Fandom Marvel Universe 2100 AD Character Sheets

Placeholder, actual lore is available in the #worldbuilding channel of the Discord server but a shinier and more organized version will be placed here soon. <hr/> I would prefer human characters, but that is by no means a hard and fast rule. Name (remember, mutants and inhumans have their...

    Nation Building Diadochi Dialogues

Ooh, fancy. I seriously recommend some kind of warring states thing after D’mt fell though, Aethiopia would have been awesome if Egypt wasn’t available.

Is there an updated map I’m not seeing...?

    Nation Building Diadochi Dialogues

If you need some ideas for nations, we could have backwater violent paupers like the Romans, the Amazons LadyOfStars bailed on, and the Aethopian warring states after D’mt collapsed.

    Nation Building Diadochi Dialogues

I think I’ll wait to post until all the NPC nations are sorted.

    Nation Building Diadochi Dialogues

I mean, I guess that works, but I feel like this game should be able to simulate people spying on your conversations.

Can we say that... maybe spoiler all private messages, and you can only read them if you have Espionage/Spies as a strength of your nation? Honor code isn’t that effective, but it works well enough to prevent metagaming.

Will there be an option to build trade routes across the grey desert?
  14. Dystopianist

    Nation Building Diadochi Dialogues

Oh yeah, Land of the Black Sands from my lore post is the English translation of “Khemet” (or Km.t), the endonym for the ancient Egyptian civilization. Egypt is derived from Aegyptus, the Latin name for the region - the Black Sands refer to the fertile black soil along the Nile. But I’ve...

Wondering how to reconcile the Faux-Seleucids with Nokhep history... maybe the Nokhep civilization developed on a river directly from the sea, while the faux-Seleucids developed on a river farther inland? That way it’s sort of similar to how Egypt and Mesopotamia were connected.

    Nation Building Diadochi Dialogues

Aw, I was actually looking forward to seeing LadyOfStars’ nation. I’m not opposed to it, though I’m guessing I took most of my land from the faux!Seleucids so we’d probably start the game in active war. The leader of their country should probably be the governor of the region appointed by Arkantos.

Would it be ok if my nation has a better reputation for the quality of finished goods, while you just mostly export a lot?
  18. Dystopianist

    Nation Building Diadochi Dialogues

@Heterological Are your trade goods finished goods or raw materials? If the former, we’re rivals, if the latter, we’re probably friendly.

I thought we were assuming he wasn’t coming, but ok, this will still do. Guess they’re going to be the Carthage then.
