This is a grim alternate ending to my recently-concluded RP, detailing Ichabod Quinn's call to emergency services before his death.

I made it a while back just for fun, but I figured I might post it somewhere c:

DISPATCHER: "911, what is the location of your emergency?"

[SILENCE]

DISPATCHER: "Hello, if you have an emergency, please pr-"

ICHABOD: "Sorry."

DISPATCHER: "Sir, what is the location of your emergency?"

ICHABOD: "I'm sorry. I'm only going to be on the call for five minutes, I don't want to be here when they..."

DISPATCHER: "Sir, what is your name?"

ICHABOD: "Ichabod Quinn."

DISPATCHER: "And what is the address of-"

ICHABOD: "I'm in the basement. At home, I'm at [REDACTED]."

DISPATCHER: "Okay. And what is the nature of your emergency?"

[SILENCE]

DISPATCHER: "What happened, sir?"

ICHABOD: "She's dead."

DISPATCHER: "She's dead? Who is dead?"

ICHABOD: "She-... Avery is dead, I killed her."

DISPATCHER: "You killed someone?"

ICHABOD: "Yes. Avery Graham."

DISPATCHER: "Where is she?"

ICHABOD: "She's here with me. Can you call the police?

DISPATCHER: "Yes, please stay on the line, okay? Police are on the way."

ICHABOD: "Thanks."

DISPATCHER: "Is she breathing?"

ICHABOD: "No, I made sure."

DISPATCHER: "You-... You made sure?"

ICHABOD: "Yes, I made sure she was dead."

DISPATCHER: "This was intentional?"

ICHABOD: "Yes. She asked me to."

DISPATCHER: "Where is the weapon?"

ICHABOD: "The weapon..."

DISPATCHER: "Yes, what did you kill her with?"

ICHABOD: "I have a weapon but I didn't kill her with it, I used my machine-"

DISPATCHER: "Machine?"

ICHABOD: "-and I have a gun, but I didn't use it on her."

DISPATCHER: "Sir, where is the gun?"

ICHABOD: "In my hand. But I didn't shoot her with it."

DISPATCHER: "Okay, are you able to secure the gun elsewhere right now?"

[SILENCE]

DISPATCHER: "Don't hang up sir, stay on the line please. Are you in any danger?"

[SILENCE]

DISPATCHER: "Sir, are-"

ICHABOD: "I don't know."

DISPATCHER: "You're in danger?"

ICHABOD: "I don't know."

DISPATCHER: "Are you alone right now?"

ICHABOD: "I don't know."

DISPATCHER: "Who is with you ?"

ICHABOD: "I don't-... I don't know."

DISPATCHER: "Have you been taking any medications or alcohol?"

ICHABOD: "No."

DISPATCHER: "Okay. And you said Avery isn't breathing?"

ICHABOD: "Yes, I killed her. I killed Avery."

DISPATCHER: "How long ago did this happen, sir?"

ICHABOD: "I don't know. She's cold."

DISPATCHER: "Okay. Please stay on the line."

[SILENCE]

ICHABOD: "I just wanted the police to be on their way, I just-... The bodies, I didn't want them to rot when they're discovered."

DISPATCHER: "Are-... Is there more than one body?"

ICHABOD: "Not yet, no."

DISPATCHER: "Are you planning to-"

ICHABOD: "-well, not here. Tabitha's body is gone."

DISPATCHER: "Has someone else died?"

ICHABOD: "Tabitha Jones is dead too. She was-... I shot her."

DISPATCHER: "Where is she?"

ICHABOD: "Buried. That wasn't today, though."

DISPATCHER: "Where is she buried, sir?"

ICHABOD: "And Lenore, too."

DISPATCHER: "How many people are injured or dead?"

ICHABOD: "Peopl-... Lenore is my bird."

DISPATCHER: "Okay. Have you hurt or killed anyone else?"

ICHABOD: "Matthias Watterson, too."

DISPATCHER: "The news anchor? Where is he?"

ICHABOD: "Yes, I strangled him. He's on the porch, I made sure he was dead too."

DISPATCHER: "Okay, sir, please stay on the line. Can you put your gun somewhere safe?"

ICHABOD: "I'm not going to do that, I'm sorry."

DISPATCHER: "Is someone threatening you?"

ICHABOD: "No."

DISPATCHER: "Are you planning to do harm to anyone else?"

ICHABOD: "Yes."

DISPATCHER: "Who?"

ICHABOD: "It's for me."

DISPATCHER: "For-... Are you planning on harming yourself?"

[SILENCE]

DISPATCHER: "Sir, can you hear me? Please stay on the line."

[SILENCE]

DISPATCHER: "Are you here, sir?"

ICHABOD: "I'm here."

DISPATCHER: "I need you to stay on the call, okay?"

ICHABOD: "They'll be here soon, won't they?"

DISPATCHER: "Yes, the police should arrive there soon."

ICHABOD: "I'm sorry about this. I hope your job has good benefits. You seem like a good person."

DISPATCHER: "I need you to remain on the call with me, okay?"

ICHABOD: "Not that I'm very good at telling who is a good person. Do they pay for therapy?"

DISPATCHER: "Sir, I need you to stay focused, okay? Where are you in your house?"

[SILENCE]

DISPATCHER: "Are you there? Sir, can you hear me?"

ICHABOD: "Thank you for speaking with me."

DISPATCHER: "I need you to stay on the call."

ICHABOD: "She would have liked you."
