I've been a guild master before so I could try but unfortunately I don't know the dnd rules.

I'm willing to try to give it a shot though. The main thing putting me off of trying is that there are many editions of Dnd and I dont know which one to learn.

5e. Definitely 5e. It's the latest and most commonly used, plus a critical favorite as well. So, if you want to learn one, that would be it.

the handbook for that is 200 pages lmao.

I'm not sure if you would have time to learn the rules and be ready for GMing by the time in which I can play, but if you'd like I can pull up the rules? I think I had a link to them somewhere...

I see. Well, as you probably guessed there is a lot more to D&D than that. Even if D&D 5e is just about the most accessible one out there, from what I hear.

doesnt seem too complex tbh. Can't promise ill be able to gm your specific d&d thing but I might read this through in like, a day or two.

If you want you are free to try. If DMing doesn't work you might be able to experience it from a player's seat at least. Of course, do it only if you want, I'd hate for you to be forcing yourself for my sake.
