At the top of each thread, there used to be a thing saying '17 people are watching this thread', or whatever. You could then click on this to see who was watching your threads, and it was handy if you were setting up an RP for seeing who was silently interested in your threads without actually...
As in a PM Roleplay? That's a difficult one... for reasons of validation, that'd have to be a no, unless there's any evidence of a public CS/public role playing for me to look at.
Hey, so, about three times this week I've had this strange notification bug. I'd return to the site, maybe after a night's sleep, to find, say, three PMs and three notifications, but when I go to the notifications, I actually only have one. I checked all my threads and, nope, all of them were up...
Pardon me if I'm a little late to this, but from my experiences, the general thread notification overrides the tag one. In my latest RP, I'd wake up to multiple posts tagged with my name. The first one wouldn't show up as a tag notification, but any later ones would. Hope this helps!
It's never been something that's grabbed me personally, but then again, I've also has no interaction with such characters on this site yet. Anyhow, I've met others who feel this same way and can see why it's an issue, and agree with the suggestion :)
I agree wholeheartedly with this. Having a tag for suggested level is handy for some reasons, but from my experience in RPing, I've never really felt like there was a need for them. It is of course useful to know the level of detail (and experience) expected for an RP, but most RPers put that in...
