Realistic or Modern A life without trust, is no life at all

WARWOLF01

VFA-118 "Warwolf" Squadron
"What happens when trust is no longer able to be attained by a person? Is it dead? Does the person turn into a rabid dog or a lonely person who can't trust anyone? What if everything you knew about your life and how you thought you could trust people just....blew away? In the snap of a finger, your trust was gone and there's no way to get it back." - Anonymous Speaker

Scenario:

Muse A (MC) is a young male in his late 20s, working from home because he likes the fact that he doesn't have to worry about trusting people. He prefers this life and yet, something is missing, something in his life that was once there in his heart is gone, taken if you will, he can't get it back, because that piece of himself has been forever broken and will never get it back. That piece of himself is one of the thing that allow us to be human in our lives, without this essential component, are we no better than the animals that we evolved from? Are we not just specs of dirt in the greater dirt pile that is life on a planet of 6 billion other fellow people? Muse A, has no trust in others, no faith that anything will change with anyone, he has given up on hope and has given up on trying to trust those who he would have at one point called 'friend' or 'family'. Muse B(YC), is a person who has complete faith in the world, her friends and her family, one day she meets muse A while standing in line to get some groceries and notices how standoffish and almost completely devoid of life in the way he acts, talks and acts. Muse B decides to see what the reason for this sudden irregularity in a normal person's life is, but instead gets the same response she saw in the store and what's worse is when Muse A looks at her, his eyes are cold, unforgiving and devoid of anything that shows a personality, all she can see in those eyes are a black and empty wasteland. Can Muse B find a way to restore Muse A's faith and trust in humanity and more importantly, in himself and others that could get close to him? But, can she also help him to know what love is? What it means to care for someone and love them with all your heart and be worried for their safety along with many other feelings and emotions that are no longer a part of Muse A's sole personality?

if anyone is interested, let me know in a pm, thank you.
