CURRENTLY —

The new school year at Montgomery Academy has begun! Students have returned to campus to begin a new year, with much tension and grief in the air. During the summer, the Love Club hosted their legendary End of the World party in the school's swimming pool facility. Celebrating the graduation of senior club members, and the welcoming of new members for the upcoming year, tragedy struck. The academy's star quarterback and prominent club member, Jordi Young, was found dead in the water. His funeral came a week later, attended by most, if not all club members.

With drowning ruled out as his cause of death, the pressure is beginning to weigh down on the Love Club.

President of the Love Club. Daughter of the headmistress, Vivetta Montgomery. & Head bitch of the school. Character sheet.

Orey Reinhart — best friend.

Having known each other since childhood, Orey is Cecilia's closest best friend and the two are attached at the hip. He is one of the people at school who knows her the most, and they've seen each other through highs, lows, and everything in between. They're both insufferable rich kids who bicker and make fun constantly, but are at a level of comfort in their platonic relationship where affection is normal; they regularly have sleepovers, go out for lunch together, share dressing rooms, and most of the school probably thinks they're dating. Cecilia isn't sure how she'd survive without having Orey in her life. Contrasting her strict and disciplined personality, he's helped her learn how to have fun and relax a bit (and totally ruin her diet for ballet.) There are some romantic feelings, deep in her chest, that she's heavily ignoring. For now, however, they're simply those uppity boujee kids who judge you from afar, are at ease with each other, and balance each other out well.


Hyacinth Abdella — best friend.

While they only met during their early days at Montgomery, Cecilia also considers Hyacinth a close best friend of hers. She holds a deep admiration for her, with the girl's effortless beauty and brains, and is happy to have her at her side on the Love Club's executive board. While her, Orey, and Cecilia are the "Heathers" of the school, the two girls have a bit of tension between them. Whether it be popularity, the best grades, or something else, Cecilia does regard Hyacinth as competition, and she wants to be the best. Nonetheless, they are still comfortable with each other, and frequently gossip, hang around, and Cecilia certainly uses her freedoms as the headmistresses daughter to make sure the girl has a comfortable life at Montgomery. They can rip into each other as much as they want, but the moment anyone says anything rude to Hyacinth, Cecilia will be there to make their life hell.

Ryan Lewis — love club member.

Despite the fact that Cecilia would hate the traits in anybody else, she somewhat enjoys Ryan's bubbly and upbeat personality, and appreciates the brightness she brings to the club meetings. They're not exactly friends outside of the Love Club, but Cecilia figures she could take Ryan under her wing if the girl so desires.

Igarashi Kosuke — friend.

A low effort friend and fellow club member, Cecilia enjoys Kosuke's company and knows they can hang around together without worries of drama or bullshit. She holds him in high regard, respecting his ideology, reputation, and he's one of the realest people she's met in Montgomery. They're regular smoking buddies who can sit on the roof and talk about anything without feeling pressured.

Elijah Kinsley — love club member.

A fellow club member, Cecilia enjoys having Elijah as a part of the club, but doesn't have any particularly strong feelings for or against him. He's nice enough, handsome, and has a cute accent. They could possibly be friends.

Joshua Dayton — friend.

Her right hand man as the Vice President of the Love Club, Cecilia appreciates having Joshua to help lead the club. While at first their relationship was strictly "professional," the two were soon able to actually be emotional and talk with each other, shedding their cool and collected facades used for the rest of the school. Being the school's most visible students, Cecilia is glad to have him as a friend, instead of competition.

Sawyer Kitovits — love club member.

Cecilia often questions why she let Sawyer join the club. While he is talented, she can't really stand to be around him.

Sinclaire White — love club member.

Familiar with his older brother who graduated out of the club, Cecilia doesn't have any particularly strong feelings towards Sinclaire, but is curious to see what he'll bring to the table. She allowed him to join the club a bit later than the rest of the new members.

Cameron Dupré — friend.

Cecilia is pretty neutral towards Cameron. While he is on the club's executive board, and she appreciates and respects his role, they can barely call each other friends. They keep it professional and polite. There's a possibility they could be friends down the line.

Angel Jimenez-Sorenson — acquaintance.

After rejecting his application for the club, Angel is a bit of a thorn in Cecilia's side. They don't know each other well, and she'd like to keep it that way, thank you very much. He's handsome, and she'd be interested, if he didn't mess with her or the club so much.

Lucian Edevane — friends with benefits.

Cecilia would never admit it, but Lucian's looks and charm are quite attractive, and she likes having him around. She's used to people trying to schmooze and woo her by now, but Lucian's methods were certainly effective. There's no actual feelings there, but she's happy with them being friends with benefits, and nothing more.

Donovan Reece — friend.

Cecilia is extremely upset about Jordi's untimely death. While she's trying to remain calm and collected, wanting to be a strong leader for the club, she's emotionally compromised. Her and Jordi were close friends, after meeting in their first class of freshman year, and she held Jordi in high regard. He knew quite a bit about Cecilia, her life and secrets, more than most of the other regular members.

Jude Rivera-Carvajal — enemy.

Jude and Cecilia loathe each other, with no particular reason why, but they're basically enemies.

[ ♕ ] | Cecilia Montgomery ( low fidelity ) The two of them met during their freshman year at Montgomery Academy. Like typical wealthy children they had grouped together with those like them. However, Hyacinth would admit that she paid more attention to Cecilia once she found out that she was the headmistress’ daughter. Her parents had sent her to the school to make powerful connections and she would do just that. It was clear that they were alike in many ways, which helped them bond. Brains, beauty, and an incredibly wealthy and influential family, it made sense that they stuck together. Of course, because of this they viewed and still view each other as completion. Be it in grades or popularity the two of them saw each other as worthy opponents fighting for their way at the top of the food chain. They tear into one another yet still find themselves able to hang out and call the other best friend, dealing with anyone who dare attempt to offend or hurt the other. They push each other to be the best that they can be. Their friendship only grew as time went on. Hyacinth holds Cecilia in high regard. She can’t deny that she is the queen of the school, not that she would ever admit it to her, and they was she runs things with such poise and efficiency is something worth admiring. Hyacinth may very well view Cecilia like a sister, again she’d never tell.

[ ♕ ] | Orey Reinheart ( timshel ) Hyacinth met Orey through Cecilia. Without the enemy aspect that she has with Cecilia the two of them just clicked. With their love of books and the arts, fine art in Orey’s case, they have much to talk about and bond over. Hyacinth often exchange books with him and even though he isn’t one for romance she appreciates that he reads it to talk about it with her anyway. Hyacinth loves that fact that he knows so many big words and found that her own vocabulary has expanded because of him. During sleepovers with Cecilia Hyacinth would often use Orey as a guinea pig to improve her makeup skills. Hyacinth often worries about him though, knowing that he tends to hide how he feels and isolate himself.

[ ♘ ] | Cameron Duprè ( TheWaffleLord ) Hyacinth met Cameron after joining the love club. She enjoyed his free-spirited ways as she’s sure that he enjoyed hers. The fact that he’s from New Orleans also is interesting to her, seeing as the culture has been influenced by French culture. She enjoys talking about it with him and comparing and contrasting the two. Since he is an avid reader like herself the two of them often exchange and suggestion books between each other. They get together and read the same books to review them, like a mini book club.

[ ♘ ] | Ryan Lewis l ( oxytocin ) Hyacinth thinks that the girl is absolutely adorable. Her title as the Love Club mascot suits her well. She’s just a little ray of sunshine to be around which is charming. Hyacinth often encourages her to join the drama club since she has shown interest in it.

[ ♘ ] | Sinclaire White ( Twin Fantasy ) They’re the type of friends that no one would expect to be friends. As president of the art club Sinclaire often helps with designing sets and costumes. He’s the softest thing and Hyacinth can’t help but adore him. The two of them bonded over their love of art.

[ ♘ ] | Kosuke Igarashi ( Makomin ) In the past the two of them had met once or twice during charity galas and balls hosted by their families. Hyacinth finds him fascinating and mysterious, two traits that she loves in a boy. In the beginning they didn’t interact much, until Kosuke managed to catch her eye. Being the social butterfly that she is Hyacinth began to talk to them and at first he was standoffish, eventually he gave in to her and relaxed around her. There was an incident with Pascal and a rat, but he was able to get over it and the two of them are still friends.

[ ❆ ] | Angel Sorenson ( oxytocin ) Hyacinth finds him undoubtedly attractive. Normally Hyacinth would be all for entertaining him. But his love for pranks (towards the club) puts her off, or it would seem that way. She ignores his appeal out of her loyalty to the club. Hyacinth also enjoys tarnishing his reputation as a playboy a little, seeing as she’s known for being a romantic yet won’t give him the time of day. Of course she isn’t too stand-offish towards him as she enjoys flirting and being admired all too much. Hyacinth humors him in little ways, playing a bit of hot and cold to keep him drawn in.

Vivian is one of those girls that perhaps, in another lifetime, Estelle could see herself being friends with. However, life likes making stupid jokes. Vivian. Head Cheerleader. Well-liked. Kind. Has loving friends and perhaps even a loving family. Trusting. Perfect. Estelle absolutely is envious of the girl. Jealousy is a nasty bug. She believes Vivian has everything she's ever wanted and is everything she could never attain to be. To make matters worse, Estelle believes that no one could be that genuine or rather, can't let go of the fact that she practically could steal her friends away from her. "All these friends but you choose them". It doesn't sit well with Estelle. Not one bit. Although Vivian tries to get to know her, Estelle can not bring herself to let go.

[ ❖ ] | Claire Brown ( )
Most likely seen her in passing, Estelle won't go out of her way to speak to the girl. However, she has noticed and heard whispers countless times of people telling Claire to never get in her "way" and other rumours. Regardless, Estelle ignores them and sees Claire as just someone amongst the crowd. However, perhaps, at the house, the two can get acquainted with each other with both of them being hopeless romantics. But, with Estelle's untrusting and cold deameanor, it may take a while to melt the ice even if Estelle could potentially find herself fond of the girl.

[ ❖ ] | Savannah Gardner ( )
Only noticable due to her hair, Estelle can admire the girl's bold statement with different hair colours and tatted art on her skin. Nevertheless, the two would rarely interact with each other on campus. But, at the house, there could potentially be some interactions with the two. . . especially when there's a lot of alcohol involved. Adventure and alcohol, what better way to make someone's acquaintance? Lay it all out of the field.

Estelle notices skateboarders on campus, finding fascination with the wheels and tricks in the air. Watching the boarders from afar only makes her wonder what it's like to be free-flying. Nevertheless, Anvindr and Estelle never talked on campus at all. But, being away from civilisation may be the perfect chance for the two to be acquainted. With the beach and the woods, quietness can be found, perhaps even Anvindr. The two may not interact but his calming aura can perhaps help her to relax, letting go of worries.

Although a few of her acquaintances may know her, especially Ana, Estelle maintains her distance, not one to involve herself in other people's business. She doesn't know much about the girl aside from her reputation. At one point, Estelle was tempted to buy from her, she never did. Instead, Estelle makes sure to go her seperate way and has no opinions of the girl, not wanting to tempt herself into getting into drugs as a way to relieve her turmoil. Alcohol was enough.

Estelle doesn't know much about the girl to form an opinion. However, she had class a few times with her and Katherine always seemed to be able to make her laugh, even if Estelle never admits such a feat.

Another she doesn't know much about, but has class with. The only impression she can judge from the boy is the fact that he reminds her of a skittish deer. Regardless, she will give credit where it's due, he's very intelligent. Maybe one day, in the future, they could do business together, but, who knows.

Cecilia Montgomery: best friend
Orey and Cecilia are, effectively, each other's shadow, and they've been that way ever since they met in private middle school: they go on frequent lunch dates, he takes her out into the city in his BMW, and she's the only person he reliably texts back. He trusts her with his life, and although he tends to be sparing in the sadder details of his life, there isn't much that she doesn't know about him. They have a physical platonic relationship that easily appears romantic to people who don't know them well, but he finds tremendous comfort and reassurance in her presence. Is that the beginning of different kinds of feelings, though? Only time will tell. But he, Cecilia, and Hyacinth make a fearsome best friend trio.

Hyacinth Abdella: close friend
Although his relationship with Hyacinth is mostly due to his closeness to Cecilia, he is still very grateful for her friendship. They are also quite close, frequently spending late nights together, watching The Bachelor when it airs every week, shopping, and experimenting with the latest trends in makeup and nail art (he's a great and willing guinea pig). not only that, but they share similar academic interests and an appreciation for the arts and literature, which allows for a range of trivial and deep conversations. She is the crucial third piece in the best friend trio.

Cameron Dupré: close friend (+ guy squad member)
As much as Orey enjoys his relationships with his feminine friends, Cameron meets the needs he also has for positive male companionship. Cameron's more outgoing personality complements Orey's more reserved one nicely, and he shows a rarely seen sensitive, understanding side when topics get more serious. Even though the guy squad they both belong to is good for letting loose, cursing, shouting, and drinking, the fact that Cameron appeals to his other interests and emotional needs has lead Orey to think very highly of him.

Donovan Reece: friend
Orey has found an intellectual match in Donovan. Although their individual areas of expertise are quite far apart, he likes that Donovan is as curious to learn about art and the history around it as he is to learn about computer science and coding. He is possibly interested in developing a closer relationship with him as the school year goes on.

Sinclaire White: friend
These two are frequent classmates, as they are both interested in art history, and as members of the Love Club, they find they see each other around campus quite often. Although Sinclaire is quite a bit younger than Orey is, he still calls him a friend and they enjoy a relatively uncomplicated, amicable relationship. Occasionally, when exhibits change, they'll take a trip to the MET.

Angel Jimenez-Sorenson: friend (+ guy squad member)
Orey maintains a good, casual relationship with Angel. Although they don't have everything in common, the fact that there's relatively little drama protects him from pranks, to a degree. He's seen the damage they can do (and he'd be lying if he said he didn't participate in or film a few of them), so he would rather keep his comments to himself than subject himself to that. He does like having a smoking (and other substances) buddy, though.

Sawyer Kitovis: begrudging friend (+ guy squad member)
These two have a relationship mostly due to the sort of guy squad they've both found themselves in. Orey can't say that he likes most aspects about Sawyer, but he does appreciate that he's smart enough to keep up in conversation topics that are out of the realm of women, sex, and booze. He's the friend Orey keeps purposefully at arm's length.

Lucian Edevane: begrudging friend (+ guy squad member)
He is usually able to keep his cool pretty well and maintain the visage of being unbothered, but Lucian has a way of getting under his skin so well and so quickly. Everything about Lucian (the fact that he's tall, handsome, charismatic, and insufferable) irks him deeply (because he's deeply insecure), and in Orey's eyes, he has very few redeeming qualities. They are only friends because he fits in incredibly well with the rest of his guy squad.

cecil and joshua are like the two menacing anime characters always well-dressed and obviously commanding and leaderly. as the leaders of the love club, they are often seen together a lot and plan a lot of things. but their friendship isn’t just on the professional level, rather they have come to be close to each other and share their weaknesses. cecil is one of the only people joshua has left himself break down in front of.

joshua isn’t quite sure what francis thinks of him and it puts him a bit on-edge. he’s nice to him and most of the school knows them as the two pretty boys (appearance and personality-wise) as well as both of them being pretty tall. joshua is more tentative around francis but they likely share a lot of friends as they can both make them easily. joshua has asked francis to teach him how to skateboard multiple times.

jude and joshua are the friends who pretend like they don’t know each other until they’re talking about music. since both of them play at least two instruments, they often mess around together on their instruments and do whatever. despite the fact that joshua isn’t much of a punk rocker fan, he still participates in learning and singing or playing with jude to those sorts of songs. he will sometimes butt in with ideas when it comes to composition, but he tries not to push his luck with jude too much.

kosu and joshua have bonded perhaps only because of the fact that uneducated students have thought they were related. rich academy or not, people still can’t recognize the difference between a japanese and a korean. sometimes remarked of as the anime protagonists, they actually work quite well as joshua being the bubbly supporting character while kosu takes center stage as the quiet, aggressive hero archetype.

joshua is terrified that hyacinth will see through his fake and manipulative personality a bit into the real him damaged and obsessive so he tries to keep his distance a bit. of course he ain’t no pussy so he interacts with her as part of the club in order to keep his benevolent and kind-to-all personality but she genuinely scares him lmao.

joshua and ryan are the sunshine squad and nobody can convince me otherwise. he feeds off her constant good vibes in order to help push his own down, which is toxic, yeah but it’s fun as hell too. they jam a lot and play ukulele or guitar together and you can catch both of them downing shots of espresso in the back of at least one of the classes.

elijah and joshua are art hoe friends!! right in the middle of a conversation with the club, joshua leans over and is like “i stole the keys from the art room do you want to steal some paints?” so they sneak off and everyone just assumes that they’re making out?? but instead, they come back with paint stains on their uniforms and just talking animatedly about art as per-usual.

joshua and sawyer are probably the two most actively involved in sports out of the club members. they are the jocks, if you will, though outside of that joshua doesn’t associate much with sawyer. he makes sure they are friends so he isn’t excluded by the rest of their team members and he likes to feel comfortable enough around him, but joshua can be a bit soft compared to sawyer sometimes. in short, sawyer is why joshua has some anger issues.

rose and joshua met at their house when he had to step out in order to blow off some steam because sawyer said something a little too masculine for joshua’s taste. he stumbles across the croquis game and asks to join in, completely unaware of who rose is. they bond over their inability to put up with sawyer for long and through that they actually find that they got along well with each other and it seems effortless for them to hang out and converse. people who often ask for their advice call them “mom” and “dad” to both of their disdain.

sinclaire and joshua quietly do art together in the corner of the room when people get to be… too much. he thinks it’s important for sinclaire to have friends and he’s genuinely interested in the foundations behind why sinclaire is such a cynical and gloomy person. it is a little tough for joshua to hang out for long periods of time with sinclaire because joshua has a little more energy than sinclaire. he completes the art hoe triad with elijah and sinclaire.

joshua looks up to lotte’s intellect but she intimidates him aside from that. however, her ability to play the harpsichord intrigues him and he’s trying to work up the courage to ask her if she would teach him a little bit. he imagines it’s very similar to playing the piano, but he’s still hesitant to touch a harpsichord (especially lotte’s).

cameron and joshua have been friends ever since they both began attending montgomery academy. he was one of the people who coaxed joshua into applying for the love club alongside cameron and they luckily got in together. cameron is joshua’s best friend now and he has some of the more confidential information on file, thanks to an outburst joshua couldn’t contain in their sophomore year.

joshua is really only friends with orey because he and cameron are so close. the man’s intelligence and pure prestige makes joshua feel slightly uncomfortable, but he gets a lot of knowledge whenever he’s around orey. he definitely sees the similarities between sinclaire and orey, so he treats orey much the same, though with perhaps more fear as respect.

despite what other people say and think (especially joshua’s best bud cameron), he thinks that lacey is absolutely enigmatic and captivating. her whole way of living is quite unknown to him and he recognizes that she is somewhat of an outcast, so he tries to befriend her in order to both appear as a saint to others and to actually be there for lacey since it didn’t seem like many others were. he’s patient with her and he enjoys listening to her stories about solving cases. he might enlist her help with jordi’s death…

angel is the person who makes joshua doubt his sexuality. although he has a responsibility as the vp of the love club, joshua can’t help but feel very tempted to join in on angel’s pranks. he feels an unsettling attraction for the other man despite the fact that joshua believes himself to be straight. perhaps angel is one of the boys to help joshua explore his sexuality, likely coming from joshua asking or confessing in secret.

joshua feels uncharacteristically bashful around lucian, but at the same time his insecurity about his own appearance leaves him feeling discouraged and frustrated, especially thanks to his confusing urges toward both lucian and angel. he would hate to get involved in the beef going down with lucian, orey, cecil, and hyacinth so instead he stands back and hangs out with cameron and lucian.

whatever june is about, joshua is a part of it too. as involved as he is around campus, he’s not quite as informed about things on the outside so it’s a breath of fresh air to hear about all the things june stands for. she’s basically his news station, where he gets all of the hot world tea from and ways that he can give a helping hand.

joshua could’ve never been able to approach elisabet had it not been for lacey. although he still keeps his distance because that’s one group he knows he would get criticized for joining, he is still able to approach elisabet whenever lacey is around, feeling more comfortable if lacey were there. however, if elisabet is on her own, joshua is unlikely to talk to her on his own accord.

don and joshua circle each other like feral cats, in all honesty. since they are both a bit manipulative when it comes to their friends and just how they appear in general, it’s easy for them to spot each other’s tactics. they have the ability to be civil, but often than not there’s some suspicious tension between them. joshua delights in the shitshow that all of his friends have made together but he acts concerned. fucking liar lmao. there is some sexual tension between them, making things a tad awkward.

A regular member of the Love Club, Kosuke is known as the privileged delinquent-gangster of the academy who never gets in trouble because of his NYPD Chief-of-Police father. President of the Hapkido Club in the Academy, it seems like there's nothing more to Kosuke other than his brute nature. Who knows? You might discover something more than a brick wall under his reputation and exterior.

Donovan Reece | Close Friend
Plagued with skepticism at first, Kosu was wary about Donovan, assuming he was being friendly with Kosu because he could get something out of him. However, instead of acting negatively towards it, Don simply worked harder at convincing Kosu that them getting into shenanigans, trouble and probably frowned upon by most of the academy's teachers was their true time spent together. Though Kosu gets annoyed at Don at times being his almost flamboyant self, Kosu knows that they're each other's ride and die.

Elijah Kinsley | Close Friend & Confused Romantic Feelings
One of the very few people who actually made the effort to get to know Kosu even though he seemingly pushed (or more accurately, ignored) Elijah's efforts in initiating their friendship. Kosu will forever be grateful to him for seeing the best in him when most didn't. His caring, bright and clumsy nature reeled Kosu in sooner than expected and the Taiwanese-Japanese can't help but feel protective over him. However, as time passes, his increasing care for him grows and he can't help but wonder whether there really is something more.

Cecelia Montgomery | Friend
True to herself and never bringing bullshit, Cecelia is that one friend Kosu can 100% be himself around. They spend most of their time smoking at the rooftop of the academy or just catching up whenever they have the chance to. Kosu feels a sense of relieve being able to unload his usually hidden worries to her and vice versa.

Ryan Lewis | Friend
The Mei to his Cat Bus, Kosu sees Ryan as one of sisters- his youngest sister. He puts up with almost everything she does which includes her climbing on him like a cat on a tree and her attempting to braid his hair. Similar to Venellope to Ralph, Kosu is the protective Older Brother figure who will eat anyone for breakfast if they mess with her.

Hyacinth Ife Abdella | Friend
Having met Hyacinth in a few of the elite socialising parties his father brings him to, Kosu somehow finds comfort in her presence though she still does occasionally flirts with him. Though she and Kosu seem like too different of a dynamic, her fun nature does allow Kosu enjoy life a bit more. Of course, except for her demon pet snake.
