true nature. He had been playing in the field when the ground beneath him collapsed and he fell down into what he had assumed at the time was an under ground water spring that had been disrupted over the years of farming and had collapsed because of it. He sat down there for hours on end waiting for somebody to come and save him from the hole he fell in. He tried to climb out but to no avail, that was until something new awakened inside of him and he grew wings and flew out of the hole he was in.
  
  A couple more years passed after he had discovered his power. He never told his mother, he knew how gods were feared in the world, understanding that he was a half god and that he would not be treated with kindness if he were to ever be found out. In secret, away from his mother he began to practice magic, and learn Japanese so that he could attend the worlds largest magical academy in the world.
  
  He knew that is he continued to live with his mother with the abilities that he had that one day the magic council in Ireland would coming looking for him and burn his mother at the stake for being a witch that slept with a God. With that being said at age 17 he left his mother behind, leaving a note explaining his departure and leaving for Japan where he would become the mage to change the worlds views on half demons and half gods. Upon his arrival in Japan He noticed that there were a lot of things done differently here than in his home, and he quickly adapted to the lifestyle, eventually being accepted to enroll into Tsukaikari Academia.

  Viridi is quite a calm, gentle individual who rarely seeks combat or other violent activities. She much prefers to take the simpler, less stressful route in life - she isn't a sloth, though, but just someone who likes to relax and not overdo it. She can get work done just fine but, thanks to her less strenuous life, can typically do it without breaking a sweat or becoming overworked. She knows her limits, and never exceeds them - whether that's a good thing, though, is up to debate. She can be influenced, though, if need be. For fun, she'll typically just read a book or play a more relaxing game like solitaire or something, though she can be quite energetic with her friends - often outperforming even her more sportier friends. Really, what she likes doing depends on who she's with at the time. However, she isn't without faults. She is the daughter of an Envy demon and, while she doesn't yearn for the world nor act on her impulses, can feel herself becoming jealous of others over some things...love, possessions and so on. She tries to suppress it but...well, it's in her genetics to want what others have. She does calm down if she has something equally as cool or valuable in her mind, though. And, as aforementioned, she would never actually act on her natural envy.
  
  Backstory:
  Viridi was born form a human man and a demonic woman called Midori. Midori was a surprisingly good mother and wife who remained hidden in society for several years before she met Viridi's father and, while she did become envious every now and then, manages to live in the human world without massive issue. When Viridi was born, though, her natural envious state was completely overruled. As she saw it, her daughter and husband were all she could ever want. And the fact that her husband was quite rich from his work.
  
  So, Viridi had a nice life. A quiet one. Midori taught her how to control her demonic powers, though in secret (truth be told, she doesn't think that even her father knows of his wife's secret) and, eventually suggested to come to the new Academy to learn other spells and to better improve herself. Besides, it would be less suspicious for her to join a school anyways.

  Magic Type:
  Viridi is able to cast a minor Tenebrae spell, though shows great promise in learning more powerful ones.
  - Parva Tenebris: A minor Tenebrae spell that creates a 'bubble' of darkness on a point she can see. She can use it to cloak herself, hide others...but, other than that, it has no real purpose. And she isn't proficient enough in stealth, nor can she see in the dark, to really be able to use the ability efficiently.
  
  Being a half demon, though, she has access to some...unnatural spells.
  - Clipeum: She can create a purple shield in front of her, that absorbs magic from all magic attacks that hit it. It can absorb the entirety of weak magic, most of medium magic and about half of strong magic. She still gets hit normally by the excess, though, so she has to be careful with it. Using this spell, she absorbs magic into her very being.
  - Invida Repellere: Potentially the weakest ever spell, or the strongest ever spell. This spell takes the form of a beam of raw Magi (or Demonic, if she absorbed Demonic particles before use) energy that can sometimes change elemental type based on what was absorbed as a majority. The beam utilises all the magic her Shirudo spell has absorbed, meaning that the more she uses the spell to block magic the more powerful the attack is.
  - Formam Mutatio: Being a half demon of Envy, she can shapeshift into another being roughly her size and shape (in other words, other humanoid beings). She is not yet trained enough in manipulating Magi to be able to perform a shapeshift like true Envy demons can - as in, gaining memories and skills, as well as a new face.
  
  Abilities:
  Viridi, being half demon, has a few strange abilities that some may consider unnatural.
  - Peak Human Form: While not being anything supernatural, per say, she is capable of feats that is surprising for someone who looks like her. She is as strong as a pro wrestler, as fast as an Olympian, and as agile and quick as a martial artist. While she does exceed anything a well trained human can do, it's clear that her strength, agility and speed is nothing that she should be able to do. Hence why she rarely utilises her full potential - she doesn't want to be caught.
  - Envy Sense: As simple as it sounds. She can sense envy in those around her, though she rarely actually acts on it. Fortunately for others, she doesn't feed on it like true demons. Probably.
  
  She can do other things, though, from her own experiences.
  - Tomahawk Mastery: Don't ask. It's safer that you don't.

  Spoiler: Demon Form

  Like most half breeds, she has a demon form she rarely uses in order to keep herself hidden. In this form, her abilities and spells are enhanced and she naturally creates Demonic particles - which are automatically absorbed into herself. This means that, over time, her Invida Repellere spell becomes more powerful - instead of it needing to absorb other magic spells. She also gains a 'third eye', which can be used to see magic (allowing her to see the invisible, see others through walls and so on) and wings with which she can fly. Her Formam Mutatio is also enhanced, allowing her to retain recent memories of those she changes into, as well as some of their spells.

  Hana is basically your basic bitch. She enjoys the simple stuff in life such as going for walks around the city, drinking coffee in a cafe, and travelling all over. She also enjoys going to the gym and doing a bit of running. She trains her small body because she feels that some people will comment that she is still small and frail for her age, which irritates her to the point where she gets super pissed. She hates when people call her small and tends to give them the cold shoulder, even though she realizes that she is small, she also tends to cover up her breasts in some sort of guilty act, to make the person who called her small think that she thinks that they are talking about her breast size.
  
  Hana also posses traits common with both a type A and type B tsundere. While she tends to get overly mad for no reason around the person that she seems to care for or has fallen in love with she also tends to express a lot of anger based on their actions or what they say to her. Hana also tends to express her shy side when no one else is around, she can be very cute but tends not to show off this side as its embarrassing and she would probably punch the person who saw her acting this way. She has a very profound grasp of magical knowledge, but she tends to keep this to herself, not wanting to come off as a smarty pants and all.
  
  Hana is also unaware that she is a homunculus, as she was never told by her mother and she has no memories of her creation. She behaves as a normal human and is unable to distinguish how she is different from other humans in regards to being artificial, nor can other humans distinguish how she is different. Of course because she was made in a lab by her mother she has no father, but in that regard she also feels like her mother was always enough to take care of her.
  
  Hana has the terrible fear of lightning, and tends to get easily scared at the sound of it, again because this isn't a emotion she usually expresses she tend to get easily embarrassed and hit anyone in the vicinity of seeing her like this. She also gets terrible motion sickness when on airships and boats, though cars and trains dont bother her as much unless its an incredibly bumpy ride. Hana aspires to be a well renown mage and own her own guild some day.
  
  Backstory:
  Hana Was made by her mother in lab. Being a homunculus Hana should have had memories of her birth but she had none. Apparently there were some peculiar methods used when Hana was created that made her more human than regular homunculi and her memories surrounding her birth were wiped, so that Hana's mother could allow her to live as a normal human girl. And with that Hana was born, not knowing what she was, believing that she was just a regular human girl. Hana basically grew up in her mothers lab. She spent most of her time watching her mother working on magical constructs and developing new technology, though she had always said that Hana was her greatest creation, though Hana never did take that as literal as it was.
  
  Hana was home schooled by her mother for most of her younger years, though she still had neighborhood friends. Hana never really understood why her mother never let her go to regular school, being a homunculi and all her mother figured it would affect Hana negatively if she were to be treated as a regular human, but by the time Hana hit the age that she was ready to take on middle school she begged and pleaded to her mother to let her go to a regular school, to make friends, and live a life outside of the lab. Hana's mother was static at first, not changing her opinion on the matter but eventually realizing that one day she would have to let Hana go off into the world and do her own thing she relented and allowed Hana to apply for a regular middle school.
  
  It was around this time Hana discovered her affinity for wind magic. She began to practice her new found magical abilities and learn more about magic as time went on. She enjoyed practicing magic tremendously. Eventually instead of aspiring to be a scientist like her mother and develop new technologies she began to aspire to be a mage and lead a guild of her own some day. Her mother Supported her ideals, which surprised Hana, as Hana had always thought her mother would be strict on her continuing the family tradition of being a scientist. So with those goals in mind as soon as Hana turned 18 she applied for the largest magical college in Japan, Tsukaikari Academia.
  
• Homunculi are artificial humans created using human dna and magical constructs. They can be created in the womb of the mother or in stasis tanks. They use human dna to make up for most of the creation but also use magic parts to give them life. They use a magically constructed organs and veins to operate their body but have real human blood and will grow similar to a human. They are also physically more durable and physically stronger than humans, though they dont express human emotion well, Hana being an exception to this as she is less durable and strong as your average homunculi but expresses human emotion perfectly. Most remember their creation and everything is data to them, again Hana being the exception as she has no memories of her creation.

  Kiyoko is a girl with a bad attitude. Despite trying to be a kind and gentle teacher to her students her poor behavior tends to come through while teaching her students. She tends to give her students her signature death glare when they misbehave in class and throw things across the class room when students fall asleep such as chalk, or markers, or erasers. She can be sweet in light of all this, congratulating students on wonderful efforts and rewarding them with bonus marks and the like. This side of her may be more suited for a high school or even middle school teacher rather than a college professor but she enjoys teaching magic to the next generation mages.
  
  Out side of the class room Kiyoko tends to enjoy the little things in life like watching the sun rise, going on picnics and eating a ton of take out. Being a former Council woman she tends to miss her old job a lot, but tries to enjoy this one equally, as she probably wouldn't be doing it if she didn't enjoy it. She has a fear of the dark and darkness magic in regard to her injury, knowing that its something she will eventually get over, but the fear of being injured like that again still stands. She has Minor PTSD from the things she saw while working with the council and is one of the reasons she was deemed unfit to continue her job on the front lines.
  
  Backstory:
  Kiyoko Worked in the magic council under the main Tokyo Squad for a number of years. While working she encountered a number of things that should have been disturbing to any normal human being, that being said Kiyoko tended to dive into her job, ignoring everything that should have made her sick, and tried to do her job with pride, working towards promotion after promotion. She was a splendid mage, learning the ability to control five different elements at a young age, though while she wanted to expand her knowledge further and learn more by the time she had graduated college and join the council she could never find the time to do that. She worked her way up from a rookie on the council to a driving force in the councils vanguard in the war on demons and gods.
  
  One day while with her squad investigating a strange magical occurrence she and her team encountered a demon of Wrath using darkness magic. They were wiped out in nearly an instant, leaving their cold dying bodies on the ground. When they were found Kiyoko was barely hanging on to life, her body broken and bloody. She quickly airlifted to a hospital while they preformed first aid using magic on her. After about a year of medical treatment, surgeries, plastic surgeries, and physical therapy Kiyoko was back in tip top shape. Though when she went back for her first day back with the council she had a mental break down after training with someone who used Darkness magic. Her mental health was reevaluated and she was deemed unfit to work with the council. Devastated Kiyoko nearly ended her life many times. But then a new opportunity arose when Tsukaikari Academia was in need of a replacement teacher, and after hearing about her experiences asked her to come teach, thinking that someone who has experienced the real life consequences of being a mage would be better suited to teaching a course that would prepare the next generation of mages for those real life consequences. SO she accepted the job and has been teaching there ever since.

Iori’s appearance gives him an air of unapproachability, but the young man is, perhaps, one of the more polite people around. Especially to girls. He seems to take particular interest in watching the fairer sex, and complimenting them in however he wishes. Perhaps it is the joy that they feel when they receive such praise that drives him to do so. Where most of the female population are more like to express happiness with simple (albeit genuine) compliments, males are a harder batch to draw his sustenance from. Some prefer to be complimented on their strength and their skill, and even then, some are indignant that they receive no such praise, and as such, Iori has to work harder to get his ‘food’, as it were. He is no knight in shining armor, and he is more like to stay out of a confrontation than to participate in it, but he does have some sense of chivalry, and seems to take it upon himself to be as gentlemanly as possible.

Iori maintains his politeness even when putting down others, and this often leaves his responses drowned out by louder noise. If one does, however, pay attention to what he says, he tends to deliver burns of extreme levels even when he doesn't raise his voice in the most backhanded way possible.

He has a particular sharp eye for details when it comes to people’s personality, and uses his silver tongue to use these openings to get at a person’s heart. He seems to be just manipulating people for more ‘food’, and it may be that he’s seeing ‘friends’ as just reliable food providers. His expressions and underwhelmingly polite responses certainly don't betray his true intentions.
Backstory:
Who knows what his mother was, a God or a Demon. His capability to draw power from God particles seems to imply she was part of the pantheon of Gods, but her status as an Emotion Eater, a being that drew power and sustenance from the feelings of humans, seems to imply that she could be one of either. Nonetheless, she seemed to have fallen for a human male who, in her own words, gave her the most love in her entire life as a deity.

Born to this quizzical matrimony, Iori inherited his mother’s emotion eating capabilities, though severely powered down. He couldn't gain much power from eating others’ emotions, but so long as there was another person around him that felt something, he could draw life from it. Both of his parents felt that he should embrace his heritage, both of magic and demi-godhood. As such, both of them began to teach him on their respective disciplines, his father as a mage, and his mother as a God. His father taught him magicks and the art of it, and he picked up Ventus fairly quickly, and his mother taught him how to sow the seeds of emotions in people, to bring out their feelings so that he could live off it and call upon it in replacement of Magi.

And so, Iori Amano lived a life of ‘that strange boy who was pretty alright’. He got along with others well enough, but his strangeness earned him weird looks from others, and even set some bullies on him. All he did was got along with them, turning them into friends with select wording and some bribery, manipulating them emotionally.

He was introduced to Tsukiakari Academy by his father, and as such, brought his studies there, a simple enough tale.


Magic Type:
Caster Magic: Ventus

Abilities/moves:
Levitation and Flight: Iori is capable of creating a strong wind from underneath him to lift him up and carry him across large areas at high speeds. Due to the sheer strength of these winds being able to cause collateral damage in enclosed spaces, he cannot use it indoors.

Accursed Wind: Vartex: Iori creates a small whirlwind of wind blades at his hands. These function as well as chainsaws, and the blades are about as large as he is tall. This is Iori’s main mode of self-defense in close combat.

Unrelenting Storm: Tempesta: Iori creates a runic circle with both his hands, and subsequently blasts out a storm of powerful blades of wind in a funnel. This is Iori’s main form of ranged attack, and is powerful enough to punch a hole through a wall if it hits directly.

Fervor of Susanoo: Iori creates an ‘armor’ of destructive wind blades on the surface of a person’s fists or their weapons, increasing their cutting/piercing strength manifold. He specifically crafts these ‘armors’ based on how his target is going to attack, such as imbuing a person’s punch to create a blast of Tempesta when it hits. This spell is particularly volatile, so once it has been activated, its effects dispel after one strike.

Dance of Ame-no-Uzume: Iori imbues either himself or an ally with the blessings of the wind on their entire body. It activates immediately upon receiving a physical attack, creating a blast of Tempesta straight at the attacker. Like Fervor, it works only once, and has to be reapplied again once it is dispelled.

Emotion Eater: He draws power and sustenance from strong feelings. It doesn't matter if it is intense love or overpowering hatred, so long as it is within his vicinity, he gets most of his fill for the day by ‘eating’ said emotions. It doesn't show much effect on his hosts, so his feeding is mostly benign.

Other talents:
Not too bad in a fight, though he prefers to just overwhelm his opponents with his powerful spells.

Skilled in adaptive tactics, and is able to change his strategy at the drop of a hat without much fuss.

Pretty good with his hands in general. His pickiness in materials and ingredients aside, he can sew up a pretty dress with enough time, and is capable of whipping up succulent dishes.

Due to being educated by both his parents in magic prior to attending the Academy, he is skilled with using his spells, being able to cast them without much hassle.

Emotion Eaters:
Gods who base their powers off not only Godly particles, but also the emotions of all beings. Though classified as Gods, they are often stereotyped as a true neutral being on creation, who can swing either way depending on their ‘tastes’ so to speak. Some have discovered a taste for hatred and fear, and so seek to sow such seeds amongst the human realm, finding ways to create such emotions, sometimes even consorting with demons to do so. Others, like Iori’s mother, choose instead to live off positive emotions, like love and hope. Still, both types still draw power and sustenance from either negative or positive emotions, so it is always a mixed bag with them. As a result, both Gods and Demons find them extremely hard to trust.

God and Demon emotions do not taste as nice as human emotions to most Emotion Eaters.

Naomi is a pretty woman standing at a height of 5'7". She sports long, free-flowing hair with an average (but well maintained) form. She is generally found wearing the store's uniform as she rarely has a day off. In the odd circumstance she's found outside of work she dresses in a fairly conservative style. While she doesn't forsake fashion her choice of dress is far from the trendiest or flashiest.

Personality:
Naomi has a motherly, older-sister feel to her. She's polite and caring while still being approachable and casual. She doesn't mind listening to the tales and complaints of her customers and she'll offer advice as best she can. Given her devotion to her store she can be fairly socially awkward which means the advice she gives can often be flawed due to her lack of experience. It's also due to this social ineptitude that she will often misinterpret signs, believing a person means one thing when they mean something else. She's fully aware of these shortcomings but believes they can't be changed. Rather than focus on something that can never change she instead devotes herself to her store and her patrons. Naomi also has a great love of gardening and her shop is littered with various potted plants and flowers that she cares for.


Backstory:
Naomi was born to an entirely benign family. Her father and mother owned a corner-store that happened to sit in some prime real estate. Directly on the path between the majority of the dorms and the academy it was a frequent stop for students both on their way to and from school. Naomi, however, was born with zero aptitude for magic. Even the most basic of magics were beyond her ability. Indeed she was all but a relic from the past, before humanity gained this power. Unable to make use of magic she, obviously, did not attend the academy and was instead homeschooled by her parents.

From any early age Naomi helped out around the store, her chores usually being kept light such as cleaning or helping sort goods. Over the years she learned every facet of the store, every nook and cranny. She could tell you the exact spot of any item you were looking for and she became quite adept at helping the customers with a smile. However, the combination of her homeschooling and chores around the store meant she had little time for other activities. As such she grew up without anyone she could truly call a friend, save one girl who frequented the store on a daily basis.

As much as her parents wanted her to be more social she was always content just working the store. What little companionship she needed was filled by the daily visits she received. Her parents, obviously, could not force her to be more social so they just decided to go with it. Naomi's normal, every-day life came to an end when she was nineteen. Her parents were killed in an accident leaving her alone in the world. Naomi did the only thing she could and threw herself into the store even more than she already had. And while the pain of her loss faded with the years her devotion to her family's shop never did. So even to this day she manages that corner store, caring for new generations of students that pass through.

It makes her seem all business and no fun. This can make it somewhat difficult to really get to know her even though she is somewhat sociable. If someone pushes the right buttons, they might actually make her crack a smile or even explode in anger.

Backstory
Noemi is from the last few thousand members of the traditional Koga ninja clan. There aren't many left in this era and the tradition has slowly faded away as change and progress lead more and more of the clan away. She was taught to have pride in her clan's history and traditions. She trained and studied since her earliest years, even branching out to learn other fading traditions in order to preserve them within herself until she could perhaps teach someone else.

Due to the ninja villages depending on tourism to continue to support their simple traditional lives, it was strange when her parents decided to send her to Tsukaikari Academia. They wanted her to learn more about her magical abilities from there and come back. It wasn't so that she could abandon her life there or change their ways when she returned, it was to learn magic inscribing and magic weapon production they wanted her to focus on. Skills that could help support her clan without forsaking their lifestyle.

  Ahcualli is an...odd fellow. Despite his magic proficiencies and his general demeanour - and the rumours that aren't probably true (at the very least, there's no evidence) - he is a relatively okay guy. He's a bit quiet and reserved, and chanting can be heard from his room on a night, but that's probably fine. He doesn't speak about his past - at all (not even to the other staff, unless he got really close with them; which, as you can imagine, won't be happening any time soon) - and will usually shut people down if they ask. Harshly. Generally speaking, though, he is actually quite helpful - in a painfully honest way. He will say what needs to be said, not what a person wishes to hear. If he thinks they are incompetent or rude or anything, really, he will let you know.
  
  As a teacher, he is pretty strict. He is here to do a job, and will not tolerate messing around. He also despises violence or anything like that (at least, on the students' end) and will generally be the first to arrive to stop any kerfuffles that may break out. And the last. The way he wields magic is somewhat terrifying - horribly calculated and ruthless, and will generally quickly overpower any opponent he faces. However, if anyone has an actual question or help that needs solved, he will help to the best of his ability.
  
  All in all, Ahcualli may seem a bit...reclusive and strict, but generally an alright person. If you avoid him.
  
  Backstory:
  Ahcualli is a very mysterious man. No-one knows where he came from, who he is or anything...just that he appeared one day and 'requested' demanded that he would work as one of the teachers in this new academy. Why? Only he has that answer. His name, or anyone sharing it, doesn't even exist on any country's database - whether that simply means he comes from a family that doesn't do anything noticeable from the government, that he's using a fake name or something a little more...sinister, no-one has any idea. At some point in his life (or after his death, if you believe the rumours) he had suffered a tremendous burn or perhaps acid injury of some sort that has left his head, neck and half of his torso completely scarred which, oddly, seems to be resilient against both magical and mundane methods of healing. Again, only he knows the truth of what happened because surprise, surprise he doesn't tell anyone. Perhaps it is simply to avoid bad memories, people sticking their nose into business he wants kept to himself or maybe it's something more...evil. Either way, his past is shrouded in mystery - why, though, is the real question.

  Magic Type:
  Ahcualli is at heart a summoner mage, a very powerful one, and can summon hordes of creatures to his aid in combat. Some say that there is something a lot more...terrifying that he can summon not listed below, but rumours are just rumours...right? He could probably learn new spells quite quickly if the job called for it, but at the moment this is what he knows.
  - Ossa Cantavit: His basic necromantic summon spell. With this, he can summon a horde (roughly ten or twenty) fairly brittle skeletons that function more like cannon fodder than actual attacking forces. Despite their incredibly weak and frail bodies, and their...not so subtle attack patterns, they aren't to be underestimated if they get close - they will easily tear a man apart as a man would tear them apart.
  - Ossa Elementum: A spell similar to Ossa Cantavit, except only summons two skeletons. However, these skeletons are a little more resistant and also come equipped with an elemental mastery - giving them a few spells in a certain element that Ahcualli desires. Generally speaking, each elemental skeleton will have a long ranged spell, such as a fireball or a lightning bolt, a close range spell such as a burning hands or a shocking touch, and a self destruct spell that blows them up - sending elementally charged bone shrapnel at the foe. And everything else around them. This, as you can imagine, 'kills' the summon.
  - Ossa Bellator: Realising that not all problems can be solved with magic, Ahcualli took the time to learn how to create a skeleton with a little more might than magic. As such, he can summon a heavily armoured eight foot skeleton, equipped with either a greatsword and shield or a ballista sized crossbow, that uses non magical means to get the job done. He also uses this summon to act as his strongman, lifting things he doesn't want to carry.
  - Ossa Parva: A mix between necromantic and familiar/animal summoning, Ahcualli can summon a myriad of smaller skeletal creatures - birds, mice, dogs as the biggest - to perform simple tasks for him such as mail delivery, simple fetch quests or something similar. Something he wouldn't trust his skeletal brute to handle, but is still too lazy to do himself.
  - Telum Vinctum Arcum: Summons a bow made of pure summoning energy, that fires an endless amount of arrows. The bow looks relatively normal, except it is made of a corporeal black energy. Other than the fact it fires limitless arrows and is completely weightless (being made of pure magic) it does little else.
  - Telum Vinctum Falx: Summons a scythe made of the same magic as the bow. Is weightless, allowing him to swing it around with ease, but since it is magic it still does damage just like any other weapon.
  - Umbra Bestia: His admittedly favourite spell, he can summon an elemental of darkness. The beast takes on the rough form of a four legged dire wolf like creature, but can change its shape at will. It can seep into the shadows and strike form the darkness, making it a terrifying creature to fight in areas shrouded in darkness or shadow. At night, its strength also amplifies massively. Oddly, there were reports of a similar sounding creature attacking villages centuries ago...nah, that can't be right.
  - Os Impetum: A speciality spell of Ahcualli's. This spell happens nearly instantly as it is, in as sense, half a spell. He starts creating a skeleton but, rather than completing it and granting it sentience he blasts the bones outward towards the foe like shrapnel like a hail of arrows. After attacking with the barrage of bones, he can then assemble it into whatever skeleton summon it was originally going to be as long as the majority of the bones are still intact.
  
  Ahcualli also has a few caster spells up his sleeve, but nothing anywhere near a caster teacher.
  - Umbra Trebem: A spell that fires pure dark magic in the form of a beam. It hurts like each layer of Hell, but doesn't do much else.
  - Umbra Manus: A shadowy hand that can be used to grab things. Ahcualli can also create a larger version of this hand, that can ensnare naughty students if need be. Or victims. Or both.
  - Ultimum Clypeus: One of the strongest warding spells available, that can protect Ahcualli from most kinds of damage incredibly well. However, like with a lot of his spells, they absorb a lot of Magi to do it.
  - Sorbere: A simple Magi regeneration spell that amplifies the magic recovery process by absorbing magic from the surrounding area. Using this may cause magical artefacts to be drained of power, or electric and fire orbs to be emptied, but the spell is not powerful enough to take magic from attacks.

  - Teaching: As one may hope from the main summoning teacher, he has a fair old amount of information in the noggin he can call upon at will.
  - Strategy: His main way of solving problems is to think about them and work them out, but the same applies to his fighting. 'Even the strongest lockbox can be opened with the right amount of leverage in the right place.'
  - Silent Casting: Ahcualli's spellcasting prowess has advanced to the point where he does not need to speak the command words to each spell, and can instead simply think them.

Personality: Lucille is a cheerful girl who giggles alot and always supports her friends. She believes the best of everyone to a fault, even when it's clear someone is wrong. Lucille still believes everyone can get along while most children had wised up and known better at much younger ages. Lucille overthinks situations and applies far too much empathy than anyone deserves.


Backstory: Lucille comes from a family of casters who are adept at Sanitatem and Lux magic. Her family were rich and quite famous throughout the magical world, she is the youngest child of the Lightwoods, a world renown family of magic users. You've probably heard of them...But I bet you didn't know they had a daughter, despite the ongoing looks when people hear her last name, she generally tries to be normal.
