Yeah, to work on Taco Bell's,babysitting,... I'd imagined something like a marine biologist to be something you couldn't get in without at least having a major and a degree (I may be getting the words wrong, but you get the point)

Ha, those aren't professions, when you're in the college of sciences you're pretty much immediately certified and the professors will hire you to do research or to assist them with their research, well only if you've shown that you're capable of doing such tasks which I've more than shown. Anyone can be a scientist, but only the good ones get recognized
