1812: The Patriotic War
Under the guidance of Emperor Napoleon the great nation of France has beaten back coalition after coalition breaking the traditional powers of Europe at every turn, from Ulm to Austerlitz the Emperor has shown his superiority to the world and there is a general sense that no power can challange him. All that stands against him after years of combat is the British in Spain, even Russia has signed a humiliating treaty bringing them into the Continental System. Yet still Russia clings to the Emperors mind, they are not true allies after all, he did not conquer them like Prussia and Austria and they still trade with the British against his direct orders. Perhaps it is time the Tsar was taught some humility? Perhaps it was time the Grande Armée crossed the Nemen? After all he defeated them once in the field already so now with Europe behind him surly he could topple Russia before winter sets in and bring about the dream he always envisioned...right?
Hello everyone and welcome to 1812: The Patriotic War! As you may be able to gather this RP will be centred around the historically ruining invasion of Russia by Napoleon Bonaparte which set in motion his fall and the destruction of his armies by the Sixth Coalition. In this timeline who knows what might occur?
In this RP there will be three sections that directly affect each other,
1) The Russian Court: You can be a member of the Russian nobility with custom made characters, as Co-GM I shall be playing the Tsar but what is a ruler without scheming subjects? The Tsar after all is a young man of 18 years wholly inexperienced and easy to manipulate, perhaps you are the uncle who believes he should have the throne? Perhaps the vassal who sees an opportunity to shape the Tsar to their will? Or perhaps even the mother eager to protect her son from those who wish his fall. Whatever your wish the actions of the nobility often decide the fate of a country, it's no good being a General when the nobility refuses to raise conscription laws.
2) The Russian General Staff: Mother Russia faces the threat of France once more and the Generals stand ready to fight until the end, as Co-GM the role of Field Marshal and overall commander of the military is in the hands of
High Moon
but 3 General slots will be open (more if interest arises) with each General controlling around 125,000 of Russia's finest. Your role is simple, beat back the French at all costs through battles you oversee or through unconventional tactics the enemy would never think of. Please do note that Generals can of course be members of the Imperial Court and are very much incentiveised to do so especially before the war officially starts. Members of the nobility (especially the younger members) can also take up commissions and serve under Generals in battles if they so wish.
3) The Grande Armée: Its time brothers and sisters, the revolution must be brought to Russia and it's people shown the light of our glorious Emperor! The role of Napoleon shall be under the ever clever eyes of

but just like the Russians a military needs commanders. 5 General roles shall be open initially for the French and these roles are exactly the same as for Russian players except there is non of that court rubbish the Russians seem so fixated on and each General shall have 137,000 men each instead.
If there are separate roles outside of this you wish to inquire about then dont hesitate to ask either myself or
