No, Greece split up from eachother and the ottomans conquered them after byzantium was taken.
Edit, I mean split from the byzantines into sovereign states until being conquered later.
on the map, it has Greece under Ottoman control.

Um, the republic of greece agrees to an alliance i guess, hoping there is no hard feelings for the whole rebellions.

I did overestimate the population, as the events of the Fourth Crusade shortened the population drastically, but 50,000 to 100,000 seems like a gross understatement.

Look it up. The impending invasion of the ottomans made a lot of people try to jump ship, and the population had been declining even before that.

I looked it up; And multiple different sources are conflicted, "Jumping Ship" would be a good excuse, if Constantinople possessed enough ships to ferry anyway near a third of the populace away, and the declination of the capital beforehand was in no case cataclysmic, 800,000 doesn't reduce to 100,000 without some solid, logical reasoning. Rome's populace was pretty much slaughtered, the result? Rome became a useless city. Yet Constantinople was still one of the greatest cities in the world even after the Fourth Crusade; hence, the Ottoman's obsession with taking the city.
