Any posts count to your post count as long as they're not on profiles, in private conversations, in the private workshop, or in personal discussion.
Since you've already posted an introduction, entertainment and rp discussion forums are good for making posts if you can't find a rp. ✧d(•́⌄•́๑)
Also, technically, your account is already activated- you're using it now. The ten post and 24 hour rule just restricts you from making profile posts, starting private conversations, and setting a signature.
It's a safeguard against trolls and spambots.
