Fun Fact~China uses thigh meat for their chicken patties (McDonalds) Anyone willing to debate that fact so I can start rethinking my life choices?
Idea

Could be true- but China is also under a repressive communist regime with child birth policies and mandatory abortions, lack of safety regulations in many things and is infamous for it´s child abuse, etc... So China can hardly be said to be the place to look at for the big picture.

I say that-because to this day I'm scarred from the moment I realized the color of the chicken meat I was biting into wasn't the white I was used to. But, I don't think there's room to complain cause when I was in China McDonalds was a safe haven, believe it or not.

I suddenly feel unsafe. I find the urgent need to hug a pillow.

China was a bittersweet experience for me, I've been to the highs and lows of it. Been to the chinese Las Vegas, Macau, and a not-so likable area like Zhuhai. It was a great experience, I got to live like a king for three days, and a dog for the rest of the stay.

There are treating chemicals, mostly oils, and lots of air in McDonalds food, in order to make it less expensive to produce. However, the rest of it are myths, created during a time when hating on McDonalds was the "cool" thing to do. However, apart from some burocratic complications of every major company and the fact that the food they sell isn´t healthy (but who´d expect it to be?), it´s safe.

THE BEDS, THEY WERE LIKE A DAMN BOX WITH A SHEET OVER IT. AND THE SHEET, UGH, THE SWEAT STAINS DAMMIT. NOT TO MENTION THE BUGS. I slept on the floor in the end.

To be fair, Macau's known to be a tourist's location, when Zhuhai...not so much...three-star hotel's the best service you'll get, and even for it's rating it's not so great. I think the biggest challenge was the food, and my supervisor wasn't much help either. It's all good, and I'm somewhat glad I got to experience it.
(Things much scarier than getting eaten...like being robbed *Gasp!*)

It comes together in the end, our supervisor told us a story once, that a rich merchant used to go for walks around our area, he'd dress simple and life was good, and one time he forgot to take off his expensive watch and was robbed. He had his hand cut-off and he bled out. So I suppose that's kinda worse than being eaten...wait...no...The supervisor was kinda mean, I mean some of the people there were very nice...

He's lucky he didn't have to experience anything like that firsthand.

In the end, the muggers had the upper hand though, how unfortunate for the man...Man they're ruthless, not afraid to get their hands dirty...And I don't think his hand was in safe ha--
Okay imma stop, sorry.
