Will do! I'm currently working on my own, but I've been listening to so many different styles. It really helps to hear a variety, because otherwise I feel like I only express one mood in my own. I like to be exposed. :)
Ohhh, I found Phil straightaway. When Love Arrives is great! I'm going to check out these links when I get back from rehearsal. <3 Thank you for the extra links!
My co-worker showed me both of these! Isn't Sarah's voice just poetic in itself? Haha. I don't personally identify with any groups (have a long, complicated story about problems with labels) but I have to admit that Savannah Brown is pretty decent. She's also got a unique draw in to her voice...

I've really gotten into spoken word poetry lately. Of course, I have nowhere to perform or the time or the poems prepared to do so... But I was wondering who all on here enjoyed it as much as I've (really, really recently) discovered that I do? I'm actually working on a piece right now...

Hello! Some of you know me, and many, many, many do not, mainly because I don't get on the forums very often outside of 1x1 Interest Checks. Just a forewarning... If you aren't in college or pursuing some sort of professional career already, this might not resonate as much...
I said that because I loved the dramatic tone of it. xD Sorry, my communications skills are off today.
And I'd imagine something like this would take a while! But, hey-- kudos!
We're in the same boat about posting... But yay for another cover artist!! Try "Pardon Me" by He Is We. Very easy piano, and the chorus and the bridge are super easy to sing to. A piano chord cover of "I Wouldn't Mind" kind of exists. By the same band.
Now that's awesome. My only classical instrument is clarinet.. I've played it since fifth grade. Loooooong ago. Do you sing when you do piano? If not that's cool, I'm just happy to meet someone else who likes covers besides me. Haha. I sit here and record just for fun.
