  Well, hello there, and thank you for stopping into my humble, little interest check! Please don't let my lack of posts scare you away, I may be new to the site but I'm not new to role playing. Take a chance on me and I promise you won't regret it.
  
  
  Now, onto the boring housekeeping part of the thread.

  As a straight female I'm most comfortable with heterosexual romance, but that doesn't mean I won't have characters of different sexual orientations. I may just not use them as much. That being said, I usually play female characters but I'm not opposed to having a male character or two as well. The more the merrier. I tend to lean towards being an advanced RPer, meaning I can usually crank out 4+ detailed paragraphs on a good day. Good grammar is always appreciated, but I realize that mistakes happen when your fingers are typing faster than your brain is telling them what to say. Shit happens, I'm not going to rip you a new one. I love, love, love getting to know my partners through OOC. I want to be your friend! Romance and plot twists are a must, everything else I'm not that picky about.
  
  
  OH! I also ask that my partners be at least 18+, seeing as how I'm 21 and don't shy away from mature themes such as violence, gore, language, ect.

  Setting: Somewhere in the USA, but TBD
  
  
  Basics: A string of heinous murders are being committed, leaving local authorities scratching their head for answers...and looking for help in the most unusual places. The Bible. It seems each one of these crimes correspond with a punishment found in the Old Testament, and the murders are being done by members of an ultra religious cult.

  Setting: Europe, but will change throughout the RP
  
  
  Basics: Contortionists. Warlocks who parade around as magicians. Demons. Fire eaters. Fae. Pickpockets. Werewolves. Clowns. Vampires. Animal tamers. Two headed beauties. These are the likes of who you will find under Noir's circus tent. Noir is a traveling circus/carnival made up of nonhumans, that is until a human signs a contract in blood...but why was she chosen by Noir's leader? Nothing is as it seems in this world of dangerous intrigue.

  Basic: She doesn't remember how she got here, what her name is, or why she's wearing a hospital gown. He doesn't know why he feels so compelled to help her.   Setting: England, or some other European country
  
  
  Basics: Witches and wolves are bonded at birth, and bonded for life. It is the job of the wolf to protect and serve their witch. Their bond is a unique one, but a strict one. Romance is forbidden with safeguards in place...but what happens when those safeguards fail?

  Setting: A major city, possibly New York or Atlanta
  
  
  Basics: The Black Merchant's Guild controls the city, its black hand is in everything. Those in charge are merely puppets, acting on behalf of the Guild. Many have tried to bring them down, but no one has succeeded...or survived trying to do so. Will the only remaining police officer with a conscious be able to?

  Setting: Washington D.C.
  
  
  Basics: A Russian spy has infiltrated the White House, but finds what he least expects...that the President's wife is an adulteress with bold plans of her own. What could possibly go wrong when the two begin a wild affair?

  Time period: 1800s London, and then fantasy medieval
  
  
  Setting: London and then a fantasy country
  
  
  Basics: A young woman(or young man) lives in 1800s London, he/she is a street urchin that steals for a living. One day he/she happens to steal a particularly expensive looking book from an extremely eccentric looking old man. When he/she opens the book it's blank except for a hand written note.
  
  
  "Enjoy, [insert name of character here]."
  
  
  Before he/she can angrily throw the book into a dirty puddle, the books sucks them in and they are deposited into a world very unlike their own. This world is a magical one, with magical creatures and magical things...but it is also a world plagued by darkness. The Unseelie are trying to enslave those who they deem below them(which is everyone, because Fae are dicks) and this magical world is being torn apart by war. The young woman/man because an unlike hero and teams up with all sorts of magical creatures.

Hello! I, like you, am pretty new to this site in terms of RPs I've been in, but I am an "old hand" at RPing itself. As a fellow lover of romance and plot twists, you seem like my kind of person. Luckily enough, I turned 18 just about 5 months ago. Looking through your original plots, I was intrigued by the Noir and Far from Home ideas. In particular, the ambiguousness of the Far from Home premise interests me. Would you like to perhaps expand on that in a PM?
